Hey friends, so today i'm going to show you guys how i went from my natural curly hair texture to this blown out, look using the revere first ever reverse air dryer. The real question is: is this an efficient product? How does it compare to your regular um, hair, dryer or blow dryer, so we're going to be going through all of that right now, all right, you guys, so they sent over um this air dryer they're, not paying me to do this video, but i definitely wanted To show you guys how um it works on shorter natural hair, i have not seen many videos of it done on shorter, not your hair, so i definitely wanted to do that for you guys, but, as you can see, it came packaged quite large. This is a large, a large machine, okay and i love that they have everything covered like the the branding on this is so nice. It'S a nice sleek, looking machine, but you know i have my regular old handheld blow dryer, it's really convenient and i'm just trying to figure out like where the heck am i going to put this thing. Okay, where is it going to go? But let's go ahead and get started so my hair has been washed and it was actually washed a couple of days ago. I'M just re-wetting it here so that i can go ahead and show you guys how this air dryer works. So i got the big old. The big old time machine right here and on top it has an on off switch. That is the main power button. So this is the speed dial the higher the number you go, the more power you give the machine to tug and pull to dry. Your hair sounds like a spaceship right, but we're gon na go ahead and get started so first, i detangled each section of hair and then i simply just you know, turned it on and put my hair inside of the wand. So, in the little instruction pamphlet it says that you need to start with a three inch by three inch section um at the scalp. If your hair has a lot of volume, then you need to start slightly smaller as to not inhibit airflow in the wand. So when you hold it um to your scalp, the wand should reach all roots um by gently moving the wand mouth across the section gently dabbing, the one over the section works as well, and that's what i'm doing here, i'm just dabbing it across my hair, making Sure that i'm getting those roots and keep in mind that i do have the speed dial set to, i believe six and i'm going to show you guys here because on the lower settings it just was not getting it for me. So i do have it up. High set to um number six, so i am still going at it, and here it is you guys it's getting dry quite fast, and i'm doing this in real time. So this video is not sped up, but i also wanted to show you the temperature control, so it has three settings, it has a warm and heat setting, it has a cool shot and it has a higher heat setting. So when i first did it, i set it on to the warm setting, and now i turned it up to the higher heat setting to see what it does and you guys seen the results on the warm setting. Now, i'm going to show you the results on the higher heat setting, let's see what it does, so it definitely definitely straightens out my texture, a lot more um and i was pretty impressed by it to be quite honest, like pretty pretty impressed and it works pretty Fast and let me just tell you the power um number six was not a lot of tension on my hair, so i'm just like huh. You know number two really wasn't doing anything number two and they say to start at number two or three, but that really wasn't doing anything. For me. I needed a lot more attention because i'm guessing, i have a lot more texture. So i definitely you know, wanted to turn up the dial, but they do and the pamphlets say that for curly hair uh, the average amount of time per section should be 90 seconds for curly hair 60 seconds for wavy hair 45 seconds and then for straight hair. 30 seconds, so i'm doing this in real time. You guys and it's it's correct about 90 seconds - it dried my hair, um, so yeah. I think it's uh, i think it's pretty cool. The only thing is is that my arms, like seriously honey, you'll, get a workout and you'll have nice tone arms once you're done with this, because the the wand is heavy, it's not a light, it's not a light. It'S definitely heavier than my normal air dryer so and on each section of my hair, i tried to start off with the um low heat setting, but i realized that the low heat setting was a waste of time i needed to go higher and in the pamphlet, The high heat setting is 800 watts, the low heat setting is 400 watts and then the middle setting is just a cool shot. It is no heat, so i think i thought that was cool, that it gives you options to choose which, whichever one you wanted to do, but for me personally with my texture and in this particular area, my crown, oh, my god, i definitely needed a higher heat Setting so i'm definitely setting it higher so that it could, you know, straighten out that texture a little bit more but yeah. If you have straight hair, i think that you know the low heat or even the no heat setting would be perfect, and if your hair is more wavier, then again the low or the no heat setting would be perfect. I didn't use any um heat protectant, because when i pulled my hair out it it felt warm. It didn't feel hot at all, there's no steam from it on the high heat setting. So i'm just like okay, it's it's not even that hot, but i will tell you that the little wand, part um, did get a little warm and i'll i'll show you here in a little bit, but i felt it and it did get a little warm. So it ran across my ear one time and i was kind of like ooh ouch, that's kind of hot. I mean it didn't, burn me or anything, but yeah. This part right here got kind of hot um when i constantly ran the high temperature, so i just want to let you guys know that to just be aware, but the real test was: is it going to dry my tapered back the tapered parts of my hair? So i did the same thing i detangled and i just placed the hair right into there. I made sure that the wand was at my scalp, okay on the high heat setting, but i avoided that one part of the wine that was kind of high. That was kind of hot in temperature um, just so that wouldn't burn anything okay, but it's not it's not hot enough. I think to burn you, but it did feel a little bit hot back there on that, one so yeah. So i'm just going to continue to hold that on the shorter sections of my hair. I just want to see if this is going to work if it works on the shorter sections. That would be amazing because it would seem like this product will work for longer. Hair, because of the suction, and if you have more hair, then it has the ability to suction or pool a little bit add a little bit more tension, but with short hair doesn't really have anything to pull on. I guess if that makes sense, but um yeah um we're gon na test it right now and see how it works so yeah. I have it the same on the speed, speed, uh, six and then the high um temp, and look at that. You guys it straightened. My little bitty pieces of hair in the back - and i was so shook by that like i - was like oh okay, cool. So if this works on short hair as well so yeah, i'm gon na just um put it back on there for a little bit more. It'S still a little, it has a lot a little bit of texture and i want to straighten it out a little bit more. So, let's see what it's going to do and then i'm going to show you guys, like the short short sections of my hair and how it did get that part straight, so just continue to watch. So you guys this is what my hair looks like after i have straightened it fully with the revere reverse air dryer and my overall thoughts. This is a really cool like product. It'S a really cool invention, it's really innovative and the fact that you can use less heat. Okay, i'm considering this less heat, because that 800 watts on high temp did was nothing for me. You know what i'm saying my hair didn't even feel warm, but the fact that you can use a low, um, low heat and still get you know a nice blown out. Look is amazing. 400. Is it worth it? You know i mean to each its own. I don't think i'll be paying 400 for a air dryer just because i'm cheap and i just can't see myself paying that much money for a hair dryer. I look i'd i'd rather work harder. You know what i'm saying with my little video blow dryer than to pay 400. Is it easier than your regular blow dryer, it's heavier so uh in that area. No, but as far as the amount of time that it takes to dry, your hair is nice. I don't really have to do too much pulling and tugging and brushing at my hair with this product. All you have to do is place your hair inside the wand and that's it with your regular air blow dryer. You either use a comb or you do the tension method, and you know you're kind of you know you're doing a lot in that moment. So yes, this, this definitely does work faster than your regular blow dryer. I think the setup time and you know pulling it out the closet and things like that - i don't think it'll be a hassle, but you know having somewhere to put it it's kind of big. You know, but overall i do like it, i'm so glad they sent it to me. I will be using it over and over and over again um, but yeah. You guys check the description box if you want to link to um the rev. This reverse air dryer. If you're interested in purchasing it, let me know if you've tried it: have you guys purchased it? Have you picked this up? What do you think about it? What do you think about my results versus longer hair um? What do you think about it? On my shorter hair, let me know: let's talk about it in the comments below. Thank you guys so much for watching. I hope this video was helpful to you and i will talk to you guys on my next video bye.

Kendra Kenshay: Friends, I just found out that they offer a payment plan through Amazon. So this could be a good option for those that want to try it out. Check the link in my description box for more info

courtney harris: That thing looks like what Will Smith was trying to sell in pursuit of happiness. Go Kendra do your thing.

4C Chick: I see ppl saying no, but actually this is bomb! And for those who saying it’s too slow... ummm ya must not have 4c thick hair! It actually straightened her hair! I’m convinced! I smell tax time buy ! And probably a lot healthier than a blow dryer and those results in 90 seconds...hmmm

Robin M.: Nice to see it being used in shorter hair so thanks for that. It’s nice that it won’t damage your hair as much but it is way to expensive for the few times I blow dry my hair and it’s pretty loud. When it’s quiet, small and cheap I’ll reconsider.

Sapphire Delight: I really want this but I’ll wait till it goes on sale for 90 percent off!

Latoya Blackmon: Great to see this dryer being used on short hair because I wasn't so confident it would work but your hair came out great. For $400 it has to come with a lifetime warranty I hope!

Lauren Munson: people that say "no" never made an investment in their life. 4 trips to the salon is $400 and you spend over $400 on hair products in a year. fools.

Jaleesa4: Im ready for an asian knock off to hit the market

James Bennett: I bought one I've had it for a year and it works excellent! My hair is shoulder-length I use tension on 7 and heat on High and my whole head is dry and straightened in 5 minutes! This is the best Appliance I have ever found! Once you learn how to use it it is extremely fast and efficient and the setup takes no time at all! I also braid my hair in 5 braids. I rub a little water on each braid and put it into the RevAir for about 20 seconds. I unbraided and wear my hair down and wavy all over! I love it! Simple and easy!

lady lioness86: For 400$ I want my hair to come out bumped, feathered, hell silk pressed. For that dollar amount I shouldn't have to spend another hour or 2 curling it!

Andrea Samuel: I think it would be a good option for a beautician. They will use it more often and its better on customers hair.

Rhonda James: I like the concept of the vacuum... If it's not patented I'll wait for the Conair or Revlon version.... Great review

Lion Nees: I’ve honestly paid more money for GHD flat irons and hair steamers. Quality tools cost money! Any license professionals know this.... A regular consumer would think it’s over priced but in a commercial setting it’s so worth the cost.

Imdinma: People can spend $1000+ on a weave, $250 every time it has to be installed but $400 on a tool that can prevent YOUR hair from being damaged is too much? Poverty mindset is really bad

The Red Rose: I can't afford it, but I bet the heat suction, stimulates hair growth. It would be great before flat ironing. I want one. However, I'll wait for coupons, or a reduction in price.

Luxkeys: This is great for people like me in my opinion. Wash day is a horror show for me. I have extreme tangles and it takes FOREVER to straighten my hair EVEN just a LITTLE bit on my hair.

Junespeace: Glad to see this review on short natural hair. I like the concept & faster drying time. However, no more than I use a dryer, I will not be paying $400. This is a trial version. I expect as they continue to improve the product in a smaller version, less heavier & affordable, then I will consider. Love your results❤

Lion Nees: U did this in real time! Worth the money because I have to detangle hair all day and this would be a time saver. I’ll take 15 mins over 40

MeFirst: Not that I would EVER buy a $400 blow dryer but I did wonder if it worked on shorter hair. Thanks for sharing.

Melisha Weston: I got one, and I love it. I'd rather pay for convenience and quality, rather than work harder or pay for something cheaper that doesn't work

Jayne Tenn: Thanks, this is the only review that tested with hair that was both short and natural, and most importantly; showed how the hair was feed into that tool.

Ossie R: It better have great packaging and branding for $400.00. Looks labor intensive.

Ebony: I'm so glad to have discovered this video. The first review I watched was of someone with super long natural hair. I just cut my hair and I was curious to know how it would work on tapered kinky hair. It seemed to straighten your hair pretty well. I don't think I would purchase a hair dryer for $400, though. Especially, considering that I don't straighten or blow dry my hair very much or at all. I'm pretty much a no-heat lazy natural. LOL Thanks for posting this!

Zoar Freeman: That's a NO!!! Takes entirely too long and for $400 that thing should blow dry your hair bone straight in about 3 seconds

Ayana Nailah: The fact that they literally gave away so many of these to youtubers tells me it is marked up to heaven. But I guess if each person got one of their followers to buy on it would be worth the cost of the one they gave away. ‍♀️

Taylor S: Definitely seems to be a tool best used at a salon for the price. Great review for shorter hair!

Lbandzthaplug: Well I’m a stylist I got one and my clients love it. And it ever helps with not leaving braids wet after you dip them. And with afterpay on the website you only paying 4 payments of 99$

W: I think it did a great job blowdrying your shorter hair. Looks as if you need your ends clipt. Also, remember to use a heat protectant when blowdrying. I like the blowdryer, just cannot see me paying $400 for an appliance that probably only has a 1yr warranty. Wish it was not so bulky, took up less space & price would go down by $300.

Denise Hall: I love to watch hair videos and have watched many on Youtube. The Revair seems like a breakthrough for ladies with kinky ,curly hair.

Angel Williams: First off all, I Love how this did your hair and how you descriptively explained everything!!! Secondly, you have an amazing ASMR voice!! You should try making those kinds of videos.

Sori Yazz: 400. I think not!!!

mrsjaye parker-mosley: Nicely done sis!! That HAIR is growing to the Gods!! LOL Love it!!

kianawr: right now it is $299 and comes with a few other items as part of a Black Friday deal. But I purchased the Revlon one with the flat brush for $19 with a $5 coupon through Ulta, so I got for $14. Many reviews say it's hotter temp wise but I plan to use a heat protectant. I have long 4c,z hair and while I am concern about the panel brush part of the Revlon my coins are not that long for Revair just yet. I am considering it for time sake but that's an income tax item not an I live in the real with bills item.

Baltimore HopeDealer: FIRST - THANK YOU for showing this on short, textured hair. Also...Wow - they need to package that with foam earplugs

Hello Paola Bueso: You are stunning! Excellent review. Very thorough. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Ossie R: Your hair looks great. I’m glad you did the video, I’ve only seen people with long hair use it. I wouldn’t buy it because I rarely use the dryer I have and don’t use my flatiron, I actually gave it to my sister.

Fanci France: Greetings. I am noticing several reviews for this device. The results are longer drying time due to smaller sections needed, a stiffer look than washing, stretching and low heat hair drying using the same product.

lilmommalady76: Good product and price for professional stylists but for people on budgets that still need something extra for help, the Revlon One (H)air Brush would probably work as well.

Doriann Hamer: I would like you to come back and let us know have you found less hair breakage and how’s the health or your hair; are you noticing more length retention while using the product etc. That would make it worth the price for me :) my daughter hair is similar to yours as well as the length so I would love something like this and if it’s a quality long lasting tool then it’s an investment

tammy evans: It looks cool but I can't pay 400 dollars for a hair dryer plus my child will run and cry every time I turn that thing on. I hope the next one that they make isn't as loud and the price is reasonable. Maybe then I will look into it. But as usual your videos are the bomb. Love it

Memie Sunshine: This is more of a commercial use type product. A professional stylist would benefit more. The average consumer is not going to pay that much for a hair dryer. My clothes dryer cost 399 i mean come on.

Jackie O: I’m really considering this product thank you for this & by the way You’re beautiful!!

tasha roberts: I got it I love it worth every penny Don’t knock till you try it it’s amazing

Natural Introvert: I have to get one of these. My last wash day blow dry experience was hell and I’m over it.

Cass M: Mannn I have this in my shopping cart right now and I think i'm not going to pull the trigger. I had rose colored glasses on thinking I could separate my hair in 4 sections and do each section in 5 minutes but seeing how small the sections have to be, I'm just going to wait. China always comes through. I'm actually moving to China in a month or so, imma reach out to manufacturers and ask if this is possible to make lmao.

April Marie: I love the idea of this and would like to try it. But $400 is a hard no.

TheSnowFoxParty: I have the same hair texture as you and the same length and I've been at this length for years. It never grows past it

TashasBeautyCafe: If I were still working in the salon, I would purchase it if I felt it was better for my natural hair clients. Maybe I would recommend it to a parent with 3 or more young ladies hair to care for. I would not recommend for the everyday person. But, to each his own.

Iris: If it came with a better warranty I'd purchase this. I really want it my kids and I have a ton of hair, takes me 2-3 days to get everyone done. This could help me alot but $400 and a crapy warranty. If you drop this it's not covered. If it lose power due to wear & tear it's not covered. If you damage the cord not covered etc. My husband would kill me I'd never hear the end of it.

Shana Medley: They got the nerve to have a payment plan

mo cah: Was hoping someone with short hair would do a review and here u come. #thankful

JULIA JACKSON: I swear it’s not that serious for a hair dryer.

Natural 56 Andrews: Girl the results of the the Revair is good 400 dollars and a bulky devise maybe I'll wait til they revise the component and make it smaller I'll take one

Ebizzill: for what is worth, i love that revair sent this tools to a wide range of people from extremely long hair, to straighter hair, curly hair, highly textured hair, wavy hair, and i see now for people with shorter length hair ... they sold me... now i just gotta wait 5-10 years for when the chinese or whomever create a knock off and slash the price in half

NJ FunFriendly: Thanks for sharing, it help get the hair to easy use a flat iron if needed.

1234JANA: I hate drying my hair. I think this might work for me... Just waiting to hit the lotto. ;)

LV7095 LV: Excellent review!

V Black: No for me... I only straighten my hair once every 2-3 years or if I get a haircut. Cool concept

Tracy Austin: One time I went to the Africans and my hair was wet. Never again they took out the blow drier and pulled my shit out with a small tooth comb. Child they need this dryer in shop.

jaaaaaadore: Great review Thank you very much

Kim L: What about tugging and breakage? Is that eliminated with this dryer? Was your hair detangled? You did a thorough review by the way. The entire equipment seems intimidating and a bit excessive.

Nicole Allen: I definitely won't be buying this! It's too bulky! I definitely prefer the regular blow dryer!

ladynefertitibk: Great review!

Mavis Jones: If it works as shown in videos, I would like to have one. But probably not worth the money for me. These days I blow my hair dry maybe once every 2 years. Although, with this I might do it more often since less manipulation, less heat, etc. Maybe if I have the extra money and this is at the top of my list of things I really want. Otherwise, that money will go toward paying down debt as I inch ever closer to retirement.

CantyLand, LLC: So awesome. I want one

Naturally Mati: I think it worked but it’s too expensive!

Queen mama Fabulous: Nice but to many pieces and to big and to heavy and to much money soooooooo I will stay with the old fashion blow dryer.

Selena G.: See, that's why you're the GOAT in my book- -thank you for the video.

Shelly Reynolds: Those that would even consider paying $100.00 to purchase that. Happened to have their viable brain cells sucked out, while watching demos for this product. I wouldn't pay that much to my beautician, and when she blow drys my hair. ALL I have to do is sit there in her chair

Audrey Jackson: Your results are amazing that was my question and I have curly wavy hair got $400 absolutely not and heavy and bulky they need to start a new design on it still not paying $400

Aquarius Goddess: So beautiful love your personality and videos

AJ Apple: Gorgeous

Colette Mcwilliams: It probably doesn't make much difference.. This is on sale on the Revair site for 349.00 with 4 payments on Afterpay. It is less expensive there than on Amazon.

Deborah Spence: I think that this dryer did a great job on your hair but I would not spend 400.00 for a dryer.

Erika Yahchelle 112 ❤️: Wonder what would happen if you put a moist twist with a little gel on it in that dryer? Would it give you an instant twist out?

Calimesmerizer1: Helpful!

Sara McIntosh: Love the results! I'm not finna spend 400 bones tho

Katherine Christopher: $400 isn’t worth it…. But for someone who’s just TIRED of doing their hair, Yes it is.

Linda Hubbard-Brinston: Have you tried the Revlon One Step Paddle Brush hairdryer?

Cup Cake: A little too steep in price for me. Okay, a lot to steep in price for me especially for the number of times I would use it-which probably wouldn't be many. Although I love the concept it just looks cumbersome. I will wait until a smaller and cheaper prototype is invented. Definitely love the concept!

Tatiana Madden: I'm already over that machine.

Haitian Natural Girl: It's a free vacuum I guess it's all good the hair got to get dry somehow right

Minnyon Bey: The Revair Reverse It's not worth it to me because I'm old fashion! I like to sit under the dryer! LOL

Mariah Thomas: No mama... A 15$ Burlington dryer does a better job I would say.. But thanks for the review

Tracy Austin: Thank u for the real time video

Ashiel Israel: The money would be better spent on a generator! I love the concept but they will fail with the pricing. The natural hair products are already expensive enough.

Silver Curls ZELDA: This is 2022 and I just purchased the new RevAir! I can't wait to use it. Do you still use your RevAir?

Rauni J: Hey Queen it’s you gal from Chicago love the video now I want one of them but only if they got a huge sale. Thanks for sharing. ❤️❤️❤️

Ossie R: I’d rather spend $400.00 on a good vacuum cleaner. I don’t blow dry my hair straight only diffuse.

Deltadivaix: I really want this.

mickelluvva: It worked great, but I wouldn't pay $400 for a hair dryer.

callie ford: So the difference between this dryer and a regular dryer is that one uses a vacuum method and the other uses heat??

Hey J whats next: Not that I like the price at all and think it should come down. But we do pay a lot for braids, weaves etc. Some of us $400 to get our hair did...one time! That dyson hair blower was over 400. Again I'm not condoning the price, but maybe that's how they justified it. I'd buy it at $100 tops. $50 even better because it's not compact enough for me to store. I already have a hair steamer that I gotta roll around from room to room becuz it's so big and bulky. Plus I only use it occassionally ugh...still not sure if I bought into the hype of that one. Meanwhile I will try my cordless dyson v8 to dry my hair lol.

flamingo parrish: Hope this his comes with warranty and a silk press button cause hunty 400 bucks its not for me this time around.

Rashiiidah: J’ai hâte de tester quand ils expédieront en France !

C Jones: Could I just borrow somebody's to try? Or share one with somebody? I'm sure I'll tire of it after 1 or 2 tries, just like my knock off curlformers, flexifods, perm rods, multiple flat irons, blow dryers, and hooded dryer, all of which I either never use or almost never use anymore

terricaaa turnerrr: Nice review but this looks like it takes longer blow drying time

Eeco Heart Glow: How do we clean the inside of the wand?

holmest37: $400.00 somebody has bumped their head if I pay that for a blow dryer.

Nimat Allen: You’re beautiful, that skin!
