How To: Quick & Easy Ponytail Braid Tutorial | 72 Inch, No Heat, No Pins | Sleek Braided Ponytail

I wanna hey babes, welcome welcome back to my channel if you're a new hello and welcome and if you are not new, welcome back to another video. So in today's video you guys, i am going to show you guys how i got this along braided ponyta um. This braid was pretty easy and quick to do, and i'm going to show you guys what i'm using also on my hair to get the slick. A look. I like this braid. This is pretty much my casual, you know, go to um look! So if you know my hair looks crazy, i'm just gon na go ahead and throw it in like a little ponytail braid, because yeah, it's really quick and easy to do so without further ado, i'm gon na go ahead and show you guys how to do this. So let's go ahead and get started with this video, okay guys. So this is what my hair is looking like um, i washed it last night. So right now it's pretty dry, so i need to damp my hair a little bit so that i can slick it down better. So i'm just going to go ahead and add like some water on my hair yeah, so just damp it a little bit. So it won't be too hard to slip down all right. So next i'm going to go ahead and comb out my hair. So i'm not sure if i'm like a high ponytail or a little ponytail, but i don't know so we'll we'll see when i get there. So next we're going to apply some eco styling gel and no i'm not going to apply this whole thing on my hair, but i'm going to apply as much as i can to get that slick. Look because yeah! This is a big bottle. It'S like almost the same, what's bigger than my head: okay, so no we're not going to put all of this gel on my hair, so let's apply as much as we can to get that slick. Look! Okay! I think i want like a low ponytail and then don't forget the back, because the back is the part where it needs to be really slick down and then we're going to take a bristle brush and we're just going to brush it to where you want. The ponytail to be which i want it to be like a little ponytail, so i'm going to go ahead and lay down okay, so i'm also going to add some got to be um, styling gel so that my hair can stay in one place. I need to make it as tight and straight so i'm going to use one of my scratchy. This is basically the ponytail um. It'S a little pointy toes, it's not high. So since i just did the ponytail um and before i add a hair to it, i'm going to go ahead and style. My baby hairs i'm going to use this on natural edge control to go ahead and lay my baby hairs, and i got this edge control from, like my local beauty store. I'M also going to add this hairspray to go ahead and um ladle, my hair, so that my hair do not move at all and use this wrap to tie my hair so that it don't move and it can stay slick. So for the braid i'm going to go ahead and use this um type of hair right here um. This is the x provision ultra braid, and this is a pre-stretch hair, and this is a 72 inch um. I actually got this braiding hair from like my silvers from when i get my um knotless braids. So that's what i'm gon na use - and hopefully i have enough um hair to do this braid. So what i'm gon na do is make this into three. So, as you can see, this is two, so i'm gon na go ahead and mix it together, just mix them together and then kind of like separate them. Okay. So now it's kind of like cross them over cross them over. Just like this. So now i have three loops, i would say three loops, so this is what it looks like, and so now i'm going to go ahead and separate. My little ponytail right here into three. You might not be able to see, but yeah, i'm separating it into like three. So i'm going to go ahead and place the braiding hair right on top, where i have the three at so it's one right here and then two in the middle and then three on this side. So now i'm just going to go ahead and start braiding baby. So since it's kind of hard to see, i'm just gon na move it to the front and then keep on braiding - oh it's pretty long, so i'm gon na have to like stretch it out soon, as you can see. Okay. So now i'm just going to go ahead and use my scissors to kind of like cut any like of these flyaways go ahead and kind of like spread the hair um. You know like when you get that butterfly effect when you kind of just spread the hair to make it look a little bit more bigger. That'S what i'm going to go ahead and do now go ahead and use my got to be um, holding spray to go ahead and spray the hair, so we're pretty much all done with the braid. I'M just going to go ahead and take off my scarf. All done, that's all! I basically do for this ponyta. I love it's a quick and easy hairstyle um. It'S nothing too much to do but yeah what you guys think hey guys. So this is the finished look um. This is how the braid came out. I think it came out really cute and along and my hair is like enough, i think, and then you know baby hairs are slicked down. I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
