How To Perm Your Hair At Home! |Curly Hair Tutorial | Tight Curls| (Heatless + Easy) | Branch1302

Hey guys welcome back to my channel it's branch 1902 here and I'm here with another video. I know some of you guys may be a bit annoyed with all this perm stuff, but a lot of you on my channel really do appreciate all of these pen videos. I have for you guys so I'm here to try and clarify and make a clearer video on how I do this. Also. This is a little kind of different on compared to my other videos, like my other videos, where voiceovers, but I'm gon na try and do a little live, chit chat and then speak over it. Whilst the video is playing, which kind of is a voiceover. Well, you go, I mean something different, so yeah, I'm gon na be looking at my phone to be referencing. What points I need to cover - and so if I keep looking at that sorry but yeah and also I just want to put out a big disclaimer - I'm not a professional, hair, expert or stylist. Neither is my mom. So if you guys are gon na try to send for me, please don't leave your negativity somewhere else. If you have other questions, I do not answer in this video. Ask someone else. No joking, but yeah. If you do have any queries, I don't want in this video. Maybe you should contact a professional list in hopes, find the answer for that, but all the stuff I've done in previous videos for my hair has worked fine and is evident through people wanting to see how I do it so yeah so guys. I know the pan is a chemical restructuring of the hair to change its shape. Obviously using chemicals and other features will damage your hair negatively. Well, obviously, through treatment and different oils and serums, it can strengthen hair again and heal it. So that's, as you can see, my hair has definitely been repaired and is strong again. I wouldn't recommend this to people who have weak, hair or brittle or pre bleached hair already. I would recommend this to people who are virgins. Hey just let's go so, as you guys can see, the hair that is growing out is my natural regrowth, and you can see the National hair appearing at this point. I haven't caught that bit off because I just prefer to cut everything off after the premise complete just so I know what everything looks like as well as, if I get my hair cut prior to the perm, it may get reshaped by the perm solution, and it Just may not look good so after the whole paper is done. I like to cut my hair there and then so everything is nice and fresh. So guys, as you can see, my hair is a complete mess. It'S literally tangled and knotted, so my mom is literally using a water bottle, a spray water bottle and a fine-tooth comb to detangle and section my hair, so she's just spritzing my hair, basically and combing it through gently from tip to root to detangle it and yeah. Just make sure also, I would really make reccomend you brushing your hair when it's wet or damp, because if it's dry, it's very difficult to get through curly hair and if y'all straighter, then it's fine, obviously, but my ends on my hair were cold. So obviously I would recommend you guys to have it wet because it will break your hair if you pull too hard and no one wants breakage. So now my mom is on to the sectioning portion, so she splits my hair up into four sections. So it's one. Two three four: so each is a quarter, so class is in half and then she hast the half again. If that makes sense, obviously, if you guys didn't get that off first, you get obviously pause and replay at your own will again say: that's four sections in total: that's how I'm passing like it. You guys can do different styles, I'm sure there's different recommendations on how to do. I know that the pathway that came with it, we did recommend a way of doing it. The way, my mum section that I believe is just an easy way to get even sections. So if you guys want to follow that, go ahead, okay! So now, let's just talk about the rod size I used so basically using. I use these smallest rods, which were green. They may vary in different countries, but the smallest rod I used for each curl. So getting a very thin piece of hair, I lift up using the end paper or my mum uses the end paper to localise all the hair so that basically it's easier to roll down. In one section, she holds the hair a 90 degree angle from my head. Using the end paper to gather all the hair, then she uses the roller to place it behind the end paper and rolls it back down firmly and securely. As you can see, my mum decided to do something quite weird here, which was a little twist with the fastening the rubber fasten. Obviously, you'd have to do that. My mother stone. That'S me, be extra. Basically so my mom's, if she's just gon na, continue rolling all my hair so grabbing each small section using the end paper and the panning rod to roll it all the way down until each section is complete. Okay, guys, I just want to now speak in regards to that in regards to this section and rub sizes. This is a big question. People have so I'm gon na try and concert this as my mum does it. So, let's just say, smaller thinner, sections of the hair, with a smaller rod, will give a very tight helical kinky curl, whereas using large thicker sections with the wider rod will give a much looser curl, almost emulating waves, which is also quite dope. I really wanted to do a style other, but I haven't done it yet, where it's just like really wavy hair, rather than really kinky curly has like all I have now so yeah. If you do want to go for tighter curls, use, thinner sections and thinner rods. If you want larger waves, use thicker sections of hair with larger, with a larger diameter of the rod, so again, let's get a close-up at this rolling back. So if you guys didn't get the first time, I'm just going to show you how to do it again. As you can see, my mum grabs a thin section of hair, holding it 90 degrees from my head, using the end paper to connect the hair at the top. She rolls it away down tightly and securely using the pan rod repeating this all the way down for each four sections. So if that makes sense, you basically pull it up and paper perm rod roll it all the way down, fossum securely, okay, my mom is literally just gon na repeat this. Until all four sections are complete, make sure that all of the rods are tightened, because if they're not they will be loose and it may fall, this step is very difficult. If you're doing this on your radar, I find it very difficult. I would really recommend you to get someone to help you or it's not good, to a salon and do it because trust me. It gon na be difficult. After all, the sections have been rolled using Vaseline petroleum jelly ice around my forehead sideburns and the nape area. With the loop with the lubricant to ensure minimal contact with skin so say that, basically, the solution doesn't burn or damage my skin here and all the areas that are not getting pounded using the wooden strip, provided I then wrap the unparent section so all around the Top portion of my head with the window strip, obviously, if you're doing all of your half, then you would have to go around here, so the sideburns nape and everything else. So I just want to say that I was using the schwoz are basically I cannot say this war Schwarzkopf perming kit. I got to say it, but for the insight here what it is. I really really really really like this brand, because basically they gave me everything required and papers will and strip for two winners strips actually, which is very impressive. None of the other brands. I'Ve used have come with that, as well as it is provided with a condition of made for permed hair, and I honestly thought the thing that was just amazing for them to do this. So you'd have to go out of your way to get anything else, not gon na lie. It was a bit more pricey, but you pay for what you get Nicole, that I got over very very soft and I just think the formula was a lot better than any of the other brands. So I would really highly recommend that now, following the steps, you basically followed the instructions with the solutions provided so obviously in this caviar solution, one which was like the treatment, oil, the treatment, serum, sorry, no, the treatment solution and then solution 2, which was the neutralizer. So obviously want to follow the instructions and make sure you follow the time management correctly. So using solution, one guys, my mom just ladders, each rod and make sure that everything is saturated, then looking at the time provided she'd be waited. Basically, I can't remember how long it was. I believe it was that I can't member, to be honest, I think, was thirty minutes, but if I am wrong, I'm sorry because I did do this while ago, it's difficult to recite how was, but obviously, if you are struggling, make sure you just follow the instruction Instructions provided by the pump kit so after this you have to give to the checkpoint period is when you check. If the S wave has formed, if it has you're good to go, you can rent it out. If not, you then have to wait a few extra minutes. Mine was fine, so after seeing the waiver form keeping the rods in make sure you keep the rods in you're going to want to rinse your hair and sharing that the oil solution, one is washed out. So basically, when the smell weakens after you rinse your hair you're going to want to pat dry the rods with a paper towel or a towel, and just fast in any of these rods, just to ensure that when you neutralize that they stay tight so now you're Going to want to get the neutralizer and, like the previous step, you're going to want to saturate each rod ensuring that everything is covered with the neutralizer. You have to make sure you do this correctly or the hair won't stay in a shape. So basically, the neutralizer will just reform the bonds broken by the first solution. Basically and so yeah your hair will stay cloudy with this one, so obviously saturated the hair. You again have to wait a certain time period. I would recommend not using all the neutralizer in the rods just so that when you do Ridge, how often you can use the rest of the neutralizer to ensure that you get a little scalp and everything like that. One should wait at the time suggested. You'Re gon na want to rinse out the hair this time with the rods taken out, so you can obviously unwind the rods and wash your hair with lukewarm water. Just make sure it's no shampoo or anything like that. Just literally plain water rinse the neutralizer out and use the excess neutralizer, you saved to saturate your hair again and rinse that out after after this step, then I use the conditioner provided by the kit and also by the kit and conditioned my hair. Initially, this thing makes not so good and obviously the chemicals use are quite pungent, so I do recommend you guys to use this conditioner provider because it doesn't literally make it a supersoft and yeah hey guys. So, as you can see, the perm is not completely I've. Just come out of neutralizing and conditioning my hair, so yeah just giving it a wash and I'm still laying it air dry and yeah. The curls are fantastic. I'Ve actually never used this brand before and I would highly recommend it. It'S one of the best I just like how it came with everything, literally from the cotton wool band to the came with even a conditioner, so soften the hair, which I thought was really neat and just like really good. So I'd really recommend that brand. So again the hair will stretch and neutralize over time, so I would stay away from any like hair bands or hats that you put over just to ensure the shape, isn't altered and so yeah I'll be back when my hair is cut and styled. So hey guys, this is my hair six weeks after the permite actually knows a bit late, but I to move into my new apartment and there was a lot of just congestion in terms of recording this video, but I'm here to do it now and my hair Growth is a bit long on the sides as well as the top, because that's been a while and sorry for the unfresh training little. I haven't had time to put this video as soon as it might say. Well, let's just show you my hair, so these are the calls six weeks after so that guy's is literally the perm complete. Now this is just a few pointers. This is just a few pointers on what to do after you've got got in your hip, and I know there's a lot of confusion with this hand, because people just don't understand or whatever the reason there is 0.01 do not wash your hair for at least two To three days two days: that's okay! For me, I usually do wash it out two days, but this is just to ensure you don't wash up the perm solutions, you'll just put into her your hair needs to normalize and get used to the new structure. It'S been put in so you need to avoid water contact and washing a hair, basically for at least two to two days, most important rule most important rule. Another important thing I would say, is to try and keep away from sunlight, because I've heard that direct sunlight contact can actually damage the perm as well. I haven't actually had any experiences with that, but I'm in London. So I don't know, that's probably won't be a problem for me so whatever, but literally just stay away from any contact of Sun because it can currently damage your palm and yeah. No one wants to damage them. As nice. Looking looks important step three is I avoid any like damaging type hairstyles like, for example, using like how about for a man, bun or wearing a hat, because this can inform your hair at this point, your hair is still very fragile from the perming solution. It may deform the pad when you use tight hairstyles like a rubber bands - heavens hats or something like that in the very early stages of perm in your hair, because obviously the hair is fragile. So just avoid that, because it may damage how your curls are set out, you get me good. Just basically just follow these steps guys seriously. You don't want to ruin your pan after all that hard work. So if you wan na listen, listen if you don't they're shallow! That'S all off! You comment on my first pan video on, like oh I'm gon na sweat. Oh I'm hot shower for two to three days. Disgusting. First of all, a bit of sweat on your head. Will not damage the pan, but when I say don't don't shower, I mean do not wash your hair for two to three days. Of course, what somebody of course watch Giovanni that really got me, sir. I'M hearing people saying this cup. They are just so confused like not watching ahead. Does that mean you? How wash your body? I don't know? If someone tell me, obviously not so what's your body stay clean, please just avoid wetting, your hat, that's what I'm trying to say. So if that was not clear enough, but that's what I'm trying to say yeah, I have received so many emails and messages for myself and my mom took her peoples hair at first, I thought was a bit weird, but now I'm thinking about it I may actually Be doing something quite clever in sorry, maybe on business or something I don't know if any people's hair releasing my own line of solutions or something of the sort.
