READ THE BIBLE WITH ME! I am currently do the reading plan, "Reading God's Story: One-Year Chronological Plan" - http://bible.com/r/12

In today's episode of reading your Bible in a year we talked about long hair in the Bible and specifically the Christian man can have long hair. We discussed the Nazarite law that was set up in the Old Testament, and how we can apply that to the New Testament. We also talked about the possibility of the Apostle Paul having taken the Nazarite vow and therefore having had at one point growing his hair out long. This story is found in the book of Acts 18:18.

Can christian men have long hair? Obviously i think you know my answer to this, but i want to give the biblical reason why i think that a man, especially a christian man, can have long hair and not be sinning. Hey welcome back to day 57 of reading. Your bible, in a year, if you didn't know, my name is logan maddox, and this year i'm reading through my entire bible in the here with you, with the hopes that we grow in scripture together. If you want to get started, then there's a link to the playlist with all the videos in the description and there's more information about the specific bible plan, i'm reading and so on. So without further ado, let's hop into numbers chapter six and today we read numbers chapters: six through nine, there's a lot in here, so i'm mainly going to be focusing on chapter six, which is the nazirite law. So what is a nazarite? And what is what does this mean? So an asteroid is someone that has taken a vow in order to show their basically allegiance to god, they're doing something that is a voluntary step to look different than the other people of israel in a way of honoring god. So what did they do? They didn't cut their hair, they didn't drink, strong fermented, alcoholic drinks, they didn't eat from the grape vine and they wouldn't get around dead bodies and the purpose of them not cutting their hair was so that people could clearly see. Oh, that person is under the nazarite valve because they don't cut their hair. That was the purpose of doing it. Now there was multiple ways to enter into this one as an adult i could go to the temple or the tabernacle and say i want to take this vow in front of god for 60 days 120 days one year, and i would vow to not do those Things i just mentioned in order to show my allegiance to god and to honor him, and that was a way. This is a way of honoring god. I would bring sacrifices and there are multiple steps. I could also my parents could make me a nazarite from birth, which is what we've seen the story of samson in the book of judges. Now a kid that's born into it. They are an azerite till they're 13 as a boy or 12 as a girl, and then, after that they can choose whether or not they're going to be a lifelong, nazarite or they're going to end it at that age and they would bring the sacrifices to end. It and today's jewish culture, because they don't have the temple or tabernacle, to sacrifice that, if a jew today, which some do choose to make the nazarite vow, that means they will take it for their entire lives. And there are some customs about how they can cut their hair once a year that way the weight of it isn't going to be overwhelming for them, so typically a modern jew. They would take this. They might cut their hair once a year and they wouldn't drink. They wouldn't get around dead bodies to honor god in this way. So let's apply that out into the new testament because a lot of people they criticize i've had personal criticisms by many people from a verse in first corinthians, first corinthians, chapter 11, verse 13 judge for yourselves. Is it right for a woman to pray to god in public without covering her head? Isn'T it obvious that is a disgrace for a man to have long hair and isn't it obvious and isn't long hair, a woman's pride and joy for it has been given to her as a covering? But if anyone wants to argue about this, i simply say that we have no other custom than this and neither do god's other churches. This is a very bold statement and when you read this one verse here, it seems that we shouldn't have long hair, but then paul is directly contradicting the nazi nazarite vow and we actually see this further in acts 18. I believe that paul took this vow upon himself. This is kind of a discussion among the church. Some people believe based off the translation, that it's obvious, that he took this vow and others believe that he's talking about something else here, i'm going to read it for you, and hopefully you can make this decision for yourself. This is acts. 18 18. paul stayed in corinth for some time after then, he said goodbye to the brothers and sisters and he went to the nearby centuria there. He shaved his head, according to jewish custom, marking the end of a vow. So to me, how could paul take the nazarite vow grow his hair long and then say it is unfit for a man to have long hair, clearly he's talking about something that is affecting the corinthian church in this time period to these people that he talks a Lot in here about sin and how it causes people to stumble. If i were to be called into a culture where i'm ministering to people where my hair is going to cause them to come to stumble, then i'll cut it off. But i don't feel as if my hair is causing people to stumble. I don't feel as if it's not right. My second question to you is: if you believe that verse in corinthians - and you want to take it literally then why don't women in all churches everywhere cover their head when they pray and why would a woman ever pray in church? I think we're clearly missing what paul is trying to teach here because of the concepts of the nazarene vow again in acts 21. 23. It says: here's what we want you to do. We have four men here who have completed their vow, go with them to the temple and join them in their purification ceremony, paying for them to have their hair ritually shaved. Then everyone will know the rumors are false and that you yourself obey the jewish laws. So we see another set of nazarene vows being taken in the new testament by the jews. Here, it's a way that they felt they could honor god through physically showing how they honor god. And if we want to take that metaphor of physically showing things in our lives that honor god, what can we do physically? That honor god, i think probably the most obvious - is sexually paul - says flee from sexual immorality? And it's that same thing that here i'm going to be physically honoring god in the book of proverbs. It talks on and on and on about being a glutton and a drunk, essentially saying that i think that it's dishonoring to god when people are massively overweight because we're supposed to be the temple of god, jesus said you'll, destroy this temple and i'll rebuild it in Three days referring to his body, so our bodies are ways that we can physically show that we are followers of christ through what we choose to do with them. Following in the book of numbers in chapter 7, we get 12 days where they're coming to offer stuff to god, which is symbolizing the 12 tribes of israel and then at the end of it. I love this. This is number 789. Whenever moses went into the tabernacle to speak with the lord, he heard the voice speaking to him between the two cherubim and the art. Color cover the place of atonement that rest on the ark of the covenant. The lord spoke to him from there. So we see where god is physically speaking in the old testament times he did physically speak. He did physically show up, but nowadays, if god spoke to me like i'm speaking to you, then a deaf man couldn't hear him or if he appeared to me like i'm appearing to you, then a blind man couldn't see him, and so finally, let's talk back again About the physical ways that we can show god, this is numbers nine, the very end of the chapter, whether the cloud stayed above the tabernacle for two days, a month or a year, the people of israel stayed in camp and did not move, but as soon as It lifted they broke camp and moved so. Here'S my encouragement to you today, search where god is moving and follow him. There go look at where god is moving in your life and go try to move with him. If he's staying in one place stay with the lord, if he's moving move with god, so thanks so much for watching. Logan Maddox: Hello friends! Just a funny update, but I have now cut my hair not due to religious convictions as I still believe everything in this video is true, but simply because short hair is a lot easier to live with :)

Joel Thành Lê Delgado: I’ve been born again 3 years ago and I started growing my hair as a personal experiment then I got comfortable with it and I intent to keep it and no one ever criticised for me to chop it off. My wife is ok with it and so does my family God bless you

Jonathan Santiago: Whenever Christians tell me I shouldn't have long hair as a man I quote this scripture to them (1 Samuel 16:7) But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

Joshua Johnson: Here from the “Desiring God” videos about long hair. Nice to see someone actually speaking sensibly from a full range of biblical and historical context. It may seem stupid to some, but no joke, I’ve been at war my entire life over my hair. From a young age attending a Christian school being told to have a nice neat haircut, and constantly being reminded of the negative consequences of what happens to a guy who grows his hair a little “too long” by the way of punishment. This went on for 13 years where I’d randomly be slapped with a punishment (like detention) one day after one of the teachers would without explanation walk up to me and pull the tip of my hair to touch my ear to prove it was “too long.” It may seem insignificant to some, but after being fed this for pretty much my entire life, feeling like you’re gate kept from one of the things you wish to be able to express freedom with and allow it to enhance your outward appearance and become part of who you are. To be forced so many times for my mom to give me a janky haircut late at night because I would be punished further for coming in the next day not having cut it. This wore and wore on me for so long. I would be frantically trying to tuck my hair behind my ear, or swoop it perfectly so it didn’t “touch my eyebrows” hoping to get it just long enough to get a glimmer of the type of hair I wanted, all for the house of cards to come crumbling down when I would suddenly have my hair examined. The teachers knew me too. They knew I wanted more than anything to grow my hair and this only made them more adamant to make sure I was regularly and throughly examined, and because of this reputation, one teacher would send me to the principals office after even the slightest hair (pun very much intended) of a violation. I understand that from an adults perspective, this may seem petty because “it’s the rules,” but a child will find something innocent to latch on to and when that is taken, it crushes him. With a dress code, the clothes can be taken off and replaced with free choice of style at 3 o clock every day, but hair cannot be. It is a permanent reminder of the control that is over me at all times even when I am miles away from school. The whole thing repulses me looking back on it. Graduating high school has completely opened up a new world of freedom and possibilities. To symbolize the start of this, I buzzed my hair back in March and have been growing it ever since.

XyonbyEditØr: Grew my hair during the pandemic and now I’m keeping it. Just heard a Christian criticize men for having long hair and they sounded so angry like it was personal. i can discern. Definitely a works based salvation preacher.

Tenoch Montano: I am a christian and have long hair been growing it for close to a year now it has not cause me to change in any kind of way I'm letting it grow really long like mid torso or longer thank you jesus for every strand of my hair amen

sanjuitchi: wonderful message brother i also have long hair...iam a christian

JLS Garage: That part about gluttony must've been left out in the Baptist Bible I grew up with

Electric Sailor: My mother grew up in the Church of Christ---a denomination notorious for "majoring on the minors"---and they made a HUGE deal about 1 Corinthians 11--to the point where her family would see me coming, and IMMEDIATELY whip out verse 14 on me! Forget about tattoos, drinking, smoking pot, or gambling--the major sin they keyed on was long haired men! I can't even be around them now, because I know they will look at me with judgment in their eyes!

215 Jim: I like how this was manly about god thanks man

Dwight Williams: I grow har because when I go ballledor city it low, I normally catch a cold every time. Since I have grown my hair, I never gotten the flu or catch a cold for over a year now.

God's morning: Amazing...

Old Man: Brother you younger Christian men got it made today, back in 1975 when I became a Christian the preacher would preach it's a sign of rebellion against God. When I got saved God put love in my heart because at the young age of 15 I didn't have any love left to give. I loved everyone and I just assumed because they were Christians, they all loved me, it's sad but I found out I was wrong.

Jordan Dunaway : Great video.

Nameless: _Please, never cut your beautiful hair!!!, God gave us long hair for both men and women for something, it is not there for decoration, he is never wrong, if he had wanted men to have short hair he would not continue growing, luck in your channel and that you grow more, blessings ._

JLS Garage: "Long hair is a sin" *casually glances at the countless pictures of Jesus with long hair*

Uplift God: Well, I subscribe to the principle, because I am not taken the Nazarite vow, and I do see worldly influences more on a man with long hair, vs saintification work. Everyone wants to create a look from their desires; there is none of you saying that God has told you to leave your hair long. God is commandment and liberty; to the extent that he corrected me on how I had my shirt needed to be buttoned up, when I just wanted to look cool. He also corrected me about praying to Him with my nite cap on, so he does care about women covering their heads, which I have heard women say that the Lord moved them to start covering the head. If you’re not following the Bible, well….you can just do anything with the way you want to look, you can even look like Jezebel, and be saintified ; you can look just like the customs of this world, according to you all, …..and God will be just satisfied with you , the Bible says that God suffers long with us ☝️. Obedience is better than the suffering that you have to go through, but hardly none of today’s believer’s willing to go that far . I’m striving everyday to walk according to the commandments that God is bringing alive in my heart, and I am glad to look totally different from the world, if I can bare His imagine of humility and purity ☝️. I want His law living in me , not rebellion. You all are not….Nazarite’s !!

Oracle of Radical Wisdom: YOUR HAIR IS NOT A CAUSALITY! Our hair is the physical extension of our thoughts, it gives us direction throughout our lives; each of our hair represents ourselves, they are strong connection points both of our body and of our spirit according to indigenous peoples. Men and women of wisdom have long hair; on the other hand, in places where tyranny has been presented in any of its forms, short hair has been obligatory and this, together with other factors, has culminated in the spiritual and physical defeat of the peoples. Hair has its own language and character, and the way it is styled is extremely important to whoever wears it: The line in the middle represents the alignment of thought. The braid, the unity of thought with the heart. Loose hair means security. Hair up, conviction. Currently people comb their hair without knowing the meaning of their actions and the style in which it is used, hair is important because leaving vanity or practicality aside, the way you wear your hair will directly affect our mood. Going into the thinking of indigenous peoples we will find that the way of wearing hair combed was of utmost importance because this way their participation in various events was described and announced: marriage or war, joy or mourning. Through the hair and headdresses he wore, you could know the maturity of people, their status in society or the times of peace and war. Hairstyles were like the seasons; They changed on public, private, and ceremonial occasions. The hair represented the individual's thoughts and spiritual state; showing the bonds and spiritual unity of his family and defining the cultural harmony and spiritual alignment of his community. The hair represented the states of nature, flowed in a straight line like waterfalls, or rippled like river water. Indigenous children were taught to wash and rinse their hair. In the teachings of many indigenous tribes, cutting hair represented a process of mourning or proximity to death. Hair was a mystical element in all of them. They did not allow anyone to touch their hair without their permission. On the importance of long hair: For a long time, peoples of different cultures have not cut their hair, because it is a part of who they are. When the hair is allowed to reach its maximum length, then phosphorus, calcium, and vitamin D are produced, and enter the lymphatic fluid and finally the cerebrospinal fluid through two ducts in the upper part of the brain. This ionic change makes memory more efficient and leads to increased physical energy, increased endurance, and stoicism. If you decide to cut your hair, not only will this extra energy and nutrients be lost, but your body will need to provide a large amount of vital energy and nutrients to regrow lost hair. Also, the hairs are the antennas that collect and channel the energy of the sun or (prana) to the frontal lobes, the part of the brain that is used for meditation and visualization. These antennas act as conduits to achieve a greater amount of subtle energy, cosmic energy. It takes approximately three years from the last time the hair was cut to form new antennae at the tips of the hair. Wet hair: When you pick up wet hair, it will tend to shrink and pinch a little, and even break as it dries. A better idea is to take the time to sit in the sun once in a while and allow your clean, damp hair to dry naturally and absorb extra vitamin D. Yogis recommend washing your hair every 72 hours (or more frequently if your scalp sweats a lot). It may also be beneficial to wash your hair after being upset or angry, to help process emotions. Haircut: Often when people were conquered or enslaved, their hair was cut as a sign of slavery, helplessness, and humiliation. The bones of the forehead are porous and their function is to transmit light to the pineal gland, which affects brain activity, as well as the thyroid and sex hormones. Just as tribes and entire societies were conquered, the haircut became so prevalent that the importance of hair was lost after a few generations, and hairstyles and fashion became the focus. Closing cycles: Our hair, like every cell in our body, has a memory, which is why it is common that when we close a chapter of our life, our being asks us for a haircut, unconsciously due to the need for renewal, as when trees loosen their bark, until to regain its vitality. Wooden comb Yogis also recommend using a wooden comb or brush to comb your hair, as it offers a great deal of circulation and stimulation to the scalp, and the wood does not generate static electricity, causing a loss of energy. from the hair to the brain. You will notice that if you comb from front to back, back to front, and then several times to the right and to the left, it will refresh you, no matter how long your hair is. All the weariness of the day will be gone. For women, using this technique to comb hair twice a day is said to help maintain youth, a healthy menstrual cycle, and good eyesight. If you have balding problems, the lack of energy in your hair can be counteracted with more meditation. If you are finding some strands of silver (gray hair) in your hair, be aware that silver or white color increases the flow of energy and vitamins to compensate for aging. For brain health, as you age, try to keep your hair as healthy and natural as possible. It is said that when you allow the hair to grow to its full length and wind it around the crown of the head, the energy of the Sun, the prana, the vital energy, goes down the spine. To counter that downward trend, the Kundalini life energy rises to create balance. Your hair is not there by mistake. It has a purpose."

Soldiers for Christ Radio: Whenever Christian’s tell me it’s okay for men to have long hair because of the Nazarite vow I say to them what about the part of the vow that says you shouldn’t come at no dead body? Didn’t Jesus raise the dead numerous times? Jesus never took this vow, because it’s a shame for a man to have long hair as the HEAD OF THE CHURCH!

blueBeanieboos TV: Saying that it is a sin for men to have long hair is like saying that it is a sin for a woman to have a period.

Omar Garcia: Let me add. For those who say men shouldn't have long hair and women shouldn't have short hair. How "long" would be "long"? And how "short" would be "short"? There isn't a fixed rule in the Bible on that. Have you noticed, sometimes, if I let my hair grow a little, some would start saying it is now long for a man. Yet, if they saw a woman with the same length of hairz they's said it's "short". And isn't all this discussion in the context of -married- people as 1 Corinthians 11 says verse :3), since it has to do with the husband-wife relationship?

Lindsey Hamilton: You should look into fast hair growth shampoo to double hair growth.

Alan K: god bless you

2380Shaw: I never could grow long hair. It's so curly I just end up with a big poofy curly "fro".

Ancient Indigenous One: Nazarites grew long hair they did not cut their hair unless they broke the vow.

Zoë Birss: It is forbidden for contemporary Jewish people to take this vow because it cannot be properly fulfilled without the temple.

Aaron Zywicki: I have long hair , But I knot it for work.

Spark ⚡️: It’s funny how a guy is saying that Jesus had short hair and depicted an Arab looking man Nazareth had different cultural way of dressing and doing things.

Maximinus GATOR: So what about bathing and hygiene from what i got and in my Open its ok As long as it doesn’t bother people around you

The Flash Electric: Paul said if any man or even An angel comes to preach anything different that what he said let him be accursed. You are Accursed by the word of God and under shame

Joe Milo: In 2 corinthians that issue was NOT a statement, it is a Question. . He was just saying not to be rebellious or fight the system or the norm, But Jesus fought the Pharisees about issues such as these. But naturally, If God wanted it to be short he wouldn't let it grow and if you cut what GOD made wouldn't you be wrong? There were no scissors in the early days. On a personal level, I never had as good of relations with short-haired people.I just don't trust them. It's personal. Bad real-life experiences with the shorties. Jesus was unbecoming in looks, How other than stinking do you be unbecoming rather than to have scraggly hair. and there was Sampson.Just sayin. One guy said women would not be attracted to them ?Do you think Bonjovi had a hard time attracting women lol? Now someone will say Bon Jovi is not a good representation .Don't be STUPID and I differ not beg to but just differ he has a song Bang a drum . One of the Most Godly songs i ever heard.

Cumberland County Customs: Old testament teachings must pass mustard in the new testament

Light Of Christ Ministries: Simple answer: No

Sunny Johnson: We also have to look at how society has changed. Men in power like the President and other male politicians don’t have long hair. Male newscasters don’t either, let alone most don’t even have mustaches or beards. Who was the last President in office to even wear a beard/mustache or have long hair?

Patcharadanai Chanchei: Counterculture there made the men have long hair in 1960s.

Copyright Free Music: I am a Sikh which is a Indian religion which allows long hair and beards for men. I never understood why the west was so anti long hair for men because most of history they had long hair and Jesus had long hair.

SpiritSama: Gluttony has nothing to do with food and many people are "overweight" without eating a lot.

Louisianagmrlvr: I think it's k for a man to have long hair but for women to have short hair I say no plus Jesus kinda had long hair so the answer is yes man can have long hair

Rural Squirrel: The NT also mentions that St. Paul wore a hairband or headband to keep his hair back. I just can't find the verse at the moment.

mamothcar1: What does the Bible say??? It says NO. You bring disgrace upon yourself wearing long hair like women. If you have the Holy Spirit and see in your spiritual eyes and not the carnal you will see men with long hair look feminine in the eyes of God. Argue it with God.   1 Corinthians 11:14 Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him,  15 but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering. 16If anyone wants to be contentious about this, we have no other practice—nor do the churches of God.

wqnc: Paul is not contradicting the Nazirite not NAZARENE vow because if the Nazirite vow requires to let the hair grow it also tells us that the norm was short hair which would be let grow long. There is no need for a contradiction because the norm was already established it was understood as something separate and special that would identify who has a Nazirite vow. I agree that Paul took a Nazirite vow and walking around with long hair following the rules of the Nazirite vow doesn't make him invalidate his own words on a legitimately Godly issue . It wasn't a personal choice , it was a revelation from the same God who set the rules of the Nazirite vow to teach that it was shameful for a man to have long hair. IT ONLY BECOMES A CONTRADICTION WHEN WEW RESIST BECAUSE OF A PERSONAL CHOICE. Notice how the majority of the people that agree with you are all long hair men waiting to validate their personal choice of wearing long hair and you say that you don't feel that you are doing any wrong with a subject that you haven't necessarily proved .

alexrawr: Men are hotter with longer hair

TRACTS4JESUS: THE BIBLE SAYS , 1 CORINTHIAS 11-14 DOES IT NOT EVEN NATURE TEACH YOU THAT IT IS A SHAME FOR A MAN HAVE LONG HAIR ? EXCEPT YE REPENT YE SHALL ALL LIKEWISE PERISH LUKE 13-3, LOOK UP FBN RADIO

Ben-E-Kay: Is it okay to have cornrows?

Soldiers for Christ Radio: For starters your doctrine is flawed because your not reading the actual inspired word of God. You can’t understand God’s word if your reading the wrong Bible. So with that being said we can’t help you with doctrine. I can only pray you come to know the truth. Even Samson when he cut his hair realized that his power came from God not his hair. The nazarite vow was a religious order. The wicked kings of Israel worshiped false God’s does that mean it’s okay to worship false God’s?? No it means that the Bible has stories of peoples sins and we learn from it. Jesus has short hair, I believe he looks like a man not a woman. I believe he’s the head of the church. This is what the Bible teaches. The Catholics teach that it’s okay to baptize infants, does that mean it’s okay? No that’s a religious thing, unbiblical. Get your truth from the Bible.

Clear Truth: Jesus did not have long hair as apostle Paul said in. A.Corinthians 11:14-15 14 Does not even nature itself teach you, that if a man have long hair, it is an insult to him? 15 But if a woman have long hair, it is to her glory. for his hair is given to him for a covering: Why do we grow old and die? GOD did not want humans to die. Our first parents, Adam and Eve, were created with a perfect mind and body. They could still be alive today. This is clear from what God said to Adam about a tree growing in the garden of Eden. God said to Adam: “The day you eat [from the tree] you will surely die.” - Genesis 2:17. This command would have been meaningless if Adam had been created to grow old and die. Adam knew that if he did not eat from that tree, he would not die. GOD'S PURPOSE WAS NOT THAT PEOPLE DIE. God said to Adam: "Eat your bread with the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground from where you were taken. for you were dust and you will become dust. ”- Genesis 3: 17-19. As a result, “all the days of Adam's life were nine hundred and thirty years and he died.” - Genesis 5: 5. Adam did not go to heaven or hell. Or live in a spiritual realm. What is the Resurrection? The Bible's answer In the Bible, the Greek word translated "resurrection" means "to stand" or "to restore." The resurrected person is resurrected from the dead and is the same person who was before. — 1 Corinthians 15:12, 13. It is true that the word "resurrection" is not found in the Hebrew Scriptures, which are known as the Old Testament, but the promise of resurrection is there. For example, through the prophet Hosea, God promised: “I will rescue them from the hand of the grave, and I will rescue them from death.” - Hosea 13:14; Job 14: 13-15; Isaiah 26:19; Daniel 12: 2, 13. Where will people be resurrected? Some people will be resurrected to live in heaven. There they will reign with Jesus Christ. — 2 Corinthians 5: 1; Revelation 5: 9, 10. The Bible calls this resurrection "the first resurrection" and the word "first" makes it clear that there will be another resurrection. — Revelation 20: 6. That other resurrection will be for the living on earth, and most of the dead will be resurrected in this way. — Psalm 37:29. How are the dead raised? God gave Jesus the power to resurrect the dead. — John 11:25. Jesus will bring to life “all those in the memorial tombs,” each with his own personality, attributes, and memories. — John 5:28, 29. Some will be resurrected to live in heaven, while others will be resurrected to live on earth with perfect and healthy bodies. — Isaiah 33:24; 35: 5, 6. 1 Corinthians 15: 42-44, 50 They multiply priests and saints with sad faces pile up, perform miracles, cast out demons. But Jesus said, The tree is known by its fruit. THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO MATTHEW 7: 21-23: 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and did many miracles in your name?' 23 Then i will tell them plainly that I did not know you at all. Get away from me, you workers of iniquity. Matthew 7: 15-20 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 By their fruits ye shall know them. Do they gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles? 17 So every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; and an evil tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Ye shall know them by their fruits. B.  LETTER TO CORINTHIANS (Paul)  11: 13-15:  13 For such are the apostles, liars, deceitful workers, impersonating the apostles of Christ.  14 And it is not surprising.  because Satan also takes the form of a bright angel.  15 Wherefore, it is not a great thing that his ministers should be likened unto the ministers of righteousness.  Their end will be in proportion to their deeds.  4: 4. In whom is the god of this world?  (Satan) blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the light of the glory of the gospel of Christ might not shine upon them, which is the image of God. Eternal life is a free gift from God.  The eternal punishment is not righteousness because how many years can a person live at most?  Here, eternal punishment means eternal death. God is Love! Bible answers Ecclesiastes 3:19,20 19 for there is an outcome for humans and an outcome for animals, they all have the same outcome. As the one dies, so the other dies, and they all have but one life. So man has no superiority over animals, for everything is futile. 20 All are going to the same place. They all come from the dust, and they all are returning to the dust.
