So, stick around to see me put this on my head. Alright now so we are about to try the wig on. I know y'all, probably like i'm seeing here, looking like a ninja turtle, a handsome ninja turtle um, but we want to try to put the wig on so this is what it looks like um without being shaken like i didn't shake it. Yet it's just out of the netting, so this is what the curls look like, they're very thick, very pretty! It definitely gives you like natural hair texture for sure the instructions say to grab it by the cap like so and give it a shake. Oh god. Okay, i feel like it got thicker i've owned, um ways before, but i've never owned a wig. That was basically like shake and go so we're going to try it on i'm going to see you'll see this given because it might be cute and it might be my to go away for the summer. You know i'm saying it so just give it the good old college try so there's a band inside of the wig like right here, and i think what you do is i put the band behind my head and then i just put the wig on, like a Hat so yeah am i putting this on right, honey. Something tells me i'm not putting this on right. Okay, hold on hold on i'll, be back because, i'm being trifling i'll be back, so the curls on the hair are. Let me stand up real quick, so you can see, but the curls on the hair, absolutely beautiful, like the curls, are giving the girls what it has to give girls. Okay, that's that's! That'S that's just period so i mean yes, okay, yeah yeah, y'all like it is given. Let'S give it all. So i'm just gon na go ahead and get started with the story time because i'm pretty sure the intro was already long and y'all just want me to get started this story. I don't know what i'm gon na name it, but this is about the time that my manager tried to set me up and get me fired. Um and yeah we're just gon na go with that. If you are not new here, you've probably heard me tell a few stories about a job that i used to work at um and i called the location of the company ketchup and mustard. Now, if you've watched the story times before that, i actually said the name of the company so put two and two together: okay, it's the same store, it's the same store, so this is a story about something that happened at this place now. Let me just explain a little bit of how i started working at ketchup and mustard and kind of everything that happened leading up to this moment when i graduated college um. I did not know what i wanted to do with my life and i definitely didn't want to jump into a career that i was going to hate. I didn't want to jump into a job and you know make this commitment and ended up being at a company or in a career that i hated for my whole entire life. I really wanted time to figure it out and get it together. So, in the meantime, i decided i'm still going to need money to pay for stuff. You know what i'm saying like, even though my parents were okay with paying my phone bill and helping me until i i became more afloat um. I was not okay with that and i was very independent girl. I am d-e-p-e-n-d-e-n-t. Do you know what that means? Okay, she she got her own. She got ta own. I have too much, though, for real, but i had enough so um. I wanted to have my own money, and even though i knew that applying to this job would not give me a bunch of money like i wasn't going to be balling buying, chanel bags and stuff, like that, i thought that it would give me enough money to Stabilize myself, so i was going to be able to afford food to go to and work to and from work. I was going to be able to afford like metro cards transportation, and i was also gon na be able to pay my phone bill and in the end i was only there for like a year. So actually it was less than a year when i started working at um, ketchup and mustard ketchup and mustard. When i started working at ketchup and mustard um, i started working at one of like i want to say one of the busiest locations it was in the busiest locations, but the location that it was in was very crowded, and it was right next to one of The biggest locations of ketchup and mustard right when i first started working there, i started working there with a group of people and um as we're getting to you know, know the store and stuff like that. I realized that there are a few characters in this story. Yeah, there's a few characters there and a lot of people at that location thought that this was high school. They were really on some petty, dramatic, like child like just just childish, nonsense, just childish, yummy um, one of the first people i met while working at ketchup and mustard was one of my good good, good, good, good friends, okay and we're gon na name him joelle Right, joelle, the first time i met him. He was helping us like learn the stockroom, so he was showing us where everything was. He was showing us how to like replenish stuff so put stuff on hangers and run them back to the floor figure out where stuff was located, how to size, and all of that like he was just teaching us like a crash course basically on the stock room. So when i first met joelle um, i remember he was talking to somebody else like he was talking to another guy. That was around his age and i it was only me and like a guy in the room at the time who i started working with. So i walked away to go, get something, and i heard him tell the guy like yeah. That'S me like, don't even try it like. That'S me like i'm about to get on that. Okay, sure, joelle kind of, like always had a thing for me. Loki um, not low-key, it was very, very high heat, but i'm gon na tell you all about that later, so he always had a thing for me um as soon as i started, working at the store right um with that being said, those who wanted him, those Who had a thing with him? Just did not like me: they hated me. They they hated my guts. Okay, there was this one girl in particular, we don't need to give her a name um. She hated the academy and it was just for no reason like i literally did not understand um. I remember specifically, two weeks after i started working at ketchup and mustard, it was a morning shift for me. Someone told me to go, get something from the stock room. So i'm like okay cool, i'm setting up the floor and everything like that. I go to the stock room and as a caribbean person, i have madness. Okay, i have brought up see, i don't know about child and i don't know about everybody else, but i got manners. Okay, when i walk into a room and other people are in the room, i say good morning good evening, good night. How are you i greet? Everybody in the room right, so i walk in and i'm in a good mood girl like i'm, no bothers, no kids, no worries, i walk into the room and i'm like good morning, so i was like okay. Damn like. I literally said that out loud i was like all right damn and then i walked out the room. I was like i'm never gon na say good morning ever again and i don't know what possessed me to say that. But i did say it because i was just like y'all are weird and i see that so i walk out the room or whatever, and i go to my business and i'm doing my thing. Few days later, joelle comes up to me, he's like yo, how you doing he's like talking to me. Joking with me, all of that, and i'm like talking to him back. You know nothing serious. He goes to tell me, you know. Um so-and-so like let's call her judy, he was like you know, judy and i was like yeah. He was like she does not like you wait. What did i do to her? I'M like what you mean she don't like me. He was like she really don't like you bro, like i literally, was talking to her the other day and she was like. I really don't like that girl. I don't like that. She'S weird she got a weird vibe did girl, miss mamas where you get that information from baby? You don't know me, oh you don't know me. So i'm like okay, that's that's a little strange, but all right whatever so he's like talking to me he's like yeah, you remember that morning you came in and you said good morning to everybody and nobody else said good morning to you, um and you walked out The room - and you was like i'm never going to say good morning to anybody else again. She was like. Oh that weird. I would never say good morning to her and i'm like damn that's crazy, because i really didn't do nothing to this girl and you. I barely saw her like, i almost never saw her because she always worked morning shifts and as a new employee, they kind of put me everywhere in the schedule, so i almost never saw this girl like what's the beef mama, oh girl does not like me, um, Apparently - and i'm like okay noted so when i see you don't speak to me, don't smile at me don't hand me a hanger, don't hand me a bunch of pins, just close your eyes and mind your business. Okay cause, i'm not here for this high school drama. To rest, y'all on come to find out like a few weeks later, that the reason she doesn't like me is because her and joelle used to date like that used to be his girlfriend his girlfriend like his girl. You know what i'm saying, and i think she didn't like me, because she still kind of felt away about him um and before i came into the store she didn't have a threat at all. She thought that she could just take him back whenever she wanted. She thought that he was always gon na, be hers or something like that. So when i came in and he started to like me - and he was really on me - you know what i mean like she. She did not like that at all. So, instead of getting to know me and being like well, men are going to be men. She was just like. I don't like this [ __ ]. I don't like her. She got a nasty attitude. Almost things think that was old girl right. So now we're going to fast forward to i want to say a few months later, a few months, i'm working into this location in um, ketchup and mustard and obviously judy is still like she's, not grilling me when she sees me, but she avoided me a lot Like she of like she seriously made it her job to avoid me when she saw me um, so that was that there was no other issue with judy. As far as i know so, a few months after that um we all get called in for a meeting and they tell us like yeah. This location is closing down, so we're gon na have to like relocate you guys. So i'm like okay. They asked us where we wanted to go and for me logically, the place that made the most sense to go was the location that was nearby now when i transferred to this store, um half the store transferred with me, because it was such a big location and It was like one of the most important locations in that company um. I have to store transferred with me. Of course, i transferred to the store actually a little bit later than everybody else, because when the store closed down, i think it was around november-ish and i actually was going on a cruise. So after i came back from the cruise, that's when i first started working at location number two, so i started working at location number, two, i'm in the same department. You know some of my same co-workers from the last store. Is there so i'm getting to know them, i'm a lot more comfortable than i would be if this was like a brand new job or i didn't know anybody, nothing like that. Obviously, when you transfer to like a different location in the same company, you have to get to know the staff there. My managers at the last store were interesting um. They were interesting. They also had a lot of drama in between them and also in between the co-workers as well. I mean the um the sales associates as well, but that's not what we're gon na hear we're here to talk about anyway. This was like a brand new group of um, a brand new group of managers. I think only one of them transferred over to this new location, so i had to get to know everybody. I was cool with most of the managers. I want to say, like all of them me as an employee, i never have an issue with authority um. I never question anybody's authority. Obviously some of them get in over their heads and you got ta tell them like hey man. It'S just boxes, we're just selling socks. It'S just bow ties, calm down, you know what i mean, but at the same time like i do my job i clock in i go to lunch. I clock out, i clock back in and i go home. That'S what you that's, what you're paying me for, and you barely paying me so i'm not here for the drama, i'm not here for the [ __ ], i'm really not, and that's how i am at all jobs. So i go whatever and i'm getting to know everybody and joelle. Is there okay? He transfers to the store with me. Judy is also there as well. I start to notice that number one judy still doesn't like me: okay, um and number two judy is becoming really cool with this one manager right um and for the sake of this story, we're gon na call this manager trina. I don't know why, but we're gon na call the trainer this manager. Her name was trina and me personally. The first time i met trina. She didn't have no issues with me like she didn't look at me funny. She didn't look at me weird. She wasn't all! No wear type timing with me at all, but i did notice that she was super cool with judy who, of course, we know did not like me at all. That was that, right, a few months after i transferred to the store, like maybe like three months after judy stopped working at ketchup and mustard or she just stopped working at our location. But the point is she: wasn't there no more right, but i was still stuck with trina and let me tell you why i say i was stuck with trina. It came to my attention, of course, obviously from the source from the source. It came from my from from the source, you know, i'm saying joelle tells me that trina has been in his text messages. What are you talking about? Like literally one day him and i are going to starbucks for our 15-minute break because it was right across the street, so we go to starbucks we're talking or whatever he's like. I got something to tell you so i'm like what what's going on. He tells me that trina has been in his text messages, i'm like what you mean like. How is she in your text messages like? Did you give her your number like? How is she in your messages, so he was like. No, that was crazy. The crazy part is trina, went into the system for ketchup and mustard because she's a manager, she can access everybody's information, so she goes into the system and she pulls down joelle's information to text. Him now correct me if i'm wrong, but that sounds like a direct. A direct abuse of power, so he tells me like yeah. She pulled out my number from like all the contact, information and stuff like that, and she started texting me and i'm like yo like she can't do that. That'S like weird, that's weird he's like yeah. I know like so i'm like: why is she texting you like? Were you late or something like that? She wants you to pick up a [ __ ] he's like no bro at first. She texted me about picking up a [, __ ], but then, after that she started texting me like bear flirty with me. So i'm like what you mean, like you sure, you're, not just like you sure you're, not just overthinking this. You know what i mean like y'all know how men sometimes like to think everybody's flirting with them. Really nobody wants your ass for real for real, but i'm like are you sure about this, so he's like bro, she was dead flirting with me. She was like. So if someone saw your girlfriend because you always hanging around with them, so he was like talking to her - he was like no. But why are you asking me that and she's like i'm just acting because you know you seem to be so friendly with everybody in the store? So i just wanted to ask you what i'm saying i try to get to know my sales associates system. Third, so he's like: oh so you'll be texting, everybody she's like it depends on who it is. She never texted me. That'S what i'm saying so he's telling me like yeah like she was texting me and then i would try to stop texting her like. I would try to ghost her and she literally would like keep texting me. So i'm like what the f like what um, as the days are going by like trina, is texting him more and more often and she's, making it very clear that she's pushing up on him like very, very, very clear that she's pushing up on him she's texting Him late at night, all this type of stuff like she's, and then there became a point where she became so bold that she started texting him like actual explicit stuff right. So one day him and i are again on our 15-minute break and we're at starbucks and he's like. I got something else to show you and i'm like what now what what is it? What what is it so he's like? I got a picture for you and i'm like a picture like what what kind of picture he tells me trina sent him a picture last night. So i'm like a selfie like what so he's like. No, he pulls out his phone. He opens his text messages and there go trina and her bra and panties okay and it's not to say like that, was anything bad because trina was like thick like she was very big. So there was nothing like off-putting about the picture at all, but it was also like. Why are you taking pictures of yourself and sending it to sales employees? You know what i mean like it's just like you're crossing, so many lines right now gang like that's that [ __ ] is weird so after that i'm like that's crazy, like she really wants you like she's, really on you so now. At this point, i'm asking him like: are you interested in her like? Did you ever give her some type of indication that you want her he's like? No to my knowledge, i never ever ever gave her any indication that i wanted her. I never tried it with her. I never flirted with her. I never touched her in any way, so i don't understand why she keeps doing this and i'm like okay, okay, all right! First of all, let's not act done if you're not directly texting somebody back and you're, not like i'm, not interested in you like. Can you stop like? This is really weird? It'S making me uncomfortable like they're gon na feel like they can keep doing stuff like that. So, let's not act done, see what i mean, so i kept telling him like you have to tell this girl like stop like it's getting weird, it's getting weird! It'S weird so mind you, oh yeah, not that this is really important, but trina was like older than joelle by like a few years um. I want to say at least like five, so it kind of just felt like she was on some like cougar type timing, which is like do what you got. Ta do baby girl, but leave kids out of this yeah. So i'm telling him like yeah, like you, really have to say something to her because, like ah it's getting weird um. So then, after that, like he did tell me that he felt like if he said something to other management that they were going to retaliate on him um and they were gon na believe her over him, which is something that does happen a lot. Unfortunately, in companies like they would rather believe the manager over the subordinate, so he did not want to lose his job and he really didn't want it to seem like he was the one messing with her. So he just didn't say anything about it. Um. He kind of like just kept her at like arm's reach a little bit we also had - and here here comes the part where she tries to be funny and set me up. We had another friend and um we're gon na call. This friend we gon na call this friend sarah right. We had a friend named sarah who had started working with us at the first location of ketchup and mustard before they closed down right, so sarah transferred to the second location with us. So it was me joelle and sarah. We were like three musketeers, like always together when we had the same shift like always always always together. Sarah was really cool. She didn't bother. Nobody like roku girl. Sarah also hung out with joelle a lot so joelle, and i were i don't think i mentioned this but joelle and i were like always together like when you see me, you see him type, [, __ ], like literally all the time like that was my homeboy And everybody knew it joelle and i were always together, but sarah and joelle were always together too, when i wasn't around. Basically, what i'm trying to say is that everybody could see that sarah was also close to joelle and because trina was trying to get with joelle. She really didn't like that, and so she tried to be funny. She actually was funny because she succeeded in what she did. So i remember sarah telling me like yeah, i really don't like trina like she's trying to be funny and i'm like what's wrong. She'S like she noticed that me and joelle was hanging together and ever since then she started doing little [ __ ]. To get me in trouble, i'm like little [, __ ] like what so she was like if i'm in a corner and i'm like texting my phone because there's nobody on the floor and we're not busy or anything like that like she would literally like put your Phone away, you're not supposed to be on your phone you're not supposed to be on your phone bro everybody at the store, was on a phone all the time like all the time, every all the time you hear me, so nobody ever really got in trouble like That for being on their phone, even though they weren't supposed to so for you to tell me, like oh, put your phone away, put your phone away, you're trying to be funny. I was like so what else like what else is going on? Can'T just be that and she's like no like it's other stuff too, like literally she's written me up twice in the past two weeks. She said one time is because i took too long. My 15., i took like a 20 or 25.. She was like she wrote me up, because i took a little too long and i was like damn that's crazy and she was like yeah and the other day i came in late. I will admit i did come in late and then i came in late again and she wrote me again. I was like oh well, i mean that was your [ __ ] girl, so she was like yeah. No, i understand, but she's really trying to be funny and she was like how i know she's trying to be funny. She pulled me aside one day and she was like so what's going on with you and joelle, because i always see you all together. I always see y'all laughing you'll be hugging him and stuff like that, like you like him, like what'd, be going on with y'all, sarah was telling me she looked at her like what are you talking about like, so what i'm trying to say is that basically um Old girl trainer was trying to press sarah about joelle because she wanted him um and so, after a while, she was just like yeah. That'S my friend like what type of time are you on? Like? I don't understand long story short. Unfortunately, sarah did show up to work late again, trina got clipped, she literally fired her. She fired her. She got that girl fired. I understand you being late. A few times is like unacceptable you're not supposed to do that you're supposed to come and work on time. There'S a write-up system, there's policy, but the reason it was so like you're grindiest is because people had done way worse things at this job. Right people had done way worse things at this company that they should have been fired for, but they weren't fired for it. So there were people like literally like stealing. Under the table, there were people who literally were like doing grown adult things in the stock room like there were people who literally hit out in the stockroom the whole day to avoid completing their shift like there are things that people really should have been fired for, But i the way trina was really trying like any little thing. Sarah did. She was trying to clip her and she was trying to clip her because she's trying to eliminate the threat of another girl being around joelle after um sarah got fired. I was obviously like very irritated by trina, like extremely irritated, like you think, you're funny, yeah yeah watch. This watch watch me work. Turn me up turbo for real for real turn me up after that happened. I literally started to be so petty, like extremely petty, and am i proud of this? No am i disappointed in myself? No uh. Let me tell you why, because at your big, big, big, big, big age, you should not be playing these games with a girl who's. Literally, like eight years younger than you after this, i started being wild petty to this girl, like literally so petty. Like any time it was me joelle and her working the same [ __ ] and she would come towards joelle, and i was near him. I would literally just take his hand and turn away yeah cause who cuz what no you're not gon na, be near my friend at all anytime. I would see her coming towards him to say, like oh, you about to take your prank i'll, be like yeah. We'Re gon na take our break, and i would just take him and walk up. They were like now. I know for a fact that sarah was a lot more passive than i was okay. I am not a passive aggressive person, i'm very calm. I stay to myself, i'm not my business. I don't start no drama, especially not in the workplace. Okay, i'm here for a check, no matter how little the check is, i'm here for the check and i'm going home, like i just told y'all, so i wasn't on no drama. I wasn't on aware [ __ ], but at the end of the day, yeah i'ma get vengeance from my friend, okay, i'm gon na protect her anna because you try to be funny. I'M gon na do my big one for real, so i really was trying to be petty to her like she anytime, i was around. She never had access to joelle, not in front of me over my dead body. Obviously, she started to notice that, like at the end of the day, if it came to choosing me between choosing me and choosing her joelle would always choose me every single time, every single time baby. It'S always going to be me. It was never going to be. She started to notice that, and i think she started to feel like offended by it, but she also couldn't say anything because i'm not the type of person that you could address in a way. That'S not respectful um, especially if you're doing something that you know. You should not be doing, and you know that i know you should not be doing sad thing like don't play with me like that, so she never approached me. She never said anything like. Oh, what are you and joelle like she never asked me, no question. She kept trying to make small talk with me. She kept trying to be friends with me for some reason and no ma'am. So every time she tried to make conversation with me, i was like okay and i'm kind of just like walk away like i would answer and i wouldn't be rude, but i would not engage in conversation with her. I'M not a fake person like. I really can't sit there and fake the funk with you like. I can't do it so i was like i would answer her, but i would not engage. I would not kiki. I would not laugh in her face ever um, and so what i noticed started to happen is that she not only started to have more conversation with me, but she started to come to my floor. More often, as i told you guys, i worked on the men's floor and trina was actually the manager for the another floor. She was actually a manager for another floor, and so i almost never saw her really um and so the days that i did see her. It kind of felt like she was always coming down to the men's floor like just hanging around the fitting room. Hey guys like i don't do it in here. You good like because all the managers had a breakdown of where everybody was located at every single hour. So obviously she knew where i was all the time. So when i was in the fitting room, she would come to the finger room when i was at the cash register, she would come to the cash register. Try to make some small talk with everybody, hey you guys doing. Okay, do you need any bills? Do you need any caddy changes, anything like that? Why is you here um, and she also knew that joelle would always come to see me when he was working. He never worked on my floor, but she would always come to see me so she knew that anytime. He was in the building and i was in the building. He would always be on my floor and near me, so she was always around one time stalking. This man, like stalking this man um, but then i realized that the reason why she was also lurking is because she was trying to get me fired, and i know this because, like i said she kept watching me more intently, like kept looking for a reason to Write me up kept looking for a reason to get me in trouble now i know some of y'all might be thinking like you might be overthinking this, like it probably wasn't, even like that. No, no, no, no one day, i'm in the stockroom and i'm going through like my portal, so i go in and i'm about to put in some pto right and as i'm about to go in and i'm about to put in some pto. I noticed that there's something wrong with the system, so she at the time, was coming into the stock room. So i'm like hey trina, like there's something wrong with the system like i'm, not sure. If it's my login, i don't know the problem is like. Can you can you see from your end and she was like no problem? She goes to computer and now she's logging in and stuff, like that, she's like what you about to do girl and i was like i'm about to take pto and she's like oh, you want to say pizza. I was like yeah, i am she was like. Are you doing anything fun and i'm again small talk, no girl, just just do it so she's logging in or whatever and she's, like you know what the other day i was in the system, and i was looking through your information. Why are you looking through my information? Why are you looking through my information baby? That'S weird, so she says yeah. I was looking through your information and i was like damn this girl. Never does anything wrong like you clock in on time, you take your breaks on time. You come back from break on time. You clock out one time you never overstay how long you're supposed to be here. You don't leave early. Why are you so meticulously going through my records like? What exactly are you looking for? What are you looking for and one thing about me, this noggin it be working okay, my brain it works so immediately. I knew she was trying to get me fired because what did she do? She tried to get sarah fired and she did get sarah fire. I mean, unfortunately, for sarah she was. She was laying [ __ ], but i'm never late, i'm never late to anything. I'Ve! Never been late to work, i've never been late to a date. I'Ve never been late to an appointment. I am not a late person, i'm a very timely person and i'm very type a so you're. Never gon na catch me slipping at any time. So she's, like yeah girl, like you, are perfect, you're spotless, your record is clean. You never got a right up like you are just like the figure of a sales associate, and i'm like i mean there's nothing for me to do wrong like i came here to do a job. I do my job and i leave like that's it really so she's like okay, okay, all right! Well, all right, just check in you're, weird you're! You are weird you're, weird you're, weird and you're, thirsty, like you're literally trying to get me fired because you're trying to be with my friend like girl, you need to get a grip. You need to come. You need to come to grips with reality. Okay, you need to touch grass touch grass. I was like ah you're you're out. I got ta watch you after that. I noticed exactly what she was doing and every single time i saw her. I would turn in the other direction unless she spoke to me directly about something that was related to my job. I would turn in the other direction. We have nothing to talk about sis like nothing. At all. One day i had like um, my shift was shorter than joel shift, and so i went to shake shack after that to eat and he came with me and he sat with me or whatever, until it was time for him to go back to the job and She was texting him and she was like relax like where you at, and he was like, oh, like i'm, i'm at shake shack with leah like she's, she's leaving and i'm on break. So i'm at shake shack with her he's like why she was like why you always wearing like you never want to be with me. You always leaving me for her. The day i was given in my two weeks. I gave in my notice or whatever, and then i came in to the job two days later for my shift and she came downstairs and she was like hey. We all happy. This girl is walking on certain times: yeah yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah cause. She was, she was getting rid of me right like she was so she was happy. So i was like hey and she was like um. She was like. I saw you putting the two weeks girl and i was like yeah i did and she was like. Okay.
