All right, so you have long hair right. So let me give you tips on how to sleep with your long hair. So here are some minimal protective sleep hairstyles. The first hairstyle is, of course, the casual braid side. Braid, yes, so go ahead and put your hair. All to one side and braid it that is a great way to sleep and protect your hair, while we're on the braiding topic go ahead and braid your hair up. So what i mean is flip your hair over comb it out and start braiding it. Yes start. Braiding start braiding, it start braiding it and then once you got your long little braid just wrap it up in a bun and clip it and clip it yep, and then you have your hair in a little braided bun. This is a great way to protect your hair. While you are sleeping, i love this way, but whenever you do wake up, you will have crinkles in your hair. Yes, so you have to watch out for that. If you don't mind, it goes in your hair. The next morning, then, this is a totally go-to style to protect your hair. Now the next hairstyle is, of course you can twist it up. So all you have to do is just take your hair, of course, brush it out and then twist it keep onto a snake, keep on twisting it keep on twisting it. So you twist it up and then you can twist it into a bun twisting it up and putting in a bun is my go-to style now, because in the morning whenever i let it down, it is straight and it doesn't leave any crinkles in my hair. Now did you know there is a safe way that you can sleep with your hair down. I sometimes do sleep my hair down and how i do this is just make sure all my hair is on the back of the pillow or where the headboard is and i'm not laying on top of my hair. Now, if you move a lot during your sleep, this is not the hairstyle for you, because it's important for you not to roll all over your hair, because that does not protect your hair, all right guys. So that is how i sleep with my hair without damaging it: yes, short, sweet and minimal. So if you like this, video and videos like this go ahead and subscribe and follow me on instagram, if you want some mediocre pictures of life updates, yeah, alright guys. Thank you so much for watching and until next time, bye,

EchoSappho: My hair isn't as long as this, but my boyfriend pins me down in his sleep by sleeping on my hair. Just wondering: don't the big clips hurt when you sleep?

Casey Doyle: I can relate to this video so much! I usually drape my hair between our bed and wall (no head board), which works fine if I don't toss n turn in my sleep. I was looking for ways to put it up when I found your video. No ladies in my family have straight hair (let alone past the butt) so I didn't have anyone to ask in person! ❤️

Swati Chatterjee: Braiding is the best way to minimize damage to your hair while sleeping, but two braids are better if you've heavy hair. Single braid might cause headache.

Taya Dy: I just put my hair into one/two braids, done so since I was little! Thank you for sharing this video❤

Príncipe Mahoma: As a black guy with long hair, I brush my hair back, wrap it flat with a large satin Square headscarf, and use the excess material of the scarf to wrap my ends. I twist the satin material gently until it covers the shaft and ends of my hair and secure it with a hairtie. This way I can move, roll, toss, & turn yet NOTHING moves. My hair stays covered 100% during the entire night, I can even wake up shake my straightened hair & go without brushing because it was wrapped the night before after entangling it (& it stayed in the same exact position I wrapped it in all night). I like seeing what people from other races or ethnicities do with their hair, it's a real nice way to learn fundemental things about eachother.

JkattOn66: Love it! Thank you. I’m gonna have to try the twisted bun

Nakia Marion: Yup, I do all of these! Haha. If my hair's already in some sort of braids like Dutch or French braids I'll leave them in and take it them out in the morning. You have beautiful hair, love your videos!

M K: I sleep like a wild animal. I've tried so many methods to keep my hair from being damaged but I hate the crinkles braids give and I hate the way sleeping in a bun feels. Either way I will end up using heat the next morning because my hair gets matted and frizzy because I sweat like a hog in summer in bed.

Damian Camacho: Are you native? You’re so pretty! My hair isn’t long enough to do the first styles but I do the last one most of the time lol. I’m slowly trying to reconnect to my indigenous mexican roots and taking care of my hair has become a part of that journey. I clicked on your video because you looked indigenous to me lol

RaNa Nawazil: Me trying all the protective styles on my hair My hair: I have done enough..set me free Sara..set me free now!!

euphra: thank youuu!! I got bored of going to bed every night with a loose plait so this helped me out a lot!

Troy Ramadin: my hair is about mid back length. I love the side braid, i feel like my hair has less tension and looks better the next day than the top bun.

Jennifer Castanon: Omg finally i find help ful tips for my hair since I have really long hair and i would want to protect since I had it since my childhood

Dakota Rehder: Your hair is gorgeous!!! i wish mine looked half as silky as yours! also pleased to find a video by someone who actually has long hair.

Shifairah Faith: Wow you are so authentic and real, and the words you speak are magic. Thank you for the soothing moment! Wishing you a blessed New Year ❤️ Come by and say hello one of these days, I'd love to show you our latest ❤️

Katharina Tucholski: Boi the pacing of the video, your voiceover and your editing

elcarimiracle.: I have long thick hair, I usually just put my hair in one, or two braids, And put on a bonnet, it’s works! Just get up in the morning to brush it out.

to.lame.to.function: Omg you’re hair is so gorgeous!

Betsy Jimenez: My hair's a little longer than yours. I definitely get tangled and trapped in it if I dont wrap it up. The twisting works well for me too, but I don't use clips (ouch). I like your vid :)

Lemon Head1: I always put mine in a bun, but no matter what I do, I wake up with a huge knot on the top back of my crown. It is so painful to brush out.

🐸 maisa 🐸: Ok. So when I try and put my braid on the top like that, or a ponytail like that or something, my whole hair gets SOOOOOO frizzy. It's dry and knotty on the back.. what do i do?

Evelyn: omg girl you are goals. So beautiful

Kat C: my hair is also to my waist and thick, can you help? Its super heavy every time I put it up in a bun, it gives me a headache! :( is there anything you find the most comfortable for sleep? I've got neck issues and the side braid kinda hurts me, the bun is super heavy on my head. I'm not sure how to wear it and even though I would never cut it, sometimes I really feel like it!! its just so heavy!! :(

Mia Schlon: How in the hell do you do the twisted bun? Every time I trust my hair to do it and bring it up to out in a bun, the rest of my hair close it my scalp falls. I literally can’t do any of the hairstyles in this video

Courtney Callen: By any chance are you able to provide one on one advice for someone with long hair that is in desperate need of tips and guidance? I’ve been hoping to find someone I can have a back and forth conversation with about the current condition of my hair. Thanks either way!

Sammy Jones: I used to do the twist bun but it just falls out when I sleep

Michael Smith: love it

Nesee Tea: NATIVE AMERICAN yasss sis.

Jen Rivera Bell: My side braid is my go to.

Eileen W.: I always go with braided hair oder lose ponytail with extrasoft elastic

Vanessa M: Stop you’re literally so freaking pretty omg

Lindsey Paskiewicz: You have beautiful hair !

Laura Young: 2nd one had be my fave upside down braid give me volume n nice crimpy waves.not sure if work on meduim length tho lol i havent tried yet

Nabeko Aydın: So pretty and black wow

Dayana Lyons: You probably will never see this but if you do how can you keep your industrial piecing from getting caught? I have long hair and ugh hurts so much when I’m just dealing with my hair

Lily Pop: My hair is to my thighs. I shower at night I done the bun and braid bun but it falls apart in the morning

Bonnie InTheSpirit: Thank you

Zelda Pinwheel: HOW do you sleep in alligator clips???? Don't you feel those all night long?

Diya Sarkar: I love braid but it become wavy

Lindsey Hamilton: Maybe you should research no sulfates fast hair growth shampoo.

Reading Book: Don’t use cotton pillows.

max: Plz upload hairplay video

Mephistopheles •: Doesn’t tying hair cause baldness

Nicole Helcoski: I have long hair but not as long as yours.

I G: Twisting your hair is really not protective
