Hi, how are you my name is Kiana, but you can call me Kate, so many people have asked me how I did the half-up half down hairstyle. So I'm going to show you how I did it. I'M not gon na use my real hair for this. We'Re gon na use a wig. I love this wig because it feels and reminds me of my own hair when it's blow-dried also it was definitely 20 or 30 dollars. It'S not expensive at all. I will say there is a thinner one and a thicker one. I have both of them. I like both, I would have to say I like the thicker a little bit better, because I I just have a lot of hair on my head. However, if you have a smaller head or finer hair, then I would go with a thinner one. This wig will be linked down below if you want to check it out for this hair tutorial. I do have to put my own Airways, so I'm gon na do that and I'm gon na come right back, I'm back and the wig is on. All I did to put my natural hair under the wig was split it into three parts, and then I braided the back two sections and left the front section as leave out. I then put a wig cap on the back section and you want to make sure to not leave too much leave out. All of my hair is hidden under wig cap back here and then I have some leave out that I kind of just kind of just covered, like I just had to discover it. I'M going to show you guys how I blend the leave out and that's just by doing the half up half down. So let's do it. This is my real hair. It hasn't been blow dried in so long, but you're going to want to blow dry your hair to blend it better you're going to take your hair. I think I'm gon na have to do this in the mirror, but I'll be right back. So I split it up and, as you can tell, my real hair is just kind of like sticking out, so I'm going to show you how to hide it, but you're gon na put your in a ponytail I like to keep mine right on top of my Head, I think it's really cute and it kind of you'll see you'll see in order to hide our real hair. I should probably take side of my mouth we're gon na wrap it around the ponytail until it's all the way around whether what's remaining you're, just gon na bobby, pin that right in the back, I wasn't able to get the ponytail super tight, so I'm gon na Put in a floppy pen to like flatten it out a bit - and this is literally it - this is the hairstyle I like to take this and kind of like push it to the front. So it's kind of like that. I think this is after that I'm gon na take some gel honestly. I found this in my little brother's bathroom, I'm gon na use a gel brush, and this and I'm gon na, do my edges this I find helps it blend a little better, because my hair texture is different than the wig, because this is synthetic and I do My edges, I just think it Blends really nicely. I'M gon na do edges off camera, but you get the idea. What I'm about to show? You is the most important part. This right here is the most important part. Take a brush like this one. It'S like a detangler brush. I can't tell you where this from honestly, I think I got in Colombia and you brush it from the ends. Now this is what's going to make the wig look good. Unfortunately, it does shed a lot, but like the difference, you can wear it with the girls that come in it. I find this Blends so much better, though with my natural hair and it's just so gluminous and like sexy, so so I'm gon na do the other side and then you're done.
