Get Frizz Free, No Heat Curls / Waves | Erica Henry Johnston

Hey everyone. This is Erica Johnston and welcome back to my channel in today's video I'm going to review Brad Mondo's five-step program to having beautiful, wavy hair. So if you're interested then keep watching so a couple of years ago, when I still had my silver hair, I found a video by Brad Mondo showing how to get gorgeous waves without the crunch. There'S no frizz at the top, and if there is please get it down before it, air dries because that will not be cute again. Wavetech is going to give you very very light hold, but it's going to Define your waves. I know that's kind of a weird mixture like it doesn't have hold, but it also defines, but once you use it you'll understand so I've really love this wavetech foam. I ended up purchasing a couple more bottles, as I was starting to think about getting my YouTube channel up and running again. I thought I should be an affiliate for their company because I love their products and I'd love to be able to promote them. To my viewers, so I went onto their website and I wanted to purchase the wavetech bundle so that I could review it for you and then sadly, I found out that they only ship now to the US yeah. I was really bummed. I ended up reaching out to their marketing department and asking them about this, and I was like oh please. I hope that you're going to be shipping to Canada again soon and and they were really kind and they said that they're working on it, but they kindly mailed out the wavetech bundle to me so that I could at least try it and and review it. For you, for those of you who live in the states right now, or maybe you have a mailing address that you could get it sent to so without further Ado, I'm going to show you how I got my hair to look like this. Okay, ladies, I'm so excited I'm going to open up the wave tech box right now. So here it is. This is so beautiful XMondo be bold and make waves. Oh my gosh! This is like the most gorgeous box. I'Ve ever seen inside there's like a really nice insert, tells you what's inside, we've got wave shampoo, conditioner, wave cream, wave foam and then wave Revival Mist. So here it is look, oh my Gosh. Is that not just like the most gorgeous thing ever so? The shampoo? Oh, I can't wait to use this as you can see. I totally am in need of it, so the shampoo will boost hydration and tame frizz. What yes, please! That'S what I need yeah anyways um, let's get started, it says, apply conditioner to damp hair, leave on for up to five minutes and rinse thoroughly. I'M gon na hop in the shower and get this uh. This mop washed up and then I'll see you in a bit. I just finished shampooing and conditioning my hair, and I was so happy with how the texture, the creaminess, the color everything the smell, is delightful. I wasn't sure at first about the conditioner. I thought it might be too thin of a consistency like not not as thick as I usually like, but as soon as I let it stay on for a few minutes. While I was washing my bod, it was like I just had it washed and conditioned at a professional salon, so thank you Brad. I love it so I'm wearing in my hair right now my microfiber hair towel and this one is by keratin another company that I love. So this is their fast drying. Frizz free, I don't know if you can see that it might be blurry, but it's for frizz, free, healthier, hair, so I'll put a link to this below as well. So I love using this trying not to use towels anymore, just to kind of keep my hair from breaking all right. So let's take this off and let's see what we have underneath all right. So yeah, like I said I just it, doesn't feel dry. It actually feels quite smooth and soft right now, all right, so I've got my long tooth comb, it's so manageable right now. I can't believe this wow, oh my gosh, I'm so excited and I'm also shedding a little bit gross all right. So I've got the cream. So what I'm kind of wondering is, if I should test this like just as step three and then don't use the the foam. I don't know what to do. I'M not sure I've always just used the foam uh on my hair and it's it's been great. So maybe I should try these uh, it says, distribute product to evenly coat. Look. I literally have to hold this so far away from my face. My eyesight is is going slowly here, but anyway I do have prescription glasses, a distribute product to evenly coat damp, hair and scrunch diffuse or air dry for flawlessly defined waves. So that's the same thing that the wavetech does so I don't know anyways what what high five Okay so just giving this a nice little pump. Oh so, there's the texture of it. Can you see that all right, so I probably should have like separated my hair into sections huh? Okay, I'm a little bit nervous. Putting this in, I feel like it might end up being kind of I'm just gon na. Do it the way that they do it at the salon and just slap a little bit in I'll start from? Maybe the ends work my way up, so I'm not putting too much in The Roots. Oh, it's so silky. I love it. Okay holy shoot! I'M loving! This seriously, ah, okay, this is really nice okay, so I'm gon na give some little like scrunch to this and I'm noticing not as definitely not as much wave as I do with the wave Tech foam for sure. So I don't know, maybe, like maybe the cream I'll do this again, maybe afterwards, but maybe the cream itself could just be very, very loose waves. I have to say the texture is so silky and so smooth. It'S really really really nice all right. So I'm gon na use the foam just so that you can see how that works on my hair. So this is my bottle that I already had before and, as you can tell it's almost finished, but I'll just show you the difference in the waves that this one produces as opposed to the cream, and I mean really it says it's like a five part system. So I'm just gon na use everything, except for the fifth system which is like for tomorrow to revive my waves. So this is very foamy. It'S like a mousse, and personally I don't. I don't put it like everywhere. I just kind of put it where I need it, but can you see how much look at the difference? So if Brad is watching this and he's like, you are scrunching way too furiously, I'm so sorry Brad, I'm doing a really bad, really bad job, but I have been using this all summer long, so I'm just not as precious with it. So I just kind of put it where I need it: scrunchy scrunchy, I'm going to put it underneath my hair too, so I don't end up having like the straight strands on the underneath side, all right, so I'm just going to put a little tiny bit more Foam in here and then I think, I'm good to go all right, so I might play with that a little bit more, but I'm going to let this air dry and then I'll see you on the other side, oh PS, I'm really sorry that I'm wearing this, Like disgusting robe that I've had I've had this one since Clive was a baby and he's uh he's 15.. So yeah, it's a pretty nasty robe, but I love it anyway. I'Ll see you in a few minutes hey, so my hair is pretty much all dry. I could you know just use a little bit more drawing on the very top, but I just wanted to come in and show you my hair that hasn't I haven't done anything with it, nothing at all, no curling irons or any heating tools um, it's just so Full and vibrant - I'm really really happy with it. Can you see all that so the nice thing about wavetech is that you can just scrunch and go now. There is a little bit of drying time right unless you're using a diffuser which I've actually never used a diffuser before, if you can believe it. So that's maybe something else on my uh on my wish list to get all right, so I think that'll be it for today I'm going to go about my the rest of my day, so tomorrow I'll try, the wave Revival mist and I can't wait good morning. Ladies, I uh she just rolled out of bed like this now hey. Actually I did this is my this is my morning hair I drove Clive to school and I just got back so I wanted to show you what my hair looks like um. After sleeping on it, and also yesterday literally after I stopped filming, I I threw it up in a ponytail like in a scrunchie so yeah, that's that's how lazy I am with my hair, but I wanted to show you this side see how nice the curls are On this side, it's still, you know still good this side, too everything you can see all underneath all the curls um. The only thing that's kind of crummy is this top part here. So I'm really gon na focus on trying to revive this with the uh with the wave Revival. Okay, here we go so I don't know how what does it say on it? I probably should read it spray. Oh, I just ready to like spray. It really close spray 12 inches away to evenly coat dry, hair twist and scrunch hair to redefined, wait, oh and shake before use; okay, let's shake it up. Okay, I have to look at myself in the mirror, otherwise, I'm gon na literally screw myself in the eye. Let'S do let's do this? Oh, it's got a nice fine mist, oh God. I love it now. Oh his products. Okay, literally now I just sprayed myself in the face Erica pay attention to what you're doing Okay. So yes, yes, okay, I'm not following his 12 inches rule, but look seriously what's happening. Okay, so he's saying to twist so I'm gon na do like some little twisting. That'S uh! Is this getting rid of like the um like the morning? Frizz, okay, try this side! So this is a little scruncharoo like Honestly, though it like can Brad just come to my house and do this for me please, so I literally have no other products in my hair right. So one thing that I like to do is if I've got you know this front section here. Acting up on me is I'll, give it a little tease. So I take a little little bit of my front section and then I'll just go in behind with my brush give a little tease, I'm gon na put some hairspray in because it needs. I need something. So I just spray a little hairspray right now, I'm using this one, just like this Pantene Pro V, I find it to be. It'S really strong, because this is what the problem is. I think okay yeah, because it's just a little too flat on the top and then I'll spray the front. So I can just to give it a bit more yeah all right. So that's looking a lot better. So, let's put a little bit more Revival now I keep spraying myself in the face. Okay, let me Shield my face from this stuff: okay, in a little scrunchy, a bit of a bit more curl in the front here. Okay, no, that's good! I like this. Now this is really really good. I might actually just like put a little more spray in a hairspray okay, so this is really I love this. This is very beachy. This side needs just a bit more right here and then I think I'm good okay. So if you're really worried about heat, this product is awesome, you don't have to use any heat at all there. There look at that yay. Now I've slept on a little bit of makeup for the day. I'M ready to go, and I just wanted to tell you where you can purchase these products if you are interested I'll, put a link to all the products Below in the description. The cream is 36.. The Revival mist is 36.. The shampoo and conditioner are 35 36 dollars for the eight ounces. That'S the the bottle that I was using and they're 58 dollars for the 16 ounce bottle the bigger bottle and then the whole entire bundle is 153 dollars. So if you were to get all of these items separately, it would cost you a hundred and eighty dollars. So it's a good savings and the cool thing about Brad Mondo's website is that he has an online quiz that you can do so you can plug in all of the information about your hair type, your hair length - and you just put in all of your information And then it just shows you which products are are probably the best for you and sadly I don't have any of these products, but I will be reaching out to their marketing department and asking if they would so very, very kindly send them to me so that I can review them as well and let you know what I think so one product that I definitely have heard a lot about is their BDSM cream and that's one that I I'd like to try in the future all right.
