Becca Jurado: You don't need extensions for this hair style, extensions are just meant to make the hair longer. Yours is already long enough it's best with a thinner hair band and a different type of clip. I used to do this in middle school, when I would wrap my hair around the ponytail I'd secure it with something similar to a "butterfly clip" because you can't see it in the back. But on another note LOVE your hair!! I normally don't like to cut my hair, except when I'm pregnant lol I had about 4 trims in 8 years then got pregnant with my son and cut it half off, it was down past my butt and I got it cut to a little above my middle back. Just got another trim recently and now back to growing it out ☺️

Chigra Shark: First of all there's nothing wrong with your ears! To do this style you need to secure it with a much thinner elastic band, styling product will help you get it smooth, once you have your high ponytail you need to separate out a small section to do the wrap. Wrap the hair around the band and when you have enough hair covering the elastic pull the end of the wrapping section back through itself underneath the pony. There are special tools sold that can do this or you can make a tool yourself but that's a whole separate video. Then, what I do is spray the crap out of the wrapped part. It holds for me without having to pin it or anything but you could use bobby pins to secure it under the pony.

IDIOT SANDWICH: You don’t need extensions you just don’t have enough support to hold the bump part. Multiple hair ties stacked on each other to create that base then wrap the hair around. Also a bristle brush to smooth the back AND 150% more hairspray and a little oil on the ends to make them shine.

Mama Belle: You don’t need extensions at all!! I have naturally long hair, almost to my butt. And I do this style all the time, it’s actually very simple once you figure it out! This flopped because your tie was too wide & thick like a scrunchie, and the piece you grabbed to wrap around it was also too big, so it ended up looking bulky rather than sleek. Also, I’m not sure if you wrapped the whole piece around and around, all the way to the end? That would result in a lot of bulk too, given how long your hair is. So to get the look, you need a much smaller, skinnier, flat hair tie. Tie your hair upside down, and use a brush and product to get it as sleek as you possibly can. Take a small piece from the underside of the ponytail, comb it out smooth, and carefully wrap it tightly around the elastic, ensuring it stays smooth and lays flat. Stop wrapping when it looks the way you want, and secure the piece of hair with a few bobby pins underneath the ponytail. Again, ensure it’s tightly secured, since you’re essentially using your hair as a hair tie! Last but not least, and this really depends on your hair type, but sometimes it can still look too flat - when that happens, you can give it more volume by lifting up the pony, clipping a medium sized claw clip in the back, just underneath your elastic or mostly under the elastic with like one prong of the clip above the elastic going into the ponytail. When you let the ponytail down, the clip will have a bump-it effect and boost the pony up a bit. Then you just smooth your hair to conceal the clip and boom! Gorgeous! Remember too that this technique, wrapping hair around your elastic, works with any kind of ponytail. Pigtails, high ponies, low ponies, side ponies and mid ponies. It even works to conceal an elastic at the end of a braid. It’s a very useful trick to take an easy hairstyle and fancy it up a bit, comes in clutch for special occasions. A low pony with hair wrapped around the elastic is exceptionally easy and looks very glamorous!
