How I Wrap & Unwrap My Hair + Laid Edges

To maintain my straight hair after I spend all that time blow drying and flat ironing it, I dry wrap my hair at night. I use a wide tooth comb to take down my hair each morning. And of course to make sure my hairstyle is complete I lay & slay those edges girl! Straight hair can last me 1.5 weeks unless my dandruff takes over then I have to do something different.

If you've already watched part, one then you've seen how a shampooed conditioned blow-dried and filet ironed my hair using the cheek care. It'S a revamp kit, if not, that a video link will be in my description box down below in part two. I showed you out how I trimmed and curled my hair, but I left off the footage of me wrapping my hair, so here we got to part three how I wrap you know, wrap my hair. This wrap her up with a wide tooth comb, so I can keep my curls just gon na add drop. Oh I like there's something in my hair, especially community out there. I need something to protect it from getting frizzy so excited. I start out just by taking out this section in the middle of my head. This is gon na ensure for me that, as I wrap my hair I'll, have it flat at the top. If you're gon na use any moisturizers or all you would apply that before you wrap your hair, I just did mine. So I don't need that right now and then I just started to the left section of my ear and I began to calm it down and around, and then I connect that to the back and I keep calling it around as well as I'm wrapping it. I can just tell my hands: have been trimmed. I don't know if that makes sense. Normally at this point I would go in with a brush afterwards to really smooth out my hair, but I wanted it to keep that body, so I'm not gon na do that step this time. Normally I will go ahead and brush this, but I want it to be nice and bouncy, so I'm not gon na wrap it tight. I literally just wrap it. I'M holding my head like this cuz. I don't want it to fall. So if I make a slight motion, it's on the far okay get it get under there stop looking at my edges, we're gon na fix them in the morning when I want to go and get the shears now, like. Oh weird, on my scalp, alright twister that get all the kinks out. I didn't go in with the brush, because I don't want my hair to be too flat. I wanted to keep that feather. I don't want to smooth it out so much to where he goes. I kind of, but with the being it still, we like lightweight, if that makes sense, all right, you I'll talk to you all in the morning, I just like it kinda to the side a little bit there. If I need to talk to Instagram, I steal the kind of cute right, not really so I didn't get footage that exactly next morning, so if you're - probably on Instagram this, where I kind of show the bounce in my hair, this is actually three days later. I'M just starting off by using my hands to take my hair down and then, after that, I'll go in with the afro comb. I also like to apply some type of product this time, I'm using the cheese soup confusion just all over my hands. That way, when I'm touching my hair, it's at least getting the product on it. If that makes sense - and I just keep combing my hair down hello - alright, so I'm just calling my hair down and around - and this is where I'm gon na decide where I want my party - all that good stuff. Normally I wear mines on left side, but sometimes I like it on the right just for they lift stuff. You know now like I said this is three days later, so you can see that my scalp is a little bit dry. I hadn't put any product in it just yet, but now after about three days, my hair definitely needs it. Just gon na take some of the way out growth, oil and just put that in their parting area and just kind of rub that in just so it doesn't look so dull and boring. Oh, what are your shoes nice now? It'S time to go ahead and lay and slay the edges, I'm using the 24-hour edge timer by even New York and then also this little brush. It'S like a double ND one. It has a brush on one side and a comb. On the other side, I get a lot of questions as to where I got mine. I got mine from wild greens. I have seen some in Walmart before and I purchased this other one to keep in my purse from my local beauty supply store, so I'll leave a link in my description box down below, for where you all can get one if you're interested. So whether I'm doing my edges, I kind of start off with using just a brush and then when I really want to go in on the suits I'll, take the other side which has the column on it, and it just really helped me to kind of grab. All of their hair and put it in the place of this OOP so like not a single hair inside a place right yeah, but this is definitely preference. As far as the way I like to lay my edges, everyone would do their is the way that they, you know like this, so definitely do yours. However, you like I, was about to do my swoop on the other side, but I'm like wait. You didn't even like the edges, you like. What are you doing like? That'S, not what you do so make it lay make its play. Don'T play what I say stay out the way. Okay, so I'm gon na go ahead and repeat the same steps on the other side. I was kind of putting it out because once I got to the gym like what rap you know like I'm trying to go hard in the gym like if I leave sweaty, my hair is gon na be sweaty.
