Oh, my gosh hi everybody and welcome back to my channel, I'm Jamie, Jo and today we are trying out The Tick Tock viral denim brush technique where you wrap the curls around the base of the neck, and then you get super tight spirals. This is the first time I'm trying this out on my hair and I typically like separated big voluminous curls. So this is a very different routine for me. Let'S try it out together and um see how it goes. The technique I'm doing is not perfect, because it literally is the first time I've done it and it took me a lot of fiddling, but we got there in the end, but the ended result to be a surprise, so we can really get a fun First Impressions Together, let me know what you guys think Below in the comments and follow me on my Tick Tock for kind of curly hair videos a lot more throughout the week. I love you all. Thanks for supporting my channel and yeah make sure you subscribe and stay tuned for more videos, let's hop into it. Okay, guys, let's try out this viral Tick, Tock, curly, hair, routine and see what it's all about. You know. I'Ve used a genuine brush for years, but in a few different ways, I really prefer big voluminous separated, curls more like about about volume, separation and like massive hair, rather than spirally defined hair. So this will definitely be a different routine for me today, in the shower. I started with olaplex number three before the shower left that in for around 10 minutes, then I used all the Plex number four, the clarifying shampoo on my scalp and ends a little bit and then I use the bond conditioner, which is number five. That'S everything I use in the shower on my hair. Now I'm going to apply all the Plex number six Bond, smoother, I'm going to now I'm going to follow that up with a little bit of apple apple. I always say that apple and aloe defining curl definer from Italian, so I have a feeling my hair needs to be super wet for this, I'm going to wet it one more time in the comb, I'm going to go away from my face. So, let's grab it here, pull it halfway and then twist it and then I'm going to wrap it upwards. You know I'm going to twist it and release the curl. Oh my gosh, that's amazing, except I want my front piece to curl away from my head. I figured it out, keep it tight, I think that's the trick. That'S quite pretty. Let'S keep going that's a bit better. You guys have a lot of patience. I think the reason I like being separated curls is because it's so quick and easy, and this takes forever. I want to redo this because she's she's, not living that was good. This technique definitely does work. I just don't think I'm the best at it. Yet I need to practice. I might redo this, I'm not the best at it. I'M not the best at this technique. Yet but I think it is a really great technique: it's definitely created some beautiful clumps um. It definitely manipulates your hair texture, though it's not going to be like your natural curl pattern. Taking this section, I don't know if it's going to be different on this side easier or harder. It'S definitely harder for me to see my mirror. Okay, okay, I'm really struggling with this side of my head. A million years later we have finally arrived. This was difficult. I'M not gon na lie. I want to just try something different. I'M thinking this is gon na, be a much better technique. It'S all right. What I'm predicting is very flat curls from the top of my head, but definition and spirals on the bottom. My hair's going to look not voluminous at all once this is dry, but when we separate curl clumps a little bit, it'll still look pretty. This needs some time to set and it really needs a cast. So I'm going to use a gel from the curly Girl Movement um. I don't know how to apply this. I guess without breaking the clumps that I have applied it first, so guys I don't really know if this is the technique for me. But if you like this look, it could definitely work. I don't think this is something I would do every time I style my hair. Okay. Now that I look like a founding father uh, let's continue this. Oh, my God cheers if this works for you, but I don't think it's my vibe, I'm sitting tiny bit of oil. My I can just already tell the front of my hair is just not cute. Okay, like they look beautiful. Definitely they look really pretty foreign. Okay. My friends, this is where we're at you can definitely get super super defined ringlets, but I feel like it doesn't look as nice to frame the front of your face. It'S flatter on top and then um with my hair type, that kind of thrives off a little bit smaller clumps and separated hair. This is not the best. It takes a really really long time and it just doesn't give me the desired look. You could like separate the hair a lot less than I have to minimize frizz, but then you're going to be left. Looking a bit like a Founding Father like there's still some really nice parts of my hair anyway, that's the end of today's video. I probably won't be doing this between very much unless I want to just single out a few little bits and pieces um, but you guys, let me know your thoughts. I would love to know your thoughts. I love the products I used, however, and I'm kind of upset. I feel like I've kind of ruined a wash day. You know in a sense um, but what can you do? We did it for the tick tock and we did it for the YouTube bit. So I hope you enjoyed. I love you guys.

Charlotte D: I've tried this several times and really wanted to like it, i just get flat roots and fluffy frizz. Glad you tried it and we had similar results

Lena Mandwee: I like this technique for certain fuzzy pieces but I definitely wouldn’t have the patience to do it all over ❤

Yasmeen Kadri: We literally have the same hair type and this style is one that doesn’t suit our hair type, the big voluminous curly hair looks better ❤️

Belinda Chappell: I feel you on the wasted wash day. Agree it still looks pretty but your natural curl pattern is way nicer. Thanks for experimenting for us ❤

emilia: I’ve been doing this technique unknowingly cos I get the exact same results but I’ve been hating how it comes out glad to know I’m not the only one!! now I’m off to fix it hahahahah

Berchy Zgb: I do that in smaller sections, I get volume and separation, and definition too

jayy.lavishhh: i feel like we alr have that curl type , so i feel like a normal wash & style would def be superior. love the vid

princesscindy60: I did this a couple times. I was told I looked like a little girl (not what I was going for) and my hair was flat no matter how much I fluff ed. Not my cup of tea.

Annanya Vijay: Pretty pretty beautiful curls!

Kendrah Martinez: 8:00 I always LOVE your tops. I need to go out and get some nice, feminine, light color tank tops. Lip combo's fire too.

Junior Chaves o Picasso de Yahushua: 8:17 Pretty beautiful curls. Very pretty results. Holy Wow

Mayaas Hassan: Beautiful curls!!

Lu!ain: WHAT that looks AMAZING i love the result

Junior Chaves o Picasso de Yahushua: 0:02 Jayme is altogether beautiful. The eyes of this woman are so mesmerizing

Adrianne: "Looking a bit like a founding father" you Crack me up Yeah i wouldn't Habs the patience for that

gabby bove: Def a technique not for every curly girl. Its not for me and my curls either. As a hairdresser as well I do think it manipulates the curls in a different direction and pattern your natural curls fall in. However, I've seen many curly girls use the technique and it seems to work for them so to each everyone's own. Do what works best for your hair type.

Terry Gore: I like the way it turned out

lngIslgirl: Great video! I think I will pass on this technique. I don't have the patience. My luck, the brush would be stuck to my hair.

RebeccaT1985: This is how I style mine but I'm not sure what you were doing with the handle trying to get it out. You like flipped or something? To get some better volume you pull the length up, not down, and twist around the handle. Smaller section are definitely needed. Should have mid eat and below, right below crown and then the top and of course do multiple in each section. I never separate curls by making sure I've got my sections good. It does take a little bit to get used to but it's been a while for me now and it takes me about 10 minutes to do everything. New techniques definitely need to be practiced for every person. I say give it another shot before throwing in the towel. Tweek it for your hair and you could get amazing results.

Elizabeth Orsillo: My hair is too short to do that. It might work if I had one of those mini brushes.

Tala Aa: I don’t know why every curly hair influencer is doing this, i like jamie, I’ve been watching her for almost a year, but the thing is this hack isnt the best to show the best denman brush results, u could try ribbon brush, i m really curious to see how it would look on you, it gives the best results whether you’re using the denman brush or the tangle teezer or any other brush

jen: hi jayme could you pleaseee try the bowl method next?

Irene Pap: Where do you buy the apple and aloe curl definer from please? I can’t find it in Australia and the shipping from overseas is around $40.

Adeleen Warbah: I have curls but my hair shedding alot in my shower or after i hope u have some tips to help for that

Rosey18: Great vid!! Jus subscribed.

♡Antonio♡: Very pretty results but im lazy lol

leeanne lester: This brush is no good for fine hair ! It rips it out & tears it i do not recommend..

Greyfeather08: I will never spend that much time on my hair. May for an event for something. Definitly not for everyday to me.

angelia: Yesss way to make fun of people with ringlets with the founding father comments

blay: never pulled out my denman brush so fast

O StaXavelli: Beautiful

Ms_sad_song: looking like a "founding father" lmao
