It's just me talking about what happened in the last month of my grey hair journey and how it's going!

Hi everybody welcome back to my gray hair Channel um. My name is Jesse. I am doing these uh every month once a month, but I can encourage everyone who's going through or thinking about going through the gray hair transition um so that they can see what's coming. For that, let you know about mine, so you can maybe relate or um. If you're thinking about doing it, then you can see that it's not so bad um. You know it's always comforting to see somebody who goes before you 17 months today. Well, not today, it was it's always on the third, so 17 months um it's getting a lot easier. Let me tell you um for sure. I feel that I'm kind of almost halfway there, almost right I've, been able this month, it's the first time to go three days without washing it, so I used to wash it not wash it wash it um. I guess that's every second day and now I can go an extra day without washing it. I don't know what happened, but I can do it now. Um. I think I'm getting closer to menopause. I think that's what did it but uh, but yeah and and another thing I noticed is like I have curls. Well now I blue dry it, but I think that when I'm all done - and I can let it air dry, I think it'll be pretty curly um. I left one here see what is happening here. I don't know, but under here it's all curly when I don't blow dry it. It'S really weird and - and I noticed also at night, I spent a lot of time in the mirror. Just what's the word uh analyzing, my hair, because when I did my hair dye, I used to do it by myself in the bathroom with a box and at the front I would do it like just the roots. You know I could see it and in the back I used to just take and just push like I used to go like this and just push it, so it would always go on to the new hair. So it would, it literally would not grow anymore. So anyways these hair here they have no dye on them. They'Re totally totally new hair anyways just thought I'd. Let you know that my hair is getting thicker for sure, and and now I'm able to uh just not straighten it just leave it just dry, no hair. No products like I use nothing, nothing um! It'S too texture, too different, texture um. This is this is uh. It hurt it's hurt. What'S in English, it's adime in French, it's uh, it's uh! It'S damaged uh! It'S not it's! Not that bad, but it's damaged. So it doesn't curl the same as well curl. It doesn't do the same as this hair does um. So I think once this is all grown, I think I'll be able to just wash and just start working because I work from home, I'm an artist, I paint so um. I don't have to look great. You know like I didn't just, but I still kind of want to look okay, um. So right now I have to blow dry my hair, but anyways we'll see if you stick with me uh you will see in about. I don't know two years yeah if you're thinking about doing this um this gray hair Journey um. I just want to tell you that you have to accept that it's not going to be very pretty for the first month. It'S not it's just this is the truth. It'S just it's not it's not so pretty like when you have this much. This is the worst like I've seen. I'Ve been seeing silver sister on Instagram talking about um and and it's always at the same time, they're all like. Oh, I don't like on Facebook and all it's they're, all like. Oh, I don't know it's hard, it is hard. It really is hard, there's no easy way and nobody looks their best when they have a few inches of uh of gray. So you have to accept that you have to keep going. That being said, I absolutely love the black and the gray. People who have black hair and their hair starts going great. I love it, love it love it love it look. I I feel that they truly will miss it when it's all grown up. There'S one silver sister that I follow that just cut the end, and I I was telling I love it. I love it. I love it. You know she didn't try to make it lighter. You know, that's a mistake, I think a lot of um of women do, they want to go lighter, they have dark, they have brown dark brown or black and they try to lighten it because they think it'll go closer to the gray and it it always ends Up being like orangey, it ends up being a color, they don't like. So if you know you were coloring your your hair, dark brown, a color, you liked right. You like that color keep it you'll at least like half of your hair. Instead of the brassy trying blue shampoo for the dark brass, you know um just keep it it's. It'S truly gorgeous um! I'M not talking about this much this much my personal opinion. I do not like it, but it's something you have to go through once your black is here and and then you do like different hairstyle love, it love it love it love it, except that it's not going to be pretty for a few months. It'S really not so that's all, there's stuff! You could do right. You can put root spray. You can put uh a bandana. Do it like do anything you can to get through that part it's the hardest. So this is what I had to say about this month. My gray hair transition now I'm gon na talk to you remember last time. If you watch my previous video, I talked about my fake tan because you know um, white, hair, gray, hair um makes you look paler, it's a fact. It does it sucks, but it does so. I think I look better when my face is darker, so I wanted to do fixed a fake tan like the lotion whatever, and so I was happy because I found like drops that you put in your cream, so you can control how many drops you put and Uh it didn't smell so strong, it was actually perfect, but I tried it on my arm. I didn't mix it with cream like they said that, because I just wanted to try it and on my arm I didn't care, it worked. It worked very, very well, but it was it's been a week and for some reason I ended up with a bruise. Ah there you go okay, so see it's like a bruise. I had put this much. This whole thing was tan and it faded it's all gone and I have a bruise. Maybe I hit myself exactly in the middle of where I put my faked on, but I'm not using it on my head on my face. So what I did I went to get a shade darker of my foundation and a shade darker of my um bronzer, so that works for me. I think it looks. Okay still have some of my tan from Florida, but it's fading fast. So this is it people, so I'll, be back next month, uh to just chat about how I'm doing and um to encourage you to if you want to get your hair gray and so so that you know that it's not so bad right, it's not so bad Right, don't answer this it'll get not it it it's a process right so um! I love you and I'll. See you next month. Bye
