So I Attempted To Cut My Hair & This Is How It Went! Highlight Pixie Wig Ft Ygwigs | The Tastemaker

You guys i'm doing a review for yg wigs and i am reviewing this pixie cut, highlighted brown and like caramel shortcut, and i did of course cut it. Just a little bit more so it could just be like a real shortcut, but i believe the reason why they leave like so much hair and the hair is a little bit longer than you would expect for a shortcut like this is so that you can like Customize it and cut it to like your own liking, so you can cut it as short or you can keep it as long as you want. I love the dimensions in this hair. I love that you know, depending on where you move the hair around you'll, get more of a blonde look or you'll get more of a brown look with like little pieces of blonde, but i really really like this. This is like the up close look of my bang and everything it took a little while to like get it together. I'M not gon na lie. You guys. It took me two hours two hours to do this, video to film it to cut it, to do everything. So yeah um, now as far as customizing, i did bleach the knots on this unit. So that's why you know we do have somewhat of a part here. I could definitely perfect the part. So it's like a little bit more straight and everything because it's kind of like jagged, but it doesn't really bother me that much. But obviously you know if you wanted to that's something you can go in and perfect when it comes to shortcuts. I used to actually wear a shortcut, a lot like and then once i got tired of wearing my hair short. That'S when i started wearing wigs and that's what got me my start and that's how i'm doing what i'm doing now. So it's kind of cool that you know i'm back with, like you know the shortcut and everything i know this is like a shocker for a lot of you guys, but people that, like know me, know me this is like okay, i see you getting back into Your old bag, like, if you go to my very very first video on youtube, you guys, can see me with like my shortcut and everything like that, but you know. Obviously i couldn't like perfect the back, how i wanted to and like curl it up and everything. So you know it's not like perfect in the back, and even though i did put like foam and stuff like on my hair, you see i could still move my hair around and then still stick it back. You know all the foam does is just like train. Your hair to go in a certain direction, that's what we're giving though, but yeah it's just a cute. Little short pixie cut. It'S not really much to say about the actual hair, but i will say this. One thing that i wish yg wigs would stop doing is like putting perfume on their units like they put some kind of like perfume scent on their wigs and they've, been doing that for years. Since i first started working with them. That'S how i always know it's a yg wig, because it always has like a perfume kind of smell and it's not like a young perfume. It'S like grandma old lady, the powdery kind of like church perfume, i'm not sure, really sure why they do that. But they do that, and that is something i didn't want to. Let you guys know if you do order this unit, it does come with a smell, but it's not like a stinky smell. It'S just a perfume smell that smells very mature, even after washing my unit, like i still smelled it and usually when i wash my hair - and i, like you know, usually when i wash my hair, like my hair, smells like shampoo and conditioner, it smells like whatever Hair products i'm using if i'm using something like this, it might smell like this or you know whatever, but i don't want it to smell. Like oh lady, you know what i mean like, especially after washing it i'm thinking like okay, i'll wash it. The smell will go away, but no the smell is still here. I do still currently smell it. Um, it's not overwhelming, but it's just like nobody really wants to smell old. Let me know how y'all feel about this highlighted. Pixie cut for those of you, girls who are out there in the summer time, you don't want to cut your natural hair. This is a great way to like try a short haircut out before you commit to a short haircut or, if you just want to like wear a shortcut for a day or two or a week, or you know whenever, however long you want to do it, i Think this is a great option for you, because not everybody wants to commit to a short haircut for one short. Haircuts are very high maintenance. It'S expensive! A lot of people think oh, i'm gon na cut my hair, so i ain't got to worry about my hair. No, when you cut your hair, you have to worry about your hair. Even more, you have to do your hair even more. You have to go frequently like every single week. If not every week, i would say every other week. You need to go. Get your hair cut yeah, you need to wash it. You need to re-curl it you, probably if you have your natural hair you're, going to need to perm your hair like it's a process, okay, but i really do like this. I think it looks so good and i think it's a great way to try out something different and i have never tried a pixie like highlighted look. So that was another reason why i was really excited about this one, because i've always i've always had like short haircuts, but they were like black and then there was one time when i had like my natural hair short and i had like all the designs in The back and i would like color my hair, like cheetah spots, like i used to have so much fun with my short haircut and i wore my short haircut from 2010 to about 2016 2017 somewhere around here, but yeah, i loved it, but yeah you guys. This is the finished look. I hope you guys do enjoy this video. If you have ever wanted to try a short haircut. Now is your opportunity to do so. Everything is pretty much done for you. I would say, if you do this, look though, try to like go get your hair done from like a stylus, get a stylist who knows how to do like short cuts, buy this unit and have them whip it up for you girl, it's going to be so. Fire, it's going to look way better. You know, mine is just you know. I did my best, you know i'm not a short hair specialist. I haven't had a short haircut any years um, but i know like a couple of little tips and tricks. The main one is going to be this foaming mousse and these rapid strips you are going to need these. You cannot have a short haircut without these two products right here, so foaming most rapid strips. We call them scenic strips, but rapid strips that's the brand. You guys can get this at your local beauty, supply store, they're, very inexpensive, and i use these for a lot of different things. I also use these for my baby hairs, but i don't know something about this. Look and looks like this. It just gives me soccer. Mom vibes, i just feel like a mom, i feel like i have like three kids or something with this hair and i probably have like a binge truck because girl, i don't do soccer vans. We can go ahead and get that bench truck so yeah. It looked like, i got three kids with a bench truck and i look like i got a really good credit score for those of you guys who are not new to my channel. You guys know i always wear long long hair like either long curly, hair or long straight hair. So i know it's like a shocker for a lot of you guys to see me with like this short pixie look, but i just thought it was fun and i wanted to try something different and step out of my you know, comfort zone, so to speak. My youtube comfort zone because in reality i've been wearing short hair but um on youtube. You know i don't really do too many videos like with short hair, so i just wanted to kind of like venture out and try some different things for you guys and just be a little bit more adventurous with my hair. This is one of those looks that i tried out for you guys.
