L’Oreal Steampod Flat Iron - Amazing!

The Steampod flat iron and styler has finally made its way to the states and I finally got my hands on this unique and really hyped flat iron. I decided to compare the L'Oreal Steampod to one of the best performing flat irons (* in my opinion.) on the market, Dyson Corrale hair straightener. The Steampod held its ground at a much lower price point which is a welcomed product into the hair world. If you've tried the Steampod, how did it work for your hair?

Love, Milabu

I'M finally, finally, playing with the L'Oreal Professional Steam Pod. for 250 US dollars.. This is definitely a luxury-priced item., So let's just jump right into it and try it in comparison to the Dyson Corrale. Since I think this is one of the better straighteners on the market for so many different hair types., So let's just jump right in., So the water tank is right here.. This is how you take it out., And then this right here also comes with the tool.. This is just a little squeezy tube. You fill in the water, you put it in to make it mess-free hassle-free, which is great.. You push it back in. I got it Got it folks. And then what we also have is this attachable tiny little comb? It'S also showing you arrows of how you need to use it on your hair.. So if it's going down make sure you're going down and not up., So you want to be using the comb side, down. Comb side down where you're ... Yeah. That makes sense, comb side down. Another thing other features.. It has three heat settings from 350 to 410 degrees Fahrenheit., And then it has some kind of high resistance. Anodized coating., You guys the befores and afters are insane on Sephora.. Do yourself a favor and go check them out., Just gon na fill this up with water., And it does have like a little max line which is nice. So I'll, make sure to close this nice and tight. Secure it. .... Okay, has a nice LCD right there on the inside., So it didn't really make any noises., So you kind of have to make sure you're looking if it's on or off., So I'm gon na keep it at 350 because I want to keep the Dyson also right Around 350 355, because I don't need that much heat on my hair.. Oh now you can hear it. (, hair iron, whirring ), Doing something., I'm gon na quickly brush my hair using my Tangle Teezer, my Tangle Teezer, Ultimate Detangler or just No. This is the Ultimate Finisher., Okay, so making sure I follow my arrows, which they're right here. Place it down., (, hair iron, whirring ), Very smooth., Very even. Literally sounds like I'm ironing, my hair. Wow. Do you see that [ Andrey ] Does it feel wet or no, No actually doesn't feel wet at all., And it looks very smooth and even.? Let'S go again making sure we're following the arrows.: It's making the lights flicker. The one thing I'm noticing it is a little bulky., So you get you can't get too close to the roots. Gon na get a bigger section. I want to see how that's going to work. (, hair iron, whirring, ) Wow. It'S really flickering the lights in here.. It looks pretty good., You can see right there., It didn't get all of it.. It still has a little bit of a wave happening., But the hair looks and feels really good.. I like that. I got this all in one pass., The hair looks really nice.. I like the way it's falling down and the way it's separating so nicely. [ Andrey ] Yeah. It looks pretty. Wow, that's beautiful.! Okay! Now, let's go with the Dyson. Oops. I didn't turn it on.. This one heats up really quick.. All right! I'M gon na go at 330 for the Dyson.. That'S what I usually use 330 on my Dyson Corrale. [ Andrey ], Making no noise. And there's no wire. [ Andrey ] And no wire.. So it's like magic.! Oh, you can see a little bit of a wave happening right. There. See that The plates are definitely smoother on the L'Oreal. [ Andrey ], Really Mhmm. Well, Dyson didn't have the smoothest plates. No Still has a little bit of wave. This one's doing a very good. It'S holding its own., I'm gon na bump it up to 365., See if that makes a bigger difference. And the one thing about this flat iron. I don't know if you're noticing it's keeping the hair all in one section.. It is not spreading the hair out. Was it spreading the hair out with the L'Oreal [ Andrey ] Yeah., Let's see the before, and this was all one pass. L'Oreal definitely is very sleek very smooth and very even. Very impressed with the L'Oreal., And it looks like It gave some shine., That's what I mean. Feel like. It'S been a while, since I've been impressed with a hair, tool. [ Andrey ] Yeah., Let's go back to the L'Oreal., I'm so excited to go back to it.. I feel like that. Comb is a huge addition., See how it like separates. It. [ Andrey ] Yeah., Look at that.. Are you serious? That'S so good., I'm very happy right now. You guys, if you can't tell., I'm like a little kid in a candy store right, now., (, hair iron, whirring, ), Okay, oh., And it feels so smooth too. Like so soft smooth sleek.. I feel like it looks really good at the top as well. You can see where I began right.. You can see that tiny little line right there., But it's very even and smooth. I feel like with the Dyson. I can go a little bit faster.. I feel like I want to go a little bit slower with the steam pod, just because I feel like the steam works a little bit better when it's a little bit slower. Keeping the consistent pace. I'm trying to keep it as consistent as possible with the sections And how fast or slow I'm going., I think, definitely helping with a brush or comb.. That'S how I usually like to straighten my hair. Like this is like pin straight. And it definitely looks a little more shiny. [ Andrey ] Yeah, with that one ( Dyson ). I can see a little bit of a wave still. Right here, right, [, Andrey ] Yeah.. Let me use my little brush. With like a traditional flat iron like this. That has no comb attachment, definitely use a brush or a comb.. You guys this is so fun. I love this. All right, we're still pretty good on water.. You can see where we are right: here., [, Andrey ], It doesn't look, it uses a lot., It looks like they really have it under control. Yeah, like you, can't see like a ton of steam coming out. Like the other ones. It was just like water bursting out and the hair literally was wet.. This is so fascinating.. I'M just really impressed how smooth it is. And it's not getting stuck by any means. Em. What do you think Do we like mommy's, hair so far, Yeah? I think so. Too. And you don't have to press the plates too hard., I'm just kind of pressing and making sure they're clamped together.. As soon as you clamp, the perfect amount, the steam activates, which is so nice., I'm just really impressed. Yeah. You can see a massive difference right. There. You see that So I have to start a little bit higher.. I like the way it's separating the hair.. You can even see you know What do we think. I think both sides are very very similar and there are minute minute differences.. I think the L'Oreal side looks a little bit better, starting from like up here, making its way down.. I think the ends look very sleek and very straight.. If that's what you're trying to go for. The Dyson, I think it looks really good from the very top to like about halfway.. I think the ends still have a little bit they're, not as sleek and as straight as the L'Oreal.. The one thing that I was mentioning when I was using the L'Oreal you can't really get too close to the roots.. I was kind of struggling.. You can see still some of my natural wave and texture happening closer to my roots. Versus the Dyson. I feel like it picked up a little bit more hair closer to the roots and it did a little bit more consistent and even result.. It gave a better, consistent, even result towards the roots, but wow you guys look at this. This looks so good.. I am so impressed. Like very impressed with L'Oreal.. Let'S compare the waves for both of these flat irons. And I did look. They did keep the attachment on for the waver. I mean for the comb for when they're waving the hair, So I'm just gon na quickly. Go for it. And if I have any other comments, I'll mention it while I'm waving the hair. [ Andrey ], Is it smooth It's very smooth yeah.? But it's not it's not giving me much just because it's so big.! You know what I mean. It'S a very smooth, look look at that., It's super smooth., It's just the waves are gon na, be big. I'M gon na be honest.. I'M slightly slightly disappointed that I can't really get the best waves with this flat iron, but I think I think it's okay honestly.. Just because it straightens so well. - And I think the results are so great that I'm not even mad that it can't give my hair a nice wave., Don't get me wrong. You can definitely make this work to give you a bend a wave here and there., But the look is very inconsistent. And I think a wave to use this as a waver is gon na, be much better for somebody that has longer hair.. But the thing is why it's not working great as a curling iron or a waver is because the plates they're not close to the edge of the packaging., For example the Dyson, when you close and you bend or twist the flat iron. It'S getting the heat very consistent throughout the section of hair., So that's why you can get a really easy, curl wave different types of waves on your hair with the Dyson., But I think this is this tool is helpful for those that already have really textured really Curly coily hair that want that really sleek straight smooth look., I think you'll be able to achieve this.. I'M really really impressed and blown away by this flat iron.. Please! Let me know if you have tried this., Please share your before and afters., I'm so excited.. The only thing is, you can't really get too close to your roots, but I think, like I said, I'm okay with that., Because the overall result is really beautiful.. I'M gon na keep you guys updated for the next several days.. I really want to see which side is going to hold its own., See, which side gets more kinky., I'm hoping that this side is not gon na poof out because of the steam., That's kind of what happened last time I did the steam flat irons. The one Side just poofed and it just didn't look good. All right I'll. Keep you guys, updated. I’m doing the next day update for the hair. I want to see what it looks like did. Some of my wave come back What’s going on with my hair after straightening with the L’Oreal Steampod. I think Dyson is looking a little bit better., I’m, not sure what happened here. I haven’t been wearing my hair up.. I think it happened. Last night I slept pretty weird.. I don’t know how it got crinkled this bad., But it’s only right, here. And then a little bit of my natural wave is coming back right. Here. On this side, it still looks kind of good… right here., But also a little bit wave is coming starting to back as well.. I feel like overall… … the Dyson looks a little bit… a little bit better., But they both still look sleek straight and very smooth.. We’Ll see what I look like on day. Four, at the end of the day. [ nervous laughter, ] I’ll see you guys tomorrow.. Finally, on the last day for the L’Oreal versus the Dyson - And, I have to say, I’m still very impressed with the L’Oreal. - I still have this little thing right here But, like I said, it’s, definitely probably how I slept because it’s not disappearing.. I think they look both very even., I’m just looking from side to side.. They both have a little bit of a bend happening Because I’ve been doing this. I’ve been trying not to really do anything with my hair for the past several days. To really kind of give it a chance to see what it’s doing. They both look very similar.. If anything, I think this right here is the only difference I see., Because they look so similar For a tool to perform that well at straightening hair in comparison to the Dyson.. In my opinion, the Dyson Corrale is one of the top tier flat irons on the market.. It definitely has really great technology with the floating plates It’s cordless. It has great battery time and just something like that: There’s still nothing that really compares to the Dyson Corrale., But I think the Steampod it’s a huge and great competitor against the Dyson for straightening hair.. The one thing with the Steampod it’s, not cordless., So it’s, not as convenient., You have to put keep putting water into it. The next thing, it’s, not as versatile.. Yes, you can make this work to give your hair some kind of waves, some kind of bend…, But because the plates they don’t go all the way to the end of the packaging. That’S where Dyson beats it. The plates are right up to the edge and because they’re floating plates It makes the waving process so easy and so effortless.. So in that regard, Dyson wins., And I think somebody that has textured hair coily, hair curly, hair Somebody that has a hard time, straightening their hair and keeping it really nice sleek and straight, I feel like you - will find this really incredible for your hair And for Your hair needs and hair wants. If you’re looking for something more of a versatile tool. I don’t think this is for you, especially for the two hundred fifty dollar price tag. Go for something like the Bioionic. It’s, a great flat iron with vibrating plates. But if you want something cheaper, something like Kristin Ess., Something like the Conair titanium with the rainbow plates.. Something like that. You know they’re, just really simple straight to the point, But they perform really well. You guys. If you have tried this…, Please let all of us know… How the results were for you, What kind of hair do you have? What was the best way you found? This worked for you and your hair, But for now you guys thank you for watching spending time with me and these really awesome hair tools, [ snaps, fingers, ] and I’ll see you in the next one very soon., Bye, Muahhh,

Mishmish: You should also mention that the Steampod causes 78% less damage to hair than traditional straighteners and causes less colour fade. It's an awesome product. I've been using it for 3 years and my hair is in great condition. And you can get much closer to your roots if you put it at 90 degrees to your scalp when starting. I've got curly, frizzy hair and it leaves my hair soft, shiny and straight for days. My hair is also much less susceptible to humidity. I couldn't be without it.

Sarah Sinton: What I don’t love is the latest trend of all these expensive hair tools. How much money do people think we possibly have??

Afton Strain: The first straightener I ever had in like 2004-2005 had a comb attachment. It was amazing. I don’t understand why that didn’t remain a feature on straighteners - makes a huge difference!

MissIms: I live in Australia in a humid climate. Traditional straighteners strip all of the moisture out of the hair, so the second I step outside - poof! The moisture differential means my hair just goes frizzy. Plus my hair is naturally quite brittle I couldn't use a straightener regularly without my hair being incredibly damaged. LOVE my steam pod, I've been using it for 5 years

Jenni Bee: The first straightener I ever owned 20 years ago had a water tank and used steam...thought it was the biggest inconvenience at the time. Literally felt like I was using an iron on my hair. Was so excited when the waterless straighteners came out never thought I’d see these again! I’m sure the technology is way better with this one though!

1vwilliams: I returned it after talking with a few stylists that warned me that steam over time damages the hair cuticle. I noticed after using this for 1 month my hair started feeling more damaged which was why I spoke to different hair stylists.

Eloise Dicker: I have this iron!! I love it!!! I get beautiful waves too (my hair is longer) BUT I learnt that you can’t use it upside down to do the curls like you do at 10:44 because the water in the chamber isn’t being sucked up the little pipe!! You have to curl with the bottom of the iron down!! That was a little learning curve for me, but it gives super beautiful “blow out” style waves on long hair

J G: Just ordered a steampod after having my hair done with it at the salon. Obsessed!! What a huge difference in my hair!!

Shannon Abbott: I bought it after Christmas on Sephora and I love it. My hair is naturally curly and it stays straight for days after using the steampod

Priscila Bee: In the beggining the Loreal looked better but the end result of the Dyson was more beautiful.

Kelly Tweddle: I had a steam straighter 20+ years ago, they quickly went out of production when manufacturers replaced them with ceramic straighteners because of the damage the steam caused to hair so... i'd be interested to know what's changed.

Niamh Brennan: I have the older version with the stand alone pod. Slightly cumbersome but the result is worth it. I do have to use my ghd to get my roots but the result from the steam pod overall is far better than any other straightener i've ever used

Tabitha Burnsworth: I’d rather have a flat iron that I know for sure can get all the way to the base of the section. I HATE that crease at the top. I got my Kristin Ess flat iron for like $60 and I love it. For $250, I’d expect it to not have that crease at the top.

Shari B C: Wow! My hair is naturally very curly, in some areas. ‍♀️ But using a flat iron nearly ruined my hair trying to get it straight. But a steam iron just might be what I need! I’m going to check it out! Thanks!

Kalisha J: As far as flat irons go I just don't think the dyson is that great, I think the technology is great but in general I don't like the results . I thought the loreal was really nice because the steam keeps moisture in the hair but if I can't hit my curly roots then it's no good to me, lol. This was a really good video!!

SB E: My very first flat iron in the 90s was a steam iron made by conair. It was good as a newbie so I didn't get my hair but I think the regular ones I have had since then work much better.

Angelina: I have thick, naturally wavy hair. Now medium length. Got my first L’Oréal steampod about 7 yrs ago. Through my L’Oréal stylist. Stopped working well as I used it probably daily x6 years. so I bought my 2nd one in the last year. I will never go without one. $400 Cdn.including serum and oil. Always use the serum heat protection before. Finish styling with oil. THE BEST APPLIANCE EVER!

Gabriel Enderle: I had a steam straightener about 15-20 years ago. I liked it ok. It was a cool thing back then but then they went out of style when straighteners really became more technological and advanced. I hated that I had to fill the water part constantly.

Ma Ja: I love my steampod I just use it to straighten my hair or to give it like a blow out look! You should definitely use the steampod cream before!! It makes such a difference.. hair is so soft and smooth

Joana Oliveira: I have type 3A hair, tail bone length and I live in a city where the humidity is always at around 80%, so believe me when I tell you that the Steampod is the best flat iron ever! It takes me 15/20min to straighten my hair and it will last me perfectly for as many days as I want! Zero frizz, even if I go out in the rain, the worst that can happen are some waves without any frizz! You quickly forget about it not going close to the roots! I have the Steampod 2.0 and it was way less expensive back then, it costed me less then $150 brand new, still I would buy it again for $250, because it is That Good!

C. N.: I just bought one! I have curly hair, now using the steampod my hair is very sleek and soft! I don’t have that with other styling tools so I’m very happy

Kerry Cook: I love my steampod, IV had it for a couple months $330au and it's Amazing, I' have bleach blonde wavey hair and this tool makes my hair feel so soft smooth and sleek and shiny it's great. I will say though you are meant to use demineralised water (distilled) and not tap water. As it's so expensive I'd deff use the correct water as it will last longer.

gettoknowalex: I‘ve had the steampod 2.0 for almost five years now! Big love. Am looking to upgrade to this one, as it seems to be less clunky and more practical! I love doing blowout-esque waves with my one, but can‘t figure out if they‘re both the same width?

Adelaide D: I m still on my version number 1 of the steampod... Still works great after 10 years almost... Only plus is the newest one 3.0 allows curls with the rotating cord... Xx

Catalina Randle: Thank you very much for reviewing the Steampod I think that for my fine wavy frizzy hair the steam might be helping with infusing some hydration in my hair.

AH330: When i was a teenager early 2000s we would literally lay down and have our friends iron our hair with a clothes iron! It actually looked great but horrible for your hair. I feel like this gives the same look but less damaging

Thunga N V: I’m so impressed by the way you test a product and give your opinion.. really appreciate it.. lots of love from India ❤️

Amber Stephens: This is not a new concept. I had one in the mid to late 90's when I was in college. The water chamber attached to the top of the straightener instead of the bottom like this one. I don't know who made it or anything, but I loved it! I used it for years and it always straightened my hair perfectly! I'm glad to see they are coming back, but would be nice if it was a better price point.

Iris: I have the old l'oreal steampod which is a bit unhandy because of the separate watertank. But it makes my hair so smooth. And the best is that your hair stays straight even in humidity

wldflwr78: I love how you do comparisons. I've noticed you use a specific brush with your fine hair. Could you do a comparison of brushes? Maybe the WetBrush vs.Tangle Teaser vs. Framar etc.???

Lea lea: I was born in 84. I remember the very first hair straighteners that came out. Babyliss brought q steam one out over 15 years ago me.and my friends used to use an iron before we had hair straighteners lol

toastie624: Can you do a comparison of this with one of the steam straighteners found on Amazon? I have seen a Conair one (it's red), and a brand called Swan Star, and there may be others, with a much better price point. Thanks!

Nikol.b: I have the steam pod 2.0! Tip,When you wave it ,try without the comp. I used It so many times and really helps.

Atlantis4056: I tried the Dyson and it’s definitely not worth the price plus it’s really heavy. I’m going to give the Steampod a try.

Beverly F: I'd love to see you test the Caruso Steam Hairsetter. Its steam-powered like this, but for curling the hair.

Lisa Fawcett: Nice! Very smooth. Out of my price range, but something to think about.

Ashley Beadle: Girl Sally beauty sells V shaped combs for straightening and with ANY FLAT IRON IT'S A GAME CHANGER! Called the Tool Structure professional straightening and cutting comb! Just got my first after YEARS of flat irons and I agree they changed my life and like 5 10 bucks black and grey!

Danielle S: I liked the look of the Dyson side better tbh. Plus it's a better investment because you can use it to wave/curl

Charr Ski: I have super kinky frizzy hair and I really don't like my hair poker straight but that is the only way to tame my hair so I will have to try this. I wish they would come out with a smoothing iron that really takes out frizz but leaves hair in a natural wave.

Ellen Db: I always wonder ... how and where do you store all these big appliances?

Ingrid B: I have two steampod just to be sure if one broke the bigger model . I have corse hair and I manage to straight and curl my hair with it no problem. For best and better results use the product that comes with it. Love love it!

J Lee: I'm curious to know if there was a difference in static? My hair gets really static-y when I straighten it in the winter. It would be amazing if the steaming method reduced that. (Or does it help keep hair straight in humidity? That would be amazing too!)

Debbie CS: So impressed with the L’Oréal tool.

Valia Athanasiou: I have it and it's the best investment I have ever made. I super frizzy, curly hair that even after a blowout and a hair press, won't stay straight no matter what and it will get oily after a couple of days. With the steampod I press my hair once, literally press each section once, and my hair stays straight and clean for about 4 days also the shine I get, is unbelievable.

Deb Deb MUA: I had the dyson and with having hair to my bum it just wasn’t worth it. It would die half way through and for some reason you couldn’t use it with the wire plug in. So it would still die. I was super sad as I’d heard so many good things xx

madoka or: Thank you for not washing your hair for 4 days to give us the best review.

Roseaglow: We need to have a video dedicated to something your husband enjoys doing. He is always so supportive and show so much interest in you while filming. I think that would be pretty cool. Or maybe a video of cool men’s products he likes if you wanted to keep with the theme of your channel. Kudos to your husband, he seems pretty great. I’ve got one of those too. They are a rare treasure.

Cynthias stylemua: Wow! This has been out in Europe for years. Interesting video. I'd use distilled water with this tool, so it lasts longer.

Me23 0648: In my opinion I think both of them are no good you should definitely try the Golden Curl flat iron and also the wand, it’s amazing!

Orsolya Hier: Hi M&Family! I have the L'Oréal Steam Pod previous, from Agus 2020.and my hair is curly and since then I have a style =New Women!! Thanks for the review! You are a star

Sophie De Borger: i am also in love with the steampod! you should try it with the steampod products. With these products the hair is so damn soft! i just cant keep my hands of my silky hair! it is adictive to go trough your hair with your fingers... best feeling ever.... always had a hate relationship with my hair before, well that is over now!

Vicki Zeimen: I appreciate your review however I'm more interested in finding out how things I can afford will work for my very straight, post menopausal hair. I just saw this "Remington Pro Wet2Style 1 1/4" Hot Air Curling Iron" at Walmart and wondered if you'd do a review for us?

Rae Edwards: I'm curious to know what you do with all the hair tools you try out? Do you keep them or donate/give them away? You seem to try so many different hair tools if you did keep them storage would be crazy lol!

Alina Valentino Fonseca: We are gonna need a fusion of both of these flat irons

A: I have both. I bought the steam pod professional first and it’s useless if the weather is damp (all your hard work )causes your hair to go frizzy... Also if your living in a hard water area you have to buy water.. cost $8 dollars for 5 litres also if your hair is thick you have to fill up the water valve a few times ..You have to buy all the steam pod hair products to get any lasting out of your hair ... This all adds up ... As for The Dyson Corrale I didn’t hear the bleep to say it reached its temperature which was high one and it heated too fast ..I think she had it not on...I love the Dyson Corrale and the customer service is excellent.

Dannielle Williams: Hi, I love your videos and love your product reviews but we need more renovation videos in between to mix it up a bit… either way I enjoy watching you and your family so I never watch a ‘bad’ video but I’m just so interested in how your home is coming along ❤️

Harley Hallow: I have literally just ordered one today I am SO excited! Especially after watching your video haha

Twistedbambi: I love how your partner makes comments like "yeah Dyson doesn't usually have very smooth plates". He sounds like a proper expert!

Haf-H: Im just here to say I am loving the frequent uploads, I would love to see a comparison video on nude coloured boots, have not come across a good one yet, and yours are the best!

Rebena Q: Looks awesome. You look stunning as always. X Can you review Remington Hydrolux straighteners, please? It is meant to be not as damaging to your hair. I really value your opinion. ❤

Kathleen Martin: When you said Loreal i never expected that price tag. That is insane 250! ouch I'll stick with my revlon that was under 30

A K: The dyson side looks better. I can’t stand when a straightener can’t get to the root.

sarahxameliaable: Hi great tutorial and I learnt something new. My partner brought me them for Christmas and I didn’t know the comb was detachable ‍♀️ thank you. I know this video isn’t make up related but can you tell me the name of the Tom Ford mascara that you use that makes your lashes looks like falsies. I cannot find it in any of your videos. X

Hetti Fejes-Szalai: hey! I have the same steampod too, next time I recommend You to use it on wet hair and also use the steampod creame and oil, it makes the best result! :)

Courtney du plooy: As a curly head, the price isn’t that bad too me. 75% less breakage with the steam technology sounds like an investment to healthier hair

Ann Woolley: I have had my steampod since Xmas 2020 and would not be without it now. . I have coarse, frizzy hair but with the steampod it feels softer and is much shinier, condition seems much better and it seems less damaging. If it broke I would HAVE to get another one straight away.....(says it all!

Crowned Lily: I've fully embraced my natural wavy hair. But here I am still watching these kind of video's. ‍♀️

Lily Myers: I'd be interested to know if you can use the loreal for waves or curls or only straightening

Fiona Darragh: Hi, The results are amazing with the Loreal Steam Straighteners and with one pass . I'm on the hunt for a good pair of straighteners but these are really expensive and I couldn't afford that. Would you know of brand that is more affordable that does just a a job? I would like to know your thoughts !

Mijail Dimopoulos: They both look almost exactly the same. Sleek, shiny, but in my opinion Steampod wins because is literally 250$ less than the Dyson and that makes a huge difference for almost the same results and even though the Steampod can't really curl or wave your hair with the money you saved by not buying a Dyson you can get a curler or wand or maybe even more for different sizes of curls. Sorry Dyson but your 500$ Flat Iron got schooled by L'Oréal

BekieSkye: It come with two products to use with it aswell!! Would love to hear your opinion on those with the tool!!!

Lunaqueen: That was a seriously thorough review! Ty!

M H: Got this last year already. Need to learn how to do the wavy look with it. I’m gadget impaired

J: Also, isn't it true that heating hair when it's wet causes breakage?

Joanne Shaw: Honest opinion do you think the Dyson is worth the cost? I’m so tempted to buy it for straightening and curling my hair

pseudonym pseudonym: I've used stream appliances for years. Hair always feels so soft and smooth... at first. Over time you may find that steam can damage your hair. Be cautious and don't over-use.

Sumerianharp: Mila what do you do with the hair stylers you review after you are done with them?

Edwina McManus: I have this it leaves my hair as shiny like glass.

Helene B: To get to the root you tilt your head more. Also, you pass it through the hair faster and multiple times.... Youll see an incredible difference with the steam pod

Mark Mino: you can go as tight to the root as you can, dont be scared it wont burn you, there is a cold protective barrier that allows you to go as close to the root as you need.

Emily Heylen: I have bought it myself but a perfect tip is use the the steampot conditioner and before using it use the cream. With the cream it will get much more shine. Also before using it wait for the steam to come out utherwise u're damaging u're hair. Also never use water from the sink! In the instruction Manuel should stand which water to use. With the L'Oréal it is destilled water. Please check that it is so important!! Much love!! ♥️

Diane Peluso: I will be buying that steam pod tomorrow for my thick hair!

Tanja Bastigkeit: Thank you for testing it. I heard a lot good things about it.

Daniel Rocha: My sister had a straightener like this in early 2000s

The Real Macaw: I was stoked until i realized it was $250.00.

buddy holly: I think you need a comb with the straighteners. My hair is wavy and doesn't stay straight for more than the morning. So curling it just lets me embrace my texture and still looks good

Melody Rose Leon: Could you do a video where you rate every flat iron you have?

Henriëtte: Realise what it would look like if she had curly/frizzy hair. Unable to get to the roots. And that for 250 dollars??? I have thick curly hair and I was searching for the right straightener for years and I found it! I use the Remington keratin protect for 6 years now. Its only 40 euro's and its amazing! Hair gets straight after 1 try and it stays good for days.

Noriko Mento: I bought it not long time ago.  The  plates on the steampod only meet at one end and it requires a lot of pressure to bring the plates in full contact with each other. This means that without squeezing the plates together my hair slips through without being ironed. If I squeeze the plates together to get good contact, one end is so tight that it pulls my hair out.   How’s yours?

Lorraine Morris: Been waiting for you to do a review. The steamer is really expensive but I want one desperately.

AndreaRenata Gomez: $250 for a tool than can only straighten your hair, nah, thanks. I'll stay with a regular flat iron that can actually do everything and just do multiple passes

Julz Alta: I would caution people about using such "steam" irons. One of the most common cause of damage by using heat tools is what people often call 'bubble hair" : at 100 degrees celcius (I don't know how much degree Fahrenheit that is), water evaporates, and your hair tend to cling to water naturally, so when it evaporates quickly it deforms the hair and damage it from the inside. I feel like those irons would be more likely to give you this condition than standard ones.

Diana Ornelas: I loved mine it is pricey but i feel is so worth it

Szidonia Daniel: Omg so happy to see this video. I was waiting for this for ages!!! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Shivani Kulkarni: Love this! Have you compared Amika hair brush vs. Revlon? I come to you for all things hair.

Baltimore Bee: Steam straighteners might not be the best for your hair type. Your hair doesn’t look much different to me before and after. They’re the best for naturally coarse frizzy thick hair. Because they infuse moisture via steam into the hair shaft. A lot of naturally coarse frizzy haired girls guys have low porosity hair which has trouble maintaining moisture. Steam straighteners have been a game changer for me. I’ve tried T3, Dyson, Chi, GHD and nothing works like my steam straightener.

pirhan: Hola! Would you be able to make a video on how to air dry your hair so it looks nice? I air dry and my bangs, part and pretty much everything is a mess. Help! xoxo

Jazmin Suarez: That looks so cool!

joeljack1: Snaps to Loreal. They've always been into hair and not vacuum cleaners! HA!

Hannah: Wow. I need this in my life
