30" Sleek Ponytail- Wavymy Hair

Hey dolls, so i am back so this is going to be a ponytail tutorial. I haven't, did a ponytail tutorial in a while, and this ponytail is going to be super easy ponytail that i have is not bundles. It is a ponytail that is already together. So it's going to be really easy for anyone to install it. So if y'all want to see where i got this super long, beautiful ponytail from and how i installed, it then keep on watching okay y'all. So there is from wavymyhair.com, so it doesn't have their name on the packaging, but it has it on the little stuff on the inside so yeah they sent these little trinkets on the inside of the box, so i got some lashes and then their little um. Thank you card with their discount code and stuff like that, and the hair was just inside of this bag, and this is a straight ponytail and this is 30 inches. I thought that i asked for the wrap around ponytail, but i did get the drawstring ponytail, which i'm not so mad about, because my hair is quite long so with the wrap around it would have been harder to hide my hair. So this is actually a dry string ponytail, so you can style it. However, you want, you, can do a high ponytail, a low ponytail. You can get two of these and do two ponytails whatever you really want to do, um so yeah, that's what i did. I did a low ponytail because i normally always do like higher ponytails, so i decided to do a nice sleek, low ponytail and for this style my hair was already straight, so it was really easy to go ahead and install it. If y'all see little black dots on my shirt, i did use beeswax, and this was really like my first time using it like. I tried it one time and then i ended up just washing it out of my hair, so i really didn't, try it like use it use it um, but yeah. I used it this time and i heated it up. That'S like the best method to get it to be nice and smooth. If not, it's going to be really thick. I had this black one already, so i just tried this out to see how it would work and my hair is nice and shiny, and it's laid down really good. So y'all will see in the video how i actually did it, but yeah it turned out super cute and it's a really easy, simple ponytail to install and it's super super duper long like this is 30 inches and it comes way past my butt. If y'all can see, y'all probably can't even see, let me stand up here. Okay, so it comes like way past my butt, so it's super super super duper long. So yes definitely stay tuned for the video and yeah okay dog. So this is how my hair is looking. I have worn it in several styles, so it wasn't completely straight and it was time to go ahead and do my shampoo, but i made it last a little longer, so i'm going in and starting to do my edges. I just did go in and curl them all using my little flat iron and then i went ahead and swooped them into place. You could do your baby hairs, however, you want, you can do no baby hairs. If that's what you like, i decided to add a little bit of swirls just to give it a little bit more of a dramatic kind of look. So that's what i'm doing here, i'm just showing you kind of how i did it and then, of course i did go in and do the other side as well. So now i am heating up my beeswax and then i just use my comb and i kind of dip it in and try not to get it in. Your part like i did, but if you do just use like a towel or something to just wipe the beeswax out of your part, you probably wouldn't have that problem. If you have the clear one, but i had the black one, so yeah, i'm just using what i already had so i'm just heating it up using a blow dryer and then i just go in and dip my comb into it and apply it to my hair. Wherever i want to slick it down - and i think this method of using the beeswax is good, especially for anyone who is natural - even if you have you know, straightened your hair to do a style, you know we cannot put gel or water or anything like that. On our hair, that will have it to curl back up, unless you know that's what you're trying to do, but since i was doing a straight ponytail, i did want my hair to be slick and straight so i was like. Let me try this beeswax. I have it and it worked out. Fine and your hair is going to pretty much stay. Molded like after this, like after i wore the um drawstring ponytail. I ended up still wearing my own natural hair in a ponytail, and i just put some curls. You know in my hair and stretched it a little bit longer before i actually went into you know shampoo, my hair and bring it back to its curly state. So this beeswax really really locks your hair into place, but it's still movable like you could definitely still comb your hair out and everything like that. But it's definitely going to be. You know like some product in your hair, so i wouldn't say you know, do this style and think that you can just wear your hair back down straight um, so yeah, but you could definitely, you know, do some different ponytail styles after you have put the beads Waxy - and so i am just braiding my hair down, so that i can wrap it around in a ball underneath the ponytail and i'm just going to smooth out any areas that need to be smooth before i do that um and with the wraparound ponytail y'all know. It'S kind of like open underneath so since my ball is always bigger, i was like well. This might work out better as far as hiding my ball and not having to worry about it popping out or anything, because the drawstring ponytail covers all of your hair. No matter what length your hair is, it can fit underneath the ponytail, so my bun was coming loose, so i didn't really secure it, so it's probably bigger than what it should be but yeah i just kind of held it in place and then went ahead and Put the ponytail on there is a comb at the top and a comb at the bottom, so i just push both of those combs into my ponytail and then i tighten up the drawstring and then from there. I take the drawstring and i wrap it around the ponytail, and this is also going to give you a little bit more security. I used to wear drawstring ponytails, all the time like in middle school, i used to get the little curly synthetic joints from the beauty, supply store and rock it with a gel down swoop, put a bow in it and boom. We was cute for the week me and my best friend used to wear that style all the time. So i know all about the drawstring ponytail okay. So what i'm gon na do is just go in and flat iron, the hair, because it was kind of like having some waves to it, because it was crumbled up in the package a bit, so i'm just gon na go in and flat iron it. You can also add curls to this hair. You can crimp it. You can do whatever it is that you want to do because it is, you know real hair, it's not a synthetic ponytail. So that's cool because you have you know more versatility with your styling. Whenever it comes to this ponytail and like i said, if you want to do like two ponytails, then just pick you up two of these and you will have them. You know for whenever you want to do that, but yeah, so i'm just going to go in and flat iron all of the hair and just make sure that it's nice and straight because that is the look that i was going for just a slick straight long. Ponytail with a part down the center, so i went in and flat ironed the other side y'all could see a miriam peck like she keeps popping in and out and she is playing in here. She loves to come and play in my beauty room now recently. She has been bringing you know, toys and makeup like her play makeup and stuff and she will sit there and play play with versace like y'all. She is getting so big. I'M gon na have to do an update but yeah, so i'm gon na go in and continue to wrap the extra hair around because it's not a band to hide. So you could get away with not doing this at all. But i do like the overall completed polished look of having a band wrapped around the um ponytail anytime. I do a ponytail. I just feel like this completes the look and just gives it a polished kind of look so yeah, like i said it's optional. If you want to do this or not it's up to you um but yeah, usually i would use hairspray to make sure that the wrap around piece is gon na stay into place. But i didn't use any hairspray. I just used a hairpin and kind of you know, put it there to hold it. So this is how the ponytail looks after i have completed installing, and it's super fast and easy so yeah. This is how it looks. I think it looks really good the ponytail. You know has a nice fullness to it. It'S not super thin or anything like that, and the hair is really nice on the actual ponytail. So yes, stay tuned for the outro okay y'all. So this is the completed look of the hair. Also, you could do the front. However, you want, you could slick it straight back. You could do a part on the side. You could do a part in the middle. You can really do whatever you want with this style. You can do it. You know a high ponytail low ponytail, whatever you could do the ponytail to the side, whatever you want to do, i just wanted to do a low, sleek ponytail and have my um part in the middle, with some baby hairs um as well so yeah. This little piece is coming to loose but yeah, so i think the hair turned out cute, it's nice and sleek. I probably need to put a little bit of hairspray right there, but it looks good amir thinks she's on the phone with my mom nobody's on the phone, but that's it y'all.
