Hi everyone, so I'm minding my business today when I get a DM from a few followers with this video. If you found this helpful drop a fire emoji and check the comments, because I am having a free online training and yet another natural hair stylist that doesn't like to style natural hair in this Natural State, this is a lost art form I see and then on Top of it, you are trying to justify the use of heat by saying it's going to alleviate single strand knots, while completely omitting the fact that he does contribute to the damage and degradation of the hair. You know instead of actually hosting a class. Maybe you should like sign up for one on how to like navigate texture here without having the streak. So I don't have a problem with anybody disagreeing with me, but what I don't like is another natural hair stylist whose work by the way can't knock you on your work. Your work looks phenomenal, but your attitude and character are absolutely horrible. You don't have a real reason as to why blow drying the hair is bad. I have client after client follower after follower, who can attest that once they've taken my advice to start stretching their hair more they've seen a drastic improvement in the health of it and just overall manageability. But when, like 12 weeks ago, you was blow drying, huh cause uh ain't, this your bro. So until you can combat my reasoning with facts and intellect well, I'm not gon na talk, okay! Well, we have quite a lot to break down here. So, let's start from the beginning and dissect this one bit at a time, but what I don't like is another natural hair. Stylist who's worked by the way, can't knock you on your work. Your work looks phenomenal, but your attitude and character are absolutely horrible. So, in terms of your perception of my attitude and character, I mean it's your opinion and you're entitled to it. I I would say that it's premature, but you don't really know me. It'S irrelevant to the conversation at Handa, which is my video, highlighting the fact that you are trying to justify damaging somebody's hair simply because you lack the ability and or desire to work through someone's texture um. But I mean if I was to prematurely judge you based off of that video. I would deem you as being both incompetent and ignorant as a cosmetologist, but again that's neither here nor there. You don't have a real reason as to why blow drying my hair is bad. This is the self-proclaimed Authority on natural hair, oh child. This video gon na be longer than a minute and a half. It'S the blind, leading the blind for me. Ma'Am you're wrong. Again. There'S actually been a multitude of studies that show that there is damage related to exposure with heat one. Such Dermatology Group conducted a study back in 2011 on the hair shaft damage from the use of hair dryers. The results was rather irrefutable, as they concluded that cracks and deterioration of the cuticle was linked to both temperature and length of exposure to heat, in contrast to without heat um. Also in 2018, Purdue University student, Jason Khan examined the effects of heat on human hair as well. The study found that the use of various types of heat protectants, while aiding and protection weren't rather inconsistent with preventing permanent curl elasticity loss on African hair random question. How many people have experienced or given somebody heat damage, even though you use Heat protectants yeah? I thought as much I I thought we all knew this already, I'm just making sure there was also a rather High correlation between hair degradation and the exposure time of heat. But wait isn't this like common knowledge like don't we all know this already? Am I really explaining this to a licensed hair professional? That'S actually quite concerning how oblivious you are on this subject, but when life five weeks ago, he was blow drying. Hair cause uh ain't, this your bro, oh child. He was having a field day with this one. They her and her followers were having a field day with this one. Yes, you did see me use a blow dryer, both on myself on my beard, after rocking beard, locks for a whole year and coming them out and having fun with it. With my followers on the live to see the length and and press it out yeah, I did do that one time out the year, um, also the videos that you saw me blow drying my clients, hair are clients that actually come to get their hair, trimmed yearly. Um, so the only time we are exposing their hair with heat is that one time when they're getting an accurate cut so that I can see the damage and only cut what needs to go and not take off too much length. I'Ve also addressed this. On my YouTube channel, as well as the fact that I've addressed that he in itself is a damaging process, and I make sure that both my clients and people on my platform are aware of the effects of heat. Despite using all of these tips when implemented together will help to give you the best blowout possible, with as minimal damage as possible. Remember that heat in itself is a damaging process and offers no benefit in aiding moisture the condition or the health of the hair. As a result, heat styling such as blow drying should be done. Sparringly damage is done cumulatively and can take place over a period of time. This means that, even though you don't see damage initially, that doesn't mean that it's not occurring and with continued use, May accumulate little by little every time until it's too late. Sometimes, when you are using heat moderately and only one time a year to get an accurate cut, that's less stressful than running a fine-tooth comb through some thick tightly, textured, kinky, coily, hair and trying to get an accurate cut. I don't know you tell me which one will be more damaging sis, it's the difference between blow drying, my clients hair once a year and you blow drying their hair every time they come in and just because you have the inability to deal with texture. On top of the fact that you are still trying to justify your lack of ability to be able to manipulate and style and sculpt natural hair without being able to straighten it first and you call yourself a natural hair stylist. But you don't like handling texture, and you only offer two services for people that don't want to use heat in the hair. Yes, I blow dry all of my clients for most hairstyles, except for maybe two or three also um. I you did use the two videos where we were um our blow. Dryer did conk out unexpectedly, and our concentrator did not fit that actual dryer. So in the means of replacing it um, we had to use that um. While we were trying to find another blow. Dryer and um, you know we don't actually blow dry our clients hair. That often so, it wasn't like in immediate concern for us to go and get a new blow dryer with a concentrate her. But I mean it's cool sis I I get it I I know proper blow drying technique and not to say that it was improper, but I definitely would have preferred to use a concentrator um, but I know how to get a healthy blowout without overexposing the hair. With heat, unlike you, who blow dries your clients every time they come in so yeah, I stand by exactly what I said: um. Maybe you should sign up for a class so that you don't have to um, quote unquote, fight someone's texture and it makes it easier to style your hair. So you don't have to fight against texture, um, interesting choice of words but um yeah. That'S all people!

Monaya Desirée: I’m just confused how can you call yourself a natural hair stylist and don’t want to work with texture. She’s apart of the problem with the stigma of black hair stylists.

Precious318: Another gem dropped by an OG natural hair stylist and YouTuber. This video highlights one of the many reasons I love listening to him. You kept your composure while dropping pure knowledge (loved the studies you included). You showed people that the title of a “natural hair stylist” comes in different competencies and equipped them with information to spot out the stylist for them. If y’all want a stylist that can manipulate your natural curls, that’s great! There’s someone for you. If you don’t mind your hair being blown-out every visit, that’s a okay too. Just keep in mind that heat can damage your hair, and you can enjoy the “benefits” of stretching out your hair without heat.

Sophie K Davis: It's refreshing to see someone stand up to something that truly benefits women with natural hair. Other than yourself, I do struggle to think of a stylist that can work with textured hair without using heat to manipulate or style it.

Domonique Ciara: Strawberricurls and other “natural hair stylists” like her are the reason why I’ve never had my hair professionally done in the 10 years I’ve been natural. If you don’t know what you doing sis, just say that!!! ‍♀️

HeyMonica!: Facts , Facts, and more Facts!!!!!! Instead of listening to what you were saying, she retaliated without even giving thought to what she was saying. Some people cannot take constructive criticism and it’s sad!!!

Maaya77: For the people in the comments fighting against their texture. Your hair can be stretched without blow drying.

Vidgamechx: Whew....y'all smell barbecue?!? This was a factual ROAST with a side of RECEIPTS!! I wonder if she is gonna be upset at this one too....yikes! ❤️

Miss Mina Pina: Will she have the nerve to try to clap back after this?...To save herself from further embarrassment, I think it's best she takes her "L" on this one. You came at her respectfully and with facts...Like sis, I'm not even a professional hairstylist and knew that heat can be damaging‍♀️

mar s: Its interesting how ppl think its about technique, style or putting down another women. It's about accurate information to give to clients for them to decide. There're women who's hair have been damage with incorrect information by other (women) stylists. I think it should be addressed with facts especially by another licensed hair care/ stylist.

Mahoganyrootsstudio: Facts matter❤️. I meant to comment on your original video. I'm so glad I finally found a stylist who only uses heat when it's time for a trim. She is AWESOME! I went over 4 yrs without seeing a professional because I wanted someone who wasn't stuck on blow drying and silk pressing my hair.

MzKai: Whelp...another example of natural hair care versus natural hair styling.

Brioche Babe🍞: There are many ways to stretch hair without using heat. I never needed it to grow out my hair. After bad heat damage back in 2018, I greatly reduced my usage

Erica: I love how well you can read someone! Keeping a calm demeanor while speaking facts Sidenote- that hairstyle @7:23 looked bomb

Briana A: The amount of “natural hair” salons that only know how to either straighten or loc hair ‍♀️

random channel: Hear a love 180• is potentially permanent damage- blow drying often is going too add to dryness and will damage all hair types- but natural hair can be very fine and fragile and therefore is more prone to damage ❤ thank you for this come back. Im a hairdresser and I love natural textured hair

154angel154: THANKS for this One!!! I am ALWAYS shaking my head REAL HARD when watching one of her heat videos!!!

Rsvltdiva: Ooh child she must not know you gets folks together real quick You dragged her to the other side of town with that READ!

Michiko Nushen: He calmly laid the knowledge down wasn’t loud and aggressive at all ✨

A Dot: I love when you gather folk! Truly undefeated!!

NoMilk🍫💎: lol look anyone who constantly has to use heat don’t kno how to do hair idc! esp braids‍♀️ just say you can’t grip …

V2B2010: Classy, informative and to the point. We ❤ to see it! I can’t believe she believes that repeated heat use has no negatives to it?! OMG

Janshee: Hey for once someone didn't throw the bald insult at you that's surprising. Hope this doesn't end up like what that other YouTuber I shall not name did.

Sunflower: I’m here for this education!

Lynn J: Facts Narada, I used a heat protectant on my hair and a few strands of it still got damaged. I just pressed it 2 times by a week...not even everyday! Natural hair does not love heat excessively. You have to be careful with it!

iKandi: I have self inflicted heat damage rn. Ive been straightening my own hair years! Tension method, heat protectant, medium heat then BOOM! Out of nowhere heat damage. I think my hair finally had enough of heat. Now i have to get a hair cut!

asthyselfie: _ANYWHO, I’m so ready for your Afrikan Hair Courses! YOU ALREADY HAVE ALL THE MEANS! NOW, SIR!_

Brandy Burrows: I understand both sides of the coin. I think she is more offended by how you approached the situation. It sounded like you was saying that she does know what she is doing. We all know as cosmologists we take things personally. I think it was your approach. This was informative though.

ForbsieLaLa: This whole use heat protectant doesn't fly with me because it is not fool proof. The only heat that goes to my hair is the blow dryer (every 1-2months)but my stylist does not use max heat, She understands my hesitancy to use a flat iron because they last time we did it my hair would not revert and we had to let it grow out and cut every month to reduce damage. It took almost 2 years to get rid of it all because I had just past shoulder length hair at the time. Every time I saw my hair I wanted to cry. I really wish they would stop with the nonsense. Some hair no matter how much protectant will get damaged. Flat-ironing is a risk, some are luckier than others.

HotCocoaBangbang: Well okay, I'm here for the intelligent rebuttal. Hopefully this doesn't turn in to another Cyndoll floating hydrogen bonds situation.

Quasar: her only recent "comment" is that picture post. It was definitely a weak end on her part and I do see the lost..she couldn't debate back. Instead , she gotta fill her sad ego. Anyway I wish her luck to challenge and "Fight" against texture. If Rada can fight against multiple textures for a neat cornrows+ so can yo- wait, never mind I don't see it happening.

Lennette Warner: It's the folks coming to her defense! She is SHADY AF on a regular! I've seen some of her posts on social media! They're worrying about you 'coming for a black woman' when she does it often! And I would never pay her inflated prices! Folks are definitely missing the point of your video...smdh!

Katrina Roc: Why would she pull up one video of you blow drying hair when most videos of you styling hair is on natural hair with no heat manipulation

Chelsea Odera: always here for a good read ♥️

Aniexo: I blow dry my hair every 2-4 weeks. I only feel safe doing so bc of the revair. I wouldn’t use a traditional blow dryer.

Jamiayla Phipps: I’m sure her followers are the same women that claim they love their natural hair, or don’t have an ounce of self hatred, but every time you ask them why they don’t wear their hair in it’s natural form the first thing to come from their mouths are I will look like a boy or it’s takes too much time. Those same women that sit in a chair for hours to get braids longer than their body and say it’s knot less so it’s not causing tension, or I wear wigs 360 days out of the year because it’s a protective style. I really have to come to terms with the fact that the collective does not care about healthy hair they care about length. That is why they will always be shambles and people will always be able to sell them a lie.

MsAsheeraA: FACTS ...I heard no lies told

JustFluffyQuilting and YarnCrafts: "fight against texture"? What does that even mean? Next.

Nina Cardoza: Come on nowwww!! She tried it . It took 20 seconds for you to shut it down when you first started speaking. Rada knows what he's talking about and came with receipts. Now check that!

Kalliesha Harvey: Just got heat damage from a stylist and she used 2 heat protectant on my hair...i have to be using olaplex 3 and 0 to see if it can come back

Nevaeh: Look at you getting into it with other stylists again

Tam: Did I just hear her say "fight against texture" ? Really! Are we back to this foolishness?

Bad Billy TV: Playing the Game of Power I see, well played sir, well played .

b4glady: You cleared her!

Jasmine: Our boy came with the facts today!

Erika Bowers: The truth hurts ‍♀️

M I: I Love your content❤

Constantina46: When he brought out those sources … her argument is null and void.

T G: First thing I do always is Hit the LIKE button.

Katrina Ward: Why we gotta be on the internet bashing each other…if she’s wrong that’s between her and her clients ‍♀️

CaliStar3 : Phew! Rada knows how ta roast'em, don't he?!! I need ta cool off.

Miss Yvette: Preach!….. I mean “Teach”!

Seren Blodwyn: Very interesting comments. I would like to hear any comments you may have on the Dyson hair dryer being used on natural African hair ? Apologies If you have previously addressed the Dyson topic, I have just recently found your channel and I am working my way through your episodes. Thank you.

Denysha Dials: *cough cough* it’s too much SMOKE ️SOMEBODY CRACK A WINDOW get some air up in here ‍

cwnj40: FACTS!!!!

Eric Nelson: At least she gave you credit on your work...

Toria Kabun: Well said!

Jasmine Ogunyemi: Not yall coming on here saying that he shouldn't say anything negative when she's giving negative information. Yall sound like the people that was saying Covid isn't real

Amanda Richardson: come through with the scientific evidence!

Michelle H: girlll look at her she tried it!! Snap snap

Janel J: A read

Somethingminusme:

C D: Guess you told her....mic drop‍♀️

HappyKeepin ItNappy: 2:38

b4glady: A lot of black women have deep rooted issues with black men, especially gay black men! If this was a popular caucasian hairstylist she would be thankful for the attention.

CurlyNella1011: Damn Narada

Quatisha James: My natural hair can withstand the heat. It's thick and coarse and sometimes I need the heat in order to make my hair more manageable.

Tonisha Smith: SMH!!!! Why are you worried about what she’s doing?

pinkkitty68: Why attack each other? There are different ways to skin a cat and if everyone's clients are happy, what is the issue?

Samantha Gigax: Wow! It be our own ppl that come for us. This is so sad. You could have had a private conversation with her with your criticism. The sister don’t have bad intentions. To do this publicly is super bad karma dude.

shernica fields: Can y’all stop now, y’all both made a point

A F: This is truly sad to watch. Is this not Black History Month? This guy chooses violence with his own people to prove his POV when everyone as a professional have different techniques when styling natural hair textures. Truly a shame to watch this continue. Hopfully this stylist gets whatever he is looking for.

Beth Lanai: Clout chasing is real. I've known Strawberri Curls for years trust me she knows what she's doing and talking about. It would be better if you would have reached out to maybe collaborate. But you started with negativity.

Tia Evans: I'm trying to figure out why her clients and style was any of your concern to begin with? I'm pretty sure that's the lack of business character that she speaks of. Like why even come for her? You speak on men putting other women down yet HERE WE ARE.
