Easy 10 Minute Top Knot Bun On Natural Hair | No Added Hair / Thick Hair Friendly

Thank you, hey you guys it's Celia and I'm back with another video. So today I'm going to show you how to do a really quick 10 minute, bun um, I'm just showing you my definition from my braid outs. I did put my hair in about nine braids and I left them in for like a week. So of course we're going to be using goddess Curls products and then some Eco style gel just to Sleek everything in place. So I'm going to start with the goddess. Curls defined hair Elixir and add that to my scalp with the dropper and then just rub it on in. I like to do this, especially when I know I'm gon na have my hair in a bun for at least a couple days to a week, just so that my hair or my scalp is not itching up under there and then, of course, it's made with amazing Ingredients, so it's going to not only moisturize reduce flakes, but it's going to you know: increase hair growth bye all right so, instead of separating my hair, I'm just going to start taking pieces from the braid out and pulling it up into my high ponytail so that I can form my bun later um. This is just an easy trick. I showed you guys in some of my other ponytail and Puff videos on how to get your hair into a ponytail um very very easily, so you guys can see it's going right on up. I can easily just form it into a ponytail. There'S no bulkiness um! Nothing like that! So if you know you're going to put your hair in a ponytail or a bun, don't even go the extra step of separating just go ahead and do it this way and it'll make it so much easier. I promise you guys so obviously I did that all around my hair and then I'm going to just put my hair into a loose ponytail just so that I can start adding my cream and gel, but you know still have my hair in that ponytail form. So I am just going to spray around the perimeter of my head with some water because you cannot add product to your hair when it's dry um, it's better! When you have. You know a little bit of moisture, so I'm going in with my enchanting moisture cream from goddess curls and just applying that also around the perimeter of my hair um just to soften it up and I'm going to add some Eco style gel. On top of that, because don't make me um now, once I've added the gel you can use whatever gel you want, I'm going to use my double-sided evolve brush using the like comb or whatever type part um, so that I can just really ensure the back. Is nice and smooth? That'S like the most important part, so I'm only going to do that part once it's nice and completely smooth, I'm just going to start um brushing it up with the brush side, and I love this brush just because not only is it dual sided, but it has The perfect amount of like hardness it's not too hard, but it's also not soft. It'S like firm, so yeah, I'm just going to brush my hair up. So it's nice and sleek bye. So now, I'm obviously just going to put my hair into a ponytail and a tip or a trick for me, is to like hold your head down when you're doing this, so that you can keep your ponytail in the same position because sometimes like you can be Putting your hair in a ponytail and it'll be on top of your head. Next thing you know is like in the middle. We don't want that. I want a high ponytail, so I just wrapped it around till I clean it anymore, and this is what we got. Oh, but now just to add a little bit more fullness to my hair before I go in and make the um bun, I'm just going to start unwrap or yeah separating the pieces from the braid out now you don't necessarily have to do this. I think it's just up to your preference but, like I said I wanted a little bit more fullness, so I'm just going to go in and do that real quickly and then I'm going to form my buns foreign. So this is how I form my bun. I start from the side and just literally just wrap hair around and around until like I can't anymore, and then you can either use bobby pins, which I've done in the past, but I'm just going to put a ponytail holder around like the base of it. I'M only gon na wrap it around like twice. I don't want to make the bun too skinny, but just from doing that, look y'all! It'S like almost perfect, so I did do my edges off camera. I totally forgot to show y'all, but I am off camera gon na just bobby, pin a few places and kind of make it like more perfect. Like I like, and then this is the final look after you know, I put my jewelry and stuff on y'all. This was such a cute bun for date night. I have not done a bun since I big chopped and my hair is getting long like. Sometimes I don't even realize how long my hair is getting um, especially it hasn't even been two years yet. But yes, look at the bun! Now it's not perfect! You guys it definitely could have been a little bit more sleeker. I could have added more gel. You can see some hair sticking out, but I wasn't trying to keep my man waiting for too long because he's always waiting on me so yeah don't mind that, but I still thought it was cute um. So yeah.
