Beauty Works X Molly Mae Curler Kit Volume 2 Review | Best Hair Curler For Long Hair

Hi, it's charlotte welcome back to my channel so for today's video i'm really excited because i'm actually going to be testing out the beauty works ex molly may curl kit volume 2.. I i think ever since this has come out. I really wanted it. I wasn't really tempted by the first one. I don't really know why it didn't appeal to me too much, but when i saw like how thick this barrel was - and it does look very pretty as well - i just kind of really wanted it and then i think asos were doing 25 off and i thought You know what it's a little bit more affordable, so i will get it and quickly, i'm in love with it, but yeah. So, as you can see, i've got you quite zoomed out, so you can hopefully just about see all of my hair yeah, i'm very excited to open up this box. It says on the outside. You can control the temperature, which i think is quite cool between 80 and 220 degrees. This is a 38 millimeter curling tong for loose soft curls, which is kind of what i was looking for. I think it suits me better rather than tight curls and actually, how much did i pay for this? Let me find out so it retails for 94.99, but as i got 25 off, i think i kind of paid around 76 pounds. It is a big box, a hefty box. If you get quite a lot inside of it, it sort of opens up like this and inside it says, platinum, collection and, first off you get this little silver brush, which is kind of like. I don't know what you call this, but they're quite um, quite fine bristles. I want to say, but this seem quite soft. I guess probably because this kind of brush is more for brushing out your curls, i'm guessing. So that's why it's a bit softer. I actually like that. It feels really nice. You then get a little mitt, which is quite nice, so that you don't burn yourself and also a little heat proof mat, which is really nice. You know what i've always not always, but i mean i've kind of thought to myself. I needed a heat proof mat recently, because i don't know i just find it so annoying not having one. So this is actually really useful and then this is the main thing inside the box, which is velcro, oh wow, and it rolls out like this making. You feel like a professional hairdresser. So the first thing that just fell out is this little silver comb, which is very fine quite pretty, and then you get 10 of these silver clips, which i actually really like. I bought some black ones a while ago and yeah. These are really good for holding in curls, so i'm gon na be excited to use those. Then inside the zip compartment you have the main color, which you know what i really hope i like this, because obviously i hope i like it one reason i really like this curling wand is because of how long it is. I feel, like your average curling wand, honestly, maybe ends like here or even shorter and if you've got long hair, which currently at the moment i do it's just a lot handier, i'm sorry. I think this is gon na focus. I'Ll probably have to do it later, but you have a couple of buttons here. You have the on button and then two arrows, i'm assuming that's to control. The temperature just looks like this. I'M now going to plug this in okay, so you're not going to have to see this, but it now says in red off. So if you click the on button, it now says it's counting. Oh, is that the temperature going up? It shows you as the temperature's going up right. I think so it's going. 45. 46. Oh cool, that's really cool! So i don't actually know what temperature i should have at it says between 18 220.. My hair is so fluffy. Today i absolutely hate it anyway. I'M going to put half of this up in like a little bun thing. Okay, that will work right. I'M gon na be using my side of me again right. So it's at 180 degrees and it's stopped. I might leave it at that temperature because maybe it's recommending that temperature - i don't know which i'm gon na do. First, this side, yeah. Okay, i might do this side first, so i'll put on the glove on this hand right, i think so. I really hope this gives me the curl that i'm imagining it well. I'Ve got the glove on the wrong one. I'Ve just realized, i do don't lie. Oh i just dropped it right. Can i can i put her back in a little loop. I don't know that's how you're supposed to do it, but i can't seem to be able to do it any other way. Love. I think it's confusing me a little bit, but it's fine. I think i'm not used to using a glove, but it definitely is helpful for holding the curl. Admittedly, at the end of this, video i'll probably have to go and watch how molly does it in her video? I'M sure there must be a bit of her doing it whilst i've got the glove on that hand, i think i'm gon na do the rest of that side. I'M really sorry that i i feel like i'm doing this awfully that's that side, so i think i'm now gon na go to the other side. I'Ve still yet to debate whether i'm gon na brush these curls out afterwards, because i'm a little bit scared too. Like i see other people doing, it looks so good, but i feel, like i don't know i'll, find a way to mess it up. Basically, i'm really sorry that you're not going to see the side as well because of the way i'm facing. Oh, my god, it's so much harder on this side. Why do i feel like when i take these all out like one side's gon na be good and one's gon na be bad? That'S my fear. Also. I don't know what to do with my bangs. I had this problem with my last hair video i'm like do. I need them straight. I don't know, i don't know what to do with them catching the curl is like it's turned out to be the hardest thing. Oh okay, why do i feel like um? That'S dropped. I really don't know what to do about these curls. So i'm kind of thinking we'll do a little a little curl like a little. I don't know. I think i literally did nothing anyway. I am going to now, so i don't actually know how long i should stay seasoned because they all kind of seem not hot anymore. Also so i'm going to zoom in a little bit a little bit scared that one side's going to be not better than the other, although neither is going to be good. I think i might try and start to take this side out. Oh that it's so bouncy. Oh, my god, i'm a little bit living. Oh, don't know what happened to her. That'S a little bit long, but it's fine wow! I am a little bit shook i've always sworn by the mark hill curling wand, but i've never had curls like this before. Oh, my god, is it literally just because it's a thicker barrel, because that is beaut. I am. I need to take this off. Oh, should i turn her turn around. I will do a little spinneroo. They look a little nice from the. I don't know. If it looks nice from the back, i'm in love - oh my god is that i just that's beaut honestly right, so she uses these or people use these i'm a little bit screwed i mean i'm like what do you think? Oh, it's a lot like fluffier when you do that, and i'm too scared to do it like a lot hello, miss glam, i mean if you went out in the rain. This would all last nanoseconds i mean, but and so would any curl hair. Really, this wasn't a flop purchase, oh my god. This might have to replace my mark kill once you know, because i really like it and you know what it actually makes me want to try. Molly may's mermaid waiver, because i use the mark hill mermaid wave and i think that's good, but i thought the mark hill curler was good, so her mermaid waiver might be even better. I kind of think i need to try it now yeah. I do need to put some like oils or some styling stuff for my hair, because, like my baby hairs are still going crazy. I think it's really really cute. I feel super glam also. This is the first time i've curled my hair. Since i've got my hair cut and i'm absolutely in love like i cannot, this review is a yes. This review is a get it. If you like this kind of loose slam hair, obviously it only becomes glam really when you use the brush. I want to say like before you just get bouncy loose curls, which is also great, but then, if you want to make a little bit more then run the brush through it. So this isn't for like, if you like, tight curls, maybe you'll, probably like her first kit, her volume, one kit. I think it's worth the money like. I know it's like 100 pounds on a curling wand, but you do get a lot of stuff with it and it is handy. The glove is really handy for holding the curl. You get all the clips which i think definitely is what helped this look and i'm obsessed yeah. I really hope you enjoyed this video.
