Clip-In Ponytail Extension Tutorial | Bellami

So today i'm going to be doing a very fun and simple video, and this is about a clip and extension. I'Ve done a couple of these in the past, but i kind of wanted to do an updated one. Today, we're going to be using the bellamy, it's a wrap, ponytail extension. This is a 20 inch wrap ponytail in color ash blonde. Now i do have a code with bellamy if you're interested in any of their products, i'm going to leave the code right here, for you guys and i'll also put it in the description as well. I'Ve been using their extensions for a really long time, and this is just a fun thing. I kind of like to put this in if i'm going out. If i hadn't washed my hair or i just feel like putting my hair up with a cute outfit or something like that, so i'm going to show you guys how to apply it, how to put it in and for it to stay. So, first of all, i'm just going to brush through my hair, which i have not done yet this morning, so i'm just going to brush through make sure to get any knots out of my hair. So this is more of a seamless, easy process. So i'm just brushing through making sure to get all the knots out because we will have to put our hair up. So obviously you want it to be as easy as possible, so i have a lot of hair, so i started using these hair ties. They'Re kind of like really flexible, hair ties and they hold my hair a lot better. These days um. I can link these for you guys as well and like they expand very far, but if you want to put them back together or make them smaller, you just put them in hot water. It'S super super cool, so i'm gon na be using these today. To put my hair up and then we're gon na put the extension in so first i'm just gon na work on getting my hair up and since i have a lot of hair, sometimes i have to use a comb to guide my hair through that process. So i'm just going to go up and up and up with the comb, making sure that the part is the way that i want it. I always prefer my hair to be pushed all the way back with this part, so i'm just going to do that and continue to build up until i get a really high ponytail. Just remember that when you're putting in a clip, in extension, it is a little bit heavy, so it may weigh down your hair so try to get it as high as possible if you don't want the ponytail to start falling down. So i'm just going to put my hair up with my little cute scrunchies and for this specific thing, i'm going to use two and i'm gon na squeeze. So, as you can see a cute ponytail, but i feel like it's a little bit short and it just feels like not full and it's just like not cute. So i'm going to just brush the ponytail making sure everything is in its place and we want this to blend out well, so try to make sure that your actual ponytail is brushed out. So i'm going to take my wrap extension out, i need scissors crap. Let'S see if i have scissors in here, one sec, okay, so i open up the beautiful wrap and it has this cute little bow in it um, and it also has like the wrapping around it as well, so we're gon na take it out of the wrapping. Oh, oh, oh! What'S going on what's going on? Oh, i see okay, it's like i haven't done this before all right, so we're all done unwrapping it getting it unboxed. So i would suggest brushing through the ponytail very very good before we start the process, making sure that everything is like down um as you can see on the inside. So this is important to know probably the most important part to know, as you can see on the inside. There are these little clips here, where you're going to attach to your hair type, so these are going to go underneath the hair tie to secure otherwise you're, probably going to have some issues and it might fall out. Also, if you notice there is a additional piece here. This is the wrap piece. So this is the piece that you're going to use to wrap around the ponytail, so that kind of hides the extension. So i zoomed in for you guys, so you can kind of see how i do this. I hope this helps. I can only put my head down so far. I wish i had like a camera crew on me right now um, but i'm just going to take this piece and i'm going to hook it like so into the ponytail and make sure that it really gets in there, because otherwise, your extension will fall out so Make sure that it gets underneath the hair tie. You can even push it as hard as you want to just secure that spot you're, going to see your additional piece on the side here. Just leave that for now so now that i'm all secure i'm going to take that piece of hair and i'm going to wrap it underneath the original ponytail make sure that it gets all the way underneath. I know it's kind of hard, but pull super super tight on that extension and go around all over again and make sure that you're covering the actual extension. You don't want people to see that so you're going around and you're wrapping wrapping wrapping until it looks like seamless like so and as you can see, the extension is not visible at all all right. So now i have the extension in and i just want to note that if you want to secure this top part, you should probably put a bobby pin in and i don't have bobby pins. I literally just looked everywhere for them, but make sure to put bobby pins in that area so that when you're, turning your head left and right that you can actually make sure that everything is not going to fall out, because that's super super important. So this is what the ponytail looks like it's more full. I just blended in with my original, obviously real hair, and it just looks so cute. I feel like it's giving off like ariana grande vibes, very, very pretty, and it's something easy to do. If you haven't like washed your hair or you have greasy hair, it's probably a lot easier to do with greasy hair. To be honest with you, so yeah that's pretty much it with this clip.
