What is up you guys and welcome back to another video, so I'm about to go on vacation and I decided to put another protective style in y'all know how we do so. I decided to go with passion twists, but I wanted to crochet them in because I've never crocheted in passion twists. You guys know I've done a passion twist, video where I just you actually did it I'll put that video here. So you can check that out, but I wanted to do it this way because of course I have blonde hair. So I wanted to cover that up, because I wanted jet black passion twist and I think I really did it I'm doing a good job. I'M gon na show y'all how I did it. Y'All already know. I was gon na show you how I did it, but they're pretty long, and they do have like the boho hair out, as you can see like this was already kind of pre-made. So let me stand up so y'all can see how it's looking and I already went ahead and pre-parted and plaited my hair because, like I said, we are doing crochet. This is what my hair looks. Like I mean in the front. My hair in the back is much longer, so I feel like in the front it'll, be easy to camouflage a little bit easier um, because it was a little hard back here like my hair is thicker in the back like some of them a little thick. I was watching this video and this girl was talking about this particular shine and jam, and it's the red one. It was on Tick Tock. I think, and this one is the shine and jam magic fingers for braiders by Sasha Harris and it says extra firm holds clean Parts, controls frizz no build up with olive oil and I would have to say I really think I like this one better than the Regular yellow shining Jam, so if you run out the other one try this one, I really feel like my parts are cleaner. Also, I kind of learned what I was doing wrong as far as when I start my plaits any type of class. Honestly, even if I was just doing knotless braids, I realized that I wasn't parting, my hair in like that V shape at the roots. Basically, you know once you part your hair, you have a square. So basically, you part it on this side with your fingers and then part it on this side and when you go to plait it it'll be nice and flat. As you can see, these are super flat to my head and it's really because I was using that method of plaiting it in that v-section, we'll part it in the v section and then like flatten it from there. So that was a little tip. I wanted to go ahead and let y'all know but, like I said I already pre-braided pre-platted my hair already, so that I can kind of fly by this tutorial for you guys, because clearly we had to cover a lot, also you're going to need a crochet needle Of course, that's the only way you're going to be able to crochet hair, they have other types of needles, but this is the only one I know how to use, and this is one that you can easily find anywhere so definitely have that. I didn't use any rubber bands or anything like that for this, because, as you know, it's already plaited the hair that I use is this Bobby boss, passion twist boho style. That'S what's going to give you those little hairs coming out and I got it in the 24 inch. They have it much longer, but honey. This is long enough. Okay and plus you're, not putting it at the roots of your hair. So it's gon na be a little bit longer, but we'll get into that. It comes with three bundles, so you only need two of these. I haven't even used the entire pack in my head, yet the first pack, because I bought two - and this is basically what one pack is gon na give you I have a few more left, but then I'm gon na have to bust open that other pack. So, just to give you a good idea of how many twists you can get out of that one pack, it's a lot. So one pack of that and also I already had two packs of this hair. This is what's gon na help. You camouflage your color or whatever or the roots or whatever you want to conceal. If you don't have super long hair, it really wouldn't matter. If you have short hair, this tutorial will be much better for you, but if you have a little bit longer hair, you are going to need this hair so that you can wrap it at the roots, but we are going to get into that now. I got this one in the 14 inch as you can see, but I feel like I'm gon na run out before I'm done so I did get a extra pack. I'Ve only used one pack and whatever has come out of this so far on my head, but I did purchase another pack just in case, but let me show y'all what I purchased, because I don't even know why I did this. But yes I do. I know I did it, but look how long this one is like what who anyway, who won't passion Twisted long y'all, be getting past Tuesday long, it's kind of longer. This is 40 inches and I've been shot like well. Why did you buy the 40 inch? I figured that I just cut it instead of buying like multiple packs of this water wave hair. I figured I'd just cut it like three two times and then I'll get the same effect. So that's what I did and I'm pretty sure I'll just have to cut it one time and then I'll have some like 24 inch kind of left. So yeah I was like. Let me just buy a super long pack, it's about a super long pack, but that's pretty much it you guys. That'S all you're gon na need for this hairstyle I mean then you're gon na need this tutorial. The tutorial is what's next, so, let's get into it! I'M gon na go ahead and put this section up, since we only have two rows left. As you can see, this is one row and then this we're calling this a row. Okay, so I only have two rows left and I'm gon na show y'all what I did for you. So the first thing you want to do is you want to take one of your crochet passion twist pieces, and this is what it looks like, as you can see little curls coming out, they could have made those curves a little longer. I feel I feel like why y'all got these long passion twists in that little hair just coming out right there, you you but hey, who am I I'm just a girl? Just wanting something more, I will say you need to plait your hair down pretty far because I was just plaiting up here, but since my hair is so long and the method that I'm doing you want to braid it down to like to like right here, I Braided mine right before my color, that just would work for me, but do what's what works for you. You want to find like a Midway point and push your crochet needle through, and then you want to hook the passion twist here. Do not put it at the roots, I'm gon na show y'all. Why and what we do go ahead and put it there boom, and then you want to open it up open it up right here, just like that and then make a knot or basically take the passion twist through the loop and tighten it, and it's basically going To secure that to the Midway point of your braid, okay, now I like to take some of my shine and jam and add it to the ends. You don't want any of this frizz, so just go ahead and add that here and it's going to help you with the wrapping process. So now you see it's nice and smooth and just like a little point, you can easily catch that with the crochet needle and I'm gon na go ahead and go through the roots and I'm going to crochet, I'm going to put it through the crochet hook. But close the latch like that and pull it through just like that. Okay, so now you have something shorter to wrap than trying to wrap. All of that and what I like to do with my colored piece. Is I like to just go ahead and wrap this around that braid and that's going to help easily hide the fact that your hair is colored, because we got ta wrap this as well and camouflage all of this? This is the same method you would use. If you were doing like locks, but I just wanted passion twist, I love how curly they look. So I'm just like, let's see if it'll work on passion twist, so that's why I got this hair so that it meshes with the actual passion twist. So I'm also going to take this. Take the crochet needle back through the root once more hook. This hair through pull it through. Just like that, pull out one side - and I like to spread this hair out just a little bit because it'll help with the blending and camouflaging the color. All you want to do is wrap this hair around the root, so basically you're wrapping it around your braided hair, your hair. Basically, so this is going to hide the color and it's gon na hide the braid. You just want to wrap it, wrap it wrap it. Now this works better if I detangled it a little bit better, so it'll spread and just continue to wrap until the hair is out or until you pass where you don't need to wrap anymore. Now, when I get to where the passion twist is connected, I like to kind of do it a little bit tighter. Then you want to take the other piece that you crocheted in, like you, only wrap with one side of that crocheted piece and then once it's all ran out. I like to take the other piece and then kind of continue wrapping down the length of the hair, and this is just going to add to the look of the passion twist and I know y'all might be like, but you can see it at night. You'Re really not gon na tell once all the twists are like see how it gives it that look anyway. So then you're not really gon na see it see going crazy with these hairstyles. At this point, I'm just twisting it down it's gon na interlock, with this curly hip. This passion twist hair anyway. So don't worry about like burning the ends or dipping or nothing. Nothing like that, as you can see it just Blended right on in it just Blended right on in with that. These are the pieces that we're just hanging already, and that is pretty much it brand. That'S all I'm doing foreign foreign I've been adding like little pieces too. Now, I'm like Oh, my hair is kind of like oh baby, like wow. Look at all that look at all that at first I wasn't a fan of the you know the wrapping and then it turned into this, but I feel like once this gets super like old, separate little one right here. I feel like it's gon na look so good. I mean it looks good now, but I can't even put in a ponytail they so stiff and so like perfect, you know, but once it loosen up my hair grow, I just had a little bit. Oh it's over. I could probably heat these in for like a good month for real okay, and I could add some more because I realized, since this hair is so long, the curly pieces, I could add some hair in, like I think I yeah I added this in and it's The length of the hair, but it's just making it look more like I don't know like I don't know like a sew in it like a curly weave or something like that. You know let me find out. I know what I'm doing. Look at that y'all. These are solid, solid as a rock we on the last one week me on the last one I feel like these are so freaking cute. If you talk about me, I bet your hair cute. I bet, if you be like I bet if you walk out here and be like yeah, you know I got my sword nine times out of ten. You cute. I already know you cute, you know, I know you're cute yo cause it just ain't, no way not. If you watch my channel for real you gon na, be cute you're gon na be confident. You'Re gon na be happy. Listen! That'S all I've seen anyways, I'm really just talking all right, so we we went ahead and filled to their hair right on through there and then we're wrapping it rest of that hair around there. So it'll just be contained boom like that right there and now, like I said, I'm using these long pieces, I cut a little bit off of it, but they still super duper duper long. But that's okay, because I need that longevity so that when I'm rapping, that's what I will say get something a little longer than the 14 inch. If you have like longer hair, because the looser you wrap that top part, the better it's gon na. Look because it'll give it more of that, like Curly, more than like a lock look, you know what I mean. I hope you understand what I'm saying the looser you can do it the better and the easier it'll cover your colored hair, but anyway, let's go ahead and put this in because it's the last time we got. The last thing we got is okay, so you go from the root. Put that thing through lock it in cause you my friend, did I tell y'all I'm going on vacation the weekend, because I'm excited I'm ready to get back to it. Baby ain't no need of me being here at all at all. I guess that [ __ ], I should put the curly bang since I did the bang. Let'S make sure we got the bang period and I'm gon na wrap the rest of the hair. Oh Browns and around and I'm gon na make our way to the top running around and round what is happening. Dang it's coming to loose. I did not mean for that to happen. Okay, let's go. Let'S do one more time and you can fake your way to the top running around make your way to the top running around. Oh, it's so weird, all right. Let'S make sure we go ahead and wrap that thing around like that right up. First of all, I got ta make sure my bank is where it needs to be, and oh it's so weeks, let's get that Bang Out The Way it's too long, but it's too long, I'm gon na pull some more of this down because I just feel like I'Ll cut it, if need be, just so long make sure you get real loose after this part after you get past, where you added the crochet so that it all just looks like it's the beginning of the passion twist, you know it's passion towards give it that You can see it just all Blends in you know, and since I did this little short bang part, I got a little extra. I'M just going to cut it at an angle so that it matches up pretty well and we're done oh yeah, and that turned out to be the right size. How cute all right! Oh my gosh, I can't believe I'm done, but look how dark it is. Oh my gosh Kimberly with black hair again normally I would use my Nairobi foam, but this is a lot of hair, so I'm just gon na use my curlsmith foam for this. I don't even think I ever used this before. I'M definitely still gon na use um. My Nairobi for my roots, just because this foam is for curly hair and I really don't want my roots to be curling up. So you know I'm not gon na chance that at all, but for the length of the hair, we're gon na do Smith because you don't got them curls and now I want I want all the free is gone. I'M gon na just put it on my hands. It'S a foam party, not wasted a soccer answer, my job, it's Valentine's Day, I'm just sitting here doing my hair, I'm sure somebody'll text me someone later all right. You guys! These are. The final results. Super curly super pretty perfect for vacation for me, so yeah. I hope you guys really enjoyed this video. If you did, please give it a thumbs up, share it with your friends, your mommy all day, all of them. Anybody who you think want to do that, send it to him. I dare you anyway. I hope you guys enjoyed this video if you did give it a thumbs up and I'll see you guys in my next video bye,
