Foreign welcome back to my channel. My name is Amber. This is fabricating Fringe um. Today, I am so excited to talk to you about some active hair um, not just one but a few different options from um a brand, a company that is very Innovative and I'm just really impressed. I'Ve been following this brand and this gal for quite some time, and so I'm just absolutely thrilled to talk about it in this here video and um. You know just present my thoughts on it all and show you guys um and give you my my opinions on what I've discovered so far wearing some of the pieces, for example, this one right here I have been wearing non-stop um so anyway, without further Ado um. This here this here, uh active wig that I'm wearing is um from ancilia hair. This is the original workout wig and I I've been wearing this one non-stop. The thing is, she doesn't just have a workout wig, that's different from any gym: hair, ponytail, hair, workout wig. That I've seen online or tried, but she also has some other really cool items that I want to talk about and show you guys. So, first of all, let's, let's just talk about how this whole thing started, because that will give you guys a background of the company and why and why it's kind of set, apart from other things that are out there um. So she has active. She has an active wig line and it's a patent-pending wig line, um, it's different from anything I have ever seen or tried um. This whole line was thoughtfully designed by a Baldi herself, which I think is incredible, because a lot of brands that are out there um they haven't experienced hair loss themselves. So for something to be designed and put out there, because she wanted to. You know create something that was not out there in the industry that she could not find that she wanted um, that that says something to me and um. So she was very particular about what she was creating because she wanted something that could not be found that she wanted for herself. So oftentimes people who wear alternative hair. They feel like um. They can't do certain things, um they're, afraid their wig is gon na fly off. If they are at an amusement park, they feel like if they want to go on a zipline or if they want to go um on a river on a raft that they don't want to soak their wig or that it might fall off or that they're gon Na have to go bald, you know, and so there's all these fears surrounding alternative hair surrounding hair loss and hair wearing and what she she. What Allison wanted to do was create pieces and options where you can wear hair. You can feel that comfort and you know that it's secure. You know that it's going to work with you and it's going to stay put, so you don't have to think and worry about your hair. So just I'm just going to read this because I don't have it memorized. It says our ethically sourced fair trade, patent-pending active wigs are thoughtfully, designed by a Baldi to be secure, realistic and comfortable enough to sleep in. I can vouch for that this here, gym hair. I could wear all day long. My kids ask me they're like why are you putting that on you've been wearing that all day, I'm one to usually grab something different every single day, and I pretty much have been grabbing this daily since since I've gotten it because it's so easy, it's so fast. It'S so comfortable, I can hop in a bed and watch a movie with it. Usually, when I come home, I rip off whatever hair I'm wearing, even if it's fairly comfortable, just because it's more comfortable not wearing any hair at all, but this is this is comfortable and I could totally just you know, Lounge in bed with it on so anyway. On to what I was saying, um is comfortable enough to sleep in we operate operate by a philosophy of mission driven manufacturing. This means that every wig purchase gives Economic Opportunity to low income and low-income women working at our Factory in India. We also make sure anyone can access our wigs, no matter their income through our give program for every 10 wigs we sell. We give one away to someone in need. I think that's amazing. So let's do a little bit of back story on Allison. I think she's incredible, look you guys she's! So cute. Look at her um! I followed Allison on Instagram. Since I started Instagram. I swear. I followed her forever, so I started my Instagram back in like 2016 and I can't recall um how long ago I started following her, but it was. It was a long time ago, and so I'm not exactly quite sure when she started creating this hairline um. But I've followed it from the start and I'm absolutely thrilled to to try her products and share them, because I think it's incredible when somebody takes a need that they feel is out there a need that that they personally have and they they create something it it's. It'S amazing, it's absolutely amazing, so I commend her for that and I applaud her for that and I think it's it's just amazing. I think she's I think she's an incredible human being so Allison's story. It says my life changed unexpectedly when I developed alopecia universalis or total hair loss during my second pregnancy, I was determined not to let hair loss Define me or anyone else, but instead I found myself constantly checking my wig, for example, simple things like putting on sunglasses Or a mask became hard, which made me think about my hair loss: 24 7. frustrated with traditional, poorly made mass-produced wigs. I was inspired to design active, wigs that were incredibly secure, realistic and so comfortable. You could sleep in them so anyway, I think that's awesome. Why people need workout wigs many people with hair loss, go through life feeling, like they're, being stared at they're, afraid people know they are wearing a wig, that their hair looks fake or that the wig will come off. All these fears cause many people with hair loss to withdraw and isolate themselves um when a solution for coping with hair loss induced anxiety or depression is opposite going out into the world engaging and doing the activities they love. So it's true when, when you feel isolated when you're, when you fear those things it actually it's a spiral, so you want to get out. You want to do those things, and so you need to find that solution um anyway. It just goes on to talk about how Allison has met people throughout the years um who have stopped doing yoga, CrossFit, dance cycle, softball, Etc, because they couldn't find a wig solution. It was comfortable, secure and realistic um, so she felt inspired to make an active wig line for the hair loss Community to help people get out and do those activities that made them feel good. Okay, I'm trying to hurry um, there's just so much information and such great things about this line. So I really wanted to touch on her story, The the business the background and then also I want to talk about ethically produced, even when it's hard um, so real human hair, wigs are often higher quality and more realistic looking than their synthetic counterparts. We all know that right, but almost anyone who wears a wig or hairpiece can attest that there is something uncanny and intimate about wearing the hair of another person on the manufacturing side. Buying human hair um is still a scary, unregulated practice, fraught with risks in 2021. Allison had all the manufacturing of her human hair wigs stopped because um there were people in camps that were being forced into labor-making products, including human hair, wigs. She knew that there had to be better, more ethical ways to Source high quality hair for her active wiggling. So, for the next eight months, she redesigned ancelia hair's entire supply chain and Manufacturing ecosystem so that she could give the hair loss Community complete peace of mind. She started with the hair itself and hit upon the idea of sourcing Indian temple hair willingly given by Hindus who practice uh Taun stirring for religious purchases. She calls this ethically sourced peaceful human hair um from there. She set out to find a factory in India that only purchased her from Hindu temples and valued hair and safe labor practices. Once she found a perfect Factory partner for and sell your hair together, they formed a mission-driven manufacturing initiative, the economical advancement of low-income women in India. Her wigs are now handcrafted by women, whose only other employment option would otherwise be making tobacco products and hazardous conditions increasing their risk of cancer and other illnesses. Isn'T that incredible, like when I told you that Allison was amazing for creating the product? Now I'm like reading this - and I think she's even more amazing, for giving these people this this opportunity to to give these women this kind of employment um instead of making tobacco products and putting their self at risk. Um every incilia, hair wig purchase provides these women with Economic Opportunity and a safe, Fair working environment and in the U.S and worldwide. Our give back program allows us to offer comfortable active wigs to People in Need for every 10 sold. They give one away. So, first off, let's talk about this this here, wig that I'm wearing here this is called the original workout wig like I said this is patented um. This is, unlike anything, I've ever tried. Somebody might look at this and be like. I can find a workout wig on Amazon. You can't find a wig like this on Amazon. You can't number one, it's lightweight, you can sleep in it number two. It actually does look realistic, um. I went I washed it last night I hadn't washed it because I had worn this non-stop. I wore it to Lava Hot Springs. I wore it um in a my tube going down the river um. It got wet, I wore it in the hot pots and then we went um and we did what did what is it called? We did um go-karts and we got really muddy, and so it needed a good wash. But even even at that I ended up the first time I wore it. I I dressed it up with a pair of earrings and I put it up in a ponytail, and so even though it's meant for ACT, an active line, I wore it out um to a football game and it looked. You know kind of more dressed up anyway. Like I said I was I washed it last night and I was getting a closer look at the cap construction and it's stretchy material, but it's all fully hand tied. It looks like scalp, so if this, if this baby starts splitting, if you do split it, if you wanted to do something kind of um like I don't know, braids or um, you wanted to do any sort of creative styling it it's it's fully hand tight. It looks like scalp all the way around you can't get that I've never seen that in a gym, wig anywhere um. So not only is it super duper comfortable, but it's real it's hand tied it flows and moves like natural hair growth. So not only is this ethically sourced Indian temple, human hair, but it's peacefully preserved clean hair, no silicones or textile dyes. This partial wig base is hand tied and attached to a headband. It is lightweight breathable, secure and ultra realistic. This original workout wig has a memory headband design to stretch with you, while staying put during high intensity workouts. So it's not gon na go anywhere. While you are doing major extreme activity, you have an ultra breathable cooling spandex base, and then you have a double lined mesh that is breathable. It doesn't itch and that's what you need when you're doing workouts, when you're being active when you're sweating, you don't want to itch, you don't want to feel irritation. So another cool thing is that you have this unique pull system so to tighten this piece to make sure it's nice and secure and it doesn't go anywhere, you can you pull it and it gets tighter, see that and then you tuck it back up inside. So this thing stays very, very secure on your head. You adjust the tightness, easily lickety-split, you can style the wig any way you want. Honestly, you could wear it down. You could style it down, but I have always worn this up. I'Ve worn it in Top Knots, messy buns, I've worn it in Clips, I've worn it in ponytails um. Like I mentioned, I I washed it yesterday. It dried beautifully overnight had lovely um natural waves, the way that it air dried and then I used a curling iron and look how it took that curl beautiful beautiful curl pattern. It took the curl really really well, it's soft, it's silky! It feels fantastic. Now, I'm going to quickly take this off to show you guys the underside um, it's just amazing. I wear this like non-stop, so here's that hair and to show you guys, as I was washing getting a closer look at this when it was wet um. You know it's just like fully hand. Tied, looks like scalp right. There see that right there, but then you have this stretchy area that's also hand tied, see all this right here. Hand tied, but it's stretchy stretches around your head, but, as you can see, look at that all hand, tied hairs looks like it's growing out of your scalp, but this is all like stretchy amazing, meshy, breathable material. This is like the most incredible Cap: Construction, um, very comfortable, stretchy headband. I mean this is soft. It feels like the most comfortable pair of yoga, pants you've ever put on for around your head. That'S what it feels like and then down here. It does cinch together and you have this - this pull system that that kind of tucks up inside how amazing I love this gym, hair. I think it's, I think it's amazing, so this is kind of getting long. I was hoping to be able to share um. All of her pieces in one video I might need to cut it into two segments just because this is this. This video is getting long um. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to um Stop This Here. Video I do want to mention. You can get a discount using a code fabricating Fringe 10. I'll have that down below I'll have links down below um. I do want to also mention I will have the rest of her line in the next segment. The next video part two um, because there's some pretty amazing things that she has that she has created um just super amazing. I'M gon na talk about them, they're back here, so because this is long because I had a lot to talk about. I am going to stop this video and start a new one, so you guys can check that out, but this here is what I've been wearing non-stop um, because I was actually waiting for the correct size um of this other, this other product, but um this. This gym wig is very, very much my style, I'm a busy mom and it works for me it it's amazing. It'S incredible highly recommend I love the human hair um. I love that it's ethically sourced, I love the concept behind it. I love how how well it's made um and I I think that it's just, I think it's a great product so anyway um. Nina Rose: What I love about this is the discussion surrounding ethics. I NEVER see this spoken about and it’s actually one of the reasons I’ve stayed away from purchasing human hair wigs. Unfortunately brands never seem to be transparent or ever discuss the source of their hair and that to me should be considered and questioned, yet I just don’t see people discussing it in the wig community.

LD: Oh, I’ve been looking for a review on these lately ! Thank you so much

Becky Finley: Great review! I am looking forward to your review of the other products.

Sherry Batson: Human hair, darn. This means cost preventive and no grays.

Jenna Briggs: If you wear a wig for exercising presumably you need to wash it after due too sweating?

J & S: This is wonderful and there is a HUGE market for this style and cap construction.. unfortunately my excitement is over after seeing the price. $1200! For a headband wig. Doesn't look like many that are in need will be able to afford this. Wish the box brands wld make one similar with synthetic and better price point
