Foreign s, it's Sarah welcome to we're back to my channel. Thank you so much for clicking on this video today, I'm going to be sharing with you an unsponsored updated wash day and style routine with all of you, I'm going to set tomorrow and my hair is super dirty, so I thought I would share with you what I'Ve been doing in and out of the shower since I have dyed my hair red for about a month now, like I mentioned this, video is 100 unsponsored, but if you do want to check out any of the products that I talk about today, my affiliate links To them will be listed down below without further Ado subscribe if you're new and let's jump into the shower. Also, if you're from Caleb's video, hey alrighty friends, I am starting off this Washi using the ceremonia papaya scalp scrub, you can get it online at Sephora. Normally, I would go in with a normal shampoo. I'Ve been liking, the John Frieda red boosting one lately, but I hadn't exfoliated my scalp in about a month, so I thought this is a good chance to do so. Following up, I use the John Frieda red, boosting conditioner. I have really enjoyed this conditioner since having my red hair, I feel like it has helped me get more of a maroon tone in my hair versus bright red, I wash everything out with cool water and then let my hair dry in a towel for about an Hour, okay, hey I'm gon na, be honest as I've gotten older and wiser. I do less for my hair when I posted my curly hair routine like two years ago in quarantine. I had the most time in the world and even if I didn't have time, I had like more interest now, I just don't really give a I'm gon na do some products in my hair and I'm gon na sleep with it damp. Just because I got my call time for tomorrow isn't until like 3 30, it's like, oh, I can sleep with a damp. That'S fine and honestly, that's what I do most days. I know you're not supposed to, but it is what it is. So just like skincare, you do want to go in with your hair care products lightest to heaviest, so I'm gon na start out with the inky list. Hyaluronic acid, hydrating, hair serum. I feel like this just makes your hair smoother less frizzy. It is relatively affordable. I think it's under ten dollars - I don't know I'll link it below and I'm just gon na put that you can put this all over your hair because it is so lightweight Next Step, I'm going to use the Whey leave-in conditioner. This also has heat protectant in it. I believe so, I'm not going to use my Aveda Heat spray. That is my all-time favorite heat protectant, but it's basically out if you know any drugstore alternatives for your favorite heat protectant. Let me know I'm open a try. This can be very heavy, so be warned it. You can go really overboard with it really fast, and it also has a very strong scent. I personally like the smell of it. I think a lot of people like the smell of it. Every time I use whey products, Sean says I smell pretty, which is a really nice compliment. If you do use, it only use a little. I use like three and then just focus on the ends I'm going to be using in this routine in the morning. I will show you how I style it just because my hair can get kind of crazy when I sleep with it damp and I figured out a good routine to style it after I've done that. Okay, it is the next day I'm in such a good mood. I'M getting ready for set, let me set the scene for you, I'm in my bathroom. It'S like 1. 15 p.m. I don't have to be there till four, I'm listening to Little Wayne, I'm wearing a cute outfit, I'm playing confident. Now the Final Touch is doing the hair, so, like I said I let it dry overnight. I feel like Rachel McAdams Indian girls right now, except not White and not anything like her okay, so the secret to styling, thick hair is doing it in sections and taking your goddamn time. For this look, I'm not going for a Sleek straight look just because I feel like at my hair length. That looks very strange. So I'm gon na go for more of a voluminous sexy beachy situation, but I'm gon na only use a straightener so step. One is to find the very bottom layer that you're gon na start working with, I always feel funky doing the tutorials because I'm like I never do this like ever unless I'm going somewhere and I never go anywhere so you know I figured it out for filming And stuff, but I'm like this is not something your girl does more than like twice a month. Okay, so I kind of play into the natural texture that I already have going on and try to enhance that rather than fight it. So, for example, this little piece right here has a nice Bend to it already. So I'm not going to flatten that out. I will curl these under using my straightener, I'm going to be using a Duval straightener today. They sent me this like two years ago and it works great. Let me know down below if you've purchased a really expensive straightener. Is it that much better than like a 50 or 60 dollar straightener? Let me know I really want to try one of those hair brushes not like the round ones, but like just the straight heated hair brush. I feel like that'd, be so easy, so with the straightener I'm going to be curling, my hair in different directions. I like to do the ones closest to my face away, because it gives me like more volume. I'M gon na start with this little piece. I'M gon na clamp it down and then you're gon na twist away from your face, and then I like to pull it down because I don't want it to be like a tight ringlet. I'M not gon na hold it for too long either down down down down down down down. I'M not gon na touch it because my hair does lose heated, curls, really fast, okay! Moving on to the back! So since this is slipped out, I'm not obsessed with the flipped out. Look unless I do it on purpose, I'm just gon na start by taking the bottom and flipping it under It's Gon na Keep Going throughout this bottom layer and going towards my face away from my face towards my face away from my face. You do not have to do every single piece of hair, especially if you're doing the underneath. I would just recommend doing like the majority of it, but the underneath doesn't matter too much. What'S up YouTube boy, cat baby baby, she doesn't even know um in love with this cat. Moving on to the second section of hair, I ended up doing four sections this day. Normally I do three, but again, I think the most important thing to keep in mind when you are styling super thick hair is to nail your sections. So again, I am just taking my straightener and making some curls towards my face and away from my face. This look is meant to be kind of messy and undone, so I don't feel like you have to perfect your curls or make it super neat or tidy, because we are going to make it a little more PC and a little more textured later on foreign. So this is definitely the hardest part. I don't know about you guys, but I have a really thick section of hair right here that loves to fall in front of my face and do this like all day long and I'm not obsessed with that look see. I, like the little like swoop - that's going on here already, so I'm going to leave that and just do the bottom section I feel like. I always get this section right and I never get this section right: foreign Ty stoked with houses. Turning out so far, I haven't brushed it out or anything or added any product. Yet one thing that I feel like can go wrong with this hairstyle. Is you just kind of try to keep making the sides a match and then it just gets really wonky. So I try to leave it as much as possible now that everything has kind of cooled down and set in I'm going to comb through my hair using a wide tooth comb and add some of the ceremonia salt texture spray, the guava beach waves. This has been my favorite sea salt spray that I have found. I do want to try like a dry texturizing spray. If you don't have a sea salt spray, you can also just use dry shampoo to kind of give some of that gritty texture back into your clean hair. What can happen when you brush it out is all the ends kind of stick out and what you can do there is. You can just take your straightener and just flip them under, because that is a little too wild for my liking. So you can just kind of grab the ends and gently curl them under towards your face. Sometimes it won't work perfectly, but it is the nature of having thick unruly hair, we're going to use the beach spray now just a little bit. You don't want it to be too crunchy. This smells really good. I'M just gon na do a little bit just for a little bit of hold foreign and then I'm going to scrunch it into my hair a little bit or the ends of my hair. I'M going to use the Whey hair oil just a little just just smooth everything out. Maybe I should unlock it first yeah just like a tiny amount. Okay. Last but not least, I normally don't use hairspray, but since I'm going to set, I figured I might as well. This is the Eva NYC Shape Shifter, flexible hairspray. I also really really enjoys the new favorite of mine, the Eva NYC freshen up invisible dry shampoo. One time I accidentally used this thinking, it was dry shampoo, all in my roots, it was not fun, I'm just going to comb through it one more time to make sure everything is nice and soft and well here is the final look of how I style. My short red and thick Bob all right friends. I hope you enjoyed this full wash day and styling routine. For my new bob cut. Let me know what other Hair Care content you want to see down below.
