Foreign, how are you okay, I'm Nicola the owner of the salon, it's an absolute pleasure to meet you. I am carrying out your hair appointment today, it's nice to have you here. May I ask how did you hear about us? Okay, I do love a good recommendation. That'S great, so what can I do for you today? Yeah? Okay, all right! So when was the last time you went to the hairdressers, okay, so about six months. Yes, it's kind of natural all right, so you do pop a die on it or two at home. All right, when's, the last time you dyed your hair, Okay, so three months or so, would you say, did you used to have it colored in the salon? Yeah, okay, it makes sense, it's quite expensive! Yeah! That'S why I do try to keep my prices. Nice, nice low here as long as I'm, you know covering the cost of everything and a little bit of profit. You know just to keep us afloat and Liz, but I don't charge these extortional prices someone's charge yeah, but I can definitely have a look at your hair. Let'S see what I can do, color wise all right. I will have to carry out a patch test on you before I can actually color your hair. I can do that for you today, but looking at your hair, it is a nice color. I can see where the dye is coming out. Yeah because you've got your roots, it's not too too different, actually from your natural hair color, which is quite good, but I bet, as I look through we're going to be quite patchy. Yeah but I'll have a look in a moment, so I could go through and just see obviously the quality of your hair, because we don't always like to dye someone's hair after they've been using a box dime. But as you said, you haven't done it for about three months: that's not too bad, and then I can cut it today and then you can always come back and I can do the color that you want all right. I'M guessing you are wanting me to cut it today. I just have to check so that's fine, okay, all right any ideas, what you're wanting okay? Definitely so you want a good cut and tidy up, maybe thin it out a little bit. Okay. What are your plans with your hair, or are we wanting to grow it, and we just want him to keep it similar to what it is, or are you wanting to bring it up a little bit, maybe even shorter? Okay right, that's fine! So if we bring it up a little bit, then maybe a couple of inches or something yeah take the weight out of it a little bit. You know make sure it's nicer on your face and that and then we can go from there, because I think we need to get a little bit of a good cut on the go. Just get rid of all those dead ends, yeah and then be nice and free of all those split ends and be nice base for when you come next time for me to do the color how's that sound good and then maybe in the future. You know if you want to bring it up a little bit or leave it to grow, that's totally up to you, but I definitely think for the first cut. We do need to bring it up a little bit all right, because I can see it looks a little bit uneven in places yeah yeah, so you feel a little bit bored with your hair yeah. It makes sense we'll go through those stages. I mean what kind of hair color. Are you wanting? Okay, it's supposed to be some highlights throughout. Maybe okay, oh she's, looking more, maybe slices? Okay, so I don't want to make you stripy, but you know I think we could put some good slashes in there and things like that, and that could look really nice for this nice color, because it's quite chocolatey isn't it would you be wanting me to pop Pop on a similar color in between yeah - because I do like that because I see your Naturals it's more flat, dull yeah - I mean I could feel that it is. You know possibly a little bit dehydrated a little bit dry, but that could be to do with the Box dies. It depends what shampoo and conditioner, and things like that you are using, but we can work on the condition, not a problem, and once I give it a good cut today, we've got a brilliant base for next time, all right, my lovely to not to worry at All but yeah your hair is gorgeous it's so and thick. You know, overall, it doesn't look too bad. Do you experience any greasy hair dry, itchy scalp, because your hair fall out a lot to break off uh, so it did before yeah again. That could be for the excessive dying of your hair, but I think we've definitely got a plan for what I want to do with the color. But it'll give you some time to have a think about what you want me to do. Okay, but let me just have a look through your hair - just want to have a little look here just so just so, I can see what's the color like in the condition. Hmm, it's not too bad. You know. I think that three-month Gap must have helped not bad. Let'S have a look at this bit. It feels fairly strong, I'm guessing you didn't necessarily go over the top with it. How long in between did you leave the colors okay so about six weeks? Okay, so that's not too bad and how many boxes did you end up needing to use yeah? Do you ever pop on toners as well, or is it literally just the color? Okay, that's fine, some people, they use a box dye and then they pop on a toner and keep layering it up. You know it's not good. It feels quite strong gorgeous though nice and thick lovely yeah. I think we're definitely in a position to dye your hair. Definitely yeah, but if I can get you back in say about five weeks, I can do the color and I'll probably just have to take the ends off slightly okay about that all right. Just to make sure we've got nice fresh ends and you know make sure it's perfect, but yeah. I'M definitely happy with that. That'S good, whatever you've been using on your hair, has been helping. What have you been using? Okay? So that's good! That'S a nice mix of products there so SP products, okay and a little bit of olaplex. Okay, that's fine! I'D find something that works for you and that helps your hair. You know not necessarily something that's a massive price tag or whatever. If it's something that you feel is working for you, then I would get that, but I would definitely recommend a dark oil and something like the SP perfect ends. I think that'd be good for you just by looking at the ends of your hair, but they're not split ends. Something like that will be really good, and you know just good shampoo conditioner. I take it. You are using SP yeah, it's a lot cheaper than the olaplex yeah, the SP I'd stick to in that I would recommend using a hydrating shampoo. You could use the conditioner, but I would recommend you just use the repair for now. Okay to repair condition, nothing else. No masks nothing like that: okay, just a shampoo and conditioner all right and then use some dark oil after you've washed it and then blow dry, your hair and straighten it up or curl it or whatever. You want to do, but make sure you're using a heat. Protective spray, do you use one of those you do yeah? I thought you might say, that's really good one. Isn'T it okay? So that's perfect, then, so you seem to got everything in hand. Apart from minus the Box dies, but other than that you, you know, you'll seem to be doing the right job and looking after your hair. So it's perfect all right. So I'm happy with that. Let me move on to the cut. So, are we happy for me to take it up a few inches yeah open it out a little bit all right. What did you last wash your hair all right? Okay, now, don't feel that you need to wash your hair to come to see me all right. Honestly, it's perfectly fine, it's probably better when I'm dyeing it, if you don't actually wash your hair for a good few days beforehand, come to me when, basically your eyes dirty and then I can dye your hair that way all right and then give it a good Wash afterwards it helps make you know the dye take better and the bleach, especially because I will be popping bleach in to do the highlights all right. Okay, so don't worry about thinking. I'Ve got to wash my hair okay, so are you wanting me literally to just do your wet cut today or you're wanting me to wash it dry it and straighten it to something? Okay, uh-huh, no problem! I can do that for you, that's fine. If you are 100 sure, okay, all right - that's fine with me, so I will Spritz it then, and I will trim it cut. It make sure it's all level thin it out a little bit and then, if you're 100 sure, then we can let you go otherwise. I will blow dry it. Okay, all right, no problem, but I must say next time when I do the color, I will have to do a finish as well. Okay, so it'd be good for me to color it cut it dry, it straighten it all right. Yes, the full works. It would be really good, I think, to pamper you and to actually you know make your hair perfect for me to actually you know see the color see the cut all right yeah I think so, but as you're happy for me to not do that today, then That'S fine, I suppose we just need to chip into it and you know make it right for next time. Isn'T it when you're going somewhere new, but you know it can be daunting for anybody, but if we've got anxiety and things like that, it just makes everything ten times worse. Doesn'T it yeah I'd love to be one of those that doesn't get anxiety like proper anxiety? I mean you know we all experience kind of anxiety at times, but but yeah, I'm glad that I made you feel okay and comfortable all right. I'M glad to hear that you're right.
