Oh, Oh they're, so small. I have loads of hair, it's frizzy, thick and curly, so yeah hi, welcome to beauty lab we've been busy testing the latest skincare makeup and hair care, so make sure that you subscribe the loads to see them all. So today we're testing the vo5 on the go mini styler. I'Ve tried many stylist before and I'm not the biggest fan. I just don't think they're very effective, actually curling a whole head of hair or strain in a whole head of hair. They are from vo5 and they cost fifteen pounds, which is insane considering my straighteners are like 140 pounds 150 and the fact that they're very tiny is also helpful because it means that they are super transportable. I think it's perfect for traveling, if you're going to the gym and just put it in your bag, it's really light but will seem it's actually any good because only 15 pounds. So I'm slightly skeptical about whether or not it's gon na be any good. They heat up to 200 degrees Celsius, but they only have a on/off switch which does concern me. People don't need 200 degree heat on your hair at all times. So that's some. It'S a very mind. I'M not sure how they are going to weigh up to my big beefy straightness. I have at home because, as you can see, I have loads of hair, it's frizzy thick and curly, so yeah. This is just air dried. Naturally, so it's a little bit fluffy, I'm gon na run it through the ends and see if it can get rid of some of this fluffiness. I'M not really the type of person that likes to section my hair and do it all really properly. I just I just want to be quick. Let'S see! Oh that's so small I mean my one worry would be with them being so small as that it's just gon na take ages. So that actually looks quite quite a lot. Better. Definitely look smoother than this bit here. I'M just gon na need a front bit of my hair already will be here all day because it has very thick all right, I'm not getting that in okay, I'm, oh, that's! That'S quite lovely! Isn'T it you can see him! The line of demarcation um, but I'm actually quite impressed - that's just a jersey to that side of my hair up and it feels quite soft, pretty hot, pretty good. It feels quite smooth. I was expecting to not feel so good. I'M not sure why I just assumed because they were cheaper and smaller good okay, so I'm gon na take a bit more from the back and see. If I can smooth these crinkle bits, they seem to be working definitely seems to be smoothing the kinks out behavior v. I was talking a lot of crap, but actually I quite like you. This would be really handy if I was going to the gym cuz. I wear my hair straight most of the time and my route goes like an actual brillo pad sponge, so this would be quite good to get really close to the room. Like that definitely working I mean for 15 pounds like the price of like. I think this probably cost more than 15 pounds, so the only thing I would say is that they do get really hot and because the handle is really small, you are having to kind of hold the heated plate bit so it does. It does get hot where it's normally obviously it'd be somewhere down. Here I feel, like I'd, primarily use these for straightening as opposed to curling, just because, with them being so small, it would take so long to do my hair, I'm just gon na stick to my PhDs for curling, but for smoothing any frizzy bits I feel like They'Re quite good: oh, it did work as well. Okay, I'm not bit shocked because I wasn't expecting it to be good because you spend like hundreds of pans and hair streamers if I was going to a festival or somewhere, where I just needed to touch up like had already done the whole thing, and then I Needed to fix up like these areas or whatever, then they would be perfect. My final thoughts are: they are very practical and great for on-the-go or any kind of an emergency if you needed to stay somewhere and they didn't have straighteners a friend's house, or something like that. I would just say, though, that if you have thick hair like me or if you have curly hair, be mindful that will obviously take you a really long time. If you had short to finer hair, maybe great, I would definitely get them. Okay well put 15 pounds, and at the moment I think someone said that it's on offer for 12 pounds. That'S like two two lunches at work because I work in London and lunches are expensive, so I would like stop buying two lunches just so I could get these and they're not quite the same. As you know, your ghd's, you can't do probably do as many looks, but for on-the-go, just for smoothing straightening any frizzy bits to take to the gym. I think they're great, a superlight they're, really small they're, also just really cute, and I really like them great.
