Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so in today's video I will be showing you guys how I do two different versions of a flexi rod set. So whenever I do flexi rod sets, I start off with air dried hair actually washed. My hair with my Qi, shampoo and conditioner, and I air dried it in front of the fan so before inserting the flexi rods. I like to go over my hair once more with my wife to comb just to ensure that I don't have any knots or anything like that in my hair. So in today's video I am using the motions, critical protection and repair anti breakage moisturizing cream. After going to the salon and seeing them use motions in my hair and getting really nice results, I wanted to try out a few of their products, so I'm starting off with this one and o-m-g. This product is super lightweight and it gives my hair incredible shine, which you guys will see later on this video but yeah. This is what I'm using after I'm done, applying the cream to my hair. I apply three to four pumps of regular water. Just plain old water to my hair, I actually pump it into my hands just to ensure that I don't over drench the sections of my hair and then they not dry for the next day when I'm ready to take all my flexi rods. So I just keep repeating this method throughout my hair, as I keep inserting my flexi rods, there's no particular way in which I insert my flexi rods. I kind of insert them as if, though, I'm putting in a fair roller. But of course, when I get to the roots, I kind of twist it around just to ensure that it stays you know on my roots and it's nice and secure when it comes to flexi rod sets I try to leave them. In my hair at least six hours, it's normally eight hours, but at least just to ensure that my curls or my waves last throughout the day so for this first version of the flexi rod set, I actually use 22 flexi rods in my hair, which is crazy. I can only do this method when I have a lot of time on my hands when I'm not tired and I'm not lazy. I would use this method when I want my curls to be a lot tighter and smaller, but I do prefer the second method, because it's so much easier and it still used my hair, big and bouncy. So if you guys are interested in seeing how I achieved the second method keep on watching this video, I really love doing flexi rods because they last throughout the humidity and my curls last throughout the humidity. That is, and I find that they're like super easy to sleep, wait in comparison to hair rollers, so it's the next day, it's time to take these babies down and similar to how I applied them. I just take them out: there's no real method to doing this. Just ensure that you're gentle, when taking them out so you don't, you know, snag on your hair and cause any kind of breakage or anything like so to loosen up my curls, I prefer to not loosen them up one by one using my fingers. I prefer to just bend my head over and shake them out. I don't shake my hair too much, because if you shake your hair too much, of course you can create a hot frizzy mess, but just kind of shake them out loosen them up and the results are beautiful, as you guys can see, a lot of the curls Are still quite tight and impact. So at this point, if I wanted to, I could have gone ahead and use my fingers, which is a tad bit of oil, to loosen up the curls and you know, create a bigger, fuller, hair and much much smaller, curls or waves. Because I was getting ready to go to work and I did not want to look like I just stepped out of a hair magazine or something like that. I decided to try to tame my edges kind of just tame, my hair a bit overall and a bit later. You guys will see that I did switch up the hairstyle just to get some of my hair out of my face and to make my hairstyle what I consider a tad bit sleeker and more work appropriate. So I did not do this on camera just because after getting up and looking at myself in the mirror a few more times, I was like no, my hair is just way too big for work, so I needed to do something with it. So what I did was, I got some hair pins and I just pinned one half of my hair toward the back and I moved it down using my hairbrush on the other side, I just got some bobby pins and pinned the curls that were on the side Of my face away from my face, ok guys so for the second version of my flexi rod set the only thing that I do differently is I only insert ten or less flexi rods in my hair, not twenty, two or more. The reason why I wanted to show you guys this set is because you really really don't need a whole lot of flexi rods to achieve a really nice set to me personally. Flexi rods are great when done using big sections of hair, the bigger sections of hair that you use to me, the more body and bounce you get out of your set, so I just prefer this version over the first version. I also like that the curls are much much looser. It has a more beachy wave to it and I just really like the second version more, especially because it's way less time-consuming. So after you guys are done watching this video, let me know below which set you tought was nicer. If you saw a difference in any of the two, let me know what you guys think about my method and let's just talk about the incredible shine and that my emotions, critical protection and repair cream gave to my hair. I mean oMG and I am comparing this cream to my mega growth lotion, because you guys know how much I array about mega growth and let me tell you, motions motions - is doing the damn thing. My mega girl lotion definitely moisturizes my hair quite well, but it does not give me the amount of shine that this motion is giving me and it definitely is a bit heavier than this motion scream. So there you guys have it I'm giving you all a review and a tutorial all-in-one technique later. So to loosen up my curls again, I bend my head over and I shake shake shake them out. I don't know if you guys can see it, but the curls are much looser this time around. I feel that with the previous set, when I did my curls but a lot of flexi rods, there were so many tiny curls that manipulating my here, any bit created almost like frizz. It almost made the curls frizzy because they were just a lot of small curls, but right here what I have after shaking out my hair is just really bouncy soft beachy waves, and I love it so much so. Just to give you guys a little close-up of my hair and again point out that shine, and this is no oil added, just freshly washed and detangle hair, and I applied my motions, critical protection and repair cream. This is not an ad, but motions call me. I am loving this product and I can't wait to try some more you
