So if you've been watching my videos for the last couple of weeks, I guess uh you'll know that I've been trying to achieve some type of color. In my hair, I finally managed to get some color, so I thought I'd give you guys an update of how that's going and also um what it's been like since my retie. If you haven't watched my videos about how I got to this color, please feel free to watch them, but essentially I've been trying to color my hair for the last couple of months and then over the last couple of weeks. I did a couple of things and then eventually managed to get a hair dye that actually worked with my hair and so yeah. Here we are, this color is supposed to be a copper color, but it actually looks more like a red, copper, it's more closer to a red color. I feel like it's gotten brighter, since I did it last time or it's been about a week. I think now, since I've done the color, and it looks so so much brighter than it did when I first applied it, I'm pretty happy with it. My roots are still brighter, so I decided not to do anything about it because um I don't mind it at all, but yeah the color looks more like a red color than it does a copper color. But I feel like this is what the copper color is supposed to look like, maybe closer to this is what it's supposed to look like, but essentially this is what it's supposed to look like on black hair. I'M loving it. I'M surprised at how my hair feels pretty good right now it doesn't feel dry. It feels pretty soft and not like what I expected it to feel. So, I'm very impressed by whatever luck that I have going on for me right now. I think a huge part of it is that I went in with a reconstructor after I did my color, and I also have a feeling that coloring, your regular loose natural hair is way different than coloring micro locks or locks. I think locks are way more capable of handling the color just because if my hair texture changes in my locks, I don't really see that right, whereas if it's a loose, if it's my loose natural, then of course it would kind of show that okay, your hair, Is kind of damaged, maybe nonetheless I am loving the color and um yeah. It'S just doing everything I wanted to do, but yeah like the roots. Like I said, I wouldn't mind if the roots were a lot more darker, but it doesn't look as crazy as it may look on camera like it. It looks crazy, but not as crazy in terms of the color I'll quickly show you what the hair looks. Like someone left a comment about how I missed my crown. The last time I colored my hair, what the time I colored my hair, and so that is very true. I just honestly like I was just so nervous and I didn't even think to do anything extra there and the crown does take a much longer time to die. So it's crazy that I didn't even put any color on it at all. In the end, though, I don't know that it looks as horrible because I don't know the front part of my hair just covers the the back. If that makes sense, so it's not as bad. I don't think yeah, I'm not sure if it's as bad but of course, next time when I put this color in I'm, going to make sure I start with the crown, but yeah I'm really loving it you guys, I'm also not taking whatever luck I have going On for granted, because I honestly feel like when you color your hair, you're, obviously compromising your hair quality, and so it is important that you give it a little bit more care than normal. So I anticipate that I'm going to continue like moisturizing and doing some of the extra stuff that I wouldn't normally do on my locks. If it wasn't colored like this, I've been using a little bit of oil of my oil every single day. Just a couple of drops and then just rubbing it in my hair, just because I want my hair to stay moisturized, I don't typically use oil on my hair every single day, but because of the color situation yeah. So I don't want my hair to get dry at all. That'S not something we want other than that. I love my color and I will end this video now. Hopefully the next video that I do is not about hair color, because that's too much thank you. So much for your support, you guys, I really appreciate it and let me know if you have any tips for me in terms of maintaining my color and some things that I could be adding to my daily routine. I will see you guys in the next video bye

Dione Howell: When lightening hair do ends first & leave the roots last as the dye develops faster with heat from scalp as it’s obviously is warmer than ends. Also keep using conditioner as you may be lucky but dying hair can lead to breakage along the line, doesn’t happen straight away. Colour is beautiful & really suits you. I did mine prior to loccing my hair 3 years ago and topped up colour twice, I did an ombré look as I know roots growing out & not taking dye properly is a big thing with box dyes. Good luck with your journey

lindacantonlc: Love it
