How is your hair even healthy? Your hair must be dead like your flowers, if you keep dying your hair so much it's all going to fall out. I get those comments all the time, but, alas, it is healthy and I'm here to tell you why it's because it grows real fast and I keep it real short. I cut a significant amount of hair off every couple weeks. What I'm saying is that I chop it off before it can turn into spaghetti. I mean I also use a lot of good hair care products, but that's besides the point anyway, this next shaving tool, I'm using, I also use to shave off my eyebrows. My eyebrows also grow incredibly fast, but not in the shape I like them either way. I went shorter with this haircut because I'm getting a little more Brave with the buzzers. Now I've tried with the idea of using a coma. I cut my hair, but there's a few reasons that I don't number one. I can only find a comb when I don't need one number two, I don't like change. I'Ve been cutting my hair this way forever, and I will continue to do so now. I am still struggling with fading my hair at the crown of my head, but I'm feeling good about the next time that I attempt this haircut and I'm proud of what I've been able to do so far. Okay, bye,

Willow: "I can only find a comb when I _don't_ need one." This is painfully relatable

driverjayne: Just wanted to say you're helping me learn to cut my hair in a style instead of just buzzing it all to a number 6 every 3 months. So... thanks

G Tanner: Who doesn't realize with short hair you're almost always dealing with virgin hair? ‍♀️ I love what you do with your hair.

NadineB: Stylist here! You've got a circular cowlick on the crown of your hair like a spiral, if you take your clippers up and knock the bottom half of it off completly it will keep you from getting a crazy rooster tail in the back. Just a thought, lol it made my life a little easier when I had my short hair

K Quinn Van Develde: I only used to cut my hair myself if I was buzzing it to one length, but you've given me the confidence to try and do more myself. I just gave myself a pretty shitty haircut, but it's honestly way better than I thought I could do! I'm trying to go for a pretty high undercut, but keeping the top long, which has been tough to do... Still, you give me the motivation to keep trying.

Elizabeth Harris: I think it looks great, and I also only find combs when I don’t need them. Unexpectedly relatable

lemon: "Your hair must be dead" if you look hard enough, you can see the shine. their hair is alive as ever. edit: y'all this is meant to be a positive comment can we please keep the replies chill...

💎weirdo💎: You are drop dead *STUNNING* ✨✨

KitKat #roadto100subs: i just dyed my hair blue after seeing your videos! i was scared to do it before, but you were super encouraging, and i love it! thank you so much for making dying my hair less scary to me

Liz: I loved how it looked when you had it all spiked up while trimming!

Jenna Baker: I think your hair looks great! I try to compliment hair when people come into my work because I know how much effort it takes to upkeep. Yours always looks fun every time I see it! You’re amazing!

Kylenn Petersen: I cut my hair short like yours after decades of long hair. I got best hair my senior year in the yearbook. It was beautiful, learning to braid it was agony. I suffered silent injuries to my neck and shoulders that whole time. To see you lifting your arms to do your hair seems like so much impressive work to me… I am hopeful that one day that position will look comfortable again and I can have the strength to do my own hair… such a silly thing to long for but I want to feel free in my body.

Leigh Blair: The lady at Sally’s tried to convince me to use a deep conditioner for my hair health. I buzz it every two weeks

calcium: ahhhh i've never been this early to one of your shorts, im a huge fan!! you're a really big inspiration and your parenting videos have helped me in the way that I interact with my family

Artemis Ameretsu: I always love your hair, I buzzed almost all mine off like a year ago after dealing with some grief and honestly, super refreshing. Now I gotta grow it back out

Bethany K.: You hair looks fantastic. I haven't got brave enough to do the top, so I usually do the undercut or buzz it all off and I love it.

•{Kennemally}•: “Your hair must be dead like your flowers.” No quote had ever been so true to me.

Ashley Robbins: Pro tip! Wrap the cord around the trimmer and the comb together. That way, there will be a comb waiting for you next time you need to trim!

Mag125: Used this video for reference when I went to my long awaited hair appointment… love your vids I just don’t have the confidence to chop my hair on my own yet

Beelzebubz: Yes yes! While dyeing/bleaching CAN ruin your hair, it all depends on length, how fast the hair grows, if you're using the right shampoo and such, etc etc. Since she cuts hers so often, it's pretty much baby hair all the time. Which is a blank slate and bounces back faster.

Lipstick Tiffany: I'm a cosmetologist and I think you did a great job!! You have some of the techniques down and kudos!! Keep up the good job.

SeeyaBirches: I've been bleaching and dying since middle school, and my hair is very easy to manage. Leave in conditioner, rarely wash to avoid dye loss, if I bleach I usually wait a week to put the color on and it's not that hard- Jk, my hair is absolutely easy. Extremely fine, crazy thin, kept mostly short as her, I can style it with WATER if I want to, no product necessary. It helps but my hair is a golden goose. I'm terrified of other people's haircare routines. It scares me. (On the plus side, my knot of cowlicks was easily solved by *never ever ever letting them grow longer than an inch*)

Eth3rea1’s Library: I love that you end every short with “Ok bye” makes me happy lol

L.M. von Lebkuchen: Can't compound damage when the hair isn't around that long! The semi/semi-permanent dyes don't hit your hair as hard as permanent ones too. People used to say the same thing to me when I used bright hair dye, but I was shifting from blue to green or blue to purple without rebleaching the hair in between, along with keeping it short.

Devlinside: I, too, consider this a classic hairstyle. Super easy to maintain.

Kitkat: I have shoulder length hair and I dye/bleach my hair about every 3 months or so and my hair is still very healthy I use good moisturizing products and masks and my hair also grows very quickly and is very thick not just a lot of hair but my individual hairs are quite thick so I’ve heard the same thing all the time “your hair is gonna fall out!” But it’s been about 5 years since I started and it’s still soft and naturally curly

Elmosworld123: The messy look was so cute! You rocked it

bagarozzi927: I am a stylist and ur hair is beautiful!!! ppl who say that stuff have no idea!!!! u are doing an awesome job!!!! love seeing all ur styles

Mikespiegel: When I was dying my hair every 2 months I used this exact method LMAO

swaggytaco: “ur hair must be des like your flowers” had me rolling

Moonlit Bookworm: Same here. My waist long hair was cut off to my chin due to me getting lice (I have insanely thick hair) and it grew back to my waist within a year. My hair grows insanely quickly.

Teresa Danak: How anyone could watch your videos and want to say something like that is beyond me! I want to say things like “you’re reinforcing my process of opening my heart to better communication with my kids” and “it’s beautiful how you are authentically yourself!”

Claudia S: Hi! I just wanted to let you know you're so amazing! My gf and I watch your videos religiously, we love your advice and parenting style ❤️ thank you so much! Youre beautiful

Unidentified Squid: “I can only find a comb when I /don’t/ need one” So true

lumpy the frog: as someone with a buzzcut, this is 100% true. I cut it down from 1/2in to 1/4in every two weeks (when I dye it), so the hair isn't even on my head for more than a month

RogerRoger: It looks so good when you comb it up in little spikes! You could leave it up and spikey instead of combing it down.

Rebecca M: I think it's pretty cool that you're able to cut your own hair. I would butcher mine if I tried to cut it.

Jesica Johnson: If you palm the top of your head like Thing and gently pull your scalp towards your face, then use the clippers in your free hand to get into the crease (aka the parietal ridge area). It helps to have that skin taut when you're cutting that hair. Also don't be afraid to cut the hair in the crease a teensy bit shorter so that you don't end up with weird shadows..just weirdness in general. I'm a stylist and watching you cut your hair doesn't make me want to gouge my own eyes out so you're doing better than most. Who cares if you don't have perfect form of the haircut turns out the way you want. Work smarter, not harder my dudes. Keep up the good work. Oh and P.S. If you have thinning shears, use them to thin take the bulk out of the crease and anywhere else you get shadows. They're a game changer!!

RenegadeStorm: Yeah I feel the comb thing but normally it’s my pick when my hair is at its curl length . When it’s at its shortest I can get away with a brush but if I try to brush it when it gets longer it’s just a frizzy mess.

Mikki Schroeder: I went to a salon to get my hair done when I was in high school and the next day, instead of compliments or anything remotely nice, I was just told I'm going to go bald. I would always say "well I'd rather have fun now and be bald later" and that was it

Kate Kancianic: You're not licensed to do any of that right? I've been cutting my own hair for over a decade and I never do too bad. I don't know if I could pull off a short cut like that! I've always just buzzed the whole thing when going short. You do a great job!

Denise: I wish I was brave enough to cut my hair like that on my own instead of going to the salon once my hair gets to the hot mess cant do anything with it length. It would save me $30 every couple of months! You do great keep it up and you'll be able to fade with your eyes closed!!

Lfox_: I wish I had the courage to cut my hair like this it needs it and it looks so cute on you I'd probably cry though

Madi Suing: Honestly, people are always so mad when people do what they want with THEIR hair! So silly. I personally love all of your hair colors, I wish I felt brave enough to do fun colors.

GreenBeanTM: I shave my undercut, haven’t had the courage to cut the top myself. Most annoying thing about cutting my own hair? I wear glasses, so even the sides I can see I’m doing basically blind

Hello Children: You're getting better at cutting it. You've most definitely improved since the last haircut video I saw

Alesia Fitzpatrick: You're really coming along ,I love the haircut and I always love your positive attitude ❤️ I'm so sorry if this offends you but your voice reminds me of the Charmin bear mom and she seems so sweet (if that makes any sense)

AshKay131: I’ve gotten my hair cut professionally twice in my entire life and they fucked it up. Cutting your own hair is the way to go. No one to be mad at but yourself and it’s all a learning process at that point.

Heather Tulip: WE HAVE THE SAME BUZZ KIT!!! It’s currently directly in front of me, as I sit on the can, on the bathroom floor, half-buried in dirty laundry next to the litter box. My meds ran out…

Nicolas_Theo: LOVE THE CURTAINS❤ might be random but I have the exact same ones in my room lmao had to point it out for some reason anyways! Love the video and your progress :) will continue to watch and support as long as you make content :>

atlas: "your hair must be dead like your flowers" dang that one really called me out

DeathnoteBB: I also wondered this! I never really thought about how it must be new hair since it grows out

Cp.x.20: Lmao my mother's had the same short buzz for the majority of her life and she's used her fingers as a guide for how short she wants it cut for at least 20 years it's just the easiest/quickest way to do it

XLoqrdX: I always say. Take a month or a week from hair dye to give you & hair a break. ❤️

Laura Shipp: I happen to like your hair, it looks healthy and shinny. I don't agree with everything you say, and that's OKAY, I learned that from YOU and I'm thankful to you for teaching me that!! I do happen to agree with 98% of what you say. We are all unique and different, I respect YOU and our differences! Rock on momma!!

Julia P: Get thinning shears!! Use them on the ends of your hair and it blends everything

Leo beboop: I cut my own hair for the first time ever yesterday! Didn't do much just trimmed my bangs and the back bit but I want to cut it shorter but I feel like id make it super lopsided lol

Through the Hatchway: Oooh today’s cut is makes me want a pixie again!

NeRethil Wolfsson: "Your hair must be as dead as your flowers!" First of all, ouch. Secondly, isn't that the whole purpose of a pixie cut, Jeanine?

AlisaH: Your hair is AWESOME!!!! Whatever you’re doing, don’t stop!

Carmen J: Your hair looks great & totally suits you.. well I can’t make that statement cause it’s all I’ve seen .. but because of that I think you look outstanding ♥️

ninino86: I have a similar haircut, and wished I could do it myself like you ❤️ Or atlest trim the side, cause ofcorse mine grows fast, just like yours.

AnimeBae: I've been dying my hair for 14 years. I just laugh now when ppl say my hair is going to fall out ita not their fault they are uneducated about hair care but damn, do a little research!

BREEZO: people are always shocked when i tell them ive bleached and dyed my hair at least 10 times because i have very long mostly virgin hair. Then I get to explain that a few years ago i completely shaved my head and they're even more shocked lol only dye ive used since then was black and i already have dark brown hair so it didn't do much except make my hair below that point thicker than the fresh hair haha

Shay Slayer: Love when u spike your hair a little bit, very cute!!

rich karter: I wait until my new virgin hair grows long enough that i can cut it to the length i like it and then have my hair dresser cousin chop it off and re-dye it, and as much as i love the androgynous, lost boy, cruella thing i got going on, i wanna do half black half rainbow cuz i’ve done pretty much every other color in the rainbow in my hair with the black and now i need all of them then i’ll prolly go back to light blond and black again cuz i look hella good with both colors

ur local psyco :): Dude i freaking love your hair, and your videos lol your hair i feel always look so good!!

KitKat: I love having long hair. I wish it would be longer. However, my hair has literally only grown 2 inches in 3 years. Meanwhile, my mom cuts her hair to shoulder length, and within about 3 weeks it is back down to her butt. I can't tell how much that annoys me. I gave LITERALLY had the SAME LENGTH OF HAIR SINCE CHILDHOOD!!!! Ugh...

Luka: "Dead like your flowers" relatable my parents got my sister flower seeds and brought me a succulent. They said, "we appreciate your desire, but we understand your commitment." And I was so offended. Like, true, but you didn't have to say it. (The succulent died last week bc it's too cold for it to survive even inside )

Breann Hill: Try getting some thinning shears and thin right where the weight line is it helps a ton

darn : Your hairstyle before and after is just perfect

Quinne: one time i was talking with my friend about dying my hair and hair dye stuff cause they were talking abour dying their hair and they said there was no way my hair was healthy if i dye it so much and i just looked at them like: lol thats not how that works- just cause i dye my hair doesnt mean it isnt healthy. i have a strict set of rules to ensure that as well, such as only bleaching my hair every 2 months if i need to bleach it before the next color, and i only dye it up to 2 times a month like if i get bored of or dont like a color i do. other than that, i dye it whenever i want and i take very good care of it. my hair is thick and theres a lot of it, but its short and i keep it up all the time (because theres so much and it gets really poofy, making me look like a whole truffala tree when its down) so it looks kinda messy. i also have anyways air dried my hair whenever i can and only blowdry my hair when its necessary. I just dont get how that friend couldnt seem to understand that my hair is healthy even tho i dye it a lot, theyre a very smart person but then again they dont dye their hair so ig they dont really need to know that info lol- the only problem is that they mentioned my hair was "unhealthy" so matter-of-factly as if they were very sure about it like they knew about that sort of thing- i can understand how dying ur hair a lot could seem unhealthy, but maybe dont tell the people who clearly have it under control and know what their doing that what their doing isnt good when you dont know about it like they do ya know?

Stitch_Love: I DYE MY HAIR ALOT BUT GOOD WAY TO KEEP IT HEALTHY!!! IS TO ACTUALLY TAKE CARE OF IT!!! my hairdressers are actually quite amazed on how healthy my hair is.!!!!

vanessa: i could never place that amount of trust in myself and cut my own hair

L: Well the main issue is that the older we get hair will stop growing to where we wanted or had previously.

Zoey Ro: Have you always had short hair? It suits you so nicely ✨

Caitlin Star: "Your hair must be dead like your flowers" The hair: who's gonna tell them...

MissyMagoo87: I'm the same!!!! I do super short , so it's super healthy

Carli T: It's totally cute, don't change for the internet!

Jynxxy13: In beauty school we refered to severely overprocessed hair as cotton candy hair becauseof how easily it pulled apart

nīå ñ ńÿæ nuiæú ńyìõń: “i can only find a comb when i dont need one”… real

Campbell: "How is your hair even healthy" For a second I thought they were talking to me and I was like "it's not"

Spewky: Ppl seem to like making statements on things they don’t understand lol. I’m sure your hair is very healthy! I have bleached hair that I color sometimes. when I had it in a shorter style for a few years it was healthy cuz I always needed to always cut it to keep that short style. Now my hair is long and I try to keep it long but since that means I cant cut it often to maintain the length it’s way more unhealthy, even with the regular trim every 3 months. The trim is to keep the hair healthy. I have bangs too and they always need cutting so my bangs are the healthiest rn. Split ends and breakage is common with long dyed hair :(

Alina Mangels: bleached my hair a couple times & once even for far too long & my hair is healthy as the day it first grew. All i use is shampoo & conditioner

Maddy W.: “Your hair is as dead as your flowers” I can’t

MandaRenegade: And bonus! The colour formulations for rainbow colours are much more like conditioners with pigment. There ARE permanent fashion colours, but majority are semi permanent and are designed to fade!

Marcia Binninger: Screw what other people say! You have great hair and they are just jealous!!!

Cats and stuff: Same. My hair grows super fast and I like it super short which means I can do whatever I want to it and in 3 months it's a whole new head of hair.

Mush1FrogO_o: My hairs healthy because of genetics, hair oil, and I cut it incredibly short every two years

Squirrel: How did you get your hair to this ... style? I wanna do something similar because I think I can upkeep it myself easier (& I hate hair around my ears) but I don't know how

Alex: Time to go ask my dad and mom if i can get this haircut

Cholula Bear: I liked my long hair but wanted all the pretty colors. About 5 years of messing with it, it finally died and I shaved it balled. Been growing out my natural hair for 3 years now

That Nerd Kenny: I love your hair but "your hair must be as dead as your flowers" IS CRAZYYYY

Lesbians are hewmann too: Dude I know this is completely off topic but I love your shower curtain!!

Cori: I wanna adventure to shorter styles, but I’m worried that with my face shape, they won’t look good. Plus my extended family might all have heart attacks upon seeing me. And I just found shampoo and conditioner by a brand that makes my hair feel alive and healthy and not like greasy, uncomfortable strands (RAW Sugar is the BEST)

Sara M.: I think you should cut it into a Chelsea haircut. You'd rock the hell out of it!

bleachsanchoblastk: That's how I like my hair. Just can't reach up to do my hair because of some spinal issues. It's out of the way and funky.

Luce Johnson: It suits you alot and I think it looks great (I also have the same cut but the top is long but that's beside the point

Ashley Guthrie: Do you have a longer haircut video? I've been cutting a friend's hair and he wants to transition to a cut like yours, but I don't quite know how to do it

Doggy the Anarchist: My hair is dead AF! Just a few bleaches and my big lovely curls are turned into the hair of a 30 year old My Little Pony, after the kids played salon with it.
