Today we’re going to be covering a few ways you can work out whether long hair is even going to suit you as a male.
It’s a good question and is probably worth investigating before you decide to go commit to the entire hair growth process right?

The first way to figure out whether long hair is going to suit you is to look into what kind of face shape you have and what kind of cut/style you’ll need in order to make long hair work for you. The good news is most face shapes work with long hair so if you figure out yours beforehand and what you need to do, you’ll have a better chance of making it work in the end.

The second method you can use for seeing whether or not long hair is going to be your jam or not is to try an app like faceapp. (Not sponsored)
Even though this app caused a bit of drama in our Facebook community, it’s still a great tool for predicting what you’re going to look like with long hair and I even did a little demo for you in this video to show you what I mean.
I actually even think I look a little better in real life compared to what face app said but even still, the result it generated was really similar and I think it’s a great tool.

Hello guys and welcome back for another hair video in today's video we're gon na be discussing if long hair will even suit you and how do you figure that out? I actually came across this idea. It sparked from being in the Facebook group, by the way, have a Facebook group called man, buns and Mane's all about men's long hands, both men's long hair care and growing. You it's a very good question, because if you're gon na grow your hair out and go through all the pain of the awkward stage, just to get to a point where you like, I really didn't want to do this now, there's two ways that I recommend you Do before committing to the process, the first thing would be working at your face shape as in what styles and what cuts are going to work with the face shape that you have. I have done a video on this about all the different types of face shapes there are and how you can modify long haired to make them suit. So that is definitely a surefire way to give you an idea where the long hairs going to suit you that car I mean that video will be up in the cards for you. I think I'm wearing exactly the same shirt in this video, as I am in that video. What a coincidence, the cool thing is long hair can work with pretty much any face shape, like I just said before, it depends on the cut and style that you go for and, having that in mind before you reach an end goal is probably one of the Best things you can do for yourself, the other thing that I thought was really cool that I wanted to. I can't believe I'm actually talking about this on my channel, to be honest, because it caused a bit of drama in the Facebook group. There'S this app called face app, okay, so face app. Can allow you to change your gender. It can turn you into a girl and it looks realistic. Okay, it can make you look super old. It can also change your hairstyle dramatically. You can change the color of your hair and it can also change the length of your hair. Now I did a little test where I pulled all my hair back very much like what I've got today and I took a photo of my face and then I asked face out to put my hair on it right and I was actually gobsmacked at how like Accurate, it was so I'm gon na do another one for you today. I'M gon na take a picture of my face like this and then I'm gon na. Actually let my hair out looking compare what they look like next to each other. So this is just to give you an idea of how accurate it is. Okay, so I'm just gon na take a photo now three, two one yeah, so this one looks good. You can see that we don't it doesn't look like. We'Ve got any long hair and now we're going to ask face app to give us a prediction: okay, look along the bottom here. You'Ve got smiles. What? Oh, my god! I didn't even know that it could do smiles. What the that's crazy! Sorry, I'm getting distracted! That'S my ATD brain hairstyles. Here we go, he goes so. You'Ve got tons of different options. You'Ve got original, you've got haircut, you've got long and then, in the Pro section there are obviously ones that you have to pay for. It'S a really cool app to like just give you an idea of what you'd look like before we do. The long haired one I am now just curious is to see what I look like with the haircut one. So let's have a look at that! Oh wow! That'S what I look like with no hair. Oh, I don't like me with the buzz cut now we're gon na go with the lung. Well, okay, there we go! That'S what it's saying that I would look like with long hair ready. This looks accurate man! Okay, let's take my hair out, Oh actually, let's try and do exactly the same. I actually think I look a little bit better in real life. Actually, here's my face app and here is the real thing. It does a pretty good job right. I think that this has made my hair a little bit flatter. Then it actually is, although in saying that I did just do my hair before I got on camera, so I have worked my volume and everything and I've properly done it. This is just kind of like boom, here's your hair and I'm won't lie. My hair looks very similar to this when I wake up in the morning so yeah that is the magic of face app so other than knowing your face shape and using face app they're. Two really surefire ways that I would recommend to you know look at before even embarking on this journey. Okay, it really does take a long time so yeah, it's worth like doing some research before you get into it, okay, but other than that I'll always be here to give you long, haired inspo, if you're ever down and that's what the Facebook is for as well. win zyl: it works on any face shape because you can mold it any way you want to suit your face. For me I found out that adding a little volume to the top accentuates a longer face, it works well because it counters my baby face.

DarkMaster: I've been having long hair for a decade. I'm only 24, but I went through a emo phase as a start in middle school. Gradually in my junior year I changed the style as it got longer. I ended up getting a short fade in 2019 accidentally. Eversince 2019 I've been regrowing it. It's now 2022 its nearly passing my chest. Although longer hair does requires alot of maintenance it's worth. I plan on trimming it short to my shoulders soon to regrow healthier new hair. I wish you guys luck on your journey. P.s the awkward phase is only temporary.
