Today, i'm going to show you a ridiculously easy five-minute: look that you can do before running out the door with your flat iron. Yes, this is a barely there wave bend to the hair that gives softness movement and a cool girl. Romantic vibe! If you do this on dry hair, it's obviously going to take you 10 minutes max if you have more hair than me, but i want to walk you through the prep shampoo process, because i just learned something brand new. I just learned about a brand new product and it's really really cool and i want to share it with you guys so join me in the shower again, honestly, whenever i'm recording these sections, i have my ring light and my camera, and it's pointed towards the shower And i'm showering and my husband walks in he's always like what is going on woman, we got ta show the people all the things. Okay, you have to check this out. Hair story is a hair care brand like nothing else that i've really seen. You guys know that i'm a product junkie, i try everything. I have everything. I love a ton of different things and i also hate a ton of different things, but this this is very, very different and i've never tried anything like this before, which says a lot, because i have tried everything and now that the channel is bigger. People send me everything, there's so many things that come i've tried. It all join me online and check this out on this website. You answer this very specific questionnaire that asks you things like how often you wash your hair, how soon your hair gets oily? How much time you spend on your hair the length of your hair, the density, the texture, if you have any scalp issues, if you have any issues with your ends, what kind of products you currently use and even what hot tools you use? I was borderline embarrassed to answer the hot tool question, because what hot tool do i not use? Is there a hot tool? I don't use no there it and if there is, i sure, as hell hope that hot tool ends up on my doorstep, because i need it. Okay, let's get back in the shower the product. I'M using here is gon na trip you out, it is called nu wash and it is a one step, cleansing and hydrating system. What you do here is apply the product. It looks and feels like conditioner and you use a scalp brush to rub the roots throughout the entire head. Then you rinse really really really well using the brush to get rid of every last bit of product. The hair will feel super soft and you're going to think it's not clean, because we are used to suds and we are used to grit when we wash aren't we, but it is clean and it is soft and it's one product instead of like 10.. This is like the craziest thing and, if you're a hair junkie like me, it's going to be an adjustment to have one product in the shower instead of 30. But this really does replace your shampoo and your conditioner you're, going to get clean, hair and you're. Also going to get hydrated smooth soft hair, i told you it's like nothing you've ever seen before right. It really is i i did not lie about that. After that i used the hair bomb, which is a curl and frizz control cream. So it's great for air drying, textured hair, but i found it super helpful for creating smoothness when blow drying. I just make sure to focus the product on the ends of my hair and not the root moving right along. I blow dried my hair using my dyson, a wrap, smoothing attachment. I just needed my hair to be straight and smooth. It didn't have to be overly voluminous for this look. So when my hair was completely dry, i started with my flat iron now. This is the trick: that's going to give you the best waves ever because my hair is short. I just want the bottom to be wavy and i don't want to waste any time curling it because it's not seen anyway, so it just needs to have a little bit of a bend. The way that i do that is, i take my flat iron and i rock it up and down as i move down the hair shaft when i get to the areas of the head where the hair starts getting longer, i change my approach up. I take long sections that are vertical so tall and narrow sections, and i use my iron to bend the hair away from the face. I just do one bend and then i pull my hair out of the iron. I then insert the iron back into that area, and i finish off the curl watch it again. It'S super easy and will create a long coil and not a springy curl that you get when you pull the iron through the entire way. If your hair has too much bend on the bottom before doing this technique, you can take a minute to straighten out the bottom sections. I did that in certain areas where there was just too much of a bend inwards, you don't want the hair to bend in you want it to be a really modern wave. So you want the ends to be pretty straight you're going to do this for the entire head, always curling away from the face. So when you get to the middle of the back of the head switch directions, here's a very important tip make sure that your flat iron is not too hot, and this will depend a lot on your individual texture, because my strands are fine. If i have the iron too hot, the hair will curl too much and i don't want to curl. I just want to soft bend, so i just dial my heat down until the heat is strong enough to bend the hair, but not to curl the hair. If you feel like it's curled too much, while the hair is still hot, you can pull it down. Hair responds well to change when it's hot so manipulate the way you want it before it has a chance to cool. Once i finish my entire head, i go through it with a wide tooth comb and then i use some of the hairstory hair oil to smooth the ends and to take away any flyaways, and then i'm done you can do this in a middle part. Like i demoed or you can do it in a side part if you prefer it's just a super effortless kind of cool girl. Look that once you get down pat, you can execute in literally five minutes. If you are curious to see what products hair story will recommend for you, based on your individual texture, your hair length, your problems, the things that you want to achieve with your hair then check my description box. You are an inspiration to all women who want to be able to work with our hair types and provides with specific techniques, products and tools that we can leverage to look glam. The information that you provide is invaluable and not advice we are going to get from any one else. You inspired me to get a bob, your length and I added highlights and I have gotten so many compliments. My husband absolutely loves it. I recommended you to my OB/GYN who is young and was sooh excited to follow you. You are a gem and a beautiful person in side and out!

Lisa Silver: Great tips Gabi. I was just looking at the Dindi Naturals shampoo and conditioner bars from Australia. I would love to see a review on these. X

Rubi Potter: Love it! Thank you ❤️.

Ken Leung: Which heat setting you using on your flat iron for this style? I keep 290-310f for very loose wavy bend.

Karen Braun: Always get excited when I see a new video from you in my feed! Thank you!

selective outrage: I have a scalp scrubber but was never sure how to use it. I thought you just combed it through but can see you use circular motions. I'll try the flat iron technique. Usually I just use giant velcro rollers for volume, not waves.

Wendy: I still have not accomplished the flat iron curl or wave can you please do another video on that you are so beautiful effortlessly

Karen Machado: You are a delight to watch! Beautiful inside and out

Karen Walker: I have fine hair, very similar to yours, and am curious what you set your heat at for this style? Love the look!

GAMER GIRL MARS: Hi Gabi, is there a way for people at home who have naturally very light hair and dye it very dark brown/black (I'm talking a natural 9 or 10+) to dye their hair for an easier time growing it out, that isn't so drastic? You always see nothing but a million videos from salon folks showcasing all their blond clients and if/when they try to teach people at home usually you don't ever see someone with this specific situation very often. Thank you!

Antoniette Musolino: ❤️it !! Cool look

Lisa: Can't wait to try this technique!

A: Hi girl, I would love to ask you a quastion. I did a hairtransplant more than 1 year ago, around 800 grafts they took on the back of my head. I am not a girl that does a lot of things with the hair. But now my hair is not falling nice anymore. The donor area is tinner and this makes my hair look very not nice fallen on the back. You see the 'space' trough my hair.. and it springs more on top. Also it feels tinner. I am so curious it you experience this? Maybe when you are not styling the hair..? I am very sad about this and the hair doctor told me I would see or feel nothing from this procedure...

amazonefurieux: Beautiful! Your hair is shorter than mine an I think that s the reason that it looks more modern and the kinda one bump wave on the side gives that alexa chung wave bump volume. Is your hair all the same lenght? I use a curling iron as the curls and waves flaten out quick and I want to start with real curls so that my super straight hair will sta wavy the day.. but I think it looks a little bit dated.. so I will start to try out the flat iron. thank you gorgeous Gabi

Lana- Online Business & Life: Great channel. Pls. make video on crown area; teasing or any other idea to get volume in this area :)

Annie Whitmore: Can see myself burning my fingers trying to attempt this againIt looks so easy ... until you try it in my experience - I just don't possess the skill unfortunately. Looks lovely on you though

Donna: I love your looks I just wish I had the money to get hair transplants like you.

Melissa D: WHOA!! I need to try that like right now. (PS have you ever tried Philip Kingsley products from the UK? Or L'ange hair tools? I am addicted to both. PK has a shampoo for very fine hair I am married to for life.

10zin lutru: How did you color ur hair ? What is it called ? Love ur hair

Marisol Gonzales: Wen products are the same way. Great stuff.

Anitra Moore: I don’t like how my straight iron falls my hair out and my hair is fragile with my age so I will not be doing that

Music Lover: Fun!

food on tik tok: ❤️

RK: Where is your attire from.. so Pretty

Claire Leveille: Hairstory looks alot like WEN
