Hey guys and welcome back to my channel that is literally my statement. Opener, I never open the video without doing that. I don't know why, but in today's video we have got a different type of video, so I'm actually doing a hair tutorial today. So I posted this hairstyle a few days ago on my Instagram and a few, a few of you messaged me asking like how do you get your hair like that, and I told you guys that I just French braid my hair overnight and let it dry and You guys said to me that you did know how to do it, so I thought I would film this tutorial so that it could be like a beginner's guide to French braid in and how to get like a natural, heatless curls waves, whatever you want to call Them and yeah, so I hope you do enjoy this video if you do smash that thumbs up button. For me, let's see if we can get this to 50 likes and let's just get into the video, so this is obviously the result, but I'm gon na insert the footage now of me doing the hairstyle and I hope you guys enjoy hey guys. So here I am, it is the night before and I'm literally just gon na talk you through how I do my hair, so I've got this comb here, which has like a parting parting. Stick thingy, my bobby and basically all I do is just pop. My hair down the middle make sure that it is as straight as it can be just so that I've got you just so that I've got even amounts on both sides, and then I will just go through and comb my hair, so my hair is still damp. I towel dried it a little bit after I got out the shower, but it is about 60 % damp compared to dryness, so you want to make sure you're doing this on damp hair and not dry here. So I am just splitting my hair into two I've tied off the side that I'm gon na do last and I'm just combing through the first section that I'm doing I'm then just grabbing a section at the top of my head. It is about like a 2/3 centimeter section, you can do it as small or as big as you want, and all you want to do is just split that section into three so make sure you're splitting that little section that you have in your hand only into Three subsections with that strand and make sure they're, nice and even as well here is my attempt of trying to show you, but I'm clearly not not doing it but yeah. You just need to split your hair into three even sections. There we go there. I am and yeah that's basically up for now, so what you're going to want to do is grab the end section from the right or the left, it's up to you and put it over the middle strand. So it's almost replacing the space of the middle strand. Here I am messing up, so I did it again but make sure that the last strand goes over into the middle and then all you're going to do is the same thing on the other side. So make sure the last strand goes over into the middle and you basically just keep repeating that so over to the middle, pull that strand away, drop the middle strand and then over to the middle and to get the waves that I do. Every time I put the strand from the end over into the middle I'll grab some hair as I go along. So, as you can see, I am going to do the end one and I've just grabbed some hair from the back into that strand and I've just pushed it all over into the middle. So it's literally like a normal braid but you're adding hair as you go along. Obviously, if this is too technical for you, then you can just put it into a low ponytail and braid your hair from like the bottom onwards. But all you have to do is just add strands as you go along, try and make it as tight as you can, when you're doing the braids, the tighter the braid, the more wavy your hair is going to be. Mine is not the tightest, but it's not the loosest, it's kind of in the middle, because I don't like super super curly curls or super tight waves, because my hair is quite sure so you're just gon na want to carry on this process the whole way down. Your head and yeah: that's basically it for now. Also. I want to point out that, as you are grabbing these strands and adding hair make sure you brush through the other strands with your fingers, just so that there isn't any nuts in your braid, because they're gon na go all weird when it gets wavy. If there are knots in them so make sure you are just brushing them through with your fingers like you, can see and making sure that everything is as smooth as possible. As you can see, the braid is now starting to form and you can see at the top as well and yeah. This is a really nice way to get heatless, curls and heatless waves, not sure what you want to call them. Let me know down below if you think their curls are waves, but yeah. So now we are at the bottom of my hair and, as you can see everyone out of hair to pick up so what you're gon na want to do here is just braid as normal, so just go over with the last strands and push them over into The middle and just braid as normal without picking up hair - and this is just a standard braid. So if you wanted to do that, you could literally do that from the bottom of your hair. But I like to do it this way. So then, when you get to the ends or until you can't braid your hair, no more as you can see, because my hair is quite short and layered, some bits do stick out, but all you want to do is grab an elastic band. I like to use these clear elastic bands. You can get a pack of them from Primark, but these ones don't leave any ridges or like bumps in your hair. Once it's dried and I will just take that band and just tie my hair up at the bottom. I go around at least four or five times just to make sure it's nice and tight. You don't want it coming out in the middle of the night and basically taking your braids out and ruining all your hard work so make sure it is nice and tight. If you can go all the way to the bottom, then do. But if you can't, then just stop where you can and there you go as you can see, that is the braid and yeah. So I'm basically gon na go over to the other side and do the same thing. And then I will see you guys once it's done so, as you can see, that is the other side done, and I wanted to point out that if you have bits that stick out, that is perfectly fine. You'Re, never gon na get a braid perfect, but that is literally it now. I'M gon na go and sleep on it, and I will see you guys in the morning overnight, as you would have seen from the footage that you literally just watch. You would have seen me talk through how to braid your hair and how to like dim it step-by-step. I know quite a lot of people who struggle with doing French braids, and hopefully I helped you guys out and made it quite clear for you. It'S literally just split into three sections: go over each of our strands and add hair as you go along. Obviously you don't have to add the hair I should go along. You can literally start your braid from here and work. Your way down to the top half is not braided, but it's completely up to you how you do it, but as long as you apply that technique, then that you'll be able to do a successful braid. So now this is the exciting part. I'M actually gon na. Take it out for you on camera and show you how they turn out. So the time is now four o'clock: five o'clock. I woke up at twelve, I'm really lazy, and so it's had quite a few hours overnight to dry and and also at the end of the video I'll, be showing you like. The products that I use in my hair, just cuz. Some people were interested in like how to get stronger, hair and obviously because my hair has gone through like a whole process where I used to be blonde and I've grown it back to I've grown it back to my natural hair color. So it's just like how do you get your hair back to being healthy? After all that damaged design, and let me show you a few products that I have used that have really helped my hair, but this is literally the part that everyone's been waiting for. So I've just taken the elastic out. Obviously, as you can see, these bottom parts here won't be curled because they didn't get plaited, obviously because I've quite short, hair is really hard to get all the way to the end. But if you can get all the way to the end, then I'd recommend doing so so I'm just gon na take out and as you can see they have formed and my hair is nice and shiny and yeah. So you literally just take out really carefully strand by strand, and it will look a little bit crazy as you do it, but just keep going it'll be fine. So, as you can see there we go and they are honestly just like so beautiful. So yeah. That'S one side and then I'll do the other side. For you, too, if you're taking your braids out and you notice that your hair isn't dry, then I would like go over it with a blow dryer or leave it in for a little bit more because if you take it out, while your hair is down, but Then they're just going to drop out straight away, but that is that side complete, as you guys can see it's nice and curly. I mean I don't know how to define it, whether it's curls or waves and then what I like to do is just flip. It up a bit fluff it up a little bit just so that it doesn't look so put together. So I will take it over like this just mix it up just so that the strands kind of mixed together. If you don't want it big and fluffy, you don't have to do this and then just top. Obviously I parted mine and middle, so I've got a middle part. That is how I wear my hair normally anyway, and then I will just bring to the front and kind of like brush through with my fingers. You do not want to use a brush to brush through these cards because they will go frizzy. They honestly will - and this is literally it so I'll - show you from the Oh. Hopefully you could see what it looked like from the back. It is just a really nice way to get like really nice waves in your hair and obviously no effort as well, and then, if it's a little bit frizzy like it, can get a little bit. Frizzy, like, as you can see quite as you can see here, I just go ahead and I take a little bit of oil. So this is the body shop, wild argan oil, and I just put a tiny bit of oil into my hair. You don't want to put too much, but I've got the tiniest bit in my hand. You don't want to put too much because they all either way your hair down or it will make your hair quite oily. So I just take the oil to scrunch it up into my hair yeah. I don't go anywhere near my roots with the oil, because I don't want oily roots. Can it wait because I can get quite greasy hair, so I just take it up through the ends and scrunch, as you can see, yeah yeah, as you can see, this is what it's looking like. My hair is nice and healthy. It'S nice and shiny, and I have really put a lot of effort into making my hair a lot healthier. So I rarely use heat on my hair anymore and if I do use it I'll use a good hair, patek I'll use a good heat protectant as well, and you just really want to take care of your hair. So I'm going to show you three products that I've been using that have really helped my hair, so the first is coconut oil. Now, once a week, I would condition my hair and I'll take coconut oil and I'll rake it the whole way through my hair I'll leave it on overnight and then in the morning I'll wash out with my shampoo or my conditioner, but coconut oil is such a Good way to get your hair back to how you want it, it makes your hair stronger. It makes it smell, amazing makes it shiny and it helps it grow as well and my hair, I have been trying to grow it for a long time. Ever since I went blonde, it has been damaged, but I got a above cut not long ago and as you can see, it's grown quite a bit since then like, and this is wavy hair as well. It'S not even straight so. This is the coconut oil pull guard, so this is the coconut oil that I use. It'S the tropical Sun, 100 % pure coconut oil. But if you go on Amazon or Ebay or I got this from Asda, even if you just get any 100 % raw pure organic coconut oil, then it's absolutely fine and I've had this for a while and as you can see, I've not used too much, but Basically, it comes in a solid you just pop some onto your hands, warm it up. It turns into an oil and then just rake that, through your hair, like it's hair, mask leave it on overnight or only for a couple of hours. If you wanted to - and it just leaves your hair smelling amazing so yeah, I would highly recommend getting yourself some coconut oil. It'S also a lot cheaper than hair masks that you see out there now, like. I have a body shop, hair mask, which is absolutely amazing. I can't board to it to sheer butter hair mask, and that makes my hair feel incredible, but this is like a fraction of the price if you wanted a cheaper alternative and you can definitely get a lot of uses out of it as well, and it's gon Na have so many benefits to your hair, and then the shampoo and conditioner that I am currently loving is by a naughty hair care and Ally's were actually gifted. This video is not sponsored or anything. I actually I'm in love with this brand, so they do loads of shampoos and conditioners for different hair types, and you can kind of like pick mismatched shampoos and conditioners, based on your hair type as well. I'Ve got here the tough cookie, strengthening shampoo for weak and brittle hair, and this has really helped the strength of my hair. This smell absolutely incredible: they're really cheap for these sides of the bottle, their cruelty, free and no parabens, no sulfates, no silicones, so they're, really natural and kind on the hair. And honestly, this has been a godsend for me. I have tried so many shampoos and conditioners that have not worked or have not gone as well as I thought. But this is amazing and I've only used it a few times and then I've got here. The caretaker scalp soothing conditioner - and this is for dandruff prone sensitive scalps. Now I don't really get dandruff, but I do get quite a cheat on my scalp, so this has really helped to calm down that itch, and sometimes I don't get dandruff, but I get like dry skin. If I each my hair, is that dandruff, it probably is but like I don't have, I don't know what I'm trying to say, but this has honestly helped my scalp to stop itching and has it really helped me like stop touching my scalp, because obviously every time You touch your scalp, oil builds up as well, so this has been really really good and then the final thing is also by naughty hair care, and it is the caretaker scalp soothing, tonic lotion and honestly, this is the best thing I have ever had. It'S basically like an a gel with lotion, so you pop some onto your hand after you've washed your hair and you can put it on dry or damp hair, and you just rub it into scantly. If I didn't have this, I would still be experiencing like a really sore scalp and I'd be itching all the time. But the caretaker range from this company is honestly amazing. If you have a sensitive scalp, if you itch, or even if you like, use hair products, that your scalp reacts to get yourself some of this, it's so cheap for what it does, and it honestly makes your scalp so just amazing yeah. That is literally everything that I have for you today. I know I went off on a bit of a tangent about the product, but I just wanted to give you the information that you guys requested and yeah. So this is the finished hair result. If you do try this out and it does work for you, then please leave me a comment below or pop me a message on my Instagram I'll, shout you out sure and yeah that is it for this video.
