Can Natural Hair Products Be Used On Relaxed Hair?? Ft. Dollar Curl Club Hair Products

Hey everyone, so in this video I'm going to be showing you guys how I got two different hairstyles on my relaxed hair using natural hair products. Let'S get started so I did receive these products from a company called maintain it's by um Dollar Club. This is their maintain collection and they did send me a shampoo, a conditioner, a leave-in conditioner and a curling cream. So for the next few seconds, I'm just going to give you an up close of each and every bottle the description and the ingredients list. In case you want to pause it and I'm also showing you what the consistency of the product is laughs all right. So here we are starting with dirty hair. I definitely need a good hair washing. So I'm going to tell you a few of the things that I did like about the shampoo for one: it is sulfate free. So if you don't want a shampoo to strip your hair, this is awesome for that. It does contain coconut oil, which my hair really likes. It smells kind of like uncooked, oatmeal um it Suds pretty easily, and it also had my hair feeling pretty soft and moisturized it rinsed out easily and definitely a little goes a long way. So those are just some of the things that I liked about the shampoo right here. I let the deep conditioner sit in my hair and some of the things that I like about. It are that it has a nice clean scent. It helped my hair feel moisturized. It was easy to spray across my hair and it contains mango seed, butter and olive oil, which my hair loves. So now I'm going to add this leave-in conditioner to my hair that I always use, because I always like to use this and then I'm going to use the leave-in conditioner that I receive right here. Some of the things that I like about this are that it contains olive oil, castor oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil hydrolyzed wheat protein, which is awesome, awesome products for good moisturization. It has a really smooth texture. It doesn't seem like heavy on my hair at all and it had like a light scent like a cucumber, and it helps me to easily detangle my hair. I also forgot to tell you guys really quickly about the conditioner, that it does have vitamin e in it. It doesn't have any silicones if your hair doesn't like silicones and it was really easy to rinse from my hair. So right here I just show where I apply some heat protectant and I'm actually blow drying my hair out now my hair is nice and clean and soft, it's still movable, as you can see, so now, I'm going to get ready to flat iron. My hair foreign foreign foreign, so, as you can see, I use all natural products on my relaxed hair and everything turned out just fine. So sometimes I really do believe it's more about your Technique than the actual product that you use so now. This right here was actually a few days later, when my hair had got old. So now I'm ready to use the curl defining cream and since I do not have natural hair, I had to um do something different, so I'm actually going to do a braid out on my relaxed hair and see how it does with this curl defining cream. So, just showing you what it looks like the texture is really smooth kind of slippery. I'M basically just going to separate my hair in different little sections apply the curling cream, I'm going to braid it up. I'M gon na sleep with that overnight and then I'll show you guys what it looks like the next day, foreign foreign foreign, so that one braid at the top right here. As you can see, I definitely should have spread that into two separate braids, because it made the wave be a lot different than the other braids, because it was one big braid, but other than that the product did really good on helping me to set my hair. I just should have like made that into two braids instead of one, so I'm just going to make a simple little hairstyle right here, I'm just going to basically flat twist the front of my hair to pin it out of my face and let the back just Hang down so um, that's pretty much it you guys. I did a wash a blow dry, a flat iron and right here I did a braid out using these all natural hair products that are geared towards natural hair.
