Today I Just Felt Like Getting Cute !! Full Glam 5X5 Closure Wig Install | Yolissa Hair

How Deep Is Your Love come through me hi? This is Ivy and today we're going to be doing a simple hair tutorial. Um I've been in such a rut. You guys like depression, is no joke. Okay and I've been in such a rut since uh, I would say like all of September and October just started and before I feel myself spiraling again, I said today you know I'm gon na get up I'm going to go to brunch. You know I'm gon na. Do my hair, I'm gon na, do my makeup. I'M gon na put on something cute and pull myself out of this, because when you, when you, when you look good, you feel good right. It really boosts your confidence and your mood. So today I was like. Let me you know, let me go ahead and do my hair? Okay, let me get cute so today I just did a little. I just wanted something cute, something Glam, okay, I wanted a side part with some pretty ways for this to be a five by five closure. It just looks so good hands down on my favorite wigs and this is from um your list of hair. Okay, um I'm actually going to brunch really soon. I think I'm gon na do like some long curls. You know something real cute. I have my hair in straight backs and I have on my wig grip. So the beautiful unit we're putting on today is from um your list of hair and I'll, like that, the hair comes in these um little baggies or whatever. So when you're done wearing your wig, you can store them really easily. So this is the wig okay, I'm just showing you guys, the inside um, it's a five by five lace: frontal body wave wig. I think this was like a um. It'S really long. It might be like a 26 28. I'M not sure make sure you check the description bar all the details and links and all this stuff would be down there, but yeah you guys, um closure. Wigs have been my favorite lately, they're just so easy to install it's less damaged. You know I have a low hairline, so it's easier for me to install and wear the lace when it's in a five by five closure and this wig does come with adjustable straps, which I need because my head y'all, I got a little peanut head. So I definitely um. I definitely need the adjustable bearings, so my wigs can fit nice and snug when you first get your wig guys, it's um not going to come bleach, so you definitely have to go in and bleach. Your knots - and the first thing I like to do is um lift the knots because they in processing, when they're making the wigs, I think they put some type of color or something on the units and it makes it hard to bleach the knots. So what you want to do is apply some 20 volume developer on the underside of the lace and just let that sit on the hair for about 25 minutes um wash that out. Okay, let it dry and then you go in and bleach your knots as normal. I like to use um Salon care, quick white, that's my favorite Bleach! I I don't like any other bleach for some reason. That'S my favorite one and then I use the salon care 40 volume developer and you know you just make your mixture real, nice and thick. Like toothpaste paint that on your wig and um, let that sit for an additional 25 minutes. So this is what the unit ended up. Looking like, after I was done, bleaching the knots and just by looking at it as you guys can see, it does need a little bit of plucking, but you want to be sure to not over pluck your closures and that's a mistake. I find myself making way too often um so definitely get a good look at your unit and just see you know what you want to take off what you want to keep on. Okay, it looks pretty good um. I might remove a little little bit of hair. I don't want to remove too much and I like plucking like on my head, because it's I don't know you guys, I just prefer plucking on my head. That way. I don't take off too much hair and I just grab a small piece of hair like this. Is going to be like my baby hair area right and you just take your tweezer and you just you know. Pluck that thing. That'S another thing I like about closure, wigs um! You don't have to pluck too much it's! It'S very beginner, friendly, okay, you're gon na get a Flawless look easier with the closures than you would with the frontals, because the frontals um they can still be beginner friendly, but frontals take a little bit more work and attack down my unit really quick. I'M gon na use my um ebn uh, Wonder lace, Bond adhesive spray. I love this stuff y'all like I, don't even use lace glue really anymore. I just go ahead and Tack it down and it gives me the strong enough hole that I need. This is really all I do. I just spray it and then get my placement, and now I'm just going to take my blow dryer and dry everything down. So once I'm done um doing that stuff, I'm just going to go in with my scissors and just begin to cut my lace and I am going to go back in with more um ebn. This is what we're starting with okay guys. So that's how it's looking um, I'm gon na go back in with a little bit more ebn, I'm just gon na spray it on my finger. I'M just gon na make sure everything is nice and in place and, as you guys can see um. This is a HD lace closure and it just melts into my skin um. I might use a little bit of a tint later on, but for right now, like it's so seamless, really really seamless, so we're just going to take the blow dryer and dry. This up now, I'm just going to take a little bit out for baby hair and I'm gon na. Do my baby hair um, not a lot y'all y'all know how I do my baby hair. I like to pull out hair. I like to gel it, and then I like to cut because I'll be needing to see y'all like before I go in and cut it I'll be needing to see if it's gon na give what it's supposed to give okay. So I kind of want to do like a side part because y'all, I never wear side parts foreign, so we're going to take a little bit of water and I'm just going to spray it and go back and dry it just so. It can um mold to place because it's a little stubborn, so sometime when your wig won't mow, you can just spray a little water brush it into the direction you want and dry it. So just go ahead and brush all right, y'all. So go back in with your dryer and just press it out: okay, y'all! So that's my method of getting my wig, nice and flat and getting my part you know to where I want my part. So now we're going to go ahead and move to the baby hair. Okay, you guys. So you know I like to go in with my Edge booster gel okay, so I just like to take a little a little little bit and then I'm gon na um just place a little bit at the edge and then kind of like just naturally brush down What comes down like I said I don't want these baby hairs doing a whole lot of and I'm gon na um go back and cut after I see you know. I have the amount that I want you can do as as little or as much baby hair as you like. I just I don't know y'all like to keep the baby hair kind of I mean I like the baby hair, but I guess I like it kind of at a minimum, because I feel like too much baby hair. Just really, I don't know y'all, I feel like it kind of cheapens your unit, and it's just I don't know it just make it look so, like I don't know, like kind of fugazi, definitely be aware of your baby hair, okay and I'm doing it a little Different today my baby hair - I usually always swoop it the other way, but I'm you know I'm gon na do something different. I like to you know, get it down and then I'll go back and cut. Y'All didn't see me. Do this a hundred times all right! Y'All, so that's pretty much it on the install and since I'm going to a brunch y'all, I think I want to do um like some cute wine curls or something something really. So I don't know y'all some just something real cute. Okay, because I've been in a rut, y'all - and I said, let me let me get my booty up - do my hair, do my makeup and stop sitting up in this house crying. You know. So this is the baby hair y'all. My next little trick, I um I've been liking to put my tent on while it's on my head. I know that's a little weird, but I'm about to show y'all. So what you want to do is just shake your tent up. I'M using um the bowl hold uh special edition, lace, tint and light brown okay, so I just y'all just spray a little bit now we're gon na take our dry and dry. It y'all see how that just removed that white cast like that fast yeah. I do it like this, because when I spray tint before I do my um lace, spray it'd be like making a residue. So I'm gon na put a little bit of powder in the little thing right here, because it's a little dark. Sometimes you can skip this step, but I just feel like it's a little. It'S really dark so because I don't have on a cap or nothing, I don't like wearing wig caps and stuff yeah. I do not like wig caps y'all, I hate them. Actually, I still do some of the old school methods when it comes to hiding my knots or whatever, because I I don't know y'all. I can't I can't take all this stuff on my head. I already got on them the lace, wig, okay. I think it looks really y'all. This wig looks super good. Like I love how it looks, I love how it's turning out and the hair. You guys is so long and it's so soft, like the hair, is super soft um. I I kind of don't want to curl it, but I'm gon na curl it I'm gon na curl it I'm curly. I just I really like the density of the wig. It'S it's super cute and I think I just been wanting some straight hair for a minute because I've been wearing curly hair. So I put my hair into sections. We'Re gon na do some big barrel wand curls. If you guys been following me for some time, um I've had this curling wand for so long. This is a new me knew me like yeah yeah, I'm an OG. Nobody uses new me anymore um, but this is just my new me three in one curling wand. You can use anyone, you have and um you just want to take small pieces of hair and then roll it be careful not to burn yourself. The hair did come in body wave curls, I'm using a big barrel just so it can. Um definitely give us that pretty wave the hair is super easy to curl, like I'm not having any issues with it. It'S super soft and it's holding the curls. So pretty once I'm done with this side, I'm gon na do this one off camera and then I'm gon na come right back because when I, when I do all my curls on camera, I move a lot slower and I have to be gone by 3 30.. It'S 1 45. I still have to get dressed. Okay, you guys. So this is one side curled, as you guys can. Oh, I forgot a piece as you guys can see. The hair is super shiny, so I'm gon na go ahead and curl this side and I'll be right back. Okay, you guys so I'm done with the curls, and I'm just going to take my fingers and just kind of separate them just a little bit. I really like this wig. It is so cute um, it's giving sew in it's giving silk press. It looks really natural. It looks like it's my hair, okay, so I'm just saying y'all. This wig is perfection. It is so freaking nice. This hair is so soft um. My Curls dropping a little bit, but it don't it's. Okay, the the hair is just so soft. It'S not tangling. It'S not shedding. Okay, you guys, so my freaking microphone died, but I am done with the hair um. This is my third time filming the outro. So bear with me definitely hands down on my favorite wigs. I really like the texture of the hair is so nice and soft. I knew I would have this sort of loose wavy type of look going on y'all. I just love it. It'S so seamless, okay, everything! Okay, you guys don't understand, sometimes just getting up doing your hair and makeup and putting on a cute outfit and just going into dinner, or lunch really can boost your. It really can boost your mood. It can boost your confidence like if you're going through depression or going through. Something like I am in my life, simple things like this really make me feel better. Just when I could look in the mirror and be like okay he's, the guy he's still cute. It really helps uplift, my spirits, and I really hope that helps some of you guys as well um but yeah. You guys.
