Hello, welcome to my channel second is diary today we're going to make this two-in-one airborne. It looks like a head wrap, but it's actually a bonnet wrapped around the strap. So i've already cut my air bonnet fabric. If you have, if you don't know how to make a bonnet, you can check out my previous videos. I'Ve made up on it in them, so you would know how to cut that semicircle. Looking thing, so we need for the strap. We need two. No, we need four fabrics, each one measuring 45 inches by six inches or if you have a 90 inch fabric, even better, because for this one i've cut out four fabrics and i'm going to join two together. So two each, which makes it 90 inches about 90 inches and, as you can see, i've done that already, i'm just going to open up my seam allowance and then join it to the other fabric right sides facing each other. If you have a fabric measuring 90 inches, then you only need two of them and so be 90 by six inches. So you just need two of them. You just join it instead of joining it in the middle as i've done here, because my fabric is not up to 90 inches out of manage, so you have to be 45 twice and then join it together to make it a long 90 inch strap. So i'm just joining my fabric together clipping them together, so i can sew it. I'M just going to sew everything around together, leaving a gap at the bottom about five inch gap. So i can turn my fabric the right side out. Okay, so, depending on the shape, you want on the edge of your strap. And if you want the slanted, look like this just measure down about two and a half to three inches and just do a slanted shape like so or if you want the curved edge. Like i'm, drawing out just go around when you're sewing, and that's in that manner like that, so it depends on what you want. I'Ve gone for the curved edge as you can see there, i'm just going to trim off all the excess fabric and then once you do that we're going to turn our fabric right side out through this gap. Remember the five inch gap we've left yeah, so we're going to turn it through there once you do that, just make sure you iron your strap nicely, so it stays nice and flat and looks more presentable. That way. This tutorial is very straightforward. To be honest, especially if you know how to make a bunny so um, now i'm putting my air bonnet together, we're going to sew our satin to our kinder print fabric. You can use two satin fabric, but i think for the edge wrap up on it. It'S just look, it just looks nice in there in um, ankara or painted print fabric. So, but you can definitely use the satin one here just there. It doesn't give it that um. You know um, i'm just going to pin my fabric all the way around and i'm going to sew all the way around leaving a two inch gap. So i can turn my fabric right side out. That'S my gap turn the right side out iron. It make sure you iron it so it looks good and then we're going to create a casing and one inch casing. So you mark one inch from the edge of your bonnet that you made and then just sew around it. You just watch my video on how to make a bunny finish off um just finishing off the elastic, so it's finishing off sew your elastic together, i'm just trying it on because this airborne it belongs to moi, and i have a big head. So sometimes those elastic can be a bit tight, i'm just going to top stitch mine. Usually i blind stitch um the gap on my app on it. That'S what i do most of the time, but i was feeling lazy and this air, but it belongs to me, is not the one that i sell when i sell the ones that i sell, they have to be um. I have to use a blind stitch too. I just think it looks better and when you finish it off that way and then for the strap, i'm just going to top stitch all the way around and that top stitch would also close the gap. Remember the five inch gap we used to turn our fabric right side out so yeah, but if you don't feel you don't have to top stitch it, i just prefer the top stitch. Look. Um. I'Ve got a press button here like that. What i'm going to do? I usually just attach it one to the strap and one to the air bonnet so that when you're wearing the strap with the air bonnet, it sort of stays in place when you're um trying to do your head wrap. But for this video i'm not going to use the press button, but if you think you'll find it easier to use um, then you attach the press button and just attach the other one to the up on it like that use, um needle and thread to attach This through those old, so you can see the holes at the side just attach it needle and thread go over a few times and it stays in place, and that's that really guys, i hope you've enjoyed this video. I hope it makes sense and i hope you're going to try it. I hope is this: video doesn't look rushed. I just try not to bore you because i'm sure a lot of people now to make a up on it by now. It'S just this. Video is mainly to just show you how um to do the two in one air bonnet i've. This airborne is quite actually it's not anything new. I have a old video which i'll be showing you at this end of the video um. When i made the two in one air bonnet, but i just remembered - i don't think i've actually ever shown you guys how to do it. So i thought i'd do a video. Why is it so hard to do a drop on a mannequin, it's so confusing, but yeah. You just tie your head wrap from the back twist it at the front once and then take it to the back again just bring it around together like this twist it at the front, so it sort of stays in place. Or do you have another way of doing it? This is how i do it anyway, just at the front. So when you twist at the front itself, stays in place better, take it to the back cross it at the back and then bring it to the front. Turn tight at the front. It'S so much easier when you're doing on your head this manic. Can you see the struggle real struggle? Man, but yeah guys? That'S just about it really yeah! This head wrap, looks igiaga on the on the mannequin, but you'll see a proper video of how i do it on my own and the video it's an old video but and yeah. The video is not very clear, but you'll still be able to have a gist of um. What it's supposed to look like look at look a bit stressed anyway. Here'S the video. So this is what it looks like when you wrap around your head. It looks like a drop. You know it doesn't look like there's a air bunny underneath and voila our straps coming off and there you have a bunny. This was when i had a short hair and my hair was blonde this. I still have this air bonnet actually, and i think i made this about two years ago - yeah two years ago or over two years in fact, and yeah just cross out of untwisted i twist mine, because i think it just holds everything in place twist. It around. Take your time i tend to move mine back a bit. I was using my phone camera as a mirror. There'S a bit of a mistake at the front just make sure that your strap covers um the front part of the air bonnet. So nothing is showing because i'm not wearing my glasses, i couldn't see properly now watching. The video i can see like the front was not fully covered by you, oh yeah, and plus when you over the time when you use your strap, you tend to just get scrunched up, so you need to iron it before you wear it again, but there you Have it that's what it looks like? I hope you enjoyed this video. Please do not forget to subscribe. I'M trying to get to that 1000 mark so help your girl subscribe like share and comment because i love reading it.
