It's that time for back to school haircuts! It's definitely time for a change! We can't believe the before and after difference! These hair makeovers turned out great!
Hi beautiful crazy family. Today we are doing back-to-school haircuts if you've been watching our back-to-school season. You know that we are so far behind um. The kids have actually already started school and we're just now getting to haircuts, but it's been crazy around here. So, oh here comes rinley, so we um brinley is first to get her hair done. Today we have a a lady that does her name is miss day and she is amazing. He is the only she's, so good, so she's gon na be doing little braids. All over her hair, it's one of my favorite ways um last time, so we've had it one more time before, but it's one of my favorite ways that your hair is done. It'S so beautiful, so we're gon na get that done and then we're gon na. Do everyone else's hair - aubry, oh aubry she wants to. I don't even know aubry, wants a major change here today, like we're gon na. Let her do it! It'S her head, we're gon na. Let her do her hair. However, she wants we're gon na support her. I hope it's gon na look really beautiful and that she loves it. I hope that she'll love it so anyway, we're headed to the salon. You ready. Yes, let's go mindy's driving. Yes, thanks sweetie look at this garage, they look so it looks so it looks. It looks like a giant mess, but it's it's better than it was we're getting there forever right we're getting there. Cody was already planning on coming over tonight and he found out that we were doing like back-to-school haircuts and he has a friend that cuts hair. I guess he cuts his hair too, and cody's hair always looks so good, so he's bringing his friend over tonight he's gon na be cutting. I don't think he's doing the girl's hair. I think he's just doing some of the boy haircuts. I don't know, but i'm excited to see what they're going to look like, so we are going to divide and conquer. I think that's how that saying goes so, while the boys are getting their hair haircut in the other room, we're going to be in here doing the girls here and anaveah really wants to be first. Yes, i just want to get this done. Okay, okay! So we're going to start ready, i'm so scared, you're scared, yeah! No, don't be scared, good luck, so fun! I know you're cutting off a lot of hair and you're short yeah, i'm not going to relax no going back. I just want it. As short as i put possibly oh okay, so annabelle really likes to wear her hair in a ponytail. So why don't we like put it in a ponytail like this, like you, normally would we'll measure and then i'll bring it down to your shoulder. So if it's in your, if it's to your shoulder, you can still fit it in a ponytail yeah. So to my story, that's so what that's so much! It'S so scary! Kayson is gon na be first now. What are you wanting to do to your hair? Get the sides okay, so he wants to take off the sides and then we're cutting the top or leaving it leaving it. Okay, he wants to let his top grow, so we're just going to do the sides on on his yeah something about cason. Is he feels like getting his hair cut, really tickles him, and so you may have a hard time all the way through it he's going to laugh and he's going to do this the whole time, so he probably be the most hardest to cut. But it's not funny. Okay, we're just getting a haircut. Okay, no laughing just soaking it! I know i have to get it really wet. I want it to be very, very straight. That'S too much! Do you want to know how much this girl is cutting off? Oh, no, oh man, literally she's, taking it to her shoulder, so she is she's cutting off that much here. Wow she's gon na look so different. I know i know that my kids love when i cut their hair. So that's a good! That'S a good sign like they must feel like do a good job, but truthfully i have no idea what i'm doing. That'S not true. You have a little bit of an idea. I mean i have been doing this for a while on the kids, but, like i, i've never been to school for it. I know a lot of you probably who are cosmetologists or hairdressers out there going to watch me and go. Oh! No! Oh no! Don'T do that, but i really don't know what i'm doing, but it works out. If i mess up, which i have a few times, i really messed it up. Then we take him to the salon and have somebody professional fix it or i'll go over to crazy pieces house and have my sister crystal fix it she's, really good with hair she's, giving you a lot of lessons too. I i have got some lessons from from yeah and i watched youtube. So of course i know how to cut hair. I saw it on youtube. Ready! Oh, no, all right! Okay, are you ready? I have the scissors there's no going back! Oh my god! Okay, here we go hold still hold still, i'm gon na go a little bit longer. So if i have to straighten it up, i have room but okay here we go ready, so we're going from this, or from this to this it's going to be so healthy. It'S going to look so good. Can you feel it? No, you need to go. You need to go. That is short. That is, i don't want to go shorter than that. I think no, it's not going to fit your ponytail. It'S going to be the littlest ponytail back there straight up. Okay, we're going to go a little shorter. It'S her head! Oh no! Okay! Oh no, are you sure yeah, i'm sure just do it? Okay, that's better! That'S another inch or two! I don't even know! Oh, my gosh, i don't know it's gon na be so healthy, though i know it's gon na look so good. Okay, that's what we're doing it's finished. She has not seen it yet. I'M ready! I just want to see it so bad, really cute on her. It'S really good and it's going to be a lot easier to take care of yeah mom. Okay, let me take this off hold on okay, you ready yeah. Let'S go this way that is so much hell! Okay, you can't see okay, one two, three she's, not dramatic or anything. What do you think? No, that looks so much different. Do you like it? I love it. I know feel what it feels like all the way around. Do you want to show everybody? Yes, oh look who's back here. Look at this hair turn around. Let'S see the back! Oh i like it. You guys look so different. Do you like her hair yeah? It looks really good shorter, still, no yeah. She just went short. That'S as short as we're gon na go, though it looks good, though, did you get yours not yet trey, and then you okay, what do you think of their hair? What what do you think of their hair? I like it, you got it so short. Hey. Are you next? You look like you could use a haircut. I just had a haircut, no horrible, though oh really, you didn't like it. I think that it looks good. It looks good now it grew out a little bit, but it's really long right here. Yeah. Let'S surprise your mom and go really short; no! No! No! No! I don't! Like short hair, i always like long hair, okay, okay, okay, let's push! Okay, let's go! Show everyone: okay, she's, ready to show her haircut ready, she's ready. I decided to just throw together a quick dinner, so i'm just making a quick spaghetti sauce. So thank you for doing that. Yeah. Thank you. I want to see your oh okay. Annabella come on down the corner. I love it. I love it. It'S so cute. It looks so short, well yeah, that's what you have it's not too bad, it's not too bad. We left him. She should get it in a ponytail, it's not too bad yeah! It'S not glad! We don't like it and now it's down. No, that looks really good. It looks good, i love it. I love it nice, that's so short, so my turn you're turning it. Yes by your side. Oh look at mindy in here. Thank you. Thank you. I know look at all the hair right here. I know that was annabelle's hair. Okay, wait: are you getting your hair done like? Are you? I don't know, i'm scared too, but i want to do it. I just want layers, i know i'm the hair. I think that you should have at least like like that, like that you need to just because you just got just to trim it up a little bit just um how about this much see. This is why i don't get haircuts, because i always i always get shorter than what you really want. I don't need to have the ends come off just to keep it healthy. I know i should probably do that, but just a little bit just a little bit. Okay, let's do you just do yours? Okay, here we go. This is going to be major change girl. I think we need to talk about this. Talk about what what is there to talk about. So there is a lot to talk. No there's not there's a lot. No, no okay, so mindy picked up your hair dye wait and i did not approve the color. Why? No? No! No! No! I did it and then i saw it and i was like really is this really what you want wait. I don't remember what i picked well, it's in here you picked this one. That'S your color. Is that the right one? It'S not okay! I do not want blonde hair, i would be. I would cry if i saw like if you guys were doing my hair and then i looked in the mirror and i had blonde hair. I would cry why? Okay, okay, i do not think that i look good in like blonde hair like the little strips of blondes in my hair. I do not like them. You do have like a little bit of blonde and then like see, her tips are kind of blend yeah. So i'm gon na, like cut, i think it's so cute. I'M gon na cut like this much off whoa and then i'm gon na dye. It okay, let's see the color, so wait. Was it this one? I don't. Okay, the problem was, i'm pretty sure it's this one. Let me see uh. I think it's that one wait. Yeah look they're the same. Oh yeah. She picked up two because your hair is long and she didn't know if one would be enough. Are you sure? Okay? I did not want to go like to a salon or whatever i wanted to stay home, and i trust my mom, so i wanted her to do it. I don't know, i think you have too much trust girl. What no i don't so okay! This is the color, it is like um, it's like black, a natural black, i think, is what it's called. Let'S see, oh that's going to be a big difference. Are you sure i love your hair? The way it is i like brown. I love love brown. Then why don't we go something with more brown, because last time it like came out in like two weeks so you're hoping by going darker it'll stay in longer. Okay, i don't know if that's how it works, but we're gon na try it out we're gon na. Try it how's benny doing do you know brinley's still getting her hair done still. I know it takes hours. Oh my gosh. It takes hours. I can't wait. I am excited to see this i know. Did you know that kylie had she wanted? She had really really really blonde hair. Just her natural hair is blonde, and then she decided to have she wanted to go black hair so from blonde to black. She went from blonde to black yeah when she was in high school. That actually looks like good. I mean she's, so pretty and you're, so pretty you guys can hire me so gorgeous um and then um. Shortly after that i had put like a brown hair. Like a brown dye on my hair, it was jet black. It was it so you said brown. I know it was brown, but it just turned out black. I don't know, i think it's because i had blonde hair and it just like went oh my oh, my gosh just sucked it all in or something so anyway. So i am excited to see. Let'S just see um what you are picking for your hair. This is the vibe guys, that's the vibe. Here'S! What we're gon na do we're gon na start a little long and then you're gon na say if it's short or shorter, because once i cut it off, we can't go longer longer scissors. No give me those wait. I she literally wants a whole bunch cut off and then she wants to dye it black, just shave it off. No cody. Can i take your hair? Okay, okay, it is now four four o'clock i don't know. I think it's around four o'clock, bryn lee is still at her hair appointment. She went away. She went there at one, so it's been three hours. It'S almost five. Oh it's almost five o'clock. It'S 4 40.. It'S 4 40. she's been there a while. I can't wait to see what she's gon na look like. I know i'm kidding, i'm kidding, i'm kidding wait. How much are you cutting off i'm gon na? Do this much? Is that good? Yes, no going back! Now i have to stop. While she looks in the mirror see if i did it right so perfect, yes, yay see, i know what i'm doing. Okay, wait! It'S too late now come on back. I feel like there's nothing off. Wait, wait! Wait! She feels, like i didn't cut anything off. It'S really just that's much more more that much more yeah, okay, okay and she leaves again i yeah it's good. I wear black all the time i probably should not have today, because you're gon na see all the hair on me. Okay, is it good it's good? It'S the right: it's the right length, okay, so we're going. This is the length we're going from this to this, but straighter. Okay, let me get my chrome, not a brush. She'S finished. Okay, i'm gon na go! Look! I don't know yes, yes, no way. Yes, i thought i would die at first and then you know got it. You have to see that i need to see it first. Okay, let's do this back it up back it up all right, ready, yeah set. What do you think this is so short? I like it though i love it really. Do you want to just leave it? How it is, i don't know what do you think of it? I like change, so i don't look. You know what we cut, those dots. We cut all your blonde tips off, so you have no blonde left in your hair. It'S such a pretty brown. It'S so pretty. What do you think i'm gon na? Do it you're still gon na? Do i'm still gon na? Do it? Okay, all right! Okay, i'm scared you ready, because you like haircut, okay, all right, braxton you're up, i'm excited so i'm doing her hair black. So i want to wear gloves so my hands aren't so black, but why do they make gloves so small or maybe my hands are really big? I don't think they are well. You just wash your hands too. So it's like it's just like not going in right. You know if you're, if you look bad at least you're home you're home, you just have to go to school tomorrow. Well, you do well, i do but online school yeah we just did something that was probably not good. We probably shouldn't say this on camera. So i gave friendly my cell phone, so she would have something to do while she was sitting there and then we realized that i it only had like 50. So i'm sure by now it's been a few hours. She'S drained the battery and that's how she was supposed to call us for us to come pick her up oops. So we luckily, we called the salon and because the salon only had my phone number, which she had so there was no way to call us. So anyway, so we called down there and she has about 10-15 minutes left. So we remembered she's almost done so i'm going to put the die in your hair and then i'm going to run and pick her up and then come back. Wait anyway, can you go run and get a clip yeah? She needs a. We need for her hair at our other house in st john's. I have like a dish that you put it in and then it has a nice brush to do that there. I don't have that here. I probably should have went out and picked it up, but i didn't think about it. So it's okay! We really can't mess this up right, no right right! Well, i feel like i look like that. One bird off of up a bird that one big bird, the one that the bird that's getting hunted the entire time. Oh it smells yeah, it doesn't smell the best. So she was dyeing my hair right doing her normal thing and, as you can see, she has blonde hair, and so when she like does it like she doesn't care where it's at, because it's blonde it's blonde and i i wasn't thinking look now. I don't think. That'S going to come off, i think you're going to have a black forehead for a few days. Oh i'm sorry! I wasn't thinking so we are on our second one because yeah your hair, like really so imagine if i didn't cut my hair like okay, that would have been this is taking longer than i thought. Wait. Jared wait, wait we're trying to get a warm rag. Oh to see if you can get that off, yeah okay, so i am running a little bit behind. Can you go pick up rindling? Are you a gooder? Okay, it's not warm. It'S not warm. The water. Wasn'T warm yet sure. Let me do it. Let me do it just wait. Okay, go pick up, i'm gon na go, get really good. Okay, are you ready to see yours yeah? It looks so good. Let'S go look i like it. I love it he's doing such an amazing job. Oh, my god, cason's and trey's hair look amazing. I know his is just perfection literally perfection. What do you think? I love it? You love it do a turn. So we can see the whole thing. Spin turn love it. You look awesome high. Five. Oh look at my hands because look at my hands, maybe you should as well that isn't i don't we should have, went and got some because that's what i look like i washed and washed and washed and look what you did to my hand. I got most of it off my forehead yeah you do some of it just like is stuck yeah. It'S not too bad. You have about five more minutes and then we're ready to take yours out. Yep you're, almost i feel like dad like, was gone for he's. Still not bad he's still not bad. I don't even know what style she was getting. Do you? No, i don't i'm super. I'M super she's ready, she's, ready that is so cool. These beads are so cute. I almost fell asleep like seven times. Do you like it? Okay, so what's the plan it's time to take it out, you wan na just go, get a shower yeah, i'm just gon na go, get a shower downstairs and then come back up and hopefully mom i'm you're already here. Hopefully, dad and brinley will be back. Oh and then you can both surprise each other. It'S like a double surprise, because she doesn't know that i cut my hair or dyed it. She knew that i was gon na cut it, but not this much. Ah, okay, go get your shower, don't look in the mirror, you're so going to look she's going to cheat she's going to look you're sure you're going to look good love! You love you gretel is here. Oh my gosh, that is cool. That is amazing yeah! Oh, i love it. You look so cute dude. That'S such a good one yeah. She always does she's amazing, that's so cute. I love all these little springs and i know she was like. Do you want gold or silver like gold? It looks really cool yeah. It looks so good. Oh thank you, i'm so thirsty, okay, so aubry just went to get in the shower. She is so excited to show you her, hair and she's excited to see you guys. Oh my gosh, it's like a hair. It'S like a hair yeah. So you just have to wait a little bit. She just got in so give her a few minutes. Okay, okay, what did you do here? You look so different insane. I was getting destroyed. You'Re like i want to cut this one out. Isn'T it so cute? What do you think of brinley's hair? Look at the back turns like it's a maze. It does look like a maze that is so cool. I know look at the cute little beads at the end. You need a lot taken. Ass, no yeah lot, just the sides. That'S what he told you: no, he wants a lot off the top right. Can we do? Can we do this much off the top? Don'T walk in the hair, not anything! This much jacob is finished. It looks so good. Do you love it yay? It looks great yeah, definitely, okay, so um, i think we're all done. Are we? I think we made it yeah. So we have like um, mason and landon they. They did not want a haircut because they just got one and addison changed her mind. She doesn't want a haircut tonight so totally fine. So the only thing we have left is um aubry and brinley to see each other, and then we did it. Yay back to school haircuts are finished. Okay, are you girls, ready, uh-huh, ready, yeah? Ky Y: For the times Brinley is in between braids . Try claw clips or twistss. Try not to do ponytails as it breaks off your hair a lot especially if you’re not constantly moisturizing it . I’ve had this problem. She has gorgeous hair

Mello Cheesecake: When dying hair at home: Put Vaseline or aguaphor on any part of the skin that might get dyed! I’ve been doing mine for years and it wipes right off after! Hope that helps (forehead, ears, neck and side of cheeks are where I put it)

Kennedy Huff: Whenever you talked about the amount of time Brinley has been getting her hair done, it brought me back to childhood "wash days" (which was always Sundays) where my mom sat aside a few hours to do my hair every week. Doing coiled curly hair was always a process, but it doesn't sound like Brinley is tenderheaded which makes it easier.

h_! roach290: Tip: When dying your hair at home, the dyes at the store only stay in longer when after you finish, wait for a few days afterwards to wash your hair and when you do wash it, use luke warm water. :D Love you guys!!!

Trin Wagner: To avoid getting hair dye on your forehead... I recommend putting Vaseline on you forehead close to your hairline. Be sure to not get it on your hair! This will keep the dye from dyeing your skin. All the haircuts look awesome! Love the color choice Aubrey!
Daniela Landeros: just wanted to say i love that you do the girls hair!! and i’m in cosmetology school, im almost done! just some few tips for the future, when doing a haircut section their hair into 4 sections ( 2 sections in the back, and then 1 section at each ear) and always start from the middle. and then for haircolor, also section the hair into 4 sections. and when she washes her hair make sure she gets out all the color before going in with shampoo and conditioner. but other than that you did amazing!!

Debbi Kruzel: Professional tip, when doing Aubrey and Anaveah's hair next time comb the hair from the top straight down (like you are going to cut bangs) and you will see longer hair in the front, just cut the longer pieces even with the sides. I hope this helps you for next time. All the cuts came out so nice. I love Brindley's braids!

divahc1: When I was 14 I decided to lighten my hair as it had darkened as I got older. I went to a pharmacy on the way home and bought a box hair lightener. Mum and I nervously applied it together, and sat on my bed while we closely watched the time. (This was the first time doing it and it wasn't a common thing then). We shampooed and conditioned it, and dried it. And... nothing had happened! It hadn't changed colour at all! LOL!

Harlie's Ride French Bulldogs: Hairdresser since 1986. FYI color should be put on roots (about 2") for 10-15 minutes before being pulled thru to the ends. Also if you get color on your skin (forehead, ears, etc.), when you shampoo the color out use your hair to rub your skin while shampoo is still in and it acts like an exfoliant to remove the color. Everyone looks great!
