That'S where we at least hey y'all and welcome back to my channel, so in today's video we're going to talk about how I grow my hair with the least amount of effort, little effort, meaning this is basically what I do in my day-to-day life. Okay. So I'm a new mom. Now I don't be having time to do all the concoctions and the recipes, and you know the the you know all the extra stuff. I don't have time to do that anymore. Basically, when I say least effort, these are tips that you can just do in your day-to-day. You don't really just have to think about it. You don't have to just like put a ton of effort into it if you're busy, if you're a new mom like me, and you don't have a whole lot of time - honey yeah. This is for you A lot of the stuff. I will say I won't I'm not a doctor, so I'm not going to say 100 that y'all should do these things. These are just things that work for me in my current situation. So I'm not a doctor. Some of the stuff you should discuss with your doctor before you um, try but yeah, I'm just throwing that out there, because some of this stuff can cause certain reactions, and you know if you, if you look into it, you know if you have a certain health Condition you may not be able to do these things, so I'm just putting that out there. These are just things that I have been doing that work for my current situation. Okay, so let's just get into it first things first is your diet, so I eat a lot of protein. I eat a lot of salmon. I like quick, on-the-go, meals and so I'll. Take the salmon packs get some rice and make a salmon bowl with some Sriracha mayo and soy sauce, and that's how I eat my lunch, because otherwise my baby's screaming - and I can't I can't just whip up. You know a chef's meal every day for lunch or I would starve myself and I got ta eat, so you got ta, make sure you eat so yeah, that's typically what I eat today. I actually ate a chicken fajita Bowl. But that's that's another story. If y'all want me to do like what I eat I'll do that, but yeah I eat a lot of protein. I get my protein intake. Protein is really good for hair growth. If you didn't know, I've already talked about this on my channel several times so yeah. Just make sure you're getting your protein in I did um. I actually did a video on my channel talking about um. The foods that you should eat for, hair growth and salmon was one of those Foods. It has the omega-3 fatty acids that you need um, which is good for your hair. So just you know if y'all want to go, watch that video um be sure to check it out, but your diet definitely plays a part. So the next thing I do is I take prenatals and I'm gon na say I take prenatals because I know there's a lot of people out there who just take prenatals just to take prenatals they're good for your hair, your skin, your nails and all that um. Just ask your doctor: I'm taking prenatals, because I just had a baby and I was taking them during pregnancy and my doctor also recommended me to take them for at least a year after I give birth. So I'm five months postpartum. So I have a ways to go that I'm going to be continuing to take my prenatals, so that's also something that is I'm sure, helping my hair growth. Another thing I take is ashwagandha now I know that this is one of those things that can react with other medications. Probably I'm not a doctor, but if you do your research, you want to make sure you're. Looking into this before you start taking this um. I have the ashwagandha gummies by goalie. I believe, okay, so yes goalie. These are the ashwagandha gummies that I take um. I mainly started taking them for stress, because I was told that they're really good for um relieving your stress and I have a lot of that with a five-month-old, so um so yeah. But when I did more research on this herb um, I kind of found that it possibly promotes hair growth, blood stimulation, um and things like that. So just look into it. I'M not telling anyone to go out and take this. I'M saying this is what I do. Um, I don't know 100 if this grows your hair. I just know what I've researched and I've researched that it can promote hair growth. Um I've been starting to see a lot of hair growth, so I'm just letting you guys know everything that I do as of late. Okay, so we are gon na take a commercial break to discuss genetics. Okay, so I know a lot of people comment on my you know: posts and stuff. Oh, it's genetics. It'S genetics! That'S why our hair is a song. Yes, okay, we are going to just go ahead and throw this out there. Genetics do play a part in your. The length of your hair in your hair growth, okay, this is true. However, I do a lot of other things, um that can be contributing to my hair growth, so I just want to make sure I let y'all know all of these other things, because I'm trying to put the girls on okay, I I want us all to thrive And have long hair so and take care of our hair, and so I'm just letting y'all know. Yes, I'm sure genetics plays another part in my hair growth, but there's other things that I do. Okay, so next thing low maintenance and when I talk about low maintenance, I'm saying so. This is what I do lately. I'Ve been doing. A blowout as y'all have probably seen me. Do my blowout. Do my heatless curls, I do a blowout and then I try to make that stretch for about three weeks to a month and then every night or every other night, pretty much every night doing my heatless curls I do some type of heatless curls y'all see me Unwrap the you know, do the videos unwrapping the heatless curls? I love my bun curls. I do the sock curls just just heatless curls, okay um. I feel like that really really really helps um in terms of the health of my hair, because I'm not every day putting heat on it. I did recently straighten my hair, maybe a month ago, a month or two ago, and even when I do straighten my hair y'all, I only straighten it once for the month. I need y'all to know you cannot put heat on your hair every single day. It will break off. You will not grow hair. You won't retain length. Let'S put it that way. So um your hair is going to break off, probably so yeah. When I straighten it. I straighten it once for the month and then I make it stretch for that month or at least try to make a stretch for that month. So low maintenance is also a part of not really shampooing that often it kind of just plays into my lifestyle. Right now, right, I don't really have a lot of time so wash my hair for the month straighten it making shirts for the month or wash my hair for the month. Lately I've been blow drying it to put even less heat on it. Yes, I'm putting heat on it, but it's less heat than the straightener. So I've been doing this blowout with my heatless curls. That'S my go-to hairstyle! Okay. I guess this kind of goes into what to my last tip, just stop using excessive heat. If you straighten your hair, if I straighten my hair and it gets frizzy within the next couple days, I'm doing some heatless curls. You know what I mean like it is: what it is, I'm not going to straighten my hair and burn my hair off every other day. I straighten it and then I just let it be what it is and if it gets frizzy I try to work with what I have. I don't try to manipulate the hell out of my hair Okay. So so that's pretty much all I do y'all. I just don't have a ton of time anymore, I'm doing things that I can just you know more easily see growth but uh without having to. I can't just you know: wake up on a Tuesday and just be like I'm gon na spend all day putting time into my hair. You know, like I, I kind of have to just plan these things out and doing the blowouts doing the heatless curls works best for me, so yeah y'all, that's really it. Those are all the things I'm doing currently to grow my hair, let's just interject, let's, let's just see where the hair is at - let's, let's see where she's at okay, so we're gon na take a piece. My hair is really growing, since I last cut it two two years ago, yeah two years ago. I hope that's not a lot, I'm pretty sure it was two years ago and if y'all can see she is well. My pants are kind of like at a high waist, but if y'all can see, she is down at my butt again y'all. So that's where we at um. I just wanted to do that. So y'all could see. You know where, where we're at the progress with everything. So that y'all can understand so that y'all can understand and see how much my hair is gone. I'M sure y'all know how much my hair is going, because I get so many comments from y'all saying: oh my gosh, it's grown so fast. As always. I really hope you all enjoyed the video, don't forget to subscribe and I'll see y'all in the next one. Bye
