Transforming Normal Wigs Into Cosplay Wigs

Hey guys, it's Lane store welcome back to my channel. If you haven't subscribed already don't forget to subscribe, I have been gifted three wigs, I'm not even trying to be funny, I'm just stupid from uni wigs mwah. This has given me an opportunity to tune for I'm ready to slay, so we're gon na be doing three cosplays for three wig surprise. First, one is from my hero, Academia, she's, the Frog girl, the second one, we're gon na. Try is Lucy from Elf and Lead last up. We'Re gon na do Ducky from demons layer. I'M gon na have to be cutting bangs dyeing them trimming them foreign, oh, my God, I'm so excited it is curl. Let'S put it on wow really bouncy and the hair does not fall out of the wig, sits very nice on me and tight. So let's style this green wig. So, for a little while, I'm just gon na voice over because my mic didn't work, but the next character we're doing is asui tsuya from My Hero Academy, Academia. The first thing I do is just wet the wig and then comb it on the doll head so that I can get the bags to lay better, I'm not doing too thick of a bang. But this is like the perfect amount and I'm just gon na blow dry that so this is what she looks like when she's been hair, dried and flat ironed. It'S pretty long after that, it's time to cut it, and I need to cut the bangs and I'm doing this on my head, because I can't do it on a doll. So I put it on separate the part that I want to cut. I cut that off. Surprise - and I cut it like a little triangle thing like a little arrow like she has I'm trying to not have it poke me in the eye, so it's like a comfortable wig, at least that's my goal with it. She also has like this, not Hima Cuts, but when and the front part of the hair is a little bit shorter. I don't know what to call this, but she has that because she ties the rest of the hair behind her neck. So now I've cut. All of the hair looks like on the picture that we're going for a rounder look. We'Re not gon na. Do like an elongated, eyeliner she's, pretty like Colleen. We got some mascara. We got some eyeliner, something I always say in all my cosplay videos lately is that you should do something that you feel comfortable in, because if you try to look too much like the characters, sometimes it just doesn't like suit your face, and you won't feel confident And if you don't feel confident, you're not comfortable, my head looked accurate but not good. Is this cute very little eyeliner for me, but I do have round eyes. So I feel like it's going to look good with this cosplay, so she has three bottom lashes on each eye. That'S very prominent! Let'S draw them on okay, yeah! I don't know what I think about this feels weird. Now we need the grin line. Okay, big step here, okay, I think it's gon na look good good here, okay promising it's not that bad should I maybe just keep it like that and don't mess it up by like doing too much, I'm just gon na do my lips like I always do Them the thing that is left is for me to create that little bow of hair that she has. What I don't know why this feels creepy, but I did save the hair we cut from the bang, so we have that to work with. So it's gon na look like the best, the most natural. I have an idea. You'Re gon na have to trust me, though glue gun. Am I ruining the desk? Oh, no, I'm just hot gluing together this hair to make it out to be a bow, and it looks, I guess, fine. Okay, you know what it's something I put a little hair thing here, so we're going to leave the front Parts? Okay, oh my God. It actually sat the way I wanted it to it's like sitting correctly. I did it. Would you look at that? Oh my God, girl. Look, I feel like it's going. Okay. I have no idea what it's looking like from the from the back from the back from the back. Please tell me: it looks okay, wait! Oh my god. I'Ve never tried this on the feet or actual frog Foods. What a good cosplay! Why have? I not opened this, I was waiting for the wig makes sense, full complete cosplaying coming in three and two one. Let'S go, I kind of like it. The fit are weird, but I love that they are it's just such a nice like add-on. I can't believe it's finished the whole look. I wouldn't it like sew it in a little to make it fit me better. Still, nice, so they're like attached to the the fit or something you have like these little things. You could put shoes on it if you'd like, so you can have like high heels. You have that little weird thing down here. It'S like a like a like a shoe. I feel like I overall want to give myself a pretty good, pat on the back for this wig, because it was like, I feel, like I feel like where you guys know my skill level. I can't help but to check out if my em sculpt worked. I did like my third session today, but I don't feel like it's. I feel like it made like my butt, a little flatter. I don't know so hard to tell I actually don't really check out my ass that much that sounds so weird anywho. Some comparison, pictures yeah excited for the next one, the second one we're gon na try is Lucy from Elf and Lead. She looks like this and this is who's claiming the pink wig, okay, picking it up. So as always, it's covered in nut mmm. It smells nice. So it's curly we're gon na change that, let me put it on. Oh, my God. This looks so good with my with my makeup. Today, no hair coming out feels great, really bouncy, let's style it so we're gon na turn this into Lucy's hair, and I have so many of her cosplays at home. I even have the helmet like wow, but I've never like done an actual cosplay of this. Let'S go and just get this part a little bit more pink, so it matches the rest of the wig. Look. Okay, I'm not 100 sure if this is gon na match the color of the wig. The reason I'm on the floor is because we're gon na do like the the water method. I always do it in my videos. You just put some lukewarm water, and then you put the hair dye in the water and it's gon na be like way more. Even when you put the hair in this okay, let's go, I'm not gon na put the whole thing down. I'M just gon na try and do the bangs Okay, it's not getting that pigmented! It'S a little lighter than the rest of the hair. I think I'm loving the color, though I would have been a hairdresser in another life. I swear to God, maybe one day if this turns out good it'll, be proof that I should be. I think it is as close as I'm gon na get it hey. Oh look at our Beauty, she's. Looking awesome, I was so worried. She was gon na be too like unmatching, but it's so good. I only need to flat iron her so she's, not this curly and will like get the real length of her, but something exciting for this cosplay is that I don't only have one. I have three call space for her she's done and she's all straight. It'S like longer than my my own. This time we're gon na cut the lace before we put it on. This can be pretty satisfying, but also pretty terrifying. The reason the wig comes with this is so that you can customize to your own hairline, not to make your work harder, she's done and cut. Now, let's put this little on. If you haven't seen my like how I put on my wigs, I like years later, still do the same thing. I part my hair. Oh my God, I try to clean up my room before recording now I can't find anything. Okay, I found it. You take the glue spray, the hair. This is to get this flat same thing there. I take this hair like that. I like that, so it doesn't oh slick back, and that is how I do my base for all my wigs spray again blow dry. Put a zip wig on like lift it onto the glue, take something sharp and just press it and then blow dry at the same time, and that is the way the cookie crumble. Now I have this ridiculous amount of hair to push in. This is probably gon na, like peek through a little, which I hate. Okay, I put it on a little a little crooked, but okay, so should I just change it? I switched it now. It'S even tutorial how to and then I it up and I'm like. Ah, post it anyway perfectionism, maybe I'm taking it a bit too far. She has a really thick bangs, like almost like this, we're at a risk of Making the Band really thick now, so we have to be careful. Let me cut this off yeah. I feel like maybe I should take it part by part. No, I have a vision, yeah we're at the triangle, I'm just gon na, like keep chopping it up. Okay, trust me a little I'm gon na style it with hairspray after this, but it's very choppy and I can like section it off into shoppie pieces, but it's gon na be like a little more of a swoop like that. This is cute and then okay, I I like it. I really really like it picture me so something I've had at home is her ears, so this I like, I wasn't able to buy it anywhere. So I made these myself, as you probably can't tell so. These are the outfits that I have or the cosplay that I have for Lucy at home, let's put on the first one. So for the first cosplay we have the black dress, the striped stockings, the little pink shirt. I haven't even put this together to try it ever so. This will be like my first reaction to seeing it on me as well yay foreign. I really like I wasn't the biggest fan of the bow, but I um you know the more I'm looking at it. The cuter it is, I don't think I got her vibe 100. I think I picked together a pretty good cosplay though I really, I really like it, I'm just having like a little hard time distinguishing Nana from Lucy. They look so alike, and this reference picture that I have here looks like Mama everybody else who cosplays Lucy has this on: oh, my God, what the hell! Why didn't you tell me about the most important car? This is gon na like make or break it Jesus. I can't believe I even recorded that without this on, but we have like this skirt. That'S gon na go with this red shirt. Okay, this is one of the covers for the manga and she's like wearing this. This is the closest I could find to this in the show they have like an outfit with a green hat. Inspired by this front cover boom boom slipper build. Oh, her hair is really pretty and really light pink on that picture, and it's like blowing a little laughs is it? Is it good yeah we like it so the last one is when Lucy has her oversized t-shirt and like a pair of shorts under that are green. Let me put them on okay. I think a word for our Liz. Favorite cosplay goes to this one. I don't really know what this pose is, but we're gon na. Do it yeah we'd, like um, that was it for our pink wig. Did you like it? Let'S move on to our, I think the biggest project wig wise. My first idea was to do daki from Disneyland's Lair. I have like the whole cosplay here, but the wig was more white on picture and this looks a little bit more purplish. So we're gon na go for a purple, haired anime character, and can you guess who that is? This is what it looks like just hanging off my hand, we have the white hair here and then the gray hair separating it. Let me put it on okay. Do you like it? I kind of like it. I'Ve always liked gray, but it's never been my color. Let'S go style it and we're gon na turn this wig purple with a bag. I will be mixing two different purples. I think this is the one that smells like her hair, but I want to add a little bit of spice, so we're gon na add that the whole thing this is very gray. What if we get like a gray wig with the purple again high life, it's going in? Oh I'm just kidding. I don't really know what to do now, because it's not taking to the purple color, but of course the bag is gon na take to the purple. Color we're gon na end up with a gray wig with the purple bangs. This might be the first time. Actually I've actually actually up a wig. Okay, I'm gon na go wash this out ASAP, so we can like calculate the disaster that we have going on here. Our little baby didn't turn out as bad as I thought like a little tealy purple. I feel like Brad Mondo when I do. This Rose, keeps it work. Okay, I don't know how, but it turned out to be purple, I'm so so. Well, I'm so happy like. I didn't know what to do. She has like a little Widow Peak, so I'm gon na try to do that on this lace. I'Ve never ever attempted that we have like a little widow's peak going on here, a little one same thing as last time. Why is it called a widow's peak bro? I am obsessed with this wig. I love the color girl. Let'S pull up a reference picture yeah, I think that's fine and then I'm gon na cut it a little longer. As always, we need to be able to curl it. So maybe here, oh no, oh it shouldn't be straight wait. It should be like a little angled like that any hairdresser watching this, I'm so sorry, it's giving me soft girl. I feel like this is what her hair would look like if you actually saw her in real life, so she has like some very wild curls, I'm just gon na like do like that on the whole hair foreign cosplay on, I was drooling over this cosplay. When I saw it, here's the jacket she like sparkles, a little here's, the dress, let's put it on, and this under part is a dress. It'S just so short, it's like a T-shirt size. This is what it looks like, but I would like not even be able to move an inch. I love this cross. I love my hair. I feel like this is the most important thing when you are doing like a cosplay, that you feel confident - and I feel like this looks so cute. We have the Hat as well and she has like a little to the side. This is gon na be risky, but okay, this was cute. We have this iconic picture of her. Let me try and like uh, oh my gosh, so hungry yeah wow. Let'S read all of the looks so first off we had asui. I think this wig turned out. So much better than I ever thought it would. With that little complicated bow of hair, I thought it was going to be a disaster, but it wasn't. I love how it turned out. I think the cosplay was nice. I just need to sew it another, so it fits me better, but other than that I would rate it a 7 out of 10.. Second up, we have the elephant. Mind lead. Please tell me how I pronounce that we did. The recall stays on that. I love this wig, but I feel like it was too little volume and it was a little bit too short for this look. I think the first look was the best look and then the second look was the second best look and the last look was the worst look. I guess I would rate this, maybe a 5 out of 10. and then last up. We have this look, so Ultra Ultra happy, I'm reading this at 10 out of 10.. This was the perfect look for this wig and I've been wanting to do this cosplay for so long final opinion. Is that yeah, I'm not the best?
