Don't Forget To Live Your Extra Life.

Hello, beautiful wolf cuts are out and Butterfly cuts are in. Maybe they can co-exist, they're, both really cute and they're, both really fresh - and it's too soon to let the wolf cut go. That haircut is way too entertaining they're, more or less a very similar haircut, but the butterfly cut is an adaptation to the wolf cut right. It'S a little more escalated, a little more elevated today I'll be teaching you how to do so. Basically, this haircut is going to give you a lot of face framing layers. It'S going to be beautiful. It'S gon na be boom like this boom. Like this stunning, we love layers, it is the vibe. It is the moment, and it is going to stay the moment for a while. You are going to have a lot of layering in the back as well, whereas the wolf cut really maintains those layers in the front area, and then it does get a bit more. Shaggy in the back, this one is a little bit more, even just tiny little details that have been changed. It'S gon na look like this and like this gorgeous, let's do it. Hello, hello, Miss Manny Quinn. You look stunning today and guess what it is um. You are getting a cute haircut. I know it doesn't happen that often where you guys get to not get something bad done to your hair today, you're the chosen one. How do you feel about that great anyways? So what you're gon na need in order to do this little butterfly cut project baby is a few things. The first thing is wet hair. Yes, that means you watching trying to do this haircut. You also need to wet your hair. You are not exempt from that rule. Is the microphone on me. A Hello wet your hair because I already know so many of you are gon na watch this and then not wet your hair. If you wet your hair, it's going to help make the haircut more precise. It'S gon na be easier for you. You'Re gon na actually be able to cut through your hair without it being a huge annoying issue. Like I see all the time in these videos where people try the stuff, I tell them to do and they don't do it right and then they don't listen to my directions and then everything comes out wrong and then I feel bad and everything is bad. Um. Sorry, her hair is wet great awesome, guys we're doing good so far, now, obviously we're gon na calm this out beautiful the supplies. You'Re gon na need a comb. Why my using a white one on a white wall? It'S not very good for this, but I also don't feel like getting another one, so we're gon na use this today. This one is great see that one has big teeth and little teeth. It helps you cut hair easier. You can section with these teeth and you can comb with these teeth. Well, they both comb, but you know what I mean scissors hair cutting scissors would be best just get something: that'll actually cut your hair. Two of these, you probably have these, hopefully you're, going to use both of them. That'S great awesome, optional moment it's an optional moment. If you want to over achieve in this haircut, and you have very thick hair thinning shears are a friend when you're doing a layered. Look and you're only doing two really quick Cuts. These babies are essential. You can get those cheaply too somewhere. I don't know, do your research. Do I look like a researcher? Do you no, I'm a hair cutter? Do you want to see how to do the haircut now, I'm doing it okay hold on? We are going to comb all the hair forward from the Apex, so gorgeous easy. If you don't know what the Apex is, it's the highest point of your head and you can find it if you just lay something flat on the top and you see where it touches. So I'm going to comb all of that forward from there. This doesn't need to be perfect. You know, obviously take your time with it. Babe don't rush it, but you're doing great so far, and I'm just really proud of you. I just turned this way towards me: that's her nose we're going to go from the Apex to behind the ear gorgeous. Okay, I'm gon na do the same thing. On the other side, there we go that's right and that ladies and gents, and everything in between that is our first section. Oh, your hair is very soft as many brand. What have you been doing? We got that all good all pulled tight, looking fabulous and I am going to use my small teeth on the comb and I'm going to make this all nice and flat to the head. I'M pulling everything now to the middle of the Brows. You do want to look like a unicorn that is, when you know you've done this section correctly, make that as flat as possible, as straight as possible. Take our elastic. What am I telling there babes now? As you can see, this is already very similar to The Wolf cut, except the wolf cut. If you remember how to do that, one correctly, because nobody really knows how to do it correctly, you just pull all the hair into one up here. This one is a bit more, this one is less, so that's what we're gon na do we're gon na keep it that way and then on the back. Do some push-ups before you do this, because you got to lift the hair right up, grab the hair and we're gon na do a really high pony right to the Apex, the highest point of the head. If there's one thing you ever learned from me, it is the word Apex. Actually I don't want the diffuse only thing you learn from me: it's kind of lame. I want you to be able to be the best hairdresser for yourself ever that's my goal, for you. Throw that hair tie in there girl. We are already on step three. We are rolling and moving and grooving, and it is going fast that is our sectioning baby girl. This is what you should look like: half unicorn, half pony kind of vibing with it all right ready to cut. I need you to do a little meditation for me before you. Do this a little breathe in breathe out and a little bit of, like concentration, needs to be involved with this. Just like don't mess it up. Okay, and hopefully your hair is still wet if it isn't grab a spray bottle or something I don't know figure it out now what we aren't going to do when we start cutting is go like this and cut. We did put this at an angle on purpose and we want to cut in that same angle. Continuing that line not like this. That'S very important. Are you listening now with the wolf God and with the butterfly cut? It is so essential that you take enough hair off. I do see it so many times where people will just give themselves a trim with these. Like this, that's not enough hair. This is not going to be visible when you let it down what you have to do. Is you have to cut off a significant amount of hair to see this haircut really come to life, but I do want you to work your way up. This sectioning is super easy. You can start off small. You can cut off two inches at a time and work your way up. You definitely don't need to do the whole boom. Nine ten inches off at once. So do experiment with it. Do not do it all at once and don't tell anybody that I told you to do it if it looks terrible yeah, don't do that. Just we'll! Just shoes keep it between us all right, but she's going to get a significant amount of hair off because she wants it. I'M going to cut off this much more all right! That'S like two three inches, oh yeah baby. The first cut has been accomplished. We did it, we did that together and you you slayed. Next, we are going to try to cut off the same amount of hair instead of going all the way up. We are going to bring this one a little bit forward and this one I am going to cut off the same amount of hair so about four inches. You can use your fingers to measure Hair by the way two fingers is on average about an inch. So I'm going to try and cut off about four inches off of this top while directing It Forward like this, you can't see anything Kenya whoa. We did the cut congratulations. It is not easy all right and then we're gon na let this down and we're gon na see what's going on. If I don't like it, we can do more. You know I will show you in real time. If I don't like it. Oh I like it. Oh, this is enough layering for me, you will see how much more dramatic. In my opinion, this cut is than the wolf cut. Do you see how sure you don't see anything, do you? Well, you will see it when I'm dry, but her layers go up to about here. It is very much textured. It is giving life to her hair. Okay. Now, let's take this front section out: let's let this go and let's see those face, trimming layers. Oh look at this: that's what we want parting in the middle or wherever you part your hair. Let'S get that in there fierce fierce fierce. This haircut gives you a lot of face ring layers. Now, let's just Connect the Dots here all right. This is the last and final step see how this in the front is a bit shorter than the layering in the back, and we have this kind of like we're just gon na subtly get rid of that on an angle just connecting it. Don'T do too much. Please just do a little boom, stop stop cutting. Now we are connected. Some of you may already be connected like this. It is very subtly like it is actually connected, but I just want to smooth that transition out a little bit more from the front to the back of her hair. We'Re obviously going to put in some force-filled heat shield, to style our hair to protect her hair from any kind of heat damage. Angela maker style lasts forever, while she's in the closet, okay and then we're gon na put in some salty sea salt spray, because this is just my go-to when I want gorgeous glamorous texture and volume and sexiness. Yes, I use this for blowouts not just to scrunch the hair, but if you do want to wear your hair natural, oh salty, is that big, including also wave Tech but salty, like girl, she looks hot. I'M gon na blow dry this in today to get such a glamorous blowout with texture and volume and sexiness all around, because a hair whoa I'm getting really into I'm getting really into this. With a haircut like this, you need that volume, the texture that life that body in the hair. Well, it's just not gon na come alive. Let'S see if I can do a middle part today yeah. What do we think middle part good enough? We'Re gon na? Do a quick little Halo section, because that is how I love to blow dry. These looks just makes everything so much easier boom took me. Two seconds bam gorgeous. Oh girl. She looks fine as hell. The look is almost complete, but let's top it off with some Viper smoothing oil just because like who doesn't love ton of shine in their hair, and this just adds that perfect amount of, like oh hydration, without making it oily and weighed down it's going to scrunch That in there, oh, my God, I can't even handle the amount of volume and texture and body she has and look at this face framing. Oh damn, honestly wow new favorite haircut. Most definitely now, if you have extremely thick hair - and it is looking a little bit chunky in Parts, you can definitely take some thinning shears and I like to just kind of look at where the chunkiness is. She doesn't have a lot of it, but if it was chunky I would just go in there and about two inches up from the ends just thin. It out. This helps blend anything that isn't Blended like if we see a part that looks a little bit too, like blocky we're gon na go in there and just get rid of some bulk. This is also a nice thing to do to these like face trimming layers, because it makes it even more wispy and gorgeous. It really just depends what the look is that you're going for. I am going to keep her really bold and big, though like because I just think her face really suits this look. This is the final look. I could not be more obsessed so, as you can see, with the butterfly cut you're getting this extreme amount of layering in the front, and if you blow dry this all inwards, you would get like even more than what you're seeing right now. But look at this like oh hot, and it really holds the shape of a blowout and in the back you're gon na see all of that body and that movement and these shorter layers up on the top you're. Getting that extreme amount of layering you're. Getting that face framing in the front you're keeping that length intact. I just can't stop touching it. I'M obsessed this style, I know, is going to be huge huge. Thank you. Miss many Quinn you're dismissed. So that is how you do the butterfly cut. I cannot wait to see you guys try this on your own hair and if you end up trying it, I would love for you to record a video and show me it is so much more exciting watching you do this than me doing this here in the Studio like I want to see your creations and who knows you might just be in a hairdresser, reacts For Better or For Worse. If you want to check out any of the products used in today's video, they are all linked below for you. You can also check out all of my products, my hair color and my hair care products at xmodelhair.com. That is all for today, guys, thank you so much for watching and don't forget to leave your extra life and I'll see you next time. Bye.

Stephanie Griffin: Brad makes these videos just so he can react to more people obliterating their hair at home... and I'm here for it.

They.Call.Me.Sarita: Brad is literally one of the best content creators. He pumps out so much content regularly and yet I can't think of any video I didn't enjoy. It's always fresh, fun, and new and that's gotta be flippin hard to pull off. So much love and respect for Brad ❤

C. Wall: JUST DID THIS!! My hair was below my boobs, I cut at least 6 inches-maybe more like 9. THE VOLUME!!! THE TEXTURE!!! I LOVE IT!!! MAYBE I LOVE YOU MORE!!!!!!!

Taylor Grace: Goddammit Brad, you dropped a video RIGHT when I got out of the shower, with wet hair. And this haircut is exactly what I want. DAMMIT BRAD NOW I HAVE TO IMPULSIVELY TRY IT Update: remarkably hard if you have thick hair. I recommend 3 sections, not 2. I have a bit of a shelf-situation in the back of my head. Great for face-framing layers though.

vinswotter: Who else wants to see Brad put on a wig and make a tutorial that way? I love these tutorials, and my hair looks great now thanks to another one of your videos, but it is so much harder to this on your own hair!

Barbara Bond: Because of you, Brad, I just did something I haven’t done since my 30’s…I walked into my bathroom at 1am, grabbed the hair scissors, comb and elastic, and lopped off my way too long hair. I was debating the wolf cut, but when I saw this I knew it was what I wanted. I love it!

cobainbabe 𓆩♡𓆪: Hey Brad! Love your videos, I'm BEGGING you to do a Courtney Love Haircut (1994-1995) tutorial. I've yet to find a name for her hairstyle during that time period and I really want it.

Cillie ME: As a retired stylist I love watching your vids. You bring me the latest trends which helps me keep up with things. If I took a class it would be a couple hours of time wasted and I can easily expand on the cut if I chose too . It gets my creative side stimulated.

doljdowj: i wish brad mondo would do more hair tutorials for curly hair

Louise Barrowman: It's the 'Rachel' cut doing it's rounds again! I had this way back when and I loved it!

Just Me: Its literally a longer version of the Rachel haircut!! I loveee the layers and face framing pieces!! SUPER flattering and timeless!!✨

Emily Mae: The internal struggle of wanting lots of layers but also wanting to easily be able to put my hair in a ponytail/bun without short pieces sticking out

Mintee: This is actually the haircut I've been doing for myself since I was a child, and kept getting compliments on. Because I did not know how to do it efficiently, it took me hours every time and made my hands feel like they are about to fall off. The very few times I was too lazy to do it myself and went to a hair dresser, I left disappointed. No one managed to do what I described, not even close. Now I can finally actually do it easily thanks to you! You are awesome Brad!

Catherine Spann: He just makes it look *so dang easy*

Æ: Hey Brad could you please do this again but on naturally curly hair? I feel like this haircut would work really well for me but I would like to see it on a similar hair texture as mine ❤

Maria de-flower me now: The internal struggle of wanting lots of layers but also wanting to easily be able to put my hair in a ponytail/bun without short pieces sticking out

Julia W.: Brad's instructions are always on point! I always learn a lot from his videos. I wonder how this haircut would look like on curly hair I'm desperate for some layers LOL

Amanda Wall: This is basically the cut I did for my girls a few weeks ago! They wanted to keep the length but adding all the layers helps it from tangling up (they're 9 & 5, very active). It also helps their hair dry naturally and took so much weight off for their waves to shine through!

saarroh ajam: I've always thought the other ways I've been seeing of getting this haircut looks too complicated to do myself at home but Brad came out here showing us the easiest way as always

Retro Tartan Kitty: Watching Brad have conversations with all the Miss Mannequins makes me laugh every time. I love it! I think it would be interesting and fun to see different makeup styles being applied at the end to give all the Miss Mannequins their own extra distinct and individual looks, or to give them specific looks for an event they may be going to that will go well with the hairstyle/cut. Have them fully "live their extra life" in a surprise reveal at the end. Maybe I'm the only one that thinks that would be exciting though. Even if that is the case, I know for certain that Brad would come up with great creative looks with makeup.

Ksu Kim: Would love to see hair do for very fine or thinning hair. Or even for people with bald patches like my mom. I have no clue what to do with mine.

tequila Highheels: So you're telling me that I've been doing the butterfly cut this whole time (since like maybe 2015 I think) here I was thinking i was just putting my own lil flare on it lol Love watching your videos I always learn so much from you and thanks for helping me not fry off my hair when I was going through my colorful phase

Sarah Ali: I tried this today and the ponytail in the back was very hard to do with thick hair, but the results are definitely worth the arm cramps, it does give you many layers and doesnt take much away from the length of your hair and it looks amazing, would definitely recommend

A S: I saw the butterfly cut on Pinterest and I said, “I’m gonna wait till Brad comes out with a how to.” THIS IS MY SIGN FOR A CHANGE BABY! Thanks so much for sharing and being awesome. Last cut I did was the shag from your tutorial and curtain bangs and I loved how my hair turned out. You’re the best. Thanks!

C*Bella =): I did it..5 mins ago.. and it looks beautiful!! I'm totally in love with the flying layers, when I look to the side thank you soo much!!

Fariha Rahman: It's truly amazing how Brad makes the tutorials so easier

Rainbows & Unicornssss~🦄: I love Brad's easy to follow tutorials!!! He's such a doll! LOVE YOU BRAD MONDO❤️❤️❤️

VicRo: I have thick hair, so I've always had layers in my hair. And I love them short. Gives me that volume and takes away my headaches. Lol I'm glad to know how I usually cut my hair has a name. And now I can finally do it on my own (I hope). Yay! Thanks Brad! Can't wait to try it!

Mackenzie Cowart: Thank you Brad for an easy tutorial. My hair already has this style but it grows really fast and I needed those dead ends to come off!!! A storm is headed this way so a lot of salons are closed….. so I had to do it myself! Turned out great and gave me back my wave and volume.

Delen Potter: This is giving “The Rachel” cut, and I’m obsessed

nandini Patel: I did this haircut exactly how he showed, and I think it turns out amazing guys. I just didn't do the last part where he cuts the front pieces more. Just don't cut too much at once. I did cut 4 inches and it was perfect. Thanks brad ❤

LatinKitchen1: I tried this cut yesterday. It was very simple to follow on my shoulder length hair. It looks fabulous! Thank you for sharing this video!!

Felix E: I am so excited I just gave my son a haircut for the first time. His hair is waist-length! I cut about eight inches off and the length is barely touched, just took the dead weight, maybe 2 inches but the layers are PERFECT. He has very thick curly-wavy kind of frizzy hair but with this cut the weight is off and it looks so healthy and the layers are just right for more curl and less frizz. So yeah if people are wondering this does work with curly hair, just remember when it dries it will be much shorter! My son is 17 and a HUGE fan so this was quite an experience. Thanks so much for giving us the confidence for this big change!

KaRessa Sherrod: I love all of these cut tutorials and how you pretty much sit is down for class. I just wish I knew if it looks good on curly hair. I have 3b-4A hair (I'm mixed) texture and I love having an edgy haircut to fit my aesthetic (goth) but for someone who has curly hair it is hard to find something that fits but is also curly hair friendly. You feel me? Like Brad, I did your wolf cut tutorial to the T and damn it looked good! Until... I washed it and let it air dry (don't always have a way to defuse my hair) and yo... ‍♀️ I looked like I was from the 80's with a shaggy mullet, girl that won't it and not CUTE. So, would a butterfly cut look good on textured hair? CAN WE USE A MANNEQUIN FOR DEMONSTRATION; VOTE TO NOT USE LIVING FOR THE TEST. Just in case it looks goofy and no one has to wear it. Idk maybe not waste a mannequin

L: I did it and I love it!! It’s so easy, the key is to just take your time and precisely part your hair and remember about angles!! Good luck on your haircuts everybody!!

Kristen Weiderman: I have long/thick layered hair and I always want the shortest layers possible (for volume) but I swear everytime I ask the hairstylist for them, they don't cut the top layers as short as I want. Maybe they're worried I won't like it, idk. But I love a long hair with MAJOR layers moment lol

Elizabeth Van Orden: BRAD! I had no idea what to do with my long, lifeless hair that was "the style" for much of COVID with curtain bangs, minimal layers, and super long. I saw this video on Saturday just before my haircut/color appointment and was like, "YASSSS!!!! Gen Z has once again adopted the best of my Gen X 1990s vibes!!!" I got my hair cut with a so-called "butterfly cut" at the salon on Saturday (my stylist was so excited because she loves this cut for its versatility and that it looks good on everyone) and it is almost identical to my cut from 1996. Color? Well, my hair lost its natural golden blond color when I had our son and went ashy dishwater blond so I highlight and tone it ashy blond, but I sent friends a side-by-side from 1996 and 2022 and everyone is obsessed. Day 3 oily hair with tons of layers after rollers and a ton of dry shampoo and I still am bringing 1990s supermodel vibes. This was the perfect video at the perfect time.

Kathleen Fulton: This tutorial is perfect!! Super easy to follow and my hair looks fab ‍♀️

Kourtni Wood: I love how energetic Brad gets when he does hair. Please do more of these videos! ❤️

Heismyrock3: Oh I can see this happening soon! I’m a hairdresser and have done so many wolf cuts, I love it. But I love this update and can’t wait to do this haircut!

Maryam F: I can’t wait to see a reaction vid to people trying this at home!

Sumer Kassim: I’d love to see something like this on 3B hair!! I feel like I want this cut but don’t know how it would look

Your Access To The Red Carpet!: I have my annual hair appointment in October and watching Brad give the tea on cutting your own hair at home made me want to rethink about canceling my haircut appt in October I have very long fine hair. Brad I’m loving your videos and your new hair with bandana. Totally bad ass!

Khalilah D.: I love this look! Just so many layers and looks so effortless! ❤

Arlette Oscos: I literally just tried it and it turns out AMAZING. Thank you for making these awesome and easy to follow tutorials ❤

Dar C: Been wearing this cut for decades. Love it. It’s great at several lengths too.

Zoe T: Okay I followed the tutorial EXACTLY and my hair feels and looks so good!! I was in desperate need of a refresh and I love it so glad you posted this today!!

j: i just used this video as a guide and cut my hair and it turned out SO WELL! the wolf cut wasnt bad but i love this way more. it actually looks almost like a professional cut whereas i feel like with the wolf cut it was very obvious i cut it myself.

Me: Love this!! Been wanting to cut my hair.. now have one to try thank you for always teaching us!!

Day Dreams: I just did this cut! I didn’t take as much off since I have thin hair but it gave nice face framing layers and I was able to get rid of my split ends. (Haven’t had a haircut since precovid)

LisaMarieC: I did this to myself today! It worked awesome I’m so happy with the look and it was so easy! Brad your amazing!! Very funny too been binging you lol thanks ❤

Heather Rowe: I just did this to my hair lastnight and I'm obsessed!! It's so pretty!

thatonegirlatlantis: BRAD! You’re a bad influence, now I want to do this! Edit: I tried it and im pretty happy with it!

Tara: Brad, can you do this cut but for starting out hairstylist? I feel like I can never get my client’s layers to look this good!

poptosc: Just did it...WOW! I have baby bangs but it still went really well!! My hair is hopelessly flat, super thin and super fine, and there's not a lot of it, so I didn't need to remove any bulk. BUT! Unbelievable.Thank you Brad!

Gina Denault-Martinez: Well that just made cutting my hair way easier. I have been layering my hair at home for over 10 years and it is a long 2 hour process everytime for my thick a hair. Thank you for sharing.

Sophie Serrão: I've been cutting my hair at home for years. I did this today and I LOVE IT

aleece4: I’m giving someone this haircut later today I was so confused when she texted me that she wants “a butterfly haircut” - so glad I found this video!

Tracey Ehlke: Dang it! I just trimmed my hair last night. I didn't know this was a butterfly cut. Makes me love it all the more. I might be going in with my scissors again!

Jerika Bermudez: Brad you are a genius! I just did it and I love love love it!! It came out better than expected ❤

Mazza Cheewanich: Love, love, love this style, wish my hair dresser will pull this out for me.

daughterofgorgias: I just cut my hair straight for the first time and now I see this video and I'm OBSESSED with this look. I will just wait for awhile for my hair to grow then follow this video. Thanks Brad you are AWESOME

A J: This was how I always wore my hair in highschool/college (2000-2006), if only I knew it was that easy to give myself those layers back then! I suffered some pretty hack jobs trying to get a similar look from our local (very rural) salon.

imamiiam: I just did this cut randomly at midnight and I'm feeling so fresh! Haha sorry but I didn't film it. I must say after I tied it up correctly the rest was pretty simple ☺Although even with wet hair my hair scissors had a fight to get through a tad hahaha. Thanks Brad for the easy to follow steps ❤

V V: This look is the result I was looking for but never knew the name to search, so I tried it by myself & ended up w/ the shaggy wolf cut lol But just in time, bc my hair grew out again & now I can actually do the haircut I wanted… Thanks Brad! Coming in clutch lol

Lynn Hankins: That is so beautiful, i just have 1 question Brad, can you do this butterfly cut on baby fine thin hair. I love watching your videos. They're so informative. Thank you for this and i look forward in your next video.

Anne Stephens: LOVE this cut! I have to grow my hair out again to do it though. I just chopped it all off about a month ago lol I did the wolf cut on myself before that and really liked it, but this is soooooo much more my style.

Karol Carruth: Brad, this is literally the first time I follow a tutorial and the result it is what I wanted!!!!! Thank you so much! ❤

Lisa Witowski: Brad, you are a hair god! I love watching how amazing you make Miss Mani look. ❤️

Holly Taylor: About 4 months i lopped my just above waist length (unicorn cut for the last 5 years too) hair off into a shoulder skimming straight bob. It's now about two inches past my collar bones (thank you vitamins and diet choices) and I'm REALLY leaning into this cut as my hair is growing out. Especially since I know the unicorn so well ..and well, obviously the shape of my head. Gonna go give it a go!! Soooo excited because I needed something to finally work to be able to roll back into layers - AND I'm a B on a budget Brad Mondo, you're the best wholeheartedly appreciate you.

ashley evaline: just finished the cut!! didn’t make a video but your directions were SUPERB, thank you brad❤️❤️

shimaa rageh: Omg Brad! This is genius and simple definitely going to try it

Delen Potter: Hello beautiful!!! I followed your Wolf Cut cutting tutorial, and after all the reactions you did to it, and have a video on my channel. I’d be so honored if you’d react to it!!! love you and the channel!!!

Kim McGuinness: I had a dream last night that I went to Brad’s house so he could do my hair. The plan was an inverted Bob and he convinced me it was dated and that I needed lots of short layers.. My hair is currently at my waist so yes, it was a nightmare. Ultimately I never saw the final product as my alarm went off, but I do remember him using bleach as I was falling asleep and seeing a comb with a bunch of my hair tangled it it. Also I cut my thumb and he was adamant that I didn’t get blood anywhere. I dunno… it was a busy time of life.

Sammyb and her makeup: Just watched this .. and my daughter wanted a haircut lol ... so I immediately called her to the bathroom.. showed her .. and did this cut on her and she loves it !!!! . Thankyou so much Brad

Meg Leo: You know a few months ago I thought I did a 2 ponytail wolf cut but I think I actually ended up doing this lol. What a trendsetter lol either way I love my hair now it feels so light and pretty :)

Neko :3: Thank you so much for these videos! I started cutting my own hair since the pandemic and because I simply can't afford it rn so these videos help a lot I have a wolf cut rn and it's amazing.

Emily Selsor: I cut mine but left my layers long and I couldn’t be more obsessed. I now know how I’m trimming my hair every time.

kayla warren: I love this so much more than the wolf cut! It’s perfect!

Alison Blanco: At the moment I was thinking, I need to wash my hair, Brad pops up with this iconic hair style, I have loose curls , fine strands and thickness so I'm always straightening my hair, not long back a person messed up my hair and I've been growing it back out slowly but I need my layers back! Especially face framing - I like the wolf cut but this butterfly cut is perfect. Yup- sold, I know what I'll be doing after I wash my hair

Dekiams: I've followed the other (more plain) no layers haircut tutorial several times, though since I have long hair, with help of other people. None of them have cut hair before and part of them don't even speak and understand English. But the instructions are always so easy to follow, that it worked perfectly every time and saved me the trip to the hairdresser. I'm not experimental and like to keep things safe and natural, but it doesn't keep me from watching the videos and I learn so much that I feel absolutely comfortable doing someone else's hair.

Amanda Valentine: Also! Super important to not “pinch” the hair when holding your section…the tension from your index finger can pull down more hair over you 0degree guideline creating more weight and sometimes uneven cut! Always have sharpened scissors and never go past the second knuckle when cutting

kamrin mccain: Curly girls!!! If you got 2c to 3a fine hair then it will look amazing haha!! I just did it and let me tell you it gave my hair so much volume. I am so in love ! Thank you Brad mondo

Mrs Marvel: I just did this. I needed a haircut so bad and I am out in the country on a Sunday. I thought why not.. If I mess up too bad, I will wear a hat and schedule with the salon This saved me time, money and looks great! Thank you Brad!

Lene: It looks great! I'm a fan of these ponytail based haircuts, but I'm afraid that the top layers could be disconnected if I do it myself.

MissKylaKy: This looks fabulous! I'm wondering how it would look on curls, tbh, and now I wanna do it...

Mimi: I tried this and it works so well! I just love the face framing pieces. I did cut them a bit shorter though outside of the ponytail. Thanks Brad for the amazing (and easy) tutorials you give us ❤️❤️❤️
