What do I mean it's those times when things are going so wrong that before you know it what is happening to us? It gets inside of us and we reach a point where we feel like giving up I've been there where I didn't feel like. I could go another step. I was tired and drained and in so much paid and Kirk Franklin and smile puts it like this. I almost gave up for the power that I can't explain fell from heaven like a shower. I like that right there, it's the means when we feel like giving up God understands, then somehow power from Heaven gives us what we need to overcome the hell. We are catching on Earth, so please, whatever else you do don't give up. That'S when you look up and when you look up, I promise you, God will give you the strength to get back up. Don'T you give up, but now is the time to step up, because God will give you strength to step up and before you know it. What came against you is going to work out for you. Please don't give up but keep on hoping up because, as you hope up, you believe that somehow things are going to turn around things are going to get better and in the meantime, God will give you up peace that passeth all understanding of peace. That will blow your mind and the minds of others who are watching you go through what you go through so here it is whatever else you do learn to smile and, as you keep on smiling That Power from heaven will give you the strength you need. However, a new study suggests that a keto-like diet could trigger a spike in bad cholesterol, which can lead to a buildup of plaque in the arteries and a much greater risk of heart attacks, strokes and other cardiovascular events. The study is especially relevant for women because we tend to follow dietary patterns more than men. In other news, four U.S citizens were assaulted and kidnapped by gunmen in northeastern Mexico. She shared that her daughter hope had been hospitalized due to an undisclosed health issue. She said my youngest Hope was in ICU four and then in the hospital for a little over a week. She said: uh, that's what she told Savannah Guthrie. She said, I'm so grateful she's home. She is back home. I was waiting for that day to come and we are watching her closely. She also commented on how much she appreciated Hospital Taft staff during this difficult time. She said you know what I realized too Savannah. She said it's like when your child is ill. The amount of gratitude you have for people who helped you out, she said she said: I'm grateful for the doctors at will Cornell, who were amazing with the nurses as well. She said I'm grateful for my family and I'm grateful for friends like you who were there. Every single day, so I want to say thank you for that and I love you and Guthrie replied. I love you too, and she told you you have a lot of friends out there and we're right there with you lifting you up and holding you. So, let's do this, oh! For a getaway vehicle instead or anything that runs on gas right now, two idiots near Atlanta recently stole a bunch of stuff from a Sam's Club, uh, so much that they could barely fit it all in their car. So they walked off with several gaming systems and other random stuff, like electric toothbrushes, but cops were able to catch up with them about 10 miles down the road uh because they had to stop and recharge the Tesla that they took. Now. I don't know if y'all know about Teslas, but they can take up to 30 minutes or more to fully charge, so you have to plan ahead, which they apparently didn't so the stuff they stole was worth about. Eight thousand seven hundred dollars so they're now facing felony theft charges. They also had several guns and a few bags of big bags of weed, rather uh, so cops tacked on charges for possession of marijuana would intend to distribute and possession of a firearm while committing a crime. Now, how dumb is this? Maybe they didn't know? It was a Tesla, did you what y'all thinking so they stole the Tesla too? They stole the car. I think an electric toothbrushes and yeah is that your two versus gaming systems - yeah, that's crazy. Yeah I mean lately, I've been seeing a lot of videos. Where are people just breaking it? They'Re going into Walgreens and CVS, they can't uh. I saw a video um and they killed uh the makeup count. It took all the makeup and uh: they just walk in there with hoodies on and they just casually grab every single thing and packed in a bag casually walk out and they hit up. They hit up the Louis Vuitton stores. I saw that yeah man - they don't they do not care, they don't have absolutely no chill, none, no chill. They don't even cover their face up. No more. No, they don't care yeah. So that's that's a generation that you're dealing with people in title they feel like they don't have to work to get what they want. Give me what I want and uh. Let all these stores take care of their own stuff at their own security, stay out of the way or whatever. Well, that's coming to a lot of uh criticism over the past couple months. You know because there have been people have found in some of these rentals. You know secure hidden now you can have security cameras, but it's the hidden security cameras that you want to find. Well, there are these cool apps now that you can get and download on your phone and it will detect to see if there's a camera hidden like on the network, because you know, if there's one in the main area, but it's the ones that you're in your Privacy that you're worried about now another way to look for these cameras is, if you see like a hit, you know you always joke about those movies where you saw the hidden cameras and like the teddy bears and stuff like that. Well, if you see something you take a flashlight and you go put it in front of like wherever the dot is, and if you see a blue reflection, they said that that is it's a clear indicator that it could potentially be like a camera lens in there. Now some of these apps, you know, there's some great apps and they're free too now some of them, if you're traveling, all the time you might want to get ones where you pay like five dollars a month or but you can do the free ones as well. I tested it at home, I'm gon na post the screenshot, so you know the one that I used um, but you know they do the job. They tell you if there's one in there, how many they are. You know, and you can even check the IP address to it, and then you can contact whoever you rent it from you know just to protect the privacy of you and your family and your kids at home, while you're renting someone else's home um, something else Ricky. You might think this is very cool or for even all of my pet owners or if you have a family member who's, elderly at home and you're always worried about them ring camera. I'Ve got ring all over my house and they have a drone now you're. When you think about drones, you think about the ones that shoot the cameras, like you know, while you're on the boat or something like that right. This is one that will sit next to your phone, Ricky or even somewhere in your house. So it has like a little base station and when you need to log into your house, you go to your app the Drone pops up, you can have it go, look in the kitchen, you can go, have a look in the living room, you can have it Just but yes, it is a flying camera that goes around your it's the coolest thing I think I've ever seen and you control it from your phone. You control it from your phone, so it's just like it's got a little fan on these. Damn cheating ass women yeah. You can do that. You know what I didn't even think about that, but it's visible though they're gon na see it it is. But what if they're almost there someone you make this black one? They can make themselves invisible, so yeah. So I didn't even think about that, but yeah I mean you could definitely have it fly up the stairs and go to to the bedroom. Now it's in the invitation stage. So if you want to look it up, it's called The Ring, always home camera. So that way, you're not stuck in one area. Well, according to uh the American Psychological Association, the U.S is expecting trends of dramatic employee turnover in our nation's schools. Now, physical and verbal violence directed against not only Educators but janitors lunch. Ladies and bus drivers have been overwhelming School Personnel, causing them to leave the professional in droves uh, but but who's at fault. Some says the schools under say it's the mental health students uh. You know the mental health of the students being neglected uh. What about the parents? Is it their fault when kids attack teachers at school? Now? No, this is just me I'ma say it again and I said it 50 times in the past two years. You know different things like this, so I honestly think that you know at home uh. I almost said it would start with the parents, for the simple fact is, you know it's uh we're getting younger and we're not disciplined the way we used to me being a 51 year old man with eight-year-old twins. I mean I I raised my kids just like my mother raised me. You know what I'm saying with a tough love um. I think it's a collective. I think it's the parents, it's the administration, it's everybody has a collective. I think we need to work together. A lot of times, kids are going through things and we as administrators, don't realize it and we just assume it's bad behavior or they just don't care, and we don't realize it's internal, that they're going through things at home and they need help from us they're. Looking for a support system, they don't have it at home, they come to school, they don't get it. So we have to remember they're still children emotionally. They can't regulate their emotions. They'Re looking for us for guidance and as a child they're experiencing a lot of different things that we theater children they're going through drill what to do if an active shooter comes in, I mean that's terrifying. I just dropped my kids off at school and I pray every day that they never have to experience that, but it's a reality that it might happen. So we might have people that are dealing with anxiety because of that and don't know how to express it. We all we all. We also need to have a day to let the teachers come on, because the teachers can't say anything because they're getting tired of getting cussed out by the parents coming up to the school, with some pajamas and abundant on, because little Ray Ray ain't. Acting right and that's that's real talk, I hear it all the time we need to let teachers call in and talk about their experience, because I just don't understand how you complain. So listen there was there is this building of what is called cop city um in Atlanta, and this is a new training facility for the police that some of you may have seen um a great deal of violence and protest at what what's interesting but but consistent Rick is the the police said that of the 35 people that were detained after the violence, uh more than 20 of them are from a dozen states. Um one suspect is from France. Another is from Canada. Two are from Georgia: others are from Maine Massachusetts, New York, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Wisconsin and the police haven't yet released any of their ages or any other information um. But but there was a 26 year old environmentalist, um Manuel Esteban Perez was shot to death by officers at the protest in January um. The demonstrators then tried to Blind officers by shining Green Lasers into their eyes and use tires and debris to block a road um, which is the with the Georgia Department of Public Safety said on Monday. This is really interesting and it says two things to me: one that there is, I don't think, you're going to be able to see a reduction in how citizens from the United States are looking at what policing looks like in the future and how resources are put Towards policing, and so while some who say defund the police um actually mean get rid of the police, others who say defund the police mean how do we take resources that the police gets? I mean because when you look at some of the largest cities in the country, there's been more on policing than they do on anything else. And so, when you're talking about hundreds of millions of dollars being put towards the building of facilities and training. And some would say: well, why are we funding training when training obviously doesn't work um this this was this is an 85 acre Training Center uh Rick and it would you're talking about cutting down so many trees that it would be environmentally damaging. Um. The mayor said that the facility will be built on that site um. It was clear decades ago for a former State Prison Farm and he said that the track is filled with rubble and overgrown with and and um invasive species, not hardwood but trees. The mayor also said that, while the facility would be built on the 85 Acres about 300, others would be preserved as public Green Space. So there's there's some obviously that are that are counteracting this. This this reality, that's an environmental issue um, so it's so so Rick. I mean there's so much just in this one story in Atlanta um, that's about how are we deciding what we're going to build in urban areas? What gets resources and what doesn't? How are we looking at the training of police officers and how is money being put towards Public Safety and, what's being taken away as a result of the massive amounts of dollars, um that the police receive um this? This is huge, and and and and - and I think, while this Atlanta piece is getting a lot of play because of the protest and the violence around it - um we're gon na see a lot of this moving forwards.
