Grwm: How To Style Short Pixie Cut - Wrap Style

Hey you guys, it's me JC Whittington and welcome back to my channel. Thank you so much for watching. I'M so excited to share this with you guys. This is something that's quick, simple and easy. I know I normally always say that, but this one for real. I wanted to go with something more straight because I normally just have curls all over, but this time I wanted to go straight, not bone straight, because my hair is really thick and I wanted something that had a little bump to it and um yeah with lots Of volume in bodies - so hopefully you guys will like this tutorial and we're just gon na get right to it thanks again: okay, so we're gon na start off with grapeseed oil. I love this. It'S not heavy! It'S not super sticky, it's very lightweight, but it gets the job done now we're going to start with the flat ironing. I like to start at the tip of my head and near my ears. The goal of this is to get your curls as tight as possible. A lot of people have been asking me about what flat iron I use. I'Ve been hesitant on telling you guys, because I literally just stole this from my mother - don't tell her that I took it, but this is all I have right now. I have a really really small one, but I couldn't find it for this video. So yes, so, as I said before, the goal is to get your curls as tight as possible. You do not have to worry about the part. It doesn't have to be straight you're. Just trying to get your hair curled under so we're gon na skip to the other side of my head. I know you guys don't want to see me slide on my hair in the whole entire video. Basically, I try to get to my roots as much as possible without burning myself and without burning my ear. It happens from time to time. Ladies short, hair problems. Okay, so when you get to the back, you are literally just grabbing pieces trying to get all the way down to the root making those curls as tight as possible. Some people would stop here and be like okay, I'm done but, like I said, I didn't want a lot of curls. I wanted it to be kind of straight in flat, so what I'm going to do is wrap my hair. A lot of people think that you can only wrap your hair if you have long hair and I used to think that as well, but the concept of wrapping your hair when you have short hair, it's the same as it is longer hair, so you're wrapping it. Some people would be like: why would you waste all that time, putting curls and you'll see? Because if you try to just black iron your hair straight, it will not look right because you want straight or flat hair. You want that bump. So, that's why you do the tight curls and you wrap it around like in a honeycomb shape all the way around your head. I use a wig brush and then I use a regular brush a bristle brush and I keep wrapping it around. Some people ask: how do I take care of my hair at night? Sometimes I wrap my hair at night. Well, I use a silk scarf and just continue to tie it up. So you want to let your wraps sit for just a few minutes, maybe 15. I would suggest doing your hair first and then your makeup. So if you're like me and you did it - the opposite way buy something to do really quickly until your 15 minutes is up. Okay, so take the silk scarf off. You should have a very fast wrap and I use somewhere grapeseed oil, because I love it to give my hair some more shine so more moisture in the places that I probably didn't get it. When my hair wasn't wrapped - and you want to start taking your hair down piece by piece row by row - so don't worry about combing it flat. You just want to kind of comb it out and I'll show you what to do. Next, it's very important to comb out your hair, the right way, because you want your hair its own way. The right way use your fingers to comb through you or the fingering mistake, and you just fluff it up all the way around your head. So you see how I have a lot of value. You see how it's still fake, if not completely straight. I have a lot of bump. That'S what wrapping your hair does when you tight curl it then I use some of my narrow Busoni lotion and I smooth down my edges now, I'm leaving getting away from the edge control. This just works a lot better for me and it holds more throughout the day. I put some more on my backside and I put my silk scarf back on for a good 5 minutes right before I leave the house just to mold down that foaming lotion that I just put on then after I take my scarf off, I plouffe it back Up and I'm basically finished ladyship. This is really really easy. I told you guys it would be. You know. Sometimes, when you have curls all over your head, it compromises in lint. So this way I still have a lot of lift in the front. A lot of bump a lot of volume into that for watching
