New Red Hair! My Latest Wash + Go Routine

Thank you, hi welcome back to my Channel or welcome. If you are new, my name is Abby and I have red hair. Now this probably comes as a shocker to a lot of my old subscribers, but if you're new or you came from Instagram or Tick Tock, then you probably know that I've had red hair for a while and today, I'm taking you through my wash and go process Ever since I dyed my hair red majority of the products that I'll use in today's video are going to be from African Pride, this moisture Miracle line has me in a choke hold for like two three years now. So the first product in this entire process is their curl milk detangler. I take a good amount of this product and I place it all over my hair and this is going to serve as that initial form of moisture for my hair. So this is the only time I'll be using this product, and then I follow up with their curling cream. This cream is just so good because it's heavy, but not so heavy to the point where it weighs down your hair, and I really love the way it smells and the amount of moisture that it adds into my hair. The entire line is really just moisture miracle. If, if I'm being honest like they have the perfect name for this line, because it does exactly what it claims to do after applying that cream, I just like to go in with my Denman brush and detangle the hair one more time, just to make sure we're All good and as you can see, I'm working in sections starting from the back and then I follow up with this curl defining gel now this is a new product for me when I initially purchased these products a couple years ago. I didn't know that they would come with a gel or that it came with the gel to begin with, and this is the actual product that has me in an absolute Chokehold, because when I'm telling you it's giving hold it's giving hydration it's giving No Flakes like This gel is absolutely amazing and if you've seen any of my previous videos, where I do a wash and go, you would know that this is a pretty standard routine. For me, my Denman brush is really the game changer. Here it's really the star of the show, because it allows me to really Define My Curls, especially in those areas of my hair, that give me a little bit more trouble than others or that have experienced a little bit more damage than the other areas. Because because it's obvious that my hair is colored now it was bleached before I did this red, so my hair has been through sun processing. So I know for a fact that there are some areas of my hair that do not curl the same as it used to, but pretty much. This is the routine. I just go Section by section with my Denman brush and really just go in there using this tension method, if you're interested in learning what I do exactly like my routine for the Denman brush, I do have a video on my channel, linked above and in the Description box for you to be able to view for my little hairs in the front. I just try to kind of finger coil, because these hairs in the front, since it is the hair that I manipulate the most they struggle to curl a little bit. Then I just scrunch everything up and I shake my hair, a little bit from side to side, make sure I'm getting those curls all clumped. Finally, I start diffusing my hair now me and the fusing have a love-hate relationship, because I can't stand the entire process of having my hair dry with this diffuser. But when I'm telling you my hair looks so good after I finish diffusing, it's incredible. I don't have any specific technique for my diffusing process. I really just diffuse my hair by moving the blow dryer in different sections of my head and making sure it's all dry and when my hair is about 90 drier. So I remove the diffuser attachment and I just blow dry all over, because I'm one of those girlies that prefers volume over definition, I just like big hair so day, one I'm aiming for really big hair. Then I follow up with my bomba curls forbidden oil. My OG subscribers know that I love the bomba curls forbidden oil. My main reason for using the oil after drying. My hair is to massage it into my scalp and then also to break the cast of that gel, so that my hair is a bit more fluffy and has more movement. Final step is to take that pick, and you want to pick your hair in the opposite direction of where it falls. If you're aiming for volume, if you don't want additional volume - and you rather just wait out the days, I would suggest to just leave your hair as is, and let that cast of the gel break on its own throughout the days. But again, I'm really that likes volume. So I'm not doing that. I'M just picking my hair really big! Then I'm using my hands to kind of just place, my curls in the areas that I want them and then boom.
