Corkscrew Curls Tutorial (2022) | Lee Stafford Chopstick Curler Review | How To Curl Long Hair

Hi guys welcome back to my youtube channel. So today we have another hair video. So i've done quite a few hair tutorial or head haul tutorial videos on my channel before so i'll link them all down below if you want to check them out, but i love trying new products and new hair tools. I just thought these videos are so helpful because when i'm looking to purchase a new tool, i always look at reviews on youtube to see if they're good, if they're worth the money and how they work and everything like that. Um, yes, and like this video, if it's helpful so today, we are looking at a brand called lee stratford and i am so excited to show you this hair tool now, unlike the other videos, this isn't a first impressions video, because i haven't used this tool before, Because, honestly, i'm so obsessed with it now, as you can see, i've had quite long hair and my hair is quite thick as well, and it's very, very straight um, and sometimes i do struggle with certain curlers. But this one considering how small the little barrel is. It curls it so well, so this is the color here honestly, look how beautiful it is, and it's a really skinny color, which gives really nice tight curls. So, if you're, someone who likes to keep tight curls in or do pin curls - and this is perfect for that - or it also works. Someone like me, who has tight curls while they set and then brushes out to a more natural, wavy, curl and yeah honestly you're going to be so blown away by this. If you haven't seen it already now, lee stratford also do hair products, so i was actually really kindly gifted this toning treatment by them. So i have purchased this myself and then they've reached out to me and sent me this ice white toning treatment. Now i haven't used it yet because my hair has been darker, but we do it darker for christmas, but soon i'm going to be dyeing my hair myself up with some hair myself and posting a video about that. So when i do, i will also do a review of this treatment um in that video as well, when i do my at home bleach, my hair by myself, video but yes getting on. So this is the curly hair. It'S very simple and that's why i love it because sometimes um colors can be very complicated. This one's very simple: it has a simple on off button. It tells you it's on and it has a little branding here. It'S pink. They do have different versions of this, but i think it's the same one. It just depends like some of them are older, and some of them are newer. I'Ll put a picture of the website up now and i'll link it down below and the price, and everything will be on the screen right now so yeah they do that on amazon, as well, so head over to amazon to try it out and it doesn't take Too long to heat up so once you've plugged in you literally just click on and then you can just wait a couple of minutes for it to heat up and, like i said, my hair is quite thick um, so i need to do in sections. Please excuse my brush is hairy, i'm that person that forgets to clean out my brush keep all of this over here and we'll just start by doing a little section. So you can see - and i will speed it up as well, just because it can be boring to just keep seeing me do loads of different curls um, so yeah. So now it's really hot, be careful. You literally just go from the root, so just get a small amount. One thing i like about this curler is even though it's a small barrel i'll show you in a minute. You can do really small sections like this, or you can actually do really big sections and it still curls it so nicely, and you don't need to hold it for too long either, which i'm so happy about, because i hate it when you have to hold a Curl for like five minutes - okay - so you just pull it in like this literally not long at all, and then you can take it out. Look at that! Can you honestly see that literally it was barely in? Was it and boom? Okay? So now i always find curling hair works better on, like not freshly washed hair, so i've washed my hair two days ago now and it works really well on like two day hair. You can see it's a bit of a bit more hair in there and it still creates a really nice curl effect. Let'S do it again and even though my hair is quite long, i literally can come here so quickly using this just hold it there and then down just creates really nice. So so, depending on how tight you hold the hair, you can either get really close. Curl like this or you can get a more spaced out curl. I like to do a mixture because, like i said, i'm gon na brush it out anyways um. So i'm not too worried about it. Being super super tight now so i know some people like to um, pin them or hairspray in them now, but i honestly just leave it. You can see it coming together really nicely now we're going to do a really thick bit now, because sometimes you just want to get loads done at once. It'S quite a thick piece of hair, so let me just show you sometimes i do a big thick bit and then i'll take smaller sections from that thick bit just to go over, but it just means in general, this section of hair would be like kinked and Then i can just take sections that are more and show like that's a good way to save time, so you can see that was a really thick bit and it's created this kind of like nice curls. So i might just separate that it's all kinked now so i have to worry about it being dead straight and i might just take a couple of smaller sections on top like so to cut out all right. So the first side of my hair done um. As you can see, it's got a mixture of some really tight ones. Some more loose ones and i'm going to do now - is just spray. This sorry i'll pull the most ugly hairspray face spray this with some hairspray and leave that like it is it's still looking a bit crazy, we're gon na leave. It like it is just for the curls to set in the hairspray, and then i normally brush it out afterwards right guys. This is the hair without being brushed out, so i've literally curled everything, there's some more tighter curls there's some loose curls and i put hairspray in both sides. So this is it at the moment, and if this is the kind of style you like uh, i think i should have gone up as high hair looks a bit random, but this kind of style you like then keep it like this. You know add some more product make sure it stays in um and you're good to go, but i personally not always, but most of the time i want to brush it out just so. They look a bit more natural, not even natural, but i don't know just like less like curly get brushing so like i said this is the brush i use and i'm just gon na start by gently brushing just so it separates them. This is how i like to do it just brush them out separate something with my hands. Um make sure the front is good, and then this is also a good opportunity. If you um, like you, can see some parts that you've missed, you can just go back in and do that so see. This is looking more like it just give it some more volume and then i'm just going to add a bit more hairspray just to keep it in, but not too much. I don't want to get rid of the softness that we've just created and guys. This is the finished. Look. Let me know what you think, i'm so happy with it and honestly, like it, didn't even take that long. It'S my go-to style, i think it looks so fashionable. I thought i'd always tuck this up. Just to give my face a bit of um structure and i'm so happy with how this hair looks honestly, i love it so much, and this is honestly one of the best um really small barrel, curlers, that i've ever used. It'S really versatile. It works on really small pieces of hair and bigger pieces of hair and yeah.
