Blonde Curly High Ponytail On Natural 4C Hair | Watch This Before You Throw Out Your Old Bundles

Yes, hey guys, what's good welcome back to my channel antonia adores maker, hey hey today, i'm going to be showing you how to achieve this ponytail. So, let's get right into it, guys! Okay! So today i have my 4c hair out. My hair is all natural. If you guys have been following me for a long time, then you would know that i shaved off my hair when i was like 21, i shaved off my whole hair literally. I had a britney moment um and i just really wanted to like get rid of all the damaged hair. I dyed my hair several times. I bleached it. It was full of peroxide full of perm and it was just snapping off. So i you know, made a decision to do the big chop and this is how my hair has grown so far. Honestly, i'm like it's been years now, because i'm 26 and like i was expecting my hair to be up to here or whatever. But you know you can't compare your journey to anyone else's journey. You know it's quite healthy. It'S like a nice, wobble, love, um and honestly, your hair has you know memory. It has memory of how long it's been for the majority of your life, so my hair has been quite damaged and you know the growth has been stunted and it has more or less always been. You know shoulder length, so i am expecting for my hair to just kind of be stunted a bit um and it will take longer than someone else's to grow really long, but i mean i'm not really bothered about that because i wear my wigs. I have fun with my hair and you know that's what you got bundles for okay, so i even tripping over that as long as my hair is healthy, which it is um, then we're all good. So i'm gon na skip the long talk now and i'm gon na show you how i put this into a nicely bun. I have some bundles over here. These are blondes like honey, blonde, bundles, they're, wavy um. I had a sewing. No, i made a wig out of this hair, but um you know the the wig is basically over, like the front saw is yamaha like it ain't, even the vibe anymore. So i cut out all the bundles and i said, i'm not gon na freak away. Like sorry brazilian head, i paid 100 and something for no, you must be joking, so yeah, i'm just gon na do like a cute ponytail. Usually i do a color too ponytail the same color as my hair, but i just feel like being a bit different today. So my hair is already blow-dried, so i'm just gon na comb through it just gon na comb it up and sorry. If my hair is like dusty and dirty it's literally because i haven't washed it. But when i do this type of hairstyle, i don't like to wash my hair. I know that sounds gross, but i'm about to put like piles of gel in it. So why the hell would i do that, so you want to comb your hair up until you look like a troll like so, and then i want mine to be quite high up, so i'm gon na go a little bit higher with the back okay until it's Like here yeah, okay, i think up to here is quite cute and i'm just gon na put this in a ponytail and make sure that it's like in the center. Now everybody has their preference of how tight they like to do their ponyta. But, to be honest, i, like mine, quite tired. I, like that instant face, lift type of film, but this can give you headaches so just be a bit mindful if this is a ponytail that you're gon na have for a long time like a week. Don'T do it too tight because you will get headaches. So the gel choice that i'm going to be using is echo styler, argan oil, professional styling gel, and this is the gel trace that i like to use, because it's really like it's good for holding your hair. It'S good for afro-caribbean, hair, 4c, hair um and the max hold is 10.. I think this goes from 1 to 10, so this is the strongest and then i'm also going to combine that with my got to be ultra glued gel um. And then i like to use a bit of spritz by pink as well just to finish off and i'm just gon na go ahead and literally smother my hair with gel. Now some people really like to go crazy with baby hairs and stuff. That'S not really like my vibe. I don't really go crazy for the baby hairs. Like i just like a straight sleek ponytail. I did that so tight split in between um yeah, i'm gon na undo that and i'm just gon na grab this brush, which is my slip brush, and i'm just going to literally tighten that up just a little bit more now that i've applied the gel to It all right - and i'm just gon na - go over with a bit more gel guys. This process requires a lot of gel, especially when you have 4c hair, and it's expected for your hair to go like wavy. If your hair's relaxed it will stay straight, but my hair, it's very curly kinky curly, tight curl, so yeah all right guys. So now you can see that i have it slipped up all over. I'M just gon na go ahead and grab my pink spritz spray and i'm just going to spray all over, and that's really just gon na hold that gel in place and make it hard and i'm just gon na use my hand just to flatten that down. You can see in my hand, and then i'm just gon na grab the black layer. Now you just want to grab a scarf and you're just going to literally flatten that down um yeah, so you're literally just going to flatten that because it's high around your head good job. So now, i'm just gon na plait the rest of my hair. That'S left out in the ponytail, so first literally you're just going to want to comb through your bundles, just making sure that the hairs are lines and it's nice and straight and then i'm gon na grab this part the end of the weft. I don't know how full i want this to be so i'll, just see um, so i'm just going to go ahead and repeat that step. So i'm just going to grab this just going to wrap it around here, wrap it where i left off grab a hairband. Sorry about those pieces of thread in the hair, i'm gon na like comb it through and clean it all up a bit after okay. So, as you guys can see, i'm using the hair band to wrap around where i have joined the piece of weft to the plait and i'm just using the hair band to secure the weft in place. And this is just a quick alternative. Rather than sewing in the um wefts, especially if you don't want to have this hairstyle for a long time, i rarely wear my ponytails for a long time so to use the hair bands is just a very, very quick fix for me and it gets the job Done 10 times faster, and this is basically the logic guys. This is the technique that i use to attach my wefts onto the braided plait, and i just continue this process until i get to the base of my head and you can see that i'm really fast forwarding through this process and i'm already at the base of My head and the only the only disadvantage that i would say happens with this process, is the fact that you end up cutting out the hair bands. So you know, if you don't care about the hairbands, that you're using and you're willing to dispose of them. After then, this is a technique that will really work for you all right. So now you want to grab a piece of hair, preferably from the back of the ponytail, and you want to wrap it around the ponytail until you basically have something like what i have on the screen. I don't know how to explain it um and then you want to secure that with some spritz hairspray and that's just going to keep that in place and prevent flyaways. And now i'm just going to grab a few bobby pins, maybe like two or three, not too sure how many i'm using, i think, two or three and i'm just going to use that to secure it into place like so yeah all right guys. So now this is the finished look. This is the ponytail the front from the side from the other side from the back. The back is quite wavy, but i can't help it because my hair is just naturally wavy um, but i think it kind of helps with this wavy texture because it isn't completely straight so it really does help and, as i was saying, it's very important to use Brown hair bands to make it discreet, as you can see, the ponytail is very discreet. You can't see any of the hair bands holding it in place. Um, i'm just gon na use my gots to be glued hairspray and that's just gon na really make everything stay into place, and then i'm also gon na do a few baby hairs um just to try something different. So i'm gon na use guts to be glued and i'm just gon na use a toothbrush. Obviously don't use the toothbrush that you use to brush your dandy, don't be nasty um and i'm just gon na dab. Some of that on the side of my hands and i'm just gon na - do like some cute little baby hairs just like little cute ones. Nothing too crazy, because i want a baby hair fan yeah just little cute baby hairs like that, and i'm just going to make this a little bit more smoother um, and i'm just going to use this argan oil cream of nature, pudding, perfection and curl enhancing cream. Because this is brazilian hair, so you know if you use a curl put in it, will enhance the curls in this. Ponytail definitely focus that on the ends, but i don't want to weigh it down too much and to finish off and to finish off, i'm just going to use my organic root, stimulator olive oil number, shin sheen spray and i'm just gon na.
