Hey curlfriends and welcome back Today, I'm going to show you guys how to create this bun mohawk on natural hair., I'm starting off on a 1,2,3,4 $ 5 twist out using the Luster's Pink Lotion., We're going to start off by sectioning out our hair.. I'M pretty much! Just sectioning out the crown of my head to create more of a bang kind of bun.. The rest of these partings will go from ear to ear., I'm starting off with the crown first and moving from ear to ear.. I have a lot of hair and it was super hard to part on myself.. I went ahead and split my hair into two separate sections.. I separated the left side. First then the right side. Then I just joined the two together at the middle.. If you're doing this on yourself and you have super thick, hair or short hair, this method will work perfect for you.. As I get towards the back of my head, where it's more narrow., It was much more easier to part.. I decided that I didn't really want that middle bang close to the front of my head, so I went ahead and just joined the two front: sections together. Grabbing some Eco Styler. I am basing my hair.. I wanted to go for more a nice slick and sleek. Look so I went ahead and just added a little bit of Eco Styler around the base of this ponytail. Grabbing a Goody Hair elastic. I just put that into a nice tight ponytail., I'm going to continue that method throughout the entire section. You an opt for either tight or loose ponytails. For my specific hair, my hair get's super frizzy quickly. So I want this to be as tight as possible, but not uncomfortable., Using a soft bristle brush, I'm making sure to smooth down the section before I apply my Goody hair elastic just to make sure that everything is nice and silky smooth. Just how I like it.. As you guys can see here, my hair did turn white to begin with, but it dried clear.. This is pretty much just the Luster's Pink lotion mixing with the Eco Styler, but it did dry clear.. All of our sections are complete.. We can move into our actual buns. Using a butterfly clip to get everything out of the way I'm going to start with the back., I'm pretty much just going to flip the entire ponytail upward and tie it down with a regular rubber hair elastic.. I opted for rubber, hair, elastics or rubber bands for this particular part, because I wanted it to blend seamlessly.. I didn't want a really bulky. Looking scrunchy., I also wanted to make sure that I was able to take it down pretty easily.. I just wrapped it around. Maybe one or two time's at most to avoid pulling at the end when you're ready to take this hairstyle down.. Moving on to the very last ponytail I just wrapped the hair around. Any loose ends or frizzy ends. I just wrapped around the base of the bun.. That'S pretty much, it Lay down those baby hairs and you're ready to go. This style is great for any music festivals or natural hair shows.. I hope you guys enjoyed it. I love you guys and I'll see you guys in the next video
