I need you, I need you, hey guys, hey fam, what's up welcome back to my channel and welcome to a new video if you're, seeing my face for the first time hi my name is special salty spicy, salty sprinkle, salty light. So we're going to do a quick short video for you today and it's my hair care, routine. Okay, my simple hair care routine for my teeny weeny afro. I got, I think, maybe two or three requests about this video, and I also just wanted to film it myself and just show you guys what I do and how I take care of my hair. Okay, because your hair is short because your hair is natural. Does not mean that you shouldn't take care of her hair, so I have a few products that I use. As I'm doing my hair, you guys just saw me wash my hair some as I'm getting my hair spruced up. I'M just going to talk you through what I do, if you're interested in learning how to take care of your hair, because this actually applies to longer hair as well. Please keep on watching, okay, all right so guys. The first thing I would say is that learn your hair texture. What does your hair like and what does your hair look like? Okay, my hair likes water, it likes moisture, it loves hydrating, okay and my hair. I don't know if you guys can see. Let me come a bit closer. My hair is about 3a3b texture when it is damp. Okay, so I know the texture of my hair. I know what it likes. I understand that my hair is better when it's wet and curly, because when it's dry, it's very brittle - and I understand where I'm coming from okay, I'm coming from postpartum shedding I'm coming from a lot of hair loss. So I know that I need to keep on rejuvenating my hair taking care of my hair. I don't love that good stuff. Okay, so let's walk you through it, let's get to it! So I'm out of the shower I washed, I conditioned my hair, so I washed my hair, as you guys saw with this and Jack his heads up. This is actually the kids version. I bought it for my kids, but I realized that it was not tear free and they were oh, my God, the first thing they used. They said they cry was not here. I didn't know because I just assumed, because it was kids that was going to be fine. So no it's not fine for kids, please unless you use the hair thing where the the water doesn't touch their face. So but I use it and it's lovely um. It'S a moisturizing and softening and post a lot of the times. I don't even always need conditioner with this, but today is Saturday - and you know, I've had my hair all week: I've um, don't co-wash, I've put activator, I've put edge control and all of that so I felt like I needed a deep condition. So I used that a deep wash. Rather I used that and then, when I was done, I used the and Jackie and Jackie. This thing is a miracle not on my watch when I had longer hair with my wigs everything I use this. It is such an easy detangling mechanism and you don't even have to wash it out, but sometimes I like to wash it out, especially on days where I know I'm going to put more products in my hair. Okay. So I use that this and that, but on other days for shampoo and conditioning I have this mega growth. I got this when I still had long hair long relaxed hair. I saw a lot of hype about it. I love this shampoo because it's really tingling and the condition conditioner and the conditioner actually softens as well plus. This is anti-breakage. Okay, it says anti-breakage, so that was why I went for it. My hair was breaking off a lot at the time. So yes, this is good. I recommend this especially this shampoo. I really like the feel it gives me it's like it's opening up my pores and it's not tingling anymore, and all of that, so I like this. I really like this okay, so that's that for shampoo and conditioner. So typically, when I'm out of the shower, I either use an oil or I use the leave-in conditioner. That'S this one and just put it in my hair to soften it or I use shea butter. Okay, guys shea butter is Magic. Generally speaking, so I have this whipped shea butter that I just put a little bit on my hair, because, even though my hair looks moisture it to get the definition, I want I typically like using like a cream okay. I have this children's cream. I normally use. I use a lot of my children's products because I feel like for Virgin. Hair is nice and then and then I also use an oil. So I have this uh and Jackies. You guys can tell I'm a fan of one Jackie's repair, hair, Argan Oil. I also have an avocado oil, but I don't know where it is right now, but this one is really really good. So I just put a bit a tiny bit on my palm and just go through my hair. I said a tiny boot, but I put some more than a tiny bit and just you know saturate it and all of that just get it done. I don't do this every day today that I I washed you know, and I stripped the hair of all the oils and I use conditioner and all that I like to do this to just massage my scalp and just get it in there, because everything is anti-breaking. This is supposed to enrich um, it's also anti-breaking, to help with dry hair and scalp it's enriched with Jamaican black, castor oil revives and conditions chronically dry scalp guys. I had a lot of dry scalp. At some point I had like it wasn't dandruff some something like Sora like psoriasis or some kind of like you know, dry scalp. So I use that as well. So when I'm done with that going for my activator guys, I have really curly hair. So I like it to be curly, okay, and it helps me to be managed, because when my hair is like this, it looks a bit rough. It comes off as, like you know, it doesn't make me look neat right, so the activator I use is this Hollywood. One, a Hollywood curl gel activator uh. That'S it bonus size, 25, free, it's, a simple activator! There'S nothing much about it like it's, not special or anything, so any activator would actually do any activator will actually do so. What I do a generous amount, because you need to coat your hair completely with this a general generous amount. I put it on my hair like this like enough, like literally get it in there, you can see. I hope you guys can see what my hair looks. Like okay, I'm coming closer now, so you can see so it has coated it and actually activated the curls truly like it really has. So you can leave it like this, but I don't do that because uh you know, I'm me and I like to you know, will get it across everywhere. I like to get it spread like evenly distributed. That'S the English I said, get it spread and also I don't come forward a lot of people comb their hair forward. No, I don't want it for free. I don't want that. Afro look um not today anyway, because like this is what I do typically for a work week unless I'm wearing I'm wearing my wigs, so I come back all the way back right. Sometimes I do a part if I want to actually I could do this, even though the part doesn't really stay, but I could give it like a like. You know um, what do they call it shape the hair shape, so you can see that it has this side thing going on. So I do this. Excuse me, I'm looking somewhere else. Please forgive this video okay. So this is how I style my hair uh typically, and then I go for edge control. I usually use the Eco Styler gel this one is the professional argon oil strength 10. So it's actually really like strong. It actually really holds my edges, but quick one with this like if you use it too often it's going to leave some residue, so I just do this with the edges. You know just try to give it like a Sleek. You guys know I'm a lawyer, so I'm always in a professional setting, even when I go out and all of that I just like to - I don't know I just like to be put together, so you don't have to do this, you really don't have to do It I just like to do it so just click here Sleek here just decide, then brush up the front like that so yeah, and this is how I care for my natural hair. That'S literally the video guys. This is all the videos uh. So this is it. This is what I do but um for Extra Protection. Let me wash off my hands and come back a bit. Okay, so guys! Yes, I'm back, and so this is literally what I do to my hair. I hope you can see it. I try to Pat it down to make it like, even and all that good stuff. Let me turn around so you can see the back okay now you're everywhere, so guys. As I was saying on days where I need extra love on my hair, I'm a bit extra actually because you guys will think that you know afro and all that stuff. But on this way I need on this way. I need extra love. I have this and I have this deep conditioner for both of them. This is hair mayonnaise, I'm sure if you're an African-American Nigerian black person, you know this this product, it's amazing, so I use this to uh treat my hair, and I use this for deep conditioning. The micro growth one - I don't know if you guys can see this is how I take care of my hair, so it gives it extra love, extra treatment, Extra Care mega growth, deep conditioner is actually anti-breakage and strengthening, restore and repair so guys, I'm actually like. I'M not sure if I'm growing up my hair to be very honest with you guys, I'm not sure but um at this stage. I don't want to cut it for now. I don't get another haircut, so I'm trying to maintain it and I'm trying to maintain, because I still have a bit of breakage. So this helps sometimes I usually do this on Saturdays put it in there with a hair um. What do they call it shower cap and get it going to like a deep condition and just go about my day a little when I rinse it out so yes, guys having short hair a teeny wedding. Afro is one of the most amazing things to me. Actually, you can just hop in the shower, you know get your hair done, get it washed like get your hair washed, even if you have to sometimes do you know that so guys you know. Sometimes I don't even put any product in my hair, like I just pulled her on my hair and I go or I just co-wash it and I go if I want it to be extra soft some days I actually don't wash my hair because I don't think You should work on your hair every single day, so something I don't even wash my hair. I just like leave it out, but it's always more difficult to comb when there's no water there's no moisture in my hair. So this is what I do for my hair. I hope this video has helped someone. I hope that you know just give you guys like an idea of what I I do for my hair and how I try to take care of my hair. So if you enjoyed this video, please leave me a thumbs up in the thumbs up section. I share this video with your friends and don't forget to subscribe, actually and I'll see you in my next video. If you have any like routine videos, you want me to film any personal, self-care videos. You want me to film, please let me know and I'll do that for you, okay, I don't forget this video, these tips. You can also use them for your regular, like natural, long, hair, short hair, even relaxed hair. Some of these products are so versatile. You can use it for anything. So yes, this is how I get my hair done. So look at just look at if I was going on that don't wake up. I did everything just Dazzle, Razzle Dazzle you guys what okay, okay and the last thing I'll just say on this is true that you just have to know that hair guys hair is mostly about jeans. So it's not everybody's hair. That'S going to be like this! No matter the product you put, it cannot call like this so just know the type of your hair not know the kind of hair texture look, the kind of like the porosity and all those English that they used to speak all the things that work for your Hair and do that: okay, even your food, even your vitamins, okay, I take biotin, I take vitamin C. I take vitamin B3 and zinc and all of that stuff, so that also probably helps with the hair health and all of that to even my nails. Since I don't know, if I told you guys, I get uh infections when I fix my nails, I don't know if you guys can see this one. So I started taking vitamins to help and the nails have been growing back as long and beautiful as ever. But yeah, so vitamins are also a game changer, okay, so anyway, thank you guys for watching.
