Hot Hair Comb Straightener!

So combs are great! In front of us we have a HOT hair comb that claims to straighten hair. I think it's a great idea, but does it do a better job than other hair staghteneing products like flat irons or hair straigntening brushes. There is a lot of competition. I'm gonna test this product and see if it's worth looking at this product or if it has any advantages over other products on the market.

XO,

Hi, and welcome to my channel! I am a Beauty Addict and love to create how-to beauty tutorials for short hair and hairstyles, Fashion, and some dry humor parodies. I try to make my videos informative, creative and most importantly entertaining.

I love interacting with my viewers. Let's get to know each other.

Love, Milabu

Today, I'll be playing with a hair-straightening comb. I've seen these around for a long time.. I just never really jumped on it, because I thought it was more for men for beards and their hair, but they're showcasing it. As for men and women.. You could straighten your hair and I actually saw someone curling their hair as well.. So this is what it looks: like. This retails for $ 21.99 on Amazon., Andrey purchased, it., And it has pretty decent reviews. I would say. I mean there's so many of these on Amazon.. This is just this particular seller that Andrey bought it from. And they're. Actually, advertising that you can curl your hair as well curl and straighten., I'm looking on their page, their store page.. So, let's try it out.. If you have tried this before, let us know what you thought., If you have a beard and you've used this, if you have short hair, if you use this and if you have long hair, if you use this, how did it work out for you? I have it set on their highest temperature setting.. I might lower it.. So, let's begin., I'm just gon na brush it through just to make sure- [ Andrey ], Your hair's really curly., Guys something's happening with my hair. After pregnancy, even before pregnancy. It started getting a little bit more wavy.. This is my natural hair., Some spots. It gets really wavy. And I don't know maybe it's the pregnancy after hormones, whatever you want to call it., [ Andrey ], All right be careful.. I know I can actually feel the heat. And I'm just gon na go through it. It does it it's literally like a comb but heated.. It looks like it's struggling.. It'S not it's very smooth., Not bad.. My hair is not that hot though. I'm gon na put this down.. I don't want to burn myself. [ Andrey ]. Are you up at the highest temperature Yeah, I'm literally in the highest., And they have this in Celsius, which is 200 degrees Celsius, which is what in Fahrenheit converted [ Andrey ]? Is it 400? Let'S see., It's not really pulling the hair., I'm just going slower, so it can get ... [ Andrey ], Yeah 400.. It'S not really straightening the hair.. Maybe this way is gon na be better.. [ Andrey ] Yeah put tension on it.. It'S getting rid of a lot of the bend, but it's not really straightening the hair ,'cause. It really can't you know, And my hair is not getting stuck.. It looks like it is, but I'm just trying to go slow. And I'm trying not to touch the barrel or this metal ,'cause. I don't want to burn myself., I mean that's, not bad honestly.. I mean it's not getting rid of okay. The actual comb. It'S pretty smooth through the hair. When I took it out of the packaging. It doesn't look that smooth.. It looks like just straight up metal, you know, And it doesn't look like it's gon na go smooth through the hair, but it kinda reminds me of the metal combs that I have the teasing, combs and they're metal as well and they're pretty smooth as long as You brush out your hair beforehand with a brush or something like this to get rid of most of your knots.. It'S not sleeking the hair. It'S not straightening. The hair. Does that, if makes any sense., But it's kind of it's helping, basically really smooth the hair out and getting really into a lot of the hair., Because it is a comb, but it's heated.. So it's helping somewhat., But you can see a huge difference.. Look at that., It's still very kind of poofy voluminous. If that's the look you're going for., It's not it's-, It's kinda natural., It's very interesting. Yeah. I feel like this would be really great for people with really really coarse, hair, really textured hair that need extra help and you use your flat iron over and over again.. This might be great beforehand and then go in with your flat iron, like I mentioned.. So you see it's not really: it's not calming down the frizz.. I feel like it's kind of exaggerating the frizz in a way.. So that's I would actually go back in with a flat iron to smooth my hair out even more., But it does feel nice. Babe. Maybe you would like this on your hair. [ Andrey ]. I rarely use a comb. ( chuckles ) Yeah, that's true.. It does pull out hair though, but not as much as those other straightening brushes.. I like that. The hair doesn't get really hot., That's really nice.. It'S comfortable. All right. So, let's see from side to side. Like I said, I've already went multiple times over a lot of these sections and it does not want to straighten. So, but we can see a difference. A huge difference right, Massive difference.. Look at that. [, Andrey ]. It does look like there's a lot of frizz on it. It is. [, Andrey ]. Is it frizz or volume? Well, you can see. The hair is really kinda sticking out the pieces that were kinda, more wavy, curly. [, Andrey ], Kinda drying them out almost I'm, not sure, but the hair feels pretty good.. It still has a lot of movement to it as you can see, but it's not straight and it's not smooth and it's not sleek., It's just it basically detangled the hair and somewhat straightened it out. If that makes any sense. I'll keep repeating this.. This will not get you super sleek, smooth beautifully straight hair. You'll need a flat iron for that, because you need the two plates to really pass through each section., But this is great to really help start the process detangle everything kind of stretch, your hair out. If that makes sense., I'm just gon na do the one side of my head, so you can really see a difference. If you have really textured hair, curly, hair, textured, hair hair, that you need extra assistance to straighten your hair and if you've used this product. How did it work out, for you Was it good? Was it just a nuisance? Was it just something extra that you really don't need in your life, or was this something that kinda changed your life, your hair life, I kinda thought- And I'm getting pretty big sections? Sorry Babe. I'm getting pretty big sections'cause. It'S got a pretty wide comb., So you can kinda really get in there and just very gently brush it through. [, Andrey ]. I kinda thought that it would work better. Yeah, but then I didn't at the same time because ... (, sighs, ) [ Andrey ], I feel there's much better tools on the market., Like the TYMO [ Andrey ] Yeah., But this is, I think, I feel like It'S a lot quicker and you can really get closer to your scalp with this tool.. But then the TYMO see you don't really need a flat iron afterwards and it really tames your hair. And so many people with textured and really curly hair. They love that tool and they don't even use a flat iron afterwards.. So with this I'm kind of like who would really enjoy this, Are there men in your life that have used this tool for their beards for their hair? Did they enjoy this See? You can kinda see it. And it's creating that frizz., I'm not 100 % into this tool, just yet.. I like that it detangles the hair really nicely before you want to go in with a straightener. If that's what you already do, or you straighten your hair before your curl it, this might be really nice.. But then again I see myself not using this tool, just because I personally like to use a comb or a brush in conjunction to my flat iron. I'll. Just take a section of hair. and then I'll take a flat iron and I'll go right on top of it, really nice and gentle., And that way at the same time it detangles and it smooths the hair out for the plates. So the hair will lay nice and flat and even., So I'm kinda thinking, if you already do that, then this is just gon na be another extra tool. That'S just gon na lay around honestly, because the results they're not nice, for the hair to just do this. On its own, without any other tool, you know what I mean, I'm looking at my hair and honestly I'd go out with my hair like this. Instead of like this ,'cause, it's so frizzy and it's poofy in all the wrong places - and this is just my own personal preference. - I'm thinking in the future - would I use this and then go in with the flat iron? No, I wouldn't personally because I already oh that's hot. Yeah, you got ta, be careful, ( chuckling ), not to burn your scalp. Just because it's adding so much frizz. Babe! You want to get closer to see what I'm talking about. You see all those hairs. Yeah. right there, how they start sticking out [ Andrey ], Turn a little bit towards me.. You see that I'm gon na quickly finish and then I want to come back and kind of talk about this tool. All right. So we got one side done and I really just wanted to compare from one side to the other. And you can see how much extra frizz I got. If you're hearing something I'm just he's on the monitor right, now., I'm just watching him. ( chuckles ), But The one thing I was kind of interested in was how close can I get to the very top to smooth or straighten it out, And I think it actually did a pretty decent job because, like I said this, entire thing is hot. All of these little combs, the bristles. They're, not essentially bristles., I mean kinda, they are, but the cutouts, the comb cutout is all hot. All of this is hot., So you have to be very careful not to burn your scalp not to hold it on your scalp'cause. You can burn your head., But it honestly did a pretty decent job, getting rid of some of the kinks. And I'm looking it kind of evened it out., But the rest of the hair. The results it's way too frizzy for my liking.. It'S way too poofy. For my liking. - And it doesn't really have that movement or that body that I like with my hair when it's straightened and it honestly looks fried., It doesn't look healthy. Does that make sense. [ Andrey ], It looks bad., It doesn't look great., That's what I'm saying. This tool on its own. I don't think it's great.. It might be good with something else, with a flat iron afterwards or a curling iron. Afterwards, if you have very curly, very coarse, very unruly hair and you need extra help., So you might enjoy this, but I'm thinking I would rather recommend the TYMO, because what's the TYMO under 50 bucks or 45 [ Andrey ] 50 bucks., I think it's around $ 50, depending when they have a sale or not, but it's a $ 50 hair tool and you don't need to use a flat iron afterwards.. So even though this tool is pretty inexpensive for roughly $ 22, it's still, I think, a tool. That'S just gon na sit in your hair-tool collection in my opinion. Personally, it's probably gon na sit in my collection.. I just thought it would work a lot better., It's kind of disappointing, but then this is kinda what you get for something like this. Again, if you have used this tool - and you have very textured hair - maybe really curly hair - maybe really unruly hair. How did this work for you? Please? Let us know your results. If you still use it, if you like this tool., But for now you guys I'll see you guys in the next video very soon bye. ( Blows kiss )

Hanah: Hot combs are meant for courser hair. My boyfriend occasionally uses it on his beard but follows up with an oil to control the frizz.

Shallow_Chell: I never thought I would see a white woman use a hot comb. There really is a first time for everything. #WhoKnew ‍♀️ “This will not get your hair super straight, or sleek...” She’s never been to a black church on Easter Sunday.

Nellah Grace: Girl you’re making me laugh because it’s like you’ve just discovered something new but no idea everybody already knows (and by everybody I mean black folk) haha love it!

Justy Luchic: ITS A MIRACLE that her hair didn’t fall off in every pass

Jessica Schueth: ive never seen a white people use one of these! they have evolved over the years too. in beauty school we had some super old fashioned ones to learn with! i think the oils and products that are used on the hair are really what helps with this iron, and then the style lasts for days!

Shellie Fleming: Guuuurl! I’m surprised your hair didn’t burn off bc that’s typically used for more coarse hair. Luckily you have the electric comb and not the one that you put in stove. ❤️

Rachael Giglio: This is what my mom used every week on my sisters 4c hair when she had washday. I think they have been around for years in the back hair community. They didn't used to be electric, you used to have to heat it up on the stove. You can use the curved back of the comb to hit little baby hairs and to give the root some lift.

Lisa Ingram: I use mine for when I'm installing my wigs and it works well to flatten the parting area

Alecha Bezuidenhout: My hair went from super straight to super curly after my 1st pregnancy. It is 10 years and 2 boys later and my hair is still curly. I love it!

ToND1Ne: They’re meant for Afro hair. Use a little heat protection product first, & take smaller sections.

julia Franzese: the back of the comb is what truly straightens your hair, start at the base without burning your scalp and gently flow downwards...you can even give the hair a bend with the movement of your wrist at the bottom going up (flip) or down (curled under)

Tisa6: We used this WAY back in the day (only heated on stove) in cosmetology school for coarse (African American) hair to straighten.

emayaych: My mother used a hot comb on my hair as a child before and between straightening perms and she bought an electric one for me a few years back. I ended up giving it away when I realized I was never going to use it. Don’t get me wrong, there nothing wrong with putting a hot comb through your hair as long as you do so safely. I just realized it wasn’t for me. I love my hair just the way it is and I find that despite the upbringing that taught me my kinks and curls would not be acceptable, no one, nowadays of course, gets up-in-arms about what I do with my hair or dictates how it should look. Now, I can’t say there aren’t still places where that still happens but, it’s certainly less.

TrueFrancesca: I found you through your (super helpful!) 'does heat protectant really work?' videos 2 years ago. Have you gone back to using it? If not, how do you choose to protect it these days? Thanks for the great content!

Chantel G.: I know this is old but with my first, my hair went from thick and super curly to almost straight and very thin. It’s never regained the full thickness or curl, although it’s regained some of both. My hair was SO curly before her birth.

Keeping Up With Vee: It’s deff used for African American women with lace and extensions or even way curlier hair types honestly

Jade: I’ve got thick tight curls and I feel like this would be good to control and heat style and loosen the natural curl!

Lindsey Stein: I had no idea men used these for beards. Weird. I learned about these in cosmetology school. We’d use it for very textured hair because it had high heat. Well, this was also in ‘08, so straighteners weren’t as good as they are now haha

Sherry's Stories: Glad to see you reviewd this one. I'm gonna try it soon. I tried the Tymo and a hot beard straightener and they both worked good to smooth, but they didn't get my curly kinky roots like I need when my hair is due for a chemical touch up.And I agree that nothing will give it the same bend that a flatirons will.

Sephora Siby: She always cin3s up with the coolest stuff for her channel... Love her dedication...

Jamie Chapple: My hair changed after pregnancy also. Always had straight hair with the smallest wave. Then after pregnancy, I ended up with curls on the back of my head. It was really weird, because the sides and top were the same as always.

Belinda Douris: This was a first for me ... I’m a hairdresser and we use those on ethnic women Alonso your not seeing it right. You have to use the back bar and pass it over both sides over your Hair. And the best hot combos the old fashioned hot comb

Rochelle Robinson: I'm black and my female relatives use combs like this or the old fashioned ones that you heated up on the stove.

shmooi: This unlocked a childhood memory of getting my hair ironed with a clothing iron. The smell was awful mixed 2c/3a hair don't care what style you want.

Fiona Darragh: I wouldn't be a fan of this to strengthen the whole of your hair to be honest. But it is great to see that you are able to try products like this out and give us your views. Have you ever tried the GHD Glide? I would like your views if you have! Thank you .

Isha Flores: I always wanted to try this hot comb mostly for the little hairs that won’t stay down on top of my head

Hannabee15: Most African American women would just use this electric straightening comb for the edges of their hair. Around their faces and the back of their heads, nearest the neck. There are straightening combs that you:d beat on the burner of a stove or a professional stove for straighteners.

Sophie: This tool isn’t meant for your hair type, hence why you may not like it as much as your typical flat iron

The_Monster_: Yeah this is for course and very textured hair almost every kinky/coily haired girl I know has experienced the pain and fear of the hot comb this was before straighteners became more popular with poc. Lots of black owned or ran salons still use these for some clients.

J Lee: I would love to see all your product reviews on 3 curl and 4 coil type hair. It would be cool to see you promote channels with other hair types who test the same products!

Noura Amer: I saw this tool the first time in my friend room & She told me she use it to straight her edges I tried to straight my hair with it ( i have black wavy hair 2A ) and I didn’t like it But it works wonderful at her hair ( she have 4B hair) So I guess this tool is for specific hair types .

jae: I feel the only ones that really work are the stove hot combs. My mother used to have my curly hair straight and sleek. But you have to be extra careful with them.

Angel Bando: “I feel like this would be extra great for people with coarse hair or hair that needs extra” help she was almost she almost had it

Dani Brown: The hot comb is actually a waste of heat on coily hair (unless it's a stove comb... those are the best if U kno what youre doing)but I would recommend using flat Iron first then use the comb for touchups

M Kelly: Grew up sitting in the kitchen while my mom put the hot comb on the stove stop. Straightening my hair for the holidays and pictures day

Sara Werner: I had completely flat straight hair, when I had my first child at 27 my hair started growing wavy, now 7 years later, just one side is still a little wavy.

OmgBsitka: I have used them for wigs in plays. Works wonders!

Carol Nicholson: You have to use the back of the comb to Straighten the hair

Kaya A: When my sister was pregnant with my nephew, her hair went from super thick, pin straight, never hold a curl, to curly and thin, which stayed around after. He is 13 now and her hair is curly and thin.

Jo Adkins: My hair changed texture after pregnancy too! Mine is much more curly now.

Kacie Ramirez: Yea definitely better for course, curly hair and usually it is followed up by a typical hair straightener!

Nyla Rose: Y'all gone tell her. Still love the channel though.

Edel Plasencia: This is hilarious I’ve never seen this used this way lmao

michey mikey: so you have to smooth the end opposite the teeth of the comb over the hair. It's a bit like chasing a comb with a flat iron. If you just run the teeth through, you're not doing much. And in my experience, before I learned how to use one, it's just gonna frizz

Megan Benslay: My hair got so much more wave in it after I had my daughter. Strange, my hair dresser noticed it.

K: Yeah, these are definitely made for curly and/or coarse hair. It's meant for super tiny thin strands, not big chunks of hair like we do with a straightener. That's why it didn't work very well for you, just fyi. It's gonna work best if you have like an up-do or a braid hairstyle and you use it to get those little face framing peices and flyaways.....that's gonna be your best bet. *LOVE YOUUUUU milana!!!!*

Rachel Brigante: I remember years and years ago my friend wanted to do my hair forgetting she can’t do it extremely hot and she burned my hair off lol.

Alejandra Ponce: we have this at my beauty school for more super curly, coiled hair

windiortiz: You need to use the round part of the comb. It’s made for course hair

Clarrissa Lindsey: Girl....this is a HOT COMB. This whole thing is just..... No.

Kristin K: My hair has always had I tiny bit of wave in it. I’ve always wanted curly hair. I’m in menopause (at 44). I am not a fan. However... my hair curls now. Right out of the shower! Hormones. ‍♀️

Stephanie Oni: It would've straighten better if you "pressed" the round part against your hair Wished you had a friend of chocolate persuasion that could've put you on game

Ericah Smith: My mom had stick straight hair and towards the end of her first pregnancy her hair started getting wavy and after she had me it went more curly we both had wavy hair growing up then my sisters turned curly after she had her baby idk what causes it though

Pixie Eames: These are normally used to lengthen curly hair after shrinkage

ParchCraftAustralia: That's exactly what my hair did after I had my son....its like a 2B curl level now when it wasn't for the prior 24 yrs ....many years later it never went back to my original texture! Weird .

finding my inner self: I use one cuz even though I'm white my hair is so thick and unruly. It feels like kinky hair without the curls. Just pure chaos!

xxTDRxx: I love your lipstick on you here! Just wanted to say that. And the Tymo Ring is awesome!

Hannah Rush: Hot combs work better for hitting those edges for people with course or very curly hair. The old school version works better, but you really gotta know what you’re doing! My daughters have a 4c and this tool is key to success as part of a complete style routine. This tool will not be helpful for you because your hair is essentially already straight, and at that point you just want to press it with the flat iron. Also, product like serum and oil make a major difference in combination with this step using the hot comb, which would be tricky on your hair to not make it too heavy. I was checking out this video because I was thinking about trying it on my roots, that have cowlicks and grow in every possible direction. The flat iron just cant get that close to my scalp. I’m just gonna try it and see! Thanks for sharing!

Cathleen Cavanaugh: Deeper Than Hair TV on YouTube will show use of the hot comb. ❤️

DZNUTZ YABUDDAY: Put coconut oil in your hair to stop frizz. You should never straighten your hair while it’s dry.

Tinti: Try scrunching some gel in your damp hair, that might defrizz and define your waves some.

Vicky M: I've always used flat irons n its never gotten my hair right finally bought one of these cuz my hair is a jungle n the flat irons struggle so bad lol

Vickie Engle: You need a pre-spray. Lightly dampen with smoothing spay before applying any device accept a flat iron. Professional advice!

M G: Someone gifted me this hot comb, I had never seen one. Thanks to the commnets now I understand it´s meant for curly hair. I have fine stright hair LOL, so not sure why I was gifted this.

Therese Thalseth Kvande: Probably pregnancy. I went from almost straight hair to back to curly after I gave birth. I was curly when I was little.

Jenny Rose: Oh we tried real hot combs in beauty school( 2002) but I've never used it on a real person. Just mannequin head. I really like the brushes like Tymo better.

LMmccallL57: "You can see a huge difference". If you could find video footage of black women with curls and coils, and them having the type of straightening comb that isn't electric used on their hair, you'd really see a huge difference. For many, many years, black women used and still use straightening combs that weren't electric and had no temperature control. You'd put it on your stove, directly into a low flame, put grease on your hair; something like "Royal Crown", and use the comb to melt the grease as your combed through the hair. That's what makes the hair extremely straight and full of shine or sheen. Using the back part of the comb added heat that helped to smooth the hair. There are curling irons that were used in the same way....right into the flame. Those make gorgeous curls. It takes skill to use those tools, and thankfully my mom had them. I tried an electric comb once. Didn't do much of anything to my hair in comparison to the "old school" type or even flat irons. My hairstylist still uses the 'old school" tools because some of her clients don't trust the flat irons. She used them on me once and I was reminded of when my mom used to style my hair. I miss my mom!

Shantell Hall: PLEASE try a modified curly hair routine for a month (for wavy hair). You may be shocked by the texture/wave you have. You could achieve the beachy waves you want without using a curling wand/flat iron. Lots of overwhelming info out there. This is one video of many, but even just sleeping on a silk/satin/shiny pillowcase, applying stylers a certain way and using a tshirt or microfiber to scrunch and diffusing a certain way (Manes by Mell) can make such a difference! https://youtu.be/b67bJAV2nd4

K Marie: Hot combs have been around for decades and I’ve only ever seen them used in African American hair tutorials. This looks like it would damage her hair over time. Look how many passes it takes for one section!

Babebubby: Thanks for the video! My hair does look better.

Linna TEEGEE: The smooth metal part you have to press it on the hair to straighten it. Not just comb it through.

A_Moth: This was used on me as a kid... You can imagine how that went.

It’s MiMi: Nooooooo!!!!!! These combs are so damaging. I had someone use a hot comb/press and it damaged my hair so badly. My natural hair is like a 3a curl/ wavy. This tool isn’t meant for your hair texture

ja bond: I wonder if you combed from underneath instead of how you did on top of each section. Since you're holding the hair firmly it will ever so slightly bend around the edge of the comb. Whereas if you did if from underneath the curve would be towards you instead of away. Not a good product either way for my already baby fine straight hair! lol

Zoe: Is it safe to use a hot comb on wavy hair??

Julie Mann: Hi I'm so happy to see a white woman showing this! I'm planning to use it on my new wig. Thank you.

B G98: I used to have straight hair and now that I've gotten older I have completely curly hair.

Robert Thomas: Never seen guys do their beard with it but I had seen females do their edges with it for yearssssssss

Cheryl Wiens: Iv not seen this tool used on any hair but a black male or female. Its used at the root only to wrangle in the stray curly peices just before the rest of the hair is flat ironed.

Cheryl Morrill: I love the Tymo it makes my hair so sleek...

Emily Adams: That is what I see when I curl my hair

Maurissa Jordan: Use the back of the comb …. the comb just helps separate the hair.

TheBlessedLife: I’m not gonna leave a negative comment because everybody else already has. But it’s called a hot comb. That’s all not a “hot hair comb”. Also please be careful this, it is made for coarse 3-4 C hair, you’re gonna burn off all of your hair if you continue to use it

Crowned Lily: With the little bit of wave that forming in your hair you should try the curly girl method for a month!

Tia May: I know it’s not your hair type, but it would be nice if you could have comparison products like what would be best for different hair types, what makeup’s would be good for darker skin tones, your channel just my opinion x

Perla Rodriguez: This girl is brave y’all she should thank god that she still have hair. Of you don’t have curly or kinky don’t use it please.

Barb Keeley: What am I doing wrong when I curl my hair no matter what tool imuse my hair gets frizzy?

C Foster: Here's a proper tutorial: https://youtu.be/1IAMP_kjMmA It can absolutely be used on all hair types just watch the heat setting.

Ivy b: And the reason why your hair is more wavy before and after pregnancy it's because your hair is more fine so it's not weighed down also happens with weight loss

JiJi: When you are using a hot comb ,you need to use thick paper towels or some type of hair cloth to press against your hair while pressing it or it won’t work as well. When you use a flat iron, your hair is pressed against two surfaces or two sides of hot iron so it gives more heat support.it’s hard to explain.lol Also when using a hot comb be very careful with the heat temperature, it’s easy to burn your hair off with a hot comb vs using flat irons.

Erin C: You need to get the GHD Rise and review for us

Whitney: @milabu you do realize this started off in multicultural kitchens right? Black women have been using hot combs in their hair since the days of Madame CJ Walker. It’s nothing new. Please review the history of the hot comb.

Tiffany Lucas: I was really surprised when I saw you using this product. I’ve followed you for over a year and usually love your reviews and little Em is so cute! But your hair is getting frizzing because this product is ment for courser hair. I don’t think it’s an honest review the way you did it because African Americans have been using this for years and most remember having to heat it up on the stove. I think reviewing this product and not mentioning that is a dis service to your African American viewers. I kinda felt alittle emotional watching you review this product and not even saying anything about that. Honest opinion not hate. ❤️ I really think you should address this after reading threw the comments. Your review is very unfair to the African American followers I believe.

janice perla: Hot comb was usually used on black peoples hair. I learn to do black peoples hair when I worked with a black girl at my first salon back in the late 1970's

Utayla Robinson: Girl you could’ve researched it first . You gotta apply heat protection and use it with smaller sections. It would’ve looked a lot better . Try it again .

mia Martha Reyes: Turn the head more up it worked on me n on burned hair to leaves it smooth I love it

Darcey Sharpe: 5:24 maybe because it's not meant to dead straighten your hair

Dezarae I: "The comb cut outs" love you! Teeth are what they are called.

MissMal25: It’s just called a “hot comb” not “hot hair comb”

milan thapa: I just ordered yesterday!!
