Here is what I think going to be one of the biggest hair trends for 2023, and yes, it involves having longer hair. Now you may have seen this before, or maybe it's something you want to grow your hair out into, but what's unique about. This is that it works really great on people who have naturally wavy hair or if you have straight hair, then you can create this texture. Just by having the right haircut and using the right products, but the key to this whole haircut and through here is that you may think that these sides here are a bit shorter, but actually they come all the way down to here, believe it or not. Let'S turn this a bit more, so you can see there's length all the way down here, but it's balanced into here, so it just kind of goes on an angle. So when you're getting this hair cut, it really depends on you. Obviously, how long you want to have your hair on the sides if you want a shorter version of that, then that's cool. But if you really want to have this slick back like this into the length, then you have to kind of leave some length to push back behind the ear, all right and also the very, very front, the very top up. As you can see, it comes down to about the bottom of the nose here. You need to have length throughout here also throughout the sides and then work it into the back now. What makes the the back unique is that there's a lot of layering into here? Okay, if you have all of this hair coming straight down all one length, it's going to be very, very heavy. It'S going to look like a one like bob haircut. You may not want something like that. You want to have some sort of texture and some sort of shape to it, and you know this haircut is going to help remove some of the the weight into the back here. So it's all layered all right and yes, it may flip up. It may stick out a little bit like this, but that's kind of the uh, the haircut you're you're, going to be getting the best way to style. This is you know, blow dry. It back use a lot of your hands. I would stay away from like a brush right. You don't really need a brush, but it's all going to be done by using, I would say, tidal, wave first when it's damp or Wet Spray, maybe four or five spritzes in and then what you can do and don't over spray tidal wave. Then what you can do is just take your hand with the blow dryer make sure you use the nozzle. This is the dryer I sell on my website: shop dot, the salonguy.com use code, YouTube 20 for 20 off and you can literally just blow dry this back and mold it and shape it and sculpt it. So it's going back this way, all right and you're going to get a lot more out of it uh than try and just blow it all over the place. And then, when you're done, you can use something like my new crafted uh matte Pomade, which is a really really incredible product for stuff. Like this, it gives it kind of a nice matte, finish you're able to work the product through the hair and you're also going to be able to kind of gel and slit this back with that matte Pomade. So once again, this is a haircut I think in hairstyle. That'S gon na be a big trend for 2023. Let me know if you have this. Let me know if you're growing your hair into this thanks for watching and I'll see you soon.

Bartek: ok now let's see paul allen's haircut

Joey G: I'd like to achieve this hairstyle in 2023. I've been letting my hair grow out for a few months now, but I am still far from that goal. Thanks to you, I was able to confidently go to a salon for the first time in decades (as opposed to a barber) to ask for this hairstyle. According to my new stylist, I have very thick wavy coarse hair, so while this hairstyle may be hard for me to achieve, I can have my own spin on it. Looking forward to seeing what I end up looking like by this summer! Thank you for sharing your haircare wisdom.

Kouta: i got a haircut like 47 days ago. The Barber thinned out my hair so much! its taking so long to grow what do i do? i feel like he doesn't know how to use thinning scissors.

KaGo: I’m growing my hair out to this exact style right now. It’s looking a lot like this manikin. For casual days, I use a homemade sea salt spray and then let air dry. For work or more formal occasions, I use my sea salt spray followed by blow dryer followed by an organic cream pomade.

Freddie Davis: This is what I’ve been going for, been growing my hair out since mid November but usually have a 1 guard on the sides so gunna take a while! Already got some length on the top, front goes down to eyebrows so that’s not too bad. Might have to get some hats for the awkward phase

Kino Grapher: Hi SalonGuy, do you know when the tiktokker kit will be back in stock? Thanks.

me: This is pretty much exactly what I want to grow as well. I literally found this channel a few hours ago and have been watching videos to try to find a longer hairstyle, and this is it :D

A Yaworski: you just made me feel so much better about my current hair, which is almost exactly this! now i have a reference when i go in for a maintenance trim, thanks so much for sharing

e31: I had that hairstyle while growing put my hair. You'll probably need a product with quite a bit more hold than you think. It's short enough to fly away and not keep Still but long enough to have the downsides of having long hair i.e. lots of preparation, time. That's transition length hair basically. If conquered though may look cool but it's more e of a look for whites only. Hispanics and other ethnic may look too unkempt with a length like this. I say this as a man of color.

: Hi Salonguy, great work. Could I ask if you’ve already done a tutorial for this specific hairstyle? In that case could you link it? Thanks!

Isaiah Symmonds: Quick question about this hair style Salon Guy, if I’m trying to grow out my hair to this hair cut. Should I get short little maintenance cuts before going to this haircut or just grow it out all at once? Thank you!

Saif Mahmud Ishtiak Shushaan: This is the length I'm trying to achieve. 4 months in (I started growing the hair after cutting it off super short) but still a few more months to go, in the awkward phase now lol

Cameron Williams: Started rockin this last year. It’s decent I like it. My hair has thinned out quite a bit. Would the longer hair style contribute to that?

light ghost: Imagine changing your hairstyle just because it's "trendy"

Daniel Gallo: Love it! Getting tired of fades and it’s maintenance. Looks great

Wajid Hussain: I have had this hair style since 2003 and it has been in style every 8 years

iva nka: I have exactly this hair and the same length, altough I don't have the texture, the back of my head keeps getting heavy and flat. I'd love to see a haircute and/or hairstyle tutorial for this one!

Ekt: Has anyone reached this hair length ? If yes, how long did it take ? Thanks :)

NOUR ALDEIN YOUSEF: Hi salon guy, I've been a fan for several weeks now, I want to ask if it's possible to achieve this hairstyle by just letting your hair grow out, or do I have to grow my hair and then tell my barber to give me this haircut, also I have a really stubborn hair so what can I do to make it more easy to style

Fizz: Bro this is the haircut I've been trying to get for the past year but didn't know how to do it, thanks man

KoldPhaze: Every man should attempt longer hair while they still can at least once in their life

Martin Meßing: Nice, I have let grown my hair the last two years, so I trended this hairstyle at the age of 56....

bastianse: I'd like to have that haircut

edgeworth: I’m assuming this look isn’t possible for someone with pin straight hair?

Faze daiper: I want to have it so bad but my parents make me go to the barber and let’s say it never ends well

Barry: is there any chance i can do this haircut with my curly hair ? im a new subscriber so i dont know if you have a product for curly and wavy hair

Freddie Davis: Would you say it’s better to go to a hairstylist than a barber to get this sort of haircut?

303 v: My top part is very long, I can do the pushback, but my sides and back are short…so to grow, it takes time.

Nikogeek: can you make a video how to do tyler's haircut in the wednesdays series please .

Nikogeek: can you make a video how to do tyler's haircut in the wednesdays series please

mohamad hairulnizam: My current hairstyle. Already Have the length. Will layered it abit.

Francis.Hearn: I'm growing out my undercut, but not that much;p hehe xo

XCaliber: You can always be thinner, look better.

Awiah: I mean why would anyone rock this over a two block or middle part lmao

Mr Midnight: Hear me out, Why does that doll look like every other person in LA ?

KING: anyone have good products for frizzy hair?

bxinger: going for this but get bored not cutting and end up giving myself a taper ...

Zombie Headshot: How do I tell my barber that I want this style?

Liam vankluyve: Amazing video man keep it up. I love you big daddy.

METAL: Already have this lmao

DARSH OFFICIAL: Nice video sir

Nick Name: You in NYC? I need a haircut :)

Stalker: What do you call this style though?

Me: I know exactly what I want to get, I just don't have the confidence because I absolutely hate how I look

Anter_: Thats exacly what i want to grow

Vladyslav Severov: what is the name of this hairstyle?

velza.uwutine: mannequin got the lightskin rizz

Chandler Chesley: Lol that’s what I have now

Vlad-Mihai Ioniță: Am i the only bald guy watching?
