Don't Forget To Live Your Extra Life.

Hi beautiful i've seen people try a million different techniques when highlighting their hair at home. You guys are so damn creative, but often your creations go completely wrong. Highlighting is one of the hardest things to do yourself, because it takes a lot of skill and a lot of practice to get it right. So, let's see how much people fail today when trying to highlight their hair at home up first, we have a video by she's. The life and she's going in with the cap highlight today and cap highlights. Give me anxiety. Definitely a lot of things in life. Give me anxiety pretty much everything, but cap highlights they are up in that top five spot. I'M gon na do something that i've never done before dyeing my hair at home. I know you, you use wave tech, wave foam. I'Ve been doing a lighter and lighter like every three months for the past couple of years. Until i totally fried my hair to level 10., okay, the hair right now, it's just not giving. I think you would look better with darker hair. I don't know if the blonde is just the vibe for you. It'S also just not the right blonde. Is she going darker or lighter i'm confused? Oh, it says in the title blonde brunette, so she's going darker with a cap, so that sounds very interesting, so she's giving herself low lights. This is taking a little bit of a turn. All of a sudden i'm going to be using this um highlight cap. Oh, it hurts my eyes warn me before you show that thing on camera. Oh, my eyes are bleeding they're bleeding from the frosting cup, i'm gon na be using two colors today one is a dark ash blonde and one is light ash blonde. I don't exactly know what these colors are gon na look like. We have no idea what the colors are gon na look like that's great off to a good start girl. What'S going on here, put this thing on, i guess the first step would be to pull out strands of hair from these holes. The cap is backwards, but that's okay. I guess it's like you're gon na get even results, no matter what so, if you've never seen a cat palette before which i'm sure you've had the whole thing is just kind of a mess like you, don't know what you're really getting you don't know where the Hair is coming from and what direction, and you just end up with, like a lot of highlights here, a little bit of highlights there a little like it's just a lot all around um. I'Ve only seen this go well like a few times, but most of the time it's just a spotty splotchy mess. How do i get bigger strands out? I feel like. I want thick strands girl you're pulling one hair out at a time we're gon na speed. This up get the hair out hold up. Pluck it out girl. This frosting cap process takes so long. It is so tedious it is so like like. I don't want to do that. I really don't know what the color is supposed to look like, but i don't know. I thought it would be a lot darker, this okay, we are just going in with it laying it down. I thought we were gon na. Do like a root shadow. Like you know, let's flip our hair over put it underneath first and then work it through the rest. You know start on the bottom. You guys damn it. We got the don't start on the roots thing, but now it's don't start on the bottom start on the top. Where is the product? It looks dry put more product on there. Please gon na get that fully saturated. If you want that blonde to fully be colored at every color, what am i saying you want to do, but you'd be weak about it. Edie, that's what i meant to say: the lowlights are low lighting, that's for sure they're definitely doing something. This was green tea. Now it's water, it still tastes like green tea, though kind of sketchy, ari, okay, we're definitely getting something uh, honestly uh, it's kind of not bad so far, and i also really appreciated that little moment with taking off the frosting cap. It'S always so satisfying. I always love it. I believe she's now trying to go in on the blondes parts and like do something else with the low lights on her head at the same time, why don't you just keep the frosting cap on and then pull the color through the rest of the hair underneath, While the frosting cap was i'm just very confused well that wouldn't have worked either. This is why frosting caps are impossible and don't work. Well, i don't understand. What'S going on, i thought you were gon na highlight the rest not make it darker what whoa? Why is her hair all one color, and why is it like green? What you are confusing me? Where are we going with this you're using an ash brown on your blonde hair without filling it, it's going to become hollow, looking and green, which we'll kind of see? What'S going on here, we're kind of getting that right now, it's not great, it's not good, and it's not giving what it's supposed to have and now i think we're just getting rid of the low lights. I don't know what happened. I accidentally picked the wrong colors and this happened. No, no, no, no, no, wait! What happened! That was a major fail. You literally put the color on your entire head and expected it to somehow be low, lighter than the highlights where the low light's gon na be. If you were low letting the entire head i'm frustrated, unfortunately, the two blonde shades that i chose for my highlights and low lights were too similar that wasn't the problem girl. I hate to break it to you. The whole thing was wrong. If you want to use a frosting cap, you're gon na have to lighten the entire blonde part first rinse it out shampoo, then frost and cap then low light. Then rinse, then style. If you wanted to get an all-around blonde with low lights, that would have been the technique to go with this way. You just ended up getting an entirely darker blonde, but it's kind of green. I mean the darker blonde, does look better on you, listen and i'll! Take it, but it's not the optimal look for me. I'M sorry next time just do a rude shadow and a little bit of a toner on the ends like let's just keep it simple and do the least instead of doing the most, because we did the absolute most today and it just wasn't right up. Next, we have a video by latoya anne. We are going to be adding face, framing highlights to my hair and we're going to be making um blackness that's kind of around there a little bit brighter. Let'S do it latoya bring out those money pieces baby. We got on color balance, bright white powder, flattener 30 volume developer sounds like a good idea and also for our toner. We got um latin neutral beige blonde 9mb, okay, see now you're speaking my language, nine and b sounds like a good idea for you, because you're probably not gon na get to a 10 11. I is good for you. The n is neutral. The b is probably beige, probably a pretty color good idea instead of doing like t18 permanent color. Here is my hair right now i have a lot of new growth. Okay, we got a little bit of new growth going on. We got some existing highlights. We'Re gon na spruce that up we're gon na give ourselves some money pieces, as it says in the title of her video um. I think that's a good idea. I don't think she needs to do a whole lot to make. This look a whole lot of brand new. I am just sectioning off my hair and i want to show you what i have so far. Why is the top section like this? Like a tidal wave, i can't imagine somebody told you to section out, like a wave. Probably wanted you to go straight across right. What happened there section off the hair that is around your face like this listen i mean i'll, take it at least she's sectioning, right and she's doing three sections one right here, one right here! Weren'T there, that's totally fair! It'S a very normal way to section out some face framing. Do i do it differently? Yeah, do i have a video about it? Yeah you can check it out. If you want to the first thing, we're going to do is: go ahead and tease our hair. I already separated this in half. We want to make sure we tease it really well and we're going to blend it honestly. Thank god, she's teasing that way, like any errors, don't really show much teasing is a is a good way to give yourself a little buffer. A little something to make sure that you're you're, you don't get lines in your hair. I will say, though, that is a big section. That is a lot of hair next time. Let'S take half of that or like a third of that at a time you show doing it like this and then like this, and then they blend it into the blue, make sure you get it on the darker parts: okay, a lot more color on there and We got ta really get that too much hair. It'S gon na be splotchy. Also, let's make sure we put our hand underneath and paint on top. That way, we can put some pressure on the hair and really get that lightener in there for somebody who, maybe it's their first time doing foils on themselves. I'Ll give you some credit where credit is too. This is not easy to do and you're doing something, and i will take it luckily, she's already starting off with some highlights in her hair. So if she misses some spots, it's gon na be okay-ish. It'S not gon na be as visible as if she went from brown to blonde in foils and didn't get every single piece that would have been a little scary. We have moved on to the side of the hair. The section is getting a little wild. What'S going on there, the ends she's flipping them over painting on top. That is how we like to do it in the salon so you're, giving us something good here, and i like that she's not going all the way to her root. She is kind of smudging. The color up and and and let's not forget the fact that she's pulling all the hair forward is such a good idea, because when she lets it back down into place, she's gon na get diffusion and um softness within the highlights because she did the over direction. So if you paint something this way and you bring it back down this way, it's not gon na be in the same position, so you're gon na get different heights of highlights. So it's gon na be super super diffused. We made it to the last section. She'S finishing it off, i'm feeling like kind of good about this, i might get something like decent hair. My hair is done and it's got a process. So where's your face. Go. Can you breathe underneath there? Where are you? You can totally just fold them up? Okay, these are gon na have to come off first and rinse, because they were on first and they've been on a lot longer and my hair is really damaged in those sections. I really don't want to lose my hair all right, so i took out the foil. My bangs, because they were already pretty processed whoa color, actually looks kind of good we're still going to use the toner. I don't know if my hair is loud enough for the toner, but i know it's a blue base toner. So all right, so i just washed my hair with purple shampoo. Oh, what happened? What happened? What happened? It'S looking really spookitious here, oh god, now i'm gon na tone all the blonde sections please toner come through for us! Please - and i'm gon na keep a really close eye on this. That way, it doesn't get too dark all right. So here is the hair done. Oh, listen, it's giving something she definitely gave herself face framing. I just feel like it's not the right shade for you, but let's see what she has to say. I like a lip too heavy with the blonde on top. It'S definitely very drastically different than it was before. I'M gon na have to end up getting some medium brown and smudging it on my room. Yes, it's so blonde. What do you think i should do guys? Do you think i should get some medium brown and smudge it or i don't know what i should do. Okay, yeah, i mean i would definitely recommend getting some a little bit of brown in there and smudging it and just blending everything there's still a lot of harsh lines. I think you need to tone it to be a little bit more cool toned. You have a lot of pink in your skin and your hair is very yellowy and orange and red, and it's just not most optimal color for you. But if that's what you like, then do you always do you? It is very bright. It is a lot next time, let's just pull this all together and make it even better up. Next we have a video by linda, though i'm going to be bleaching, my hair, using 30 volume developer. You are going to need that if you're not doing foils like girl, your hair is black. I never really showed you guys how to do it, but i was watching brad mondo's video. If you do anything to your hair, you should watch a ton of videos first, before doing it well welcome to the video now you are in the video now you are the example in the video this hair inception going on so right here, there's a flat end Piece and he said that you should do it at an angle and then just to pull it out straight. Did i say that, because that's totally true, oh my god, sometimes i know what i'm talking about. You know. I have pretty thin pieces right here, god. Those are thin, let's pull more out because otherwise you're gon na end up with the smallest little baby lights in the entire world, and it's not going to do anything. Now i'm going to be using this kaleidoscope: blue clairol bleach packet that i have and i'm going to be using 1 16 um olaplex into this. Look at her whipping out the olaplex, the actual professional one where'd you get that so i'm only gon na use! Half of this, and it's a one and two ratio, so it's one part bleach to two parts: developer, look at her following directions. Listening taking note, okay, i can appreciate that. However, you're gon na get two highlights on that head with the way you pulled those things out. Where are the highlights in the top? Why are they all on the side and none on the top? Where is the thing with the pimple? I mainly use my fingers to apply the bleach and then i am using the brush to lightly top the roots, and i don't want to push that bleach back into the holes, because i could bleed out into the other hairs correct. You don't want to push down, or else you will get bleeding spots, it's a bad look. I promise. Why are her ends hanging out of that foil, you're trying to get dark ends? What is that i think the bleach? I think i diluted it a little bit too much, so this is how it came out. So it's this light brown shade yeah. What happened there? Why is it not blonde? I want blonde. I want to know for the second bleach. I did the exact same thing as the first time and then i started from my back to the left and the rest of my hair, and then i used foils and i left them in for an hour we're going in for round two. I'M glad she didn't take the cap off and then try to like pull it through the holes again, because, obviously that wouldn't work but like i've, seen people do that before. So don't do that if you want to go for round two wash and shampoo with the cap still on then apply more lightener, but don't take the cap off. It still looks way too dark very orange, and it's probably because you're not applying enough lightener. You need to lay it on there thick and then you'll get some lightning going on, but also your hair is so dark. I don't want you to have too light of highlights, probably like a caramel brown would look best to blend like having really white highlights. On top of your really dark, hair is just going to look very dated. I don't know what we're going for. I don't think we're going for that. Look, i'm gon na bleach it for the third time we're going in again so halfway through of applying the bleach. I actually realized. I used a 10 volume developer instead of 30.. I did leave the 10 volume developer in my hair for one hour. So then i had to do a fourth bleach session with 30 volume developer, and i did that off camera. We used 10 volume. Why are we using 10 volume? I mean i get the idea, but that is not enough developer and then she went in for a fourth time with 30. jesus. Just do it once with foils and 30 volume and enough lightener, and you would have been done. It'S a level like eight, so i'm just going to go ahead and rinse this and then put on toner. I use the wella t18 toner, your hair's not light enough for that. It was actually expired, and so it was literally changing my hair to be more orange and brassy, and so after five minutes, i actually rinsed it out. I'M having a lot of problems hold on what i don't think. If it's expired, it's gon na turn your hair orange. That seems completely. I don't know why that would happen. Um yeah, i don't know, i'm confused. I decided to go ahead and just use like a dye over it, so i'm just gon na go ahead and use the ion smokey amethyst right on top - and this is just kind of like this pale violet shade that violet is gon na, be enough to kick Out that yellow it's probably a good idea, so i just applied the dye with my hands because there's no chemicals in here, it's not gon na - be damaging. There'S chemicals in dye. There is it's actually all chemicals right away. You can already see the magic the dye works on. The right side is when i first applied it left side is when i just like finished it, and so it looks so much better already. I'M finally gon na take this off it's gon na, be so nice. Oh, my favorite part. What is that? Oh, my god, this looks so crazy, and so this is how it turned out. I don't know whether, if i like it or not, i think i did achieve what i wanted to. I wish i didn't start so high because it's so thin too. They kind of look like gray hairs, and my mom said that i look like an old lady. Oh no, wait! What it honestly looks very realistic, they're so thin that it literally looks like you have little gray strands, that's kind of kind of cool, it's kind of a vibe. Is that the new trend? Are we gon na make that a trend you're ahead of the trend girl? But yeah wow, you really didn't put enough highlights in there also next time, if you're gon na do the frosting cap pull out a lot more hair and then also tease the hair and only don't color up to your root. That way, you get more of like a balayage look instead of like highlights starting from your root. It is just something kind of like cool and funky. I think once it grows out, it's gon na look a lot better for sure it does look really pretty it's just giving not a lot, i'm kind of bummed. I want more for you next time. Just i don't know i mean. First of all, you should probably go to salon, but if you don't want to go to this lineup, i understand yeah just do what i've recommended before it'll be better and don't use t18 use like a level eight toner like an ash level. Eight. We don't want too much contrast between you're, really dark and really light good luck. Well, those were three complete fails. If you guys want to check out my hair care or my hair color line, you can do this with the link right down below or go to. Xmodelhair.Com, that is all for today, guys. Thank you so much for watching, don't forget to live your extra life and i'll see you next time. Bye!

Kristen May: Did you know if you say, "I'm gonna dye my hair using a cap" in the mirror 3 times Brad will show up screaming "Noooooooooooooo!"

Maddie Stephens: I’m loving this 90’s almost grunge/almost boy band hybrid kinda hair Brad’s rocking right now. Like, I’m normally focused on his pretty blue eyes but his hair is a thing right now and I’m loving it. Always entertaining, still the nicest beauty guru on YouTube ❤️ P.S. My parents wouldn’t let me get foil highlights as a 13 year old so a cap style sun glitz was my first professional color service - it was awesome. Everyone else in school who had a sun glitz looked nothing like mine but that caps not touching my head again.

Lauren Jones: Brad: "A lot of things in life give me anxiety.. Pretty much everything." Me: literally watching his videos to help calm my anxiety. Thank you Brad! For all of your hard work to create a safe and fun space on the internet.

oOArtistgirlOo: Okay can we just take a moment to appreciate Brad's look? Like, that hair is doing EVERYTHING to bring out those eyes!

Sheryl McCormick: Brad, your hair looks soooo good today! That parting and style really suits you.

Crystal Kissoon: I feel like the more Brad watches these videos the lower his standards for us gets lol. Wonky sectioning? He'll take it. Weird in-between colors? It's doing something, he'll take it. Doing something with foils? He'll take it.

Marie Kate: This is why I get my hair highlighted professionally lol

Morgan Scott: I’m dying “the professional stuff……where’d you get that?” With the facial expression, the tone, the attitude. Oh man. I watched that three times.

BigGirl OnATreadmill: I had a match teacher who had gorgeous graying hair. She once went to a salon asking to cover her grays. The stylist refused. Saying that she gets women (specifically aging ones) who come in asking for their hair to look as good as hers does naturally. She instead gave her a cut and style that made her hair look even better. I love the way the last girls actually turned out. I hope that kind of become a style.

Kaya Winchell: My mom had me freehand highlights on her to "blend in with the grey" highlights she had coming in..... God I thought I was gonna cry, but I listened to brad and did lots of sections and measuring and didn't lighten the roots until the last few minutes and it actually came out great. This video makes me feel so much better lol

Nicole Dawn: I love when brad has fun, vibrant, crazy hair dos don’t get me wrong. But his hair looks so healthy and beautiful and soft in this video I love that for him

Arianna Mailyn: Brad you convinced me to go to the cosmetology school, I’m a professional makeup artist and I love everything about beauty Tomorrow my first day in the school! Thank you! ❤️

Emily Jane: Its been years, and I still can't stop watching Brad react to hair.

Perry Skye Phoenix: The last time I tried highlights at home, I ended up putting a boxed dye over it the next day. Your hair is beautiful Brad!

Imena Kerpica: Brad, this hairstyle and the colour of your top suit you so well ! It's everything!

Melissa A: My mom used to do the cap highlights on me in high-school and I loved it. I'm actually so impressed with the patience my mom had to do that for me

Harry Merkin: When I was a kid my mom used a frosting cap to highlight my hair (she's a hairdresser tho) and it always turned out good. Just some prof that frosting caps can work if you know what you're doing.

Emma Rold: Every time Brad gets excited b/c it looks like it's going well then the cut and reaction gets me

Meghan Rech: This is one of my favorite looks you’ve had Brad! I love when you look all fancy but you look so comfy and cozy and I LOVE your hair like this. My favorite you’ve had.

Vittoria Conn: I used to want highlights, and about thirty years ago, I got them...but the maintenance was crazy. Every time I went to the salon for a touchup she turned more and more hair blonde (I was a natural brunette). So even in the salon, it can go massively wrong. By the way, now I have easy-peasy highlights! I have turned my salt-n-pepper into brown hair with highlights in one step by using an ash blonde demi-permanent; colors the white blonde and ever-so-slightly lifts the dark brown.

Jean Knight: I used to use those highlighting caps to put exotic colors in my hair, before I started dying all of it, so I could have colors at random all over. It was great for that.

Agata Głowacka: your hair is AMAZING! the color, the highlights, the length, the styling!

Savannah Watts: Thank you for always calling me beautiful and making me feel smile Brad <33 You're so beautiful too! We love you Braddd!!!! I can always tell when you're having a good day, like how your mood is. Seeing a new post of yours makes me happy every single time! My favorite part of each video is hearing you say, "hey beautiful" Edit: wait, I'm in LOVE with your frickin shirt Brad!!!

Radioactive Girl Scout: Brad your hair looks so good!!! You look extra pretty in this video and I’m loving it!

Carla Barrick: LOVING the longer hair with ash blond moment for Brad today! And yes, 3 fails for sure, with all the products paid and time spent, just go to a salon next time!

Grace- CHECK MY PROFILE: Brad, your hair looks soooo good today! That parting and style really suits you.

Shannon Jull: Brad: Pretty much everything gives me anxiety. Me: Watches Brad specifically to curb my anxiety. Thank you Brad, for sharing your gifts with us ❤️

Amiyah Jade: I love this look Brad!!! I hope you’re living your best life ❤️❤️

Alexandria D: I really enjoyed having some Brad Mondo to watch this morning. Put a smile on my face! Also I'm totally down for grey highlights to be the next trend. I have got greys coming in and trying to think of them some kind of highlight because I am less than impressed to be this grey in my 20s

Candle Lynx: Brad you look so stunning today! I love how you did your hair and the color of your shirt looks really nice on you

Karra Hanley: When i did my apprenticeship we used tip caps only for highlights (that was a long time ago) Gotta say i love Brad's reaction to them ❤️

Ms Witch: Like that third girl, I have pinstripe “highlights” throughout my hair. Mine however are actual grey hairs caused by 2 kids, a puppy, and a cat. Not sure it was a cheaper option but is definitely a more “natural” one.

Grace- CHECK MY PROFILE: I don’t know why I’m watching it, not coloring my hair since ages. But it’s just every time I feel like I’m in a sad mood —> Brad makes my day thanks a lot for that

Serenity Ball: i love you you crack my ass up and i’m so happy to of found your hidden gem of videos brad ! you do great :)

Philodice: Brad looks SO good in this video. Pretty eyes, fantastic hair, glowing skin. I could hardly look at the people doing the highlights.

Gina B.S.: I don't usually comment, but I have to to say that I love tha hair Brad. This lenght and styling is just perfect

Holly Iris Drucker: Highlights used to be called frosting. I had it done in the 1980S . I know I am dating myself but, it was painful and it dated me. I was 15 and looked 50.

Jamie: The first highlights I ever had my mom did them with a cap, they looked great, but the process was painful and very tedious.

Shannon Grady: Brad is everything!! I love his personality, facial expressions and his straightforwardness one of a kind♥️and fine as hell...

K D: After watching your videos I've been doing my own hair *with* cap highlights for the last 2 years and honestly they're usually pretty good (I have naturally medium-dark blonde hair though I'm just lightening some then toning ‍♀️) I have my mom do all the pulling through the holes then I use a mirror and get the money pieces I want through as well. So thanks for all your education vids and the wins and fails. Even though I'm sure you're mortified that I used your vids to decide to do cap highlights

LL_Cat :D: Brad: “highlights is something that you can't always do at home as they require a lot of skill” Me: “guess my hair is staying the same..”

Alex Gatto: That last girl absolutely gave herself natural salt and pepper hair, lol! When I was helping my mom transition her decades of dark box dye to natural silver over the pandemic we did three rounds of cap highlights over several months to help blend the skunk stripe, it worked great! Definitely recommend if you can't commit to a drastic chop or multiple rounds or want to ease into the look.

Libby Beliveau: Cap highlights were all the rage when I was a teenager and I'm feeling worse and worse for requesting them back in the early 2000's . Those poor color experts and their stifled talents! Love you, Brad! At least I have you now to steeer me in the right direction!

Grace- CHECK MY PROFILE: The first highlights I ever had my mom did them with a cap, they looked great, but the process was painful and very tedious.

Shari: My husband does my highlights with a cap and they actually come out pretty good. The only part I don't like is that it doesn't get close enough to my roots and doesn't touch the underside of my hair like if I wear it up. He really wants to try foils but with how long that would take him, I'm afraid the hair he starts with would over process before he's anywhere near done.

Asmita: Brad seems sooo energetic and very dramatic in this video... I'm loving it! I guess people are finally getting out of the pandemic nightmare and becoming happier..

Katiedora: For a long time when I was growing up, my mom would frost her hair using a cap in the summer, so I thought that was the only way to do them. But she also had short, curly hair that she constantly died, so I always thought it looked good (at least for the 90's). My mom also always wanted me to do highlights, but fortunately I've always been too lazy to make that effort with my much longer hair, which has spared me a lot of bad decisions.

Grace Christensen: I highly recommend watching these videos while drinking. From the laughing and commentary due to be fully involved in this journey with Brad, best drunk ever lmao

Carli C.: My mom and I used one of those caps to highlight my hair when I was a freshman in high school.. I ended up with big orange CIRCLES in my hair. Made my mom call me out of school sick so I could go to a hairdresser and get it fixed. That was the last time I tried to color my hair at home

Kat Zing: omg every time I watch a show makes me want to explore with my own hair (but I did great color red because of fall coming and it turned magenta which is a great color. But still your videos are so addicting my other half is starting to complain lol

AmyyyDD: Love watching these videos but I can’t help being mesmerised by brads eyes everytime , their just so beautiful!

lena n.: I also have done cap-highlighting with my hair and it looks really good. I think the secret is to only pull out very little strans, like this it will look more natural :)

StephanieOliver: Growing up in the 90s and 00s, I had nothing but cap highlights done. PROFESSIONALLY! There were no other highlight colors besides yellow, it’s just what they had.

Victoria Nokes: I used the cap highlight once when I was a teenager. The effect was amazing! However, when I took the cap off, rinsed the product out and all that, my hair was a rat's nest. It was tangled up so bad, it took me forever to get it out. My hair never tangled before that, but afterwards it was a problem for years. I still have to use a leave-in conditioner to be able to comb through my hair and it's pretty soft, considering I dye my hair every few months. Even though I loved the effect, I've never gone near that cap again and I never will.

Grace- CHECK MY PROFILE: Every time Brad gets excited b/c it looks like it's going well then the cut and reaction gets me

Vika Mat: Love your videos! And my hair is now long enough to try to style my hair like you, you have such good hairstyles!

XxHalloweenGamerxX: I always really like all of brad’s hairstyles! Especially this one

tlh0121: I used to give myself foil highlights and would get great results — which is why I would do them myself, because I was a hard customer to please — but the process… It’s taxing!! The double mirror thing is a HARD concept to grasp. Especially when your hands are at the back of your head, which is when you need it!

WithMetta: The first girl was wearing the cap upside down! But the colour she ended up with was so much better than the way she started. I did cap highlights on my mousy hair for years and it was great. Every once in a while (every 5 years ish) I would have foils done professionally, but I did a better job on my own. It is possible. A lot depends on the colour of your hair to begin.

Sam O: I’ve done this twice and both times it’s turned out BEAUTIFUL. Tips: - use the small hook on the crochet hook, - Be very careful when pulling hair out to make sure it is all the way out doesn’t create a loop - Make your bleach mix thick so it doesn’t run down the hair into the cap holes causing a spotty mess - don’t apply bleach directly on the cap as the bleach can seep through the holes and create splotchy spots - keep the cap on when rinsing the bleach out and keep it on when you are applying your toner

Zoe Brown: My day was really stressful, but I immediately relaxed, and a smile came to my face when I began watching your video. Thanks for making my day a bit better, Brad. You are a beautiful person inside and out. P.S. I absolutely love the way you styled your hair!!

Indi Gal: You look amazing, Brad!!! Probably my favorite hairstyle and look of yours

Grace- CHECK MY PROFILE: I’m loving this 90’s almost grunge/almost boy band hybrid kinda hair Brad’s rocking right now.

Latoya Ann: OMG!!! I'm blushing/dying laughing. TYSM for sharing my video... I wrecked my hair after that and that's why I've been inactive on my channel... I've been too ashamed to show my face. I have about 4 months of new growth so far and am letting it continue to grow so I can get it professionally done.

S. Husky: Brad!! You look AMAZING!! Love the hair length and the knit youre wearing looks SO GOOD on you ❤️‍❤️‍

High Frequency: Brad your so sassy in this video i felt at least i love it! you had me smiling through the whole clip. Your adorable Brad i just love ya!

safiyyah S: Brad I want to thank you for starting your video with hi beautiful, it always makes me feel so loved. Love the vids. ♥️

GraceFully: In November of 2021 at the end of the month, my mom did highlights on my hair. I have light brown hair with natural highlights. My mom used boxed bleach dye and it worked. It was my first time getting my hair dye. I give my mom's hair work a 8/10.

Julia M: You are freakin HILARIOUS today brad!! everything you say has me cracking up

Emily C: Brad, thank you for being you!! You always male me smile and lol!!

Dasha LInda: OMG Brad! You just blew me away with your look! The hair! The outfit! So casual and absolutely godlike at the same time! I'm stunned! It's lit!

Gabriela Schimidt: I love me some high energy Brad <3 <3 Good to see you happy, healthy, beautiful!

Kai Stockman: My mom has done highlights on my hair for like 20 years and it always looks amazing except twice but she said she wouldn’t do a good job that time. We just put light brown on top and it fixed it. So the first person will look fine if they do something like that.

Lindsay Marie: Growing up my mom used those caps to dye her hair. I would sit with her for what felt like forever pulling strands of hair out through the holes. I didn't even realize they were still a thing lol

Iridian Navarro: Love that hair length on you! Totally killing it

Johnsonhm3: Love your hair like this, Brad! And that color looks great on you!

Jennifer wellman: Me, enjoying watching this video, while I’m coloring my hair using Brad Mondo purple. It’s literally life imitating art.

Hott Mess Fishin: I would love to see Brad go in and fix the girls hair that suffered the fails

Jody Mead: I had my son do this to me a few years ago. Thought I'd try something new. Never again! It hurt AND it was so stripey. ‍♀️

Caitlin Gibson: The look you’re giving is everything and I love it so much

H B: Tried the cap highlight, then just bleached all of my hair, since it looked awful and patchy. Never use box highlighting powder/developer. It will not lighten enough if you have dark hair.

FRANNiiEbOO: This is why I have virgin hair.....I'm too poor to get it done professionally, and not talented enough to do my own

Morgan Williams: How does brad look like a different person in every video?! So jealous of the versatility I look like the same basic person no matter what I do‍♀️

Marisa Munoz: Love these reactions I’m on a binge watching splurge atm love you

emi: I love how you have the confidence to act on camera in front of millions of people how I do to myself in my car

MariaVana: As someone naturally greying the last girl's hair really does look like mine haha. But I love it, I thought it was a beautiful result from a highlighting cap

Nicole M: I LOVE BRAD MONDOS REACT VIDEOS SO MUCH.. ESPECIALLY THE BLEACH FAILS

Ann B: First time on your channel Brad. You are so funny but at the same time this was very informative. I have to add you are very easy on the eyes, so so handsome and I love your hair ❤️.

Mitch D P 1: Well I dyed my hair today following you step by step and I love it. Perfect colour, coverage and soft and silky ❤️

Jenny Manker: Ok just have to say BRAD YOU LOOK AMAZING! Loving this whole look!

Grace- CHECK MY PROFILE: Brad: “highlights is something that you can't always do at home as they require a lot of skill” Me: “guess my hair is staying the same..”

Roomie's Cap: The first video was tough to watch, ngl On a side note, Brad your hair looks AMAZIIIIIIING, I'm obsessed

JJ TheJetPlane: Love when Brad compliments them on trying a new technique that might be hard on ur own like foils while still giving us the truth all need to improve! ❤️

emmy: I love how the last one looks, it's like she added those sparkly tie in strands

amanda McCaskey: Dang Brad mondo your looking gorgeous . You always say the sweetest things to us to make our day and your videos always make my day so thank you for that . Lyndsy Carson: Omg brad looks amazing! I love this hair style!!!! the shirt and color of the shirt is love it all!!!

Elle r: Wow the extra level of comedy magic from brad today had be cracking up multiple times ahhhh he is why I can watch people ruin their hair the exact same way over and over again but still have an amazing time. Thank you brad for making my day funnier I love you!

Ana 🔥 I WANT SЕХ 💋 F Uc_k me: I’m loving this 90’s almost grunge/almost boy band hybrid kinda hair Brad’s rocking right now.
