Stop making this mistake if your hair is really frizzy first, can be caused by a lot of different things, but one of the most unexpected causes of frizz is using too much product on your hair. It'S super important to make sure that your hair is protected after washing. It so definitely still use a leave-in conditioner, but you don't need to use a bunch of different leave-in conditioning products all at once, so you don't need a spray and a serum and a lotion and a cream and an oil. All that's going to do is pile product onto your hair and cause buildup that makes your hair look really frizzy and make sure that you're using leave-in products that have the right kind of texture and weight for your hair type. So, for example, if you have really fine thin hair and you're using a really thick creamy, buttery leave-in cream, that's something that may not work the best, because it could be too heavy and cause frizz.

Melissa Catlin: My hair is frizzy no matter what. I've tried tons of different shampoos, conditioners and leave in products. Nothing has calmed the frizz.

Mahathi Carlapati: Ooooh lips

FiFi Lamour: The main cause of frizzy hair is not having straight hair. The only way to defrizz wavy or curly hair is to learn to style it in its natural pattern or straighten it with heat.

Adriana Velazquez: You lips!

Rebecca ART. AKA ClayFeathers: Because my hair is so fine and thinning I actually make a little frizz underneath while blow drying. It gives it a little thicker look. ❤

Jordan Star: You hair look incredible here!

MakeupDoll: I have a question: should we use a leave-in + hair oil or just one leave-in? Another youtuber said using too many products will make your hair heavy and not nice so now I'm wondering if we should use a hair oil in combination with a leave-in conditioner

Wendy: Thank you Abbey this is exactly what I've been doing wrong too much layering to much product thank you

Kita: Can you recommend products for curly hair that is fine please.

Mobile Styles: Your #hair looks gorgeous. It is so healthy and luscious. And the volume is stunning.

Valarie Madueno: This applies more to straight hair....

Erica Brown: Is EVA NYC primer too heavy for fine hair? Is the fine hair version just as good as original? Any other drugstore recs for a leave in/heat protectant? I do like Ion repair spray but that isn’t heat protectant.

Oli w: I only use shampoo and conditioner and my hair is frizzy

Lauren: I need a good lightweight moisturizing leave in conditioner for my frizzy fine hair! Do you have any recommendations or a video to check out?

GK: I have low-po curly hair and I’ve tried so many products. Abbey, do you have any recs for low-po Caucasian wavy/curly hair? Everything so far is too heavy, and the Curly girl method is the worssssttt for low-porosity hair. They recommend piling on so many products, it’s insane! I always use K18, then tried anti-frizz living proof leave in conditioner (still frizzy), then next wash tried Living Proof Curl Enhancer (frizz), then instead next time tried “Miss Jessie’s Soft Curls” (frizz), idk what to try next. I’ve tried oils but those are a huge no-no for my hair type, they never ever absorb. Should I try a heat cap to try to maximize absorption? I usually never use heat….ever. Thank you!

Sofie D: Seriously how can someone with super soft perfect hair convince me of how to stop hair lol so unrelated like come on can you please bring someone once with real bad hair frizz and show others how it’s really done Selling people dreams is so yesterday I don’t watch commercials it’s never related She does have beautiful hair God bless no envy dear i have gorgeous red thick curly hair ‍ and my daughter too. Emperor of Wyoming: The lip fillers lost me.
