Using my fingers to blow dry the hair to create volume. First I used a mousse styling product for the top of the hair to help hold and create volume and on the sides and the back I used a smoothing gel so it be hugging her neck and her sides. Second, using my fingers I blow dry towards the face and create a smooth effect and on the top of the head with the mousse, I use my fingers and heat to create volume and locking it in with a cool blast to hold that volume. Last, I use a little bit of dry shampoo to help maintain the volume without using hairspray.

Okay, so now we are going to be doing the blow dry and styling for her new pixie haircut, so we got the unveiling there: no water, there we go so we're just gently patting her hair and I'm going to be using uh styling mousse. Have you seen it using it on her roots, right here kind of get that volume that we're going to be needing in this area? And then, after applying this, I'm going to be grabbing a little bit of a smoothing gel. Because I want the sides and the back to be a little bit more smooth a little smooth, that's right in through here and then we want smoothness in the knee area right through here. So we have two different products on right. Now I'm going to be using my blow dryer, I'm going to be using a medium heat. She'S got coarse, thick hair, I'm going to be using a medium Heat with the neutral. I'M going to be doing this with the finger rod. So I'm going to be going forward, load line, floors, helps lay the hair down and the opposite direction. So I'm just going to screws remember to keep moving the don't hold it in one spot, because then it will burn you and that's how it is upward and pulling down okay kind of like a bra, but I'm not using the blood. I'Ve got the blow dryer. I'M blowing the hair down and away from the scalp, don't block and blow dry with the heat on the head are blowing away from the south and it kind of in your brushing kind of the noses downward to help raise your cuticles down pulling this hair up. I'M blowing at the base, but I'm doing my best to knock on her scalp. You see how I'm lifting the hair with my finger and I'm going back right here. I'M going forward foreign foreign now we're coming to the front of the hair a little bit. It'S a little time I'm going to be blowing and you all put the direction of the way. I want the hair to make something to bring the hair, and this too far left side, because it's going to be going to the right side. So I'm going there. I'M doing this a little bit smoother and holding that head right here, I'm locking it in with some cool air, bring it in the opposite direction, and now I'm gon na comb it over volume. Everything is going down and away from not yourself gon na get that hair lifted uh uplifting through the move. Will we help with that all around the front and then the front area I always like to bring in the opposite direction, to create smoothness foreign, see how we've got the lift right here. The smoothness see how it's nice and tapered around the neckline. It has a very nice feminine look: we've got this area where her collet is completely covered. I almost forgot about it actually and there's just a little bit of styling mousse in there and there we go, there's no teasing or anything yeah. Now, a little bit that you can do is a lot of people like to use hairspray to hold it in place. What I like to do is just get a little bit of dry shampoo, a little bit of dry shampoo. It'S going to give you a little bit of volume in your hair, so it'll help hold that you've already got the volume, but I'm just adding some dry. Shampoo and it'll help hold that without having to spray it. So it adds a little extra body. That'S holding power blow dryer, I'm going to put it on the cool setting foreign. There you go, you've got a brand new pixie cut, I hope the direction I gave. You was a little bit helpful for you so that you can do this to your next client. Thank you.
