"Music from Epidemic Sound (http://www.epidemicsound.com)"

Everyone it's Melissa today, I'm going to just film a little introduction for a demonstration that I actually did yesterday morning, but I didn't have time to do more than just film myself actually working with my hair. So I wanted to do an introduction today and kind of describe what I had done. The other day I had put a picture on Instagram, where I had. I said that I had washed it put my hair in the morning and put it in some velcro rollers and then used a bonnet dryer, and a couple of people asked me if I would demonstrate how I did that and they weren't familiar with what about it. Soft bonnet dryer was the bonnet dryers are just you know like when you go to get your hair done. Sometimes, when they put like do Falls in your hair or highlights they'll sit you under the dryer to heat it. You know it comes down. It'S a big bubble that comes down and they'll sit you under it to put heat on it to help it go faster. So that's basically what it is. It'S a hung version of it. Now I used to use this back in like the late 60s early 70s. What we would do is we would chimp her hair and then we would run it on great big rollers, because we wanted it real straight and that we would sit under this. This is not my original one from back then, but I have had this several years. I think I've gone a bit Ballet's now look and see if they still have anything like this, but I have found something that I like even better but there's like it plugs in this comes undone and it plugs in and here's the bonnet. It'S got a hose on it and the hose comes out and it's on the bonnet right here. Each do it on and then you put it on and you spit it doesn't have. It gets pretty pretty hot, but it doesn't have a whole lot of air flow. But it did the trick - and I remember using it several years ago to when I would just for different things that that I wanted to not blow my hair around someone, so I was used to match for a while. I if I shampoo my hair in the morning, I'm always in such a big hurry, so I can rough dry it. It takes me about five to six minutes, to get it dry, just rough right and then sticks from velcro rollers in it, and then what I would do was. I would take my my blow dryer and just go over the rollers right, quick. It would take several minutes, then I would do a cool shot and go over several minutes to set it and take it down. You know it would look fun, it would be smooth and help get the frizz out and kind of the way I want it. Just real simple and smooth, and then my friend Lacey mentioned that about the the bonded dryers and I thought oh yes, I do have those and Lipsey is a woman that is just so supportive of all of us and watches. So many of our videos and supportive supports his own Instagram and I just love her to death, but she said that that she will sit under the hair dryer with velcro rollers and it just really makes your hairdo nice. So I thought well that's what I need to do so. What I was doing. I was using my bonnet dryer that I just showed you and then I would sit under that after I blow dry. My hair put some velcro rollers up. I would sit under the dryer with the senator the dryer and just do my makeup and then take it down and let it cool and then go, and I do use hot runners sometimes. But I kind of like the look of a Velcro roller and you know I used to would always do a hot curling iron. But then it just felt like get the curling iron. They put the rock the velcro roller in and then let it cool down. But the curling iron just was starting to kind of damage. My hair and since I've been doing this with the blow dryer, she didn't even trim. My my ends last time and it just looked it still looked. It did look split, it looks healthier than it had been sitting when I was using the curling iron. So I liked the idea of using that to kind of heat up the velcro rollers and let them you know, curl my hair smooth. But then I came upon this and it is called the soft to it and I got it at Sally's and it works with your blow dryer. So you get more, you can control the better cuz. It just depends on the heat of your blow-dryer and the strength of your blow-dryer, how much air gets up there, but I will demonstrate how I did that it's got a little chin, strap that comes underneath it to keep it from blowing off. I found I didn't like the chinstrap chinstrap as much because I kind of like to do it behind my ears. It feels like it kind of blows in my ears, and that bothers me, so I kind of tuck it behind my ears and don't use the chinstrap and yeah. I didn't have any problems with it coming off because it goes. It has a little thing that you can tighten it with the the hood. So it's soft like this and it's got the tube it's made of kind of vinyl material. It'S got the hood and you just take the tube and you hook it over the end. I'Ll show you it's got like a little piece of elastic, so you take it I'll. Do it in my lab and show you and you hook it over it like that, just the end of your blow-dryer, so it'll fit any blow dryer, because that it's just a piece of elastic so it'll go just over any blow, dryer that you have and and Then you turn your blow dryer to the this strength fit. Is it's comfortable for you and then you can turn it on cool shot after that, while it's still up and it'll cool all your runners down - and you know, it'll set it nicely. So I'm going to demonstrate how I do that and that's how you tighten it right here, this little little cord right here, so I think, there's anything else I need to mention. I just used about seven or eight velcro rollers. These have metal inside, so they heat up sort of from the inside, but I don't think you need to buy anything. Special I've used regular velcro rollers. It does just as well as the metal ones do a smaller one for my bangs, these are larger ones, but whatever the pro rollers, you have that you like to use on your hair that it fits your hair. The you know, however, big or small or in certain areas you may just want it on the crown and keep the rest of it straight. You can still do that same thing. Put the hood on it and it'll it'll work just fine, so row your hair. This is what I take my shampoo, my hair blow-dry it and get it rolling it up. Right, quick, I can usually do it in just a couple of minutes gets up get those rollers in put the hairdryer on sit there for about three minutes. That'S all! I do is I do it for three minutes and then cool shot it for about one more minute and then I'm done so. It takes about three or four minutes to do the whole thing and I like the way it turns out and it lasted all day. Yesterday we had, we had rain and everything and my hair did not really get frizzy and it got almost damp. You know I was out in the damp and I had to do a bunch of bunch, a bunch of errands yesterday, so I was out a whole lot and it really held up nicely. I was very, very pleased with it. Okay, so I think that is everything I'm going to demonstrate it now. So thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate it. I will see everyone in a couple of days and everyone have a wonderful rest of the weekend and a wonderful Labor Day, bye, bye I've been waiting waiting waiting for your hunger they'll, be waiting waiting waiting for you. Now they waiting waiting waiting for your software to land on me, Noby waiting waiting waiting for the future, loving waiting waiting waiting for another wishing wishing wishing fall, you left her to land to burn my god. If you nothing waiting waiting waiting for vision, when you came into my life, you were the world they'll be holdin, holdin holdin on forever horizontal. You won't be too. Have you

Annette Harper: flood relief on the memo line and gift cards. I delivered several pounds of toiletry items Sunday. Please send to: Living Stones Church, 503 Houston St D, Rosenberg, TX 77471

Susan W: Oh Melissa this brought back so many memories for me, there were 5 females in my house when I was a kid, we had a hard bonnet dryer and another one like you have and on Saturdays, we would wash and set our hair for Saturday night and Sunday mornings, my oldest sister had those huge rollers too, Oh Melissa I would love to go back to one of those days, 5 females borrowing, fussing, primping, we thought we were hot stuff, lol, you are right Lucy is so sweet and supportive! Love you! XOXO

T Burse: Melissa, thank you so much for those of us affected by hurricane Harvey. Both my husband and my son are first responders. I am so proud of how they continue to tirelessly help those affected by this tragedy. Even though we live in an area that was in danger as well they put others first. That's what it's all about. Let's all continue to pray and support those in need.

Jan Cruser: Back in the 60's I would use Jello mixed with water to give my hair body.  You used the flavor closest to your hair color, combed it through wet hair, then I would set my hair on orange juice cans and use Tampax tubes on the sides to get those little corkscrew curls.  Then I would set under my Sunbeam Bonnet Dryer and I would end up with this bouffant, STIFF hair with corkscrew curls on the side.  I would comb it into a double bubble, teasing my already bouffant hair even higher, then combing a high layer in the back, anchoring it with a big bow and turning under the bottom to form the double bubble.  Then came the hairspray, Aqua Net, using so much the entire bathroom fogged up, no way was that hair going to move! Lordy, what a hot mess I was!  Thanks for the memory, Melissa, we've sure come a long way baby ;)

Daphne's Beauty: Hi Melissa! I love this! My sister had one of those when I was a little girl and I would use it when she wasn't there! My other sister used to wrap her hair and dry it under the hood and her hair would come out so pretty! We had the dryer for a long time and I always thought it was so glamorous. Your hair looks so shiny and glossy. I must check it out. Have a wonderful day, sweet friend.xoxo Daphne.

Dawn's Life, over 40: Hi Melissa! You look beautiful as always. When I was growing up I remember my mom using something similar to this on mine and my sisters hair. It made me feel so grown up. I'm glad to hear it isn't damaging to your hair. I'm working hard to keep my hair healthy and grow it longer. Much love, Dawn

Sue Giordano: Great video, as always! Please consider a tutorial on this makeup look, it's stunning!!

Mary Reed: Happy Labor Day Melissa! I loved this blast from the past. This attachment you use is terrific. Your hair looks beautiful! And you can't beat the price of it. Thank you for sharing this with us. You are the best! Love and hugs, Mary xoxo

Joan Gieseke: I remember that our bonnet dryer made me feel sooooo relaxed and sleepy! I used to set my long hair on empty orange juice cans. Haha! Thanks for the memories, Melissa! xoxo Joan

Cindy Brown: I always perk up when I see your channel posted! Xo. Thank you for this terrific "memory lane" stroll....I loved my old bonnet hair dryer. Lol. I'm sending love to you Melissa. Enjoy your holiday weekend! ❤️❤️❤️

Ann4U2000: I almost bought this yesterday! I wanted to dry my natural waves after defusing them into the crunch cast. I think I'll go back and get it. It was only 20 bucks!

Debbie Talbert: Wow! This brings back memories from the early 70's! I had long curly hair so I would roll my hair with curlers while my hair was wet and sit under my bonnet dryer. It took at least 30 minutes for it to dry. I went to Myrtle Beach for a week with friends the summer of our senior year. I didn't want to take my dryer, so I wore my hair in a bun all week without washing it!! Lol! Fun memories. I wish the flat iron had been around then! xoxo

Karen Guzzi: Wow, your hair looks so glossy and full. I've been using velcro rollers since the video you did months ago and I think it has helped with keeping my hair healthier. Just got some huge velcro rollers at CVS that were clearanced 75% off. Have to see how my hair comes out with them. That bonnet you attach to your blow dryer is wonderful. Thank you for sharing and for the intro about Texas. Our prayers are with them.

Karenejkleinfineart: Your hair looks pretty! I remember those hooded dryers too. Such a great idea to have it connect with your regular blow dryer! Have a wonderful week!

DebbS54: What a great idea, Melissa! Your hair is beautiful! Love and appreciation to you!✨✨

DIY Decorate: Thanks for sharing and demonstrating the blow dry bonnet. I'm glad to know Sally's carries this product. I was just in the store Saturday looking at bonnet dryers. I didn't know you had demonstrated this product until today. I'll be trying that one out. I think it will help control the frizzies. By the way, you are gorgeous even with a head full of rollers in a dryer bonnet!

SuBi: Oh WOW! This brought back a lot of memories when I was little and my mama rolled my hair on those horrible bristle hair rollers, usually for picture day

Barbie Kisel: Your hair looked beautiful. Just wanted to say thank you for the message you posted from you and Doug for the people of Texas. That meant alot since my daughter and several very good friends of mine live there. You're the only one I've seen post that and it means the world to me and something I'll never forget. Both you and Doug are very special people (Oliver is too).

the Daily Connoisseur: Hi Melissa, this was such a fun video. I love the look, it's gorgeous! My mom uses a bonnet hair dryer and I always get her to do my hair with it when I visit. It creates so much volume. I can't seem to get the rollers on myself though. Sending love to you beautiful friend! xo

Kay Watkins: Brilliant! Thank you so much for the demo. I have been imagining something like this but didn't know it existed. I will be purchasing this week! Your videos are a tremendous help and a joy to watch!

Janet H: Melissa, you're getting prettier by the day!!  Well, after laughing about people not knowing what a bonnet dryer was I realized how old I am!!  hahahahaha   Yes, I had both the soft bonnet dryer and a hard bonnet dryer that would fold down into it's own carrying case!!  I would tuck the soft bonnet behind my ears, too!  It burned them and was sooooo loud!  LOL  Then I decided to nix the dryers and just sleep in those huge, hard plastic rollers!!!!!  Ouch!  The things we did back in the day to look cute!  LOL  Your hair looks great no matter how you dry, roll, scrunch or whatever you do to it.  :D  Beautiful!  Love ya and thanks for the sweet memories!!!!!!!!   Big Hugs!!  xoxoJanet

David Mauskopf: Wow! This brought me back in time! First I have to say I love your lipstick! Beautiful shade on you. LOVE your hair. Looked awesome after using that dryer. I don't have hair like you but I wonder if I should give it a try. Thanks for posting!! Beth

Cinnamon Girl Beauty: Hi Gorgeous! Thanks first off, for your sweet intro for Texas. My state has been deeply damaged but it has been wonderful to see the outpouring of love from people all over the state, country and world! You look beautiful in that red lipstick - you're making me want to go pull one of mine out! My grandmother used to do hair in her basement and I always remember her having those poofy hair dryer things so definitely reminds me of the 70's for sure! Very cool, your hair always looks amazing, thanks for sharing this fun item! XOXOX Love ya girl! Michelle :)

Sam Vicente: Oh Melissa, you look so beautiful today, I swear you are getting younger by the day!! What a great idea, anything that shaves off the minutes of the morning rush to get ready is a bonus!! And it works so well! My thoughts & prayers are with the people of Texas at this truly awful time, so very sad. Much love to you & the family, Sam xxxx

Melissa Rogers: I LOVE it Melissa! My hair was horrible yesterday with our crazy, cold, rainy, humid weather! lol It was nice and smooth until I went outside. Great video and loved the pretty song also! I'm going to look for that bonnet hair dryer. Thanks a bunch!

Beauty & Beyond: Hi Hun...Oh my goodness this took me back some years.. I remember I had one from Pifco, it had an orange flowery hood. I love the idea of the new one you have, that attaches to your dryer. Your hair came out beautifully and it has to be better for your hair than heated rollers. I'm going to search Amazon for it......Big Hugs beautiful lady.....Bella xxxxx

angela gregory: Hi Melissa, I love the way my hair turn's out when, I use roller's. As you said, it keeps your hair in better condition. I think my hair dryer, back in the day, was a make called Pifco, and you could walk around with, it on your shoulder. I wish all of the people in Texas keep safe and well.love from England. xx

Karen Henderson: That is so cool! The finished result is beautiful! You have such pretty hair.

MQS 1: What a fun throw back that was! Thank you, the cutest Little Bo Peep ever!

Sue C: Hey Melissa! Yesss! I always used the bonnet dryer! We are the same age.... brought me back! Campbell soup cans and orange juice cans too. Those were the days! How far did we come?! You look stunning today! Hugs! Xo

Melanie Rose: Excellent video! I love velcro rollers, but now my hair is nearly down to my bottom, so it's a workout to get them all in! I'll have to try this hair dryer attachment to make it go faster! Beautiful hair!! I avoid the curling irons too because of the damage, so my hair dresser only trims my hair every other visit, so about ever 4 months, give or take. :)

Elizabeth Sleison: Melissa, this is just great. Thank you very much. Appreciate your tips, tricks and ideas all the time.

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: Melissa, thanks so much for the demo. Love your earrings!:)

Kayla Bryson: AWESOME!! I remember my old hair dryer and I loved it! Excited to try. You might want to try WEN shampoo...it is divine, it's a no poo cleaning conditioner and my hair is never damaged when I go to the salon, and they always comment on the good condition it's in. Thanks for the video

Kim Hough: I remember using a bonnet dryer! I didn't know they still made them...thanks Melissa for showing us how you use it! You look stunning...love the red lips! Love ya!

swoozebird: I love Lucy! I had purchased that blow dryer bonnet to do hairstyles for a play. Works surprisingly well. I am surprised they still make the bonnet blow dryers. Are you ready for this? I have one of those bonnet blow dryers from the 1960s. My godfather's wife purchased it for me when I was like four or six years old because I wanted one. I still have it, and it still works! I will have to send you a picture of it. Yes, I do occasionally use it. xoxo. Swoozie

CAROLINE JOHN: I can remember my sister using a bonnet hairdryer, brought back some lovely memories ☺. You are SO beautiful, love that lipstick on you Melissa. Your hair looked really sleek and soft. Thanks for sharing. Love and hugs from Wales, Uk

Trish Forney: Looks beautiful Melissa! Lol I sure remember using similar dryers as a teenager hahaha

MaryEllen After 60: You always have the best hair ideas, Melissa. Takes me back to the day when I would sit under a hair dryer every time I washed my hair. It was a metal dryer, on a stand, Wish I still had it. Love you, my friend. Many blessings, and love...MaryEllen

Jackie Watson Fitness: Oh, this brought back memories! In the 60s, my mom used one of those! I can still picture her with that bonnet on her head! She would wash my hair and put those pink foamy curlers in it and make me sleep in them. Sometimes she would make me use the bonnet, but not very often. Thank you for the memory!

Jane McGrath: Hi Melissa,i love your hair.I got a few inches off mine and changed the tone of colour slightly. Its has mad a big difference.Iv been taking Vitamin D3 and my hairdresser has noticed a big change in the my hair, much healthier.♥

Joan Potanko: That is pretty neat. I had the first one you showed years ago. I love your hair up like that and the lipstick looks so nice. Loved your video.

It was one of the scariest time of my life. So many people lives have changed forever, thank you for your thoughts and prayer for them. You brought back so many memories of the only way we had to style our hair. I use to use a bonnet like that when I put my hair treatment on and use it for the heat to help in the treatment. Still a good tool today. I loved how your hair turned out, so full and shinny.

Dawn 1: I need this in my life!! Thank You , Melissa .

Brenda G: Awesome video as always Melissa and I absolutely love your lipstick!!!! So pretty!

Julie Smith: Oh that looks like a nice option for doing hair. Your hair always looks great. Very nice demonstration

pam brunelle: This was wonderful ! Thanks Melissa I am definitely getting this bonnet , I didn't even know about it . As always such a pleasure to watch your tutorials !! xoxo

cherries1952: Thanks for the sweet shout out. I haven't used a bonnet dryer in 20 years. I just let my hair air dry while I watch TV. I had one of those types that fits on the blow dryer. Your right that it blows off your head. They didn't have a strap then. Since my hair started out wet it would take too long using the blow dryer. I was always afraid that I'd blow out my blow dryer. It's a good use the way you use it. Your hair turned out so beautifully. Also love the upsweep , you look gorgeous! I watched it with Linda & she said she should be a model. I agree with her. You should enter when More magazine asks for readers to enter the model contest. It's nice that so many ladies have memories of their Mother using the dryer or they used it. Love you so much, Lucy

Lynn Burlile: I used my mom's bonnet dryer. I had short hair while I was on the swim team, but long hair for the rest of my life until about 6 months ago. I used Dippity Do and Scotch hair tape, too. I think it did a good job on your hair, but you're beautiful anyway. xo

Lulu On Beauty and Life: Oh my gosh. My sisters and mom used those. I think by the time I was "drying" my hair, blow dryers were new to the market. I could cry....they didn't know what a bonnet dryer was. Wahhhhhh. Cheers!

Julie Lou: Melissa, you are absolutely adorable and so beautiful. I love this video. You inspire me so much! I subscribed to your channel quite a while ago. You are my favorite of all the over 50 women of youtube. I love the black top you have on during the demonstration. Can you tell us all where you got it? Looking forward to your next video!! Love you!

Stella Schramm: You blessed my heart ... I totally get the air hood! Best best wishes and hugs... Smiles, Stella (turning 60 Sept 20th)

ToulaK: Hi Melissa, this is the first time I've seen a bonnet dryer believe it or not. So handy to have at home to create styles. Just love how your hair turned out, so much volume, love big hair! I always learn something new from your hair tutorials. You look absolutely stunning in red lippy, it suits you so much, love it! Thanks for the video and hope you have a wonderful weekend. Lots of love xoxo

Animals Are Our Angels: OMGOsh Melissa! You look absolutely stunning! Thank you so much for bringing back some very beautiful memories! Love, Susan xo. ps: LOVE the song at the end! ❤️❤️❤️

Vel2 New: You looks gorgeous sweetie, have a wonderful week too. Thanks for sharing this with us

So Blessed: Wow Melissa your hair turned out beautiful. It's so healthy looking. It was something to see how this worked with your blow dryer. Thank you for sharing. By the way the intro to pray for Texas was so sweet of you. My heart, thought, and prayers go out to all who have been impacted by that storm. God bless you sweetie. Look forward to your next video. Xoxo

Kayla Bryson: AWESONE!!! I loved my old hair dryer and I am having trouble lately with flat hair if I blow dry ....I'm so excited to try this!!

Jessica Ferreira Coury: You never fail to shock me with your beauty. I CANNOT believe you are 60. You managed to cure my irrational fear of aging and to be honest I'm looking forward to my 60s if I can look half as amazing as you!!!!!

faye: Oh I remember having a bonnet dryer back in the day. What a great idea to attach to a hair dryer.

Ruth Ayyash: Hi Melissa, you're such a joy to watch, and really liked the music you chose while showing the bonnet. I do believe you get better with age. Blessings to you. ❤️ xoxo

A Bow: I've got to dig out my old velcro rollers. I use the straight iron and I know it is breaking my hair. Thanks for the reminder. God bless all in Texas and Florida, Porta Rica.

trixiegirlism: Boy does this take me back. I used the bonnet dryer back in the day too. I also prefer velcro rollers. The hot rollers just won't stay on my head very well, are heavy and usually give me more curl than I really want. I usually use my callista curling brush to heat up each portion before, or sometimes after, I roll it up with the velcro. But that takes time, so I love this idea and it's only $20. I'm sold! Laurie

Glitzy Fritzy: I remember when I was a girl my mom had one of these ;) When your hair was up in the roller and I could see all the different shades of blonde in your hair it looked like spun gold and I kept wanting to touch it LOL. Anyway thanks for the memories...dippity doo and the bonnet dryer....smokin cigarettes and watching captain kangaroo now don't tell me...I've nothing to do LOL Love it and you're as goregous as ever! Love you so much my sweet friend! xoxox Mary

Ellen Bartsch: How long does it take for you to dry your hair? I have an older model Softhood and it does work better than the Conair bonnet dryer. I have to thank you for your demo on getting lift in your hair. A pony tail and a larger velcro roller. Love it!

Loves Dogs: That looks fun, had me laughing for a minute, girl got an afro! This would be nice for hot oil treatments too. Just might have to get one of these. I have Sharper image blow dryer that is ionic and I have it for gee only about 25 years. I paid 82.00 for it and back then that was a lot for a hair dryer. I wish it would break!!! Red lips look fabulous too.

kat nuccio: That red lipstick is lovely. Your up-sweep is very flattering

Valerie Hayes: Lovely as always. Dear Melissa you are such a down to earth lady love your videos xx

All That Beauty With Lori: Your lips look gorgeous with the color you have on, but you always look so beautiful Melissa. I know I say that all the time, but just have to say it as your just beautiful in so many ways. I would try the Bonnet Hair Dryer I heard some say it works for curly hair real well. Have a good weekend love and blessings xoxo <3

Noushin MK: This is such a wonderful tool. I'm sure this method is also healthier for hair as well. You're looking as stunning as ever Melissa. Much love Noushin ☀️☀️

teddiboo boo: I have to try this!! I used to have a hard case bonnet dryer that you sit under that my grandma gave me. I regret ever getting rid of it now! You're such a sweetheart and I can't believe your 60 something. You look better than Christy Brinkley Xo

kathy scott: I used to wear a bonnet dryer in high school when I would use rollers and sleep in it all night. I don't even know how I slept all night but I didGuess as teens we could sleep through anything! It was fun seeing one again. Have a great holiday! Kat

It's Just Me, Sallie: Very nice! I really love how you smile so much in your videos. It's so fresh to see someone smiling.

Happy Homemaker: Melissa you look gorgeous!! Love the darker lipstick and your hair looks beautiful pulled up love love the song at the end

Nikki Craw: Hi Melissa - I had a couple of bonnet hair dryers back in the day. A few years ago, I bought a standing hooded hair dryer - which I dont use. With hot flashes, I rarely even use a blow dryer ... just can't take the heat. LOL Your hair looks great as usual; and, you make me want to buy velcro rollers. Thanks for the wonderful tips! Be blessed ... xoxo

Gale Taylor: Thanks for thinking of all those folks affected by Harvey.. So much heartbreak for them. This video brings me back to days of the bubble dryer!!.. But I'm loving your makeup- just so pretty. Can u do a GRWM in this look?

Carol A: Since I am letting my curls do their thing, I bought a dryer on a stand with wheels. I dry my hair with a diffuser part way for volume then sit under it and read or watch YouTube for 10/15 minutes or so. Let's just say, what's old is new. And, it is so relaxing! By the way, I watched your eclipse video and I wanted to mention that you are so naturally beautiful. I'd be jealous if you weren't so sweet. Take care:)

Max It Up with Marta: Oh Melissa you look like you are having so much fun with that cap on your head. lol, I love your smile and giggly excitement. I remember these from when I was a kid. My mom had one, then I had one, not for the hand held blower but still the basic concept was the same. Only great products go generation to generation. xo Marta

SusieQ B: We had one of those dryers that we set under we would tag roll our hair my sisters and I and then came the strait hair we would use an iron to straitened our hair the straiter the better I have been looking for one of those old hair dryers watchin yard sales lol thank you for letting me know that Sally's has the bonnets next time I visit my sister I'll go to Sally's and check your such a beauty love and hugs Susie

Bobbie Ditcharo-Roland: Great video. I cannot imagine using a curling iron of straightening iron every day. Those have got to cause a lot of damage.

Have a great day my sweet friend, love you loads, hugs, Susan xoxo

Catherine Jane: Dear Melissa, You look so pretty with your French twist and red lip, very chic. I have vivid memories of using my mother' s bonnet dryer in my teens. The warm air made me sleepy so I would nap on my face with two pillows while my curlers did their magic. It was a great bouncy look for my long hair and I loved it. My grandmother had a professional standing dryer like the beauty shops had and I loved using that too.

Sue W: I used one of these dryers in high school. Had long hair. I would wash it, then set it on OJ cans like you mentioned. Then I would sit under the dryer. Lol. Turned out great!! You look so beautiful in this video!! Thanks so much for sharing... . Love you! Sue

Lisette Trela: You are so beautiful, Melissa! This look is a combination of Grace Kelley and Audrey Hepburn and the best part...YOU! xoxo Thank you for the prayers for south Texas. Half of my family is in Houston...well, the burbs of Houston. They're all okay, but lots of cleaning to do in the coming weeks, months, etc..

Blue Clouds: Thank you Melissa for sharing, you look great in this lipstick colour. God Bless. Bee

Laura Rae Beauty: I will have to get one of these Melissa. I like using a bonnet for deep conditioning my hair. I have had one in the past. This would be perfect since I can just connect it to my dryer. You look stunning Melissa! Praying for Texas!!!! Love you...Laura
